you could email matt about it.
nope, not yet, but looking forward to it. ;) eom
that's a really mixed bag of news, isn't it? great for NLST shareholdes, rotten for anyone in the gulf. i hope for all our sakes we get a zillion storms entering the gulf, but none of them make landfall. then we can all be happy.
has anyone heard from our board moderator, fleabit, lately? i notice he hasn't posted on ihub since may 10th!
equitable mining is ready to take off and yet the stock's information box hasn't been updated in weeks. what should we do about this?
no shares yet. eom
any time, popcorn! eom
armyseal, check the chart i just posted. it says to me there hasn't been lots of selling lately. money flow was still postiive during this last pullback.
low float and mmm? probably. get ready for a bull run next week. we shouldn't forget awarenss of EQBM is growing. we've got new buyers coming in from frankfurt as skolnick is now doing a european "road show" of sorts (my description, not his), and it will have an increasing impact on volume.
so why, in the midst of all of this, would the pps be sinking? many stocks have a similar pattern before a bull run. theories abound, but my guess is mms need to load up on some cheapies to make money at the top.
a little TA on EQBM. CMF and a/d line very interesting. it's clear from CMF that investor confidence needs to be established, but we knew that already, we also know that's why the pps is very low and expect this to change soon. why? notice how the CMF is trending recently. money is about to start pouring back into EQBM.
the indicator supporting this the most is the a/d line. while it has been flat for most of the last 6 months, and understandably on a decline from march to late may, notice what it did on the 22nd. an extreme explosion to the upside, a total reversal, and now we seem to be settling into a new, trend of postiive, not negative, divergence.
RSI shouldn't be left out, either. looks like it will be back in the zone next week, trending higher.
isn't it crazy, futrcash? the postiive divergence of a/d is OPPOSITE of the chart's pps between late march and early may. at its lowest point in terms of pps, in early may, CMF was at its highest. anyone not watching these indicators would have been fooled into thinking BIGN was just dead money... and look what happened.
more important... look at what's about to happen NEXT. ;)

my thoughts exactly on BIGN. very well said, coydog!

okay BIGNeros and BIGNistas, it's the weekend, how about a bit of TA for monday? let's check out CMF & accum/dist, which i would say is very bullish... RSI is holding up fine if you reference where it was on the week of may 8th but the CFM and accum/dist line are what i find most interesting:
notice how the CMF behaved over the last 3 months. the only time it went negative, money flowing OUT, was after the first run. traders wanted to take profits, and got a bit spooked thinking they'd lose their gains (may 15th) but they quickly sensed the upward trend was confirming itself and they were aggressive buyers again. this was may 22nd, a MONDAY, and by tuesday the next PR had arrived, but by then the money flow was already established, and positive. (this tells me PRs on monday aren't essential to keep BIGN on a bull run!) notice NOW how the CMF is still quite positive even after our recent slide. this tells me nobody is even thinking of taking their money OUT of BIGN. buyers are overwhelming sellers during this "correction".
next check out the accum/dist line. very, very bullish. the trend is nothing but up. draw your trend line and you'll see the dip it took on may 8th was insignificant to the overall bullish positive divergence. right now BIGN has a very strong, multi-month positive divergence and it is showing no signs of slowing down. we can see the dip it took on may 8th was a mere head-fake that actually marked the beginning of a huge rally, and at this point its negative divergence in the short term is less steep now than it was back on may 8th. this is all soooo bullish! goooo BIGN..!
not sure if i've got the bollies too tight on this. 12 period had them barely showing on the bottom band. is it normal to have the candles outside the lower band, as you can see between april and may? tia.
indeed. we're juuust getting going and already, what a monster stock this is! wish i had more. would love to see a dip so i can add to my stack.
what are the typical patterns for profit taking? three day runs? news of course can change all of this, but i'm wondering if any of you here have traded the swings successfully.
i have to agree, that's a good call, arch. oversold is oversold. no two ways about it.
arch, you know some very talkative mice.
sorry to hear of these misfortunes, pappee, but it sure sounds like PTSC did well for you. good luck!
that just ain't going to happen. period. way too many of us have bought in right here. there's very solid support at this level.

