thanks.
is this a good stock to buy?
i do believe i read somewhere a while back that they begin trials on the security container product this month. anyone have info on that?
i found this too: (i know everybodys seen this)
http://www.fuelcelltoday.com/FuelCellToday/IndustryInformation/IndustryInformationExternal/NewsDispl...
thanks. good luck.
which ones did you get? im always lookin.
like ive mentioned earlier, im still buying to make my pps better. being so far down it seems the best thing for ME to do. still though, this company compared to others is as mentioned before, a jewel. i cant even reach anyone at the phone number listed with the sec on one of my other penny stocks. like thunder, i dont think i'll gamble as much at the start on my next venture. id be more worried about vspc going out of business if they didnt already have govment contracts and werent teamed up with all the big players involved. (caltech too).
all the info and research is great. main thing for me is for a penny stock and a chance that it might make me loads of money, vspc, compared to other penny stocks, is well worth the gamble.
i agree, its a gamble. but when it pays off, its gonna be awesome. i got more last week and plan to keep buying. tryin to get my avg per share down while possible. hopefully fmnj is coming along too.
thanks.
one more thing for the day. i found this on fmnj board and its makes good sense:
"And you will never find a basher in a stock with no potential."

well said.

fyi: i called the number listed here again today and.. well just call it and you'll see. i hope the rumors of something positive are true but TO ME, its looking doubtful. id feel alot better about my position and would probly even buy more, if mr. milligan would just talk to me. oh well, i'll keep my fingers crossed anyway.
FYI:
Prior to founding VIASPACE, Dr. Kukkonen was a Caltech employee and served as Director of the Center for Space Microelectronics and Manager of Supercomputing at JPL. Dr. Kukkonen established and grew the Center for Space Microelectronics into a 250-person operation with a $70M annual budget. Dr. Kukkonen was awarded the NASA Exceptional Achievement Medal in 1992.
From 1977 ‚ 1984, Dr. Kukkonen was at the Ford Motor Company, where he was Fordís leading expert on hydrogen as an alternative automotive fuel. As a Principal Research Engineer, he also led a team that developed Fordsí first turbocharged intercooled direct injection diesel engine.
Dr. Kukkonen received a BS in physics from the University of California at Davis. He earned a MS and Ph.D. in physics from Cornell University and was a post-doctoral fellow at Purdue
it really sucks that pps is so far down rite now and its hard to stay positive, but here are main things to consider still:
*really smart people running vspc and the scientists (even though theyre WAY overpaid)
*ninch market in latest technology
*patent portfolio
*teaming partners
*recent institutional investors (stockholder equity)
*products (either commercialized or in the process of commercialization)
*sales (revenue) which has so far, doubled this year
*the prs are annoying but after understanding that they are from 3rd parties, theyre easy to overlook.
**its wise not to buy or sale based on ANYONES opinion. do your own DD. however, objective conversations bring about awareness.
good luck!

Carl Kukkonen, president and CEO of Direct Methanol Fuel Cell Corporation and chairman, CEO & co-founder of VIASPACE, Inc., presented "Fuel Cells and Fuel Cartridges to Power Portable Electronics." His company's portable cartridge burns methanol safely enough to be approved by the FAA for airplane use, and will allow consumers to re-charge or operate their electronics for far longer than today's lithium ion batteries and the like. DMFCC is mainly working with Korean and Japanese partners to commercialize the product. He expects his cartridges to hit the marketplace in 2008 with volume in 2009. His company is working on the energy infrastructure to not only get the cartridges produced in large quantities but to allow them to easily hit the mainstream market.
where did find info on the sec short selling? thanks.
theres a new sec ruling that short transactions have to be closed out in 35 days from last wednesday. ive mentioned this before but i think that pps drop has alot to do with the special arrangements in cornell capital financing where they received payment in shares for .30 each. anyway, hopefully when shorts are done away with, if not before, we'll see a rise.
i'll bet ya we'll have some good things come out of conferences vspc recently presented at.
if i werent so far down i cant say i wouldnt get out.
this makes me curious. vspc filed the following:
http://www.pinksheets.com/quote/print_filings.jsp?url=%2Fredirect.asp%3Ffilename%3D0000950134%252D07...
which contains this:
USE OF PROCEEDS
Unless otherwise provided in the applicable prospectus supplement, we intend to use the net proceeds from the sale of the common stock under this prospectus to fund ongoing selling, general and administrative expenses and for general corporate working capital purposes of the Company. The proceeds also may be used to support expansion of the Company, including selected acquisitions. We will set forth in the prospectus supplement our intended use for the net proceeds received from the sale of any securities. Pending the application of the net proceeds, we intend to invest the net proceeds generally in short-term, investment grade, interest bearing securities.
and then they filed this:

I think vspc is about to merge or acquire another business. this is ONLY what I THINK is happening. we'll see.
you think we'll see .25 next week?
whats next?
anybody here know exactly what notice of effectiveness is for?
cool!!!
isnt notice of effectiveness something you file when theres a merger? anyone know?
"Des said it's going to be huge!" ?????
i know you guys are in for "one last run" but its just backwards to have all this confidence in such an obvious scammer. and all this positive chatter just promotes and supports people like DES, who profits off honest hard working people. but, as mentioned, i guess its gotta be right for the individual. good luck.
didnt read where they were using fuel cells. anyone see that info?
yeah rite.
red alert? why?
they have technology from nasa. they have products. they have sales.
very
