I like your idea the best. Ceo says I have no comment files to buy 200,000 or what ever size at the market, would be best defense imo
Kind of odd we get a positive piece of pr and we go red.
Swami hope ur right I got hit on a handful more at 7.25. Forgot I still had the offer out there. Not worried would think with cotton $ and a few others may have a chance at matching the burn if it's 3.9 mil again when numbers come out in December.
We should be low enough now for some kid in his basement from stock twits to say he is seeing a strong buy breakout signal and u can sell up 2 bucks tomorrow afternoon. Hoping the dr has a press release in his draw that has the same impact.
And may stock twits have our back. Thanks for the heads up mil, these guys are more important than Heyward to the movement of this stock. ( at this time) Hope we have enough of a following when twits moves on to the new girlfriend. Long Here.
How much of this uplift do you guys think is increased firm outlook vs Eli and his merry band of soes bandits? Haven't heard that term in years, even had to look up the def again..small order execution system
Can't top that one but the one I was thinking about is here...
Got to be a good bust joke in there
I find it's interesting Monday we go up .70 cents on no news
and amazingly a big announcemt comes out Tuesday morning and we go up only .13 cents. I think the news will be big down the road 2016, from the announcement but more concerned about how these people are getting the news earlier. Long here and patient. No other choice.
Hock thanks for the link, I watched the interview and looked like some nice publiciity for Apnd with the Street. They have a link on the web page that asks if anyone would like a copy of the research report they have put together. They send it to you in 30 seconds. A 5 page report. Boy was I surprised I get the research report and they have an out right sell on the stock. I guess the analyst didn't see the interview.
Sign me up for pcr class. Read their website and other stuff on the web, not sure if I am further along than when I started reading. Ha
Should we look at this purchase as a huge positive from a cash flow perspective? This company has been cash strapped from the start and now lays out 1.5mm for a purchase. Does this mean they are spending money they know is coming in the door that has not been reported yet? Hope that's the case. (I am all for the purchase, especially if it helps us get into prescription marking biz.
Is the smoke cloak going to be a monthly fee per store like a home security system? If that's the case what would u pay per month? $100 per month, $500 per month., $1,000 per month...$1200 a year for security, $6,000, 12,000 per month,More? We would need a lot of stores, and business to sign up I would guess.
Issue is we still have no idea what the revenue is from any of these deals. The 4 contracts in progress from the govt were only 2-3 million , hope the others are worth a lot more. ( I know they just signed a 5th deal). The snake cloak they have been working on for 3-4 years with this firm.
Let's hope the golden cross isn't a golden shower. Lol
What's amazing is how much work must have gone into getting to where Apdn is now with the cotton industry. The article states they have been working together for 7 years. Sounds like the concept phase has been thoroughly tested and we should be entering the revenue stage. That's got to be a lot of cash investment with little return that hopefully will be changing very soon.
I hear the frustration with not knowing what the pricing structure of any of these deals are. It's a leap of faith up to this point that the in roads they are speaking about are actually happening. We just signed our 5th govt contract and a nice jump in revenues keeps feeding my hope that progress is being made.. Granted we are coming from a low base.
Anyone have access to the slides from the presentation. They said they would be on the website but I can't open the url. Big boys are not investing in a concept company. We are slowly methodicalljy changing the reputation to a real global corporation with multi billion dollar revenue firms as global partners. The foundation is being built brick by brick. Big investors still have time with the stock price so low. Going to be a fun 2016.
Ever look at a balloon with a little tiny hole in it and each day the balloon gets a little smaller? You do now. Hoping the news from the earnings report whenever iit is this month pumps some needed air back in the balloon.
Checked out the Dreyfus commodities website. They are a global power in agriculture products with 64 Billion in revenue last year. Can't be bad if we have these guys hawking our wares around the globe. Mc shakey good heads up on the good string of pr's and than the dilution follow up potential. Seen that movie before. Hope urr wrong. Back to 5 cents..1/2 way back.
Protecting the New York pot industry has to give us street cred.
http://www.pimacott.com Just saw this website I assume products are available now?
