and if they for any reason changed their mind, you might come out well...
about $215k... 75m x .003 not much of a market cap
not many shares left he can get
nite sits on bid, he needs a few million shares to cover I expect
now they have a liquidity problem. they should reconsider this if its a serious attempt at launching a serious company
yep. its $3.20x4.00 now at 0032x004...
I guess I'll have to hope for that
I may just hold for now, there is always a chance it will change or be postponed, and pretty soon, there won't be any shares left anyone has left to sell
i've only seen one or two myself with a 1000 for 1 work out for the existing shareholders in the last decade... its not impossible, but its pretty darn rare.
I've seen plenty of 10 for 1s, or 100 for 1s work out for shareholders, but 1000 for one is another story
and nite is on the bid... surprise surprise
I'm shocked
float will be 4,000 shares, if the 4 million share count is accurate..
or 10,000 if the float is currently 10 million shares now
this is nuts
there will be zero liquidity
I really didn't think they would do this, with a float this small already, there will be almost no shares left in the public market after the RS
it means at .01, it will have to be worth 10.00 to be of equal value...
I've rarely seen a 1000 for 1 work out for the shareholders.
once or twice, but its pretty rare
so I gambled, and probably lost this time.
he didnt
you might have gotten fills at those price levels on Feb 1, but you didn't get 2.6 million shares...
the entire day of Feb 1, it only traded 1.5 million shares and it was 10 cents per share before half of that even filled

there was not enough volume traded at those levels for that kind of average price for that large of a position, unless you were buying one to two years back, or unless you're off a decimal
have you looked at this one yet?

had a wild move on news a month ago, and chart is getting interesting again
2 days in a row, buys posted after the bell
not to keep be-laboring the short discussion but I've always noticed when MMs are short a stock, they like to bid wack end of day, I think to show a nice gain on their account balance.
I've seen it a lot even with 100 share trades at the end of the day hitting the bid on a ticker they are short on.
chart: pretty clear continuing trendline forming so far it looks like of higher lows, as investors continue to buy any dips and hold

looking again at the volume history for the last 2 years, I think the maximum the float could possibly be, without any current dilution would be between roughly 10 to 13m...
if you look at the volume history, and make a wild assumption that no one traded the bounce or a swing trade when it reverse split and went from dollars to a bottom it would be around 13m.
realistically probably at least 1/3 to 1/2 of that volume involved some flipping, and possibly more.
then you have almost an entire year it only traded about 2m shares total. I think its safe to say no new shares entered the market for that entire year.
so I guess its possible the float could be anywhere from 4m to 10m. most likely in between somewhere.
but when the market makers can simply short at will, makes any analysis more problematic for sure.

my mistake... news is from december... thought it was current when I saw it under the ticker of my scanner
http://finance.yahoo.com/news/Riverdale-Capital-Continues-iw-475627619.html?x=0
last published data is the where number originally came from... since then we're all just guessing based on volume/price action
http://www.otcmarkets.com/pink/quote/quote.jsp?symbol=ucso
Float(shares)
4,010,785 as of May 5, 2008
bought the news today
studying volume history its interesting to see that a price level or channel seems to take about 4 million shares to establish
we traded roughly 4m shares below 01 over a period of several days
then we traded 4m shares 01 to 025
now we've traded 2.5m shares 01 to 018 roughly...
so probably if the volume/price history stays the same,
another 1.5m will trade around these levels before it changes again.
unless the company puts out news or an update in the short term.
then all bets are off.

so who owns this shell now?
for the folks who don't know much about the publishing business, I have a few friends in the music business, and last week one buddy told me he did the music editing on a low budget film not long ago, only a 5 to 6 million dollar film, and HALF of the budget was spent on music. HALF. up to 100k per track for licensing music...
people have no idea what it costs.
just an fyi for people who don't think a few tracks, not to mention 20,000, can end up being worth something when put in the right hands to get it marketed to the film and television industry...
best of luck on that.. if it turns out your right, then my position size will double :)
but I wouldn't count on getting the chance.
time will tell...

maybe a cheaper way to become a reporting company, than getting all the filings current? just a guess...
google finance shows the XCHC news linked on the CNCM ticker to the right of the chart:

so here is what I'm trying to figure out from the 2/17 PR:
>>X-Change Corporation completed the merger with Connected Media Technologies, Inc., and in doing so the purchase price was paid in stock. Control has been turned over to the share holders of Connected Media.<<<
I've had shares in XCHC for a very long time, but I'm trying to figure out if shareholders of CNCM are going to realize anything from this merger or not...
I guess everyone is trying to figure that out!
slow and steady wins the race... as far as actually investing in something, which is entirely different from momentum trading. nothing wrong with either approach, I do both, but usually if you have a big win its almost always a longer term position, not a daytrade.
so far so good! happy to just hold and watch and wait for next updates from the company..
microcap market was very strong today.
very busy market out there.
excellent DD! was out all day, you've been working hard!
yes, music catalogues can be extremely valuable. Marc has the experience to monetize this 20,000 song catalogue, and position it for acquisition... what I've been suspecting is the biz plan long term. could be a very interesting ride :)
