Thanks Matilda for the information. This is a great example of the potential for the LLEG project.

WAY OT: but what the hey its the holidays, ZZZZZZZZZ:)
Hope everyone enjoys the upcoming 2 weeks and when things begin a new, hopefully the overall "negative waves" which the entire nation seems to be exuding (in Odd Ball's words from the movie "Kelly's Heroes) will have changed to more positive types.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all,

Same to you V.

Way to go MB good read. Thanks. Nez
(Sorry about the previous fowled up posts I had something stuck under a key on my key board.)
digi, I just wanted to take a moment to make sure I thanked you for bringing to my attention (as well as others) about the part AUTO is playing here with LLEG and also where to find the site to learn more about the basics of how it works. To the best of my recollection you were the first to offer such DD about AUTO to the board and you have been consistent IMO with continual commentary about AUTO. For me anyway your work and posts have been beneficial and enlightening. Maybe it is time to re-post the web site for AUTO and emphasize the importance of reading all the drop down menus that are (or were) found there. I haven’t been to in awhile.
Thanks again and GLTU,
Nez
OT: Spence, Thanks for your PM & I sincerly wish the same for you as well as all other people. I appreciated the message and I thank you. Sorry about taking so long to acknowledge it.
I wish you and yours a happy holiday season,
Nez
Veritas, I enjoy your posts very much but IMO this post you made to Penys is really well done and I thank you and I imagine many of the true LLEG believers do as well.
IMO you not only have a way with words but also the way you organize and express your thoughts always make for enjoyable reading. I also like the respectful manner you consistently use when addressing all people. You are a unique person in the current times and IMO you are a person to be emulated.
Nez
We sure are!

I second that V, in spite of the difficulties of the past year/years, we all have much to be thankful for. Many times IMO, we don't realize just how much.
Your efforts are inspirational V and I know many LLEG investors are grateful for your presence on the board.
Thanks,
Nez
Well said Sage. I wonder how many ignore lists undy is on?

OT: Order Protection for Investors of OTC Securities
Can anyone provide any insight about how the trading pattern of LLEG may be effected by this rule change, if at all? I ask as from mylimited understanding, I understand AUTO is a pre-programed trading system.
TIA,
Nez
Order Protection for Investors of OTC Securities
November 11, 2008 Pink OTC Markets Inc., the leading electronic inter-dealer quotation system, trading technology and financial information provider for over-the-counter (OTC) securities, is pleased to announce a FINRA rule change effective November 11, 2008 for Limit Order Protection in the OTC marketplace.
Starting today, broker-dealers that handle customer limit orders in OTC equities, whether received from their own customers or from another member firm, cannot trade ahead of customer limit orders. This means that a firm cannot trade for its own account at a price equal to or better than a customer limit order without also executing the customer order.
This specialist-type obligation on OTC broker-dealers to execute customer limit orders price for price and share for share brings one of the most significant regulatory safeguards of trading exchange-listed securities to investors in the OTC market. This significant rule change will result in improved quality of executions for investors and improved OTC market efficiency.
Limit Order Protection will contribute substantially to transparency in the market, resulting in better and fairer executions for investors, as well as standardize the regulation of trading in listed and OTC securities. In recognition of this important advance in market structure, Pink OTC Markets is extending a free Real-Time Level 2 Quotes trial to issuers of securities in the Pink Sheets Current Information market tier for the next month. Investors using www.pinksheets.com will have access to real-time market maker quotes in order to better monitor the execution of their limit orders.

I assume the land is doing nothing by way of generating city income?
Can any one tell me where the bio-mass facility is located on the map found @ the link below and is it in an area which would be exempt from taxes under the "city elders" plan?

