boy, were "they" determined to close it at $2.40. were you guys watching that???
i sure wish the manipulators would step in and run us up a bit rather than have us drift into position for a late afternoon run on the $2.20s...
pretty please?
i didn't expect responses from 2 of our formerly more classy and refined posters!
FINALLY...something useful from the Biotech Values board...

Medtronic on board to test orgasm device
North Carolina surgeon Stuart Meloy may have discovered a game changer for some women: a device that produces "orgasms on demand". He decided to pursue developing the product after witnessing a female patient's intense stimulation after he placed electrodes in her lower back for an undisclosed condition. The device consists of two electrodes that will be surgically inserted into certain nerves in the spinal column and a cigarette pack-size signal generator implanted in the upper buttock. The user presses a remote control button for stimulation. The device will be studied for women who have serious cases of orgasmic dysfunction where some women's brains interpret arousal as a fear response.Medtronic (MDT) has signed on to conduct tests. No decision on developing a mass market version has been disclosed.
deepest sympathies, nh...
no matter what pphm reported in financials this morning, i believe it was going down this morning. the revenue 'miss' is just an excuse for those who don't know the science...
if there's nothing additional on the CC, we'll know some of the run-up was program trading run amuc. the PRs about the pre-clinicals next week could not cause that surge by themselves.
AF hatchet job, right on schedule
it may not be over anticipation about tomorrow at all, but a fizzle from Tustin tomorrow will be embarrassing at the least, and will likely cause another big dump. It would be awfully nice if they come up with something that helps sustain this week's gain. Adding to the gain would be better.
Dew..
as you know, I'm a PPHMer, and (1) I thought your post was pretty funny, and (2), yeah, there are some folks over there who just fell off the turnip truck for sure.
what a MAjor crapshoot going into tomorrow! anybody who says they know which way this thing is going tomorrow is lying. (unless, of course, they have inside information yet again!)
all things considered, it held pretty well
looks like the buyers have been satisfied.
bets are placed.
what do the utterances of the longs on the pphm board have to do with the science?
the question is... is the PS a real upstream checkpoint? if so, might pphm's product, when combined with proven anti-cancer treatments, improve outcomes?
that is what the discussion should be about, not delusional posters.
as was previously stated on this board, novel drugs have 2 strikes against them...but some prove to be effective and blaze useful paths. most folks think cocktails will be the answer in making progress in oncology...pphm is only saying that they think their product will be useful in such cocktails...
on what grounds is this upstream checkpoint being dismissed here?
this is too much fun!
program trading at this time of day is...nice
CJ...
thinking of you...
too bad you don't have any profits to take.
why is pphm poison over here?
they've spent a tremendous amount of money on research, admitted they were unsure of the MOA for years although significant positive effects were shown, made it through a screwed up double-blind trial with enough documentation to at least achieve FTD, followed it up with iron-clad preclinicals about the MOA they've finally figured out as an immuno agent, yet smart people here still doubt everything that is being brought forth.
tom freidman wrote an article last week about the kind of people google likes to hire. the kind they like best are the ones who, while enjoying being leaders, love to appreciate what their colleagues have discovered...putting their egos aside and getting behind the team's discovery and helping it be successful...
pphm's science deserves another look, folks. this shouldn't be about preconceived notions...
$500 million cap makes Uss eligiblento be discussed on cnbc
"Peregrine..Keeping rats alive!"
YEEhaw
go pphm
PPHM boring again today.
the bid/ask at the moment of 1.93/1.95 is a thing of beauty
ÇJ.... Just the saddest news.... Very deepest condolences to your family.
why the clear dip in after hours yesterday? the bid/ask this morning isn't correcting it..
piers morgan just got canned
as usual, somebody knows somethin'
i'm just goin' along for the ride....
750 at 1.31 = 1.80
wannabe..
i consider your comments to be the most consistently impartial on this board, as well as being the most logical.
what is your most current view of where pphm is at vs. where it could be, good and bad, over the next 6-18 months?
darn it, MD...i was hoping you'd move the market like Cramer
hard to believe a guy with his spotty record actually moves the market.
not much action today for a stock that's going to the moon tomorrow...
yeah, and Zare thinks we'll announce a partnership before the bell...
john...the manipulation certainly has a stitch of realism...
i'm having lots of interwebs trouble toady...something is screwed up, but it's not isolated to peregrineinc..
krak...
the pros with contacts for inside info will play their hands in the next few days and let us know.
it's all..for lack of a nicer term... rigged... i don't know how anybody here can argue that it's not. when the pros are ready for it to run, it'll run. when they want to do a bear attack with no risk of getting burned, they attack. they rinse and repeat (like 30 times already with pphm). eventually, if the pros decide the science is ok and the patents are safe, it flies.
it ain't rocket science. i decided a long time ago that i can take the heat in kitchen.... most long-timers here know the dance.
the suspense is killing me, but every monday is fun, isn't it?
Peregrine...please help...

if a deal is about to happen, we'll go up. if we go down, we'll know a deal is not imminent.
DD posted this on Biotech Values board...
"Breakthrough Therapy Designation scorecard for first 113 applications: 30% approved, 60% rejected (or withdrawn), and 10% pending. Source: http://csdd.tufts.edu/news/complete_story/pr_ir_jan_feb_2014"
we have reason to be optimistic, but beware...BTD and Fast Track are far from being guarantees of success....
'ouch' was in response to 1.80....
'round and 'round she goes, where she stops nobody knows
