OT -- Just had a stock that has had a sell order in for several weeks, sell 10 out of 3,000 shares. Last time I had a stock do this, it took 4 months to hit that price again. What a crazy market.
TradeChamp -- So well spoken. I agree that the same people bashing were saying yesterday at .0088 that they got in at .0001. They'll be saying the same thing if this makes it to 1.00. I guess bashers and pumpers make this game interesting.
Greek -- With a low float in HCEI, isn't it going to take some fantastic news to make people actually want to be in this stock? We've had these wild swings on low volume for weeks now. I agree the low float has potential to make those of us holding lots of money, I just don't see what will be the catalyst to get trading going. I asked this a while back, but has anyone actually tried this coffee to see if it is worth buying if/when it is readily available?
Swings in HCEI are enough to drive anyone insane.
ghostone -- I agree. I'm not a genius, but if I know I haven't done anything wrong, and the pps of my company rises, I am not going to say anything to mess that up!
BIEL has so much promise, it just needs something to get it moving up again.
Arnold -- I believe the total value has to stay the same in a split. In a dividend, you are getting something for free. In a split, they are simply cahnging how the same value is represented. As others have said on this board. The big question on Monday and onward will be how the market reacts.
If the company wanted to reward me for being a share holder, I would have preferred a cash dividend.
marcg -- Your scenario below seems more like a share dividend which this is not. In a share dividend, shareholders may get something like 1/2 share for each they own, with the price not changing. In a split, the price changes, keeping value of combined shares and pps the same.
What don't you guys understand. You'll be getting 3 shares for every 2 you own now. Based on that if the price holds it is presntly trading at a post split equivalency of .093.
marcg, -- I believe in a 3/2 split, you will have more shares at a reduced price. Theoreretically, splits are made to prevent shares from getting too high that they will keep potential investors from buying. I'm guessing whovever decided on this split must have thought people would have been priced out at .10 per share.
If I had 20000 shares at .10 today I would have 30000 shares at .0667 on Monday. Apparently they are hoping the climb from .06+ will be quicker than the climb from .10
Personally I don't think there is a way to tell if this was a smart move or not until after the fact. People may think the price went down on Monday (that didn't know of split) and buy. Others that weren't paying attention may sell, thinking the bottom is falling out.
One thing I am not sure of, but would assume and stop loss prices would be adjusted as well, but it can't hurt to check.
Ghostone -- It wasn't what they said exactly. It was the whole tone of the call. I'm sure there are many other posts you can look back to, but here is my take on the call. Wanted to dispel rumors, all of which in my opinion were so far out there. Call opened with speakers (CEO and IR) saying they didn't want people artificially pumping the price (meaning they think it's too high) -- which brings up the question of why in the world any CEO or IR would say the price was too high. They said rumor of a buyout was false . (so what). Arnold Schwartzenegger has no presence or stock in company (so what -- he still has influence if he signs bill for sharps disposal). Can't even remember the other ones, they were so outlandish. Next they said financials would be coming out soon (in retrospect, maybe they were clueing shareholders that stock would soon plummet). Then they said how much faith they have in company. People (including myself) walked away from call thinking those guys are not good business people. Then terrible financials come out next day.
Looks like HCEI has gone into hibernation.
WAZUP -- After listening to the call, I was afraid something like this might happen. The purpose of the call (at least that's what they said), was to be as honest about everything as possible in an effort to give the shareholders a positive feeling.
I'm beginning to think the exact opposite. Now I see two possibilities. Either they have a rookie IR guy, like you suggest, which does not give me a comforting feeling OR they did this on purpose to get more shares, which again causes me to lose faith.
They could have simply put out a PR or letter to shareholders saying they don't address rumors and they will keep shareholders informed to the extent the law allows.
Canadian Kid -- Do you have the number to contact him? Doesn't that guy realize that pumping or bashing can be done without information? (such as they aren't releasing information because it's bad news). Putting out facts (instead of nothing) would stop the rumors. Thanks for your DD.
$heff -- PDMI -- Do you know what caused the stock to plummet in January?
Johnjhao -- Maybe the CEO is buying at these lower prices. Someone is.
Yahoojason -- They said on call share numbers, float, etc weren't up to date. They would be published with 08 financials, which I don't recall them saying exactly when that would be.
Manti -- I think at first he said up, then he said up or down several times.
Medicineman (or anyone)-- If this is true, shouldn't ASFX put out some kind of PR tomorrow?
$heff --- Any thoughts on BMTL at .35? With the SB486 bill supposedly going to get signed in CA, plus possibly at national level, getting first machine into Kroger.

LFBG -- Can't get filled at .092
Will the MMs try to push this down today in order to cover?
mine too
EVERYTHING is taking a major hit for me, except ASFX.
thecon00 -- I still have a small position as well. My guess unfortunately is that LVLV and EWRC were in on a scam with the same attorney. EWRC CEO is buying all the shares and will then pump again and find some more suckers.
While a believe this stock can be flipped for profit if timing is right, I no longer believe in any legitimate buyout offer or any potential profits. I hope I'm wrong, but that my opinion. Good luck.
Ontherise -- I think we should all agree to ask your question, if by some infinitely small chance, he actually allows them to be asked.
HCEI -- Awfully light volume today. Maybe 2 trades?
JTX -- any thoughts? Bought in at 4.85 this morning. Saw others in around 5.50 or so. Everyone still holding?
I showed my wife the video on the safety show and she said she would like to have one of those thermometers. If Gov. Arnold signs the bill, those two combined will be huge revenue potential. Nothing to keep the stock down either.
HCEI -- Has anyone actually tried the coffee?
Anyone still in ASFX? It's taking off like crazy.
VIS ---- I did the same thing with CXAC in May. I bought like 10 million at .0001 and set an automatic sell up for .0002. One day a few weeks back, I saw an update come onto my screen saying that 7,000,000 had been sold at .0002 and it went up more. Got out of remaining 3,000,000 at .0006 for a nice profit. Sometimes it pays to be lucky.
ASFX Chart -- Still holding this one or taken profits?

YMI -- Still holding or selling PM? If holding, what's target?
KGOODRICH -- How do I get on the momentum list?
CORS -- Anyone have chart or news to help figure out huge rise EOD?
not approved, but approval pending. This could be resolved soon, take quite a while, or be a fraud. I guess that's why this is a lottery play.