DS,I don't understand what the reasoning "The Board" in Henniker would have for adopting an approach of "just stalling." The phrase just stalling indicates a motive. I would think a party that is just stalling is trying to buy more time for something useful or to gain an advantage. Wouldn't it be logical for "The Board" to clear old issues from the list of things to do rather than keeping issues around in a "stall" mode wasting time and attention?
What are your thoughts?
TIA & JMO,
Nez

b1000000,
IMO your message highlights a shift toward broadening the discussion in Berlin. There seems to now be a willingness to examine all aspects of the Berlin project regardless of ones position either pro or con. Your post underscores this as the people of Henniker have already decided to openly explore the aspects of collateral benefits from bio-mass energy production. IMO the more inclusive the discussion is, the more all people will benefit from an increased willingness to seriously examine positive aspects stemming from the clean energy concept of alternative energy production from Bio-Mass as proposed by LLEG as well.
Laidlaw Energy Group has applied to the Henniker Zoning Board for permission to build a 20-megawatt plant on Old Concord Road on land owned by Granite State Forest Products. According to Laidlaw's application, the plant would burn wood chips to generate electricity for the regional power grid. The chips would also produce steam that would be used as an energy source for Merrimac Log Homes, a business on Old Concord Road.

Luke 23:43. (KJV)
Greetings all,
I have always been curious how others feel about a passage from the Bible which to me contains the greatest statement we could ever hear addressed to us. What a Blessing it is to finally ask others for their opinions and thoughts about this on a public message board!
The passage I am interested about is Luke 23:43. (KJV)
It gives me great peace to imagine how the “good thief” felt when he heard Christ say to him, “Today shalt thou be with me in paradise.”
I wonder if this passage affects others the way it does me.
TIA for any feedback as one day I hope I will reach a point in my life where due to constant prayer, I was living life as if I were hearing these words ceaselessly!
Viva Gesu,
Nez
It is really something to make a post like this and not worry about prefacing it with OT or for that fact to live in a country where we can make a post like the ones found here on the “ETERNITY” board without fear of our doors being kicked in and going to jail or a “re-education camp!” In spite of the times we live in, we are still very fortunate. I know I for one need to remember this far more often.
Thanks to all responsible for following the calling to make this board possible and of course a special thanks to the MODS.
ALL GLORY, HONOR AND PRAISE TO YOU ALMIGHTY FATHER FOREVER AND EVER AND EVER!
Thanks Sage for your unique idea for exploring new sources for insight and DD as well as sharing your findings with the board.
Also TD23, thank you for committing your time to helping out with the "moderating duties."

Hi Gman,
Panic seems to be the buzz word of late. I wonder how people are going to feel in a month when confidence stabilizes.
I don't like these wild swings anymore than anyone else but I would like it a lot less to dump now, down here and see things rebound later.
That will be IMO the time when we see many kicking themselves. The people who bail now solidify their loss and then there is no hope for seeing rebounds which history tells us do happen.
JMO,
Nez
Maybe I missed it in the past but last night during the McCain/Pauline Fox interview, was the first time for me to hear the Republican ticket use Biomass in their list of "Alternate Energy's" which they are going to be supporting. Obviously the Democratic ticket already supports Biomass but now I agree regardless of which party wins Biomass is going to be included in our country's move to "Alternate Energy." The post that called investment in LLEG a win - win regardless of which side wins I can now honestly say "I agree." This is a win - win from the political point of view.
JMO,
Nez
CM,
I am not one of the more knowledgeable posters here by any stretch of the imagination but I have been here as long if not a bit longer than you and I too feel based on my own DD this is the real deal.
I had the same worries as everyone else but until I realized this is a long-term investment I was really worried.
Then when I heard the news that this is a company that has its product already sold and sold without a "locked in" price, I shed all concerns.
IMO and based on the bashing of the past there are those out there who were hoping to get their own company/company’s that will be LLEG competitors established BEFORE LLEG. IMO the absence of many of the old guard opposition as well as the tangible drop off in the material quoted by the bashers, indicates to me that is all this stock needs to get online is to be patient as the paperwork hurdles are overcome and finally finishes. Don’t know if this helps or makes much sense as I am not a writer.
JMO,
Nez
I see over 6M shares traded and we haven't had even a bump up. Still @ .0008 with bid still @ ,0007. Is this like the other day where over 100M took us to .0014 and just a faction of that dropped us back to pre-PR levels?
Can anyone give me a reason why this may be?
TIA,
Nez
New Energy,
No worries here, my head has always been up since I came on board! (at times it was a very frustrated upheld head but I feel there has been positive progress as well as follow through and plenty of reason to continue believing in MB) I just thought it useful to remind folks of the maximum effort we saw over the summer by those who had very similar points of opposition about LLEG. The effort was incredible and I am not sure new investors were aware that what seemed to be a large number in opposition were in reality a very small group and that group has gone silent.
I too have not sold a share and have continued buying and will again do so as the opportunities present themselves.
I agree with you that LLEG will be victorious!
JMO,
Nez
JMO, but lets not forget there seems to have been and may very well still be some who want to see LLEG fail because they are tying to get another company into Berlin. It seems we have forgot the level of hate and the monumental desire for those apparently in the Berlin area who have been or at least were doing everything they could to make LLEG look bad. Those same people had the same chance as the rest of us to load up when we were under .0009 and less.
When I remember the incredible amount of effort they put into hurting LLEG and MB I can't believe they would have simply given up on the latest news.
Like has been said there are all types of sellers including those willing to spend money to bring LLEG as much trouble as possible.
I find it strange they have suddenly gone silent instead of switching tactics.
JMO,
Nez
for what it is worth, I have heard some people with ST say they had done ACH transfers with ST and they can't use the money due to restrictions which apparently make one wait 3 days before they buy stocks under $4.00. (I guess this is if they don't have cash on balance)
If this is true I know a few who are simply waiting for cash to clear before coming in. This last bit of news and the article was the thing these people were waiting for before joining us.
I have ST but I always wired in cash but now they offer ACH at no cost but with restrictions. You also can't use the ACH cash to cover margin calls.
JMO, and FWIW,
Nez