look at what the RSI did on may 15th... then look at the similarities in volume between may 15th and now... you see where i'm going? :) reversal.
and besides, we are still way above the 50ma!
enjoy the weekend, CanAm818..! ;)
pappee, the new record date is 5-19-06. that's not very encouraging for those who sold on 5-10-06. check this PR:
http://biz.yahoo.com/pz/060503/98502.html
"Biogenerics has informed the NASD that it would delay the record date for a short period of time in order to complete all aspects of the Tyche transaction before the special dividend payout to insure its objective of long-term shareholder value. Biogenerics accounting advisors have now determined that all components of the Tyche transaction have been completed in its entirety to comply with all aspects of SEC Rule 10b-17. The new record date for the Special Dividend will be on May 19, 2006 with a payment date of June 2, 2006."
thanks kaddy27. apologies for the mixup. this week has me fried... i need to step away from the computer for a few days. ;)
in other words you're expecting BIGN to generate no news that would move the pps past .04s for a month and a half? seriously? hope you've got some dry powder and are ready to chase this a little. i think the .04s are soon to be history. too much news is due out that could move us to new heights.

it has been more than 72 hours. i'm willing to bet we get news on this very soon, and this time around it'll be about signatures on the dotted line, not letters of intent.
well put. i'm getting sick of the FUD around here. damned sick of it.
thanks for those links, satchi. you know the 1 year chart of BIGN is oddly more comforting to me now than it was say 3 or 4 days ago:

reason being we're beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel now, and that should be followed by a new leg up. but we have been building a BASE recently. something this stock only had when it was dragging its belly on the ground! BIGN is now drawing the chart of a legit and growing company. we've been bumping along a bit lately, but we will get there, and don't forget how much the poor performance of the major averages influenced BIGN's activity this last week, either.
candlesticks, anyone? today closed with a long shadow reversal that will require confirmation, preferably on strong volume (here i should reference your post satchi!). however. mondays, and especially those with an event that drives the pps, are especially good for creating volume and that's where i think we will get our confirmation of the new leg up. today's close showed a hammer forming. so let's get ready for a bullish reversal. i'd say monday should be fun, and it will confirm how longs feel about this stock, news or not!

candlesticks 101:

one aspect of the OTCQX that cannot be underestimated is that it gives good companies on the pinks a very attainable goal that will attract a better class of shareholder. the worst companies will have no aspirations to list on the OTCQX and so it will be easier for savvy traders to avoid them. great moves coming for ATWT. really looking forward to the month of june!
good point, masterfridge. i think our last PR, which was completely unexpected, confirms that same strategy of quiet execution. certainly better than the flipside.
masterfridge, appreciate your DD. that's great news about ATWT's upcoming numbers and it would be a real boost to the pps to get that audit done as well. thanks!
ovidius, does it stand to reason i like my picks? actually have we ever talked about which ones are my favorites and why? glad to hear i was recommended. this has been a tough market for many of us lately, EQBM not withstanding, but i think next week will be a big improvement. what EQBM needs is news.

just now listening to a very bullish commentary about MINING companies on CNBC. the analyst said miners have gotten hit too hard in the recent correction of gold. he thinks gold will rally, but miners will do even better..! he closed by saying the gold companies have the best value of all the metals miners!! gooo EQBM!!
all the chatter on the tube today is about rising oil prices, rising nat. gas prices... storms already damaging refineries, iran's nuclear ambitions, negerian hostage situations, etc, etc, etc. a rotten crazy world, but certainly bullish for where we've got our cash parked.
RSI is uptrending nicely, too! gooo IDCN!! http://stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui?s=idcn&p=D&yr=0&mn=3&dy=0&id=p03070313317
only one more order on the ask at .0027, then we're on to .0029!! gooo IDCN!
chavez is going to do wonders for my portfolio..! thanks for the update. did you hear that on CNBC frankie?
hey, those .0025 shares i just bought will come in really handy when IDCN hits .006 and above! thanks flippers!