Just dug this up, wish there was a trail of money behind it (don't see it) but people on here much better at sniffing it out than me. This article from before my time 2011, but the company listed Nissha on the website. http://search.nissha.com/search?site=44P0P3N2&charset=UTF-8&group=1&design=2&query=applied+dna&submit.x=0&submit.y=0 Hope u can open it.
Check the apdn website latest investor slides on there now. One interesting point Mil/gov they are estimating 3.5mm in revenue for 2015. http://www.adnas.com/sites/default/files/applied_dna_sciences_investor_presentation_may_2015.pdf
8 years of work also comes with 8 years of bills and 8 years of dilution to help pay for those bills. We have the first sign that apdn has been able to show some monetization for all the work. The early believers of the stock finally see a pattern of revenue to keep the faith but obviously the other non believers don't feel the need
to jump in now based on what's available in the public news.

Does anyone know these guys....are they competition or on our team? www.selectadna.co.uk/about-us ...
One downside to being listed on the Nasdaq we are exposed to a lot more potential traders. Some players may not be able to play in bulletin board stocks that now can get involved. Short term, the market makers can bully the price down, until we have proof that we are on a solid path to profitability. Obviously 1.5 mm is not scaring any of the shorters. Not giving out guidance doesn't help this situation. Long term being listed is exactly what we need to go big time. All we can hope for is a few positive news stories about one of our 5 or 6 pilots to get a foothold. Chance of another dilution this year is obviously stronger than the upside of the pilots at this time. I think this will change, just a press release waiting game now...
Can any of you guys explain whats happening with DLA. Seems like they are going forward with using DNA internally but not working with Apdn going forward? Is this a great public relations endeavor but will not be financially accretive?
25% increase per qtr, when in 2015 do we start sniffing breakeven? That's when the dilution fear will be lifted. With our earnings and 800 million shares outstanding where do u think this is going?
Whats the deal with their cash situation? using the suggested Monday number of 900,000 in revenue and using that as a guide for the rest of the year, and say they generate 3.3 million in revs will that cover the burn rate? My biggest fear is not r/s which will happen (in my opinion, No choice), but getting diluted. Whats the thoughts on getting diluted because they need more money?
The r/s is a smart move that mgmt has no choice and needs to make. We need a certain price in order for institutions to get involved which at the end of day is what is needed to get the price moving. No institution is playing around with a stock trading at 10 cents.
California company provided the serum...Larry Zeitlin, the president of Mapp Biopharmaceutical, described ZMapp as quot;a cocktail of monoclonal antibodiesquot; and said in an email that the company was “in the midst of an intense effort to help address the Ebola outbreak in West Africa.”
Kevin Whaley, the CEO, told NBC San Diego that the company is 11 years old and has nine employees. He said it has been working on the Ebola treatment for 10 years. He declined an on-camera interview, saying that he wanted the focus to be on the Ebola victims in Africa and the two Americans who contracted the virus.
.
a billion shares outstanding and under a 1mm dollars in revenue per qtr, where do you think the pps would go?...buyer of the potential but they need to monetize the technology and haven't proven that SO FAR....hope that changes this qtr
lets talk about getting to 6 cents first which hasn't happened in 10 years
that's an impressive list of holders....especially for a penny stock. should make us holders feel a little better
anyone have any color what mgphf and the firm they invested in will be doing together?
does anyone have color on what apdn charges for their services? amount of customers and contracts doubled in the qtr and revenues weren't a record? they are dealing with huge firms in cotton and wool and the us military and brinks carriers, not small firms how is the revenue not exploding??? can anyone shed some light?
anyone have a context to put what this technology costs to use? is it like Gillette and u give away the razor and make it on the blades? meaning do they make little on putting the dna in the product and make more money each time the stamp gets checked?
boys did u see the front page of the wsj today..Thursday...bottom middle column....amazon having trouble with resellers....whole article and I hope someone from applied is reading about firms doing business thru amazon with counterfeit goods. they cut off a firm doing 200 million in biz because no one can control the pills, electronics etc..to figure out whats real.. amazon has to shut them down...google the article..