If others are getting e-mail alerts this late in the day I wonder if this may reach others who until they open their e-mail now were not aware of the news because they were too distracted from todays overall market movement or watching the vote and subsequent "foodfight." Might act as a delayed 2nd pr?
Any thoughts?

MANCHESTER, NEW HAMPSHIRE--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- September 29, 2008—Laidlaw Energy Group, Inc. (Ticker Symbol “LLEG”), through its affiliate, Laidlaw Berlin BioPower, LLC (“Laidlaw”), announced today that it has reached agreement with Public Service Company of New Hampshire (“PSNH”) on the material terms of a contemplated 20-year power purchase agreement for Laidlaw’s Berlin, New Hampshire Biomass Energy Project (the “Berlin Project”). The agreement between the parties contemplates the sale of 100% of the Berlin Project’s electric output, capacity and renewable energy certificates to PSNH over the 20-year term. The Berlin Project is expected to have a gross capacity of 66 megawatts, making it one of the largest biomass-energy plants in North America.
Commenting on the arrangement, Laidlaw President and CEO Michael Bartoszek stated, “This is an important milestone in the development of the Berlin Project. Having a guaranteed source of revenue over the term of this agreement from a highly credit-worthy customer like PSNH adds tremendous value to this project. We look forward to being an important part of New Hampshire’s energy future as the state shifts toward renewable electricity generation to meet its Renewable Portfolio Standard and greenhouse gas commitments.”
The agreement between the parties is subject to the execution of a definitive power purchase agreement, as well as approval by the New Hampshire Public Utilities Commission.
“The development of new native sources of renewable energy is essential for New Hampshire’s energy future,” said Gary Long, PSNH president and chief operating officer. “The purchase of power from the Berlin Project will help us to meet the requirements of the state’s Renewable Portfolio Standard and add to our portfolio of CO2-neutral energy sources.”
About the Berlin, NH Biomass-Energy Project
The Berlin project involves the conversion of the former Fraser Paper pulp mill site into a highly advanced biomass-to-energy project that is expected to export approximately 60 megawatts of renewable energy to the New England power grid and utilize over 700,000 tons of clean wood biomass chips per annum. The project involves a capital investment of approximately $100 million and is expected to directly employ 40 skilled workers and create over 500 indirect jobs. Once completed, the plant is expected to be among the largest and most environmentally advanced biomass-energy plants in North America.
About Public Service Company of New Hampshire

Ron,
I agree with your take on the charts especially at these levels and with so many out there not interested in ling term but more interested in lessening the pain from other hard hit investments of late. People who did not usually "flip" IMO are willing to do so now because of the markets.

ron,
I was thinking that everyone was focusing of a "deadline" as if that were the end. IMO I disagree that even if more time is needed and especially since MB had the foresight to pre-sign one, this news further IMO, seems to take some of the urgency off of the deadline. There have already but so-called deadlines which went over but here we are today with more indications that are good.
Berlin is not the only project MB has been speaking of nor is Elliotville.
