I think it was an automatic removal due to the political comparison
You too! Hug those kids! Hubby too! :)
We are well aware of the trademarking prosecutions for various trademarks CVSI is pursuing. I`m not concerned. Are you?
IMO, there appears to be an absence of a non-compete clause between the companies,E.G. no restriction us use of names / history / etc. CW was grown into a public company, and recognition long before the SB cannabis products were using the Charlotte Figi story. Remember, they wanted a clear separation shown to market CBD. Yes they stayed in the background with their THC products. Today's environment is changing, so it appears that story is not the right of Charlotte's web, but the brothers. Logos are shared, Stanley Brothers is on the Charlotte Web products; gree publicity for Stanley Brothers brands..
Brilliant move for free advertising, and instant brand recognition.
"well played" or "well deserved" term doesn't matter, the point is, IMHO the success of CW was leveraged, it was a brilliant business move on their part.
I think you mentioned to me that the brothers has to sell to fall below 50% ownership. I really didn't see more selling after that.
I'm not discussing any other stock on this board.
It is surprising what a little DD can produces.
Most folk stop when they have enough support for their POV, difficult to dig deeper for some.
"Well Played", for me, means that the Stanley boys made sure that in all, they would personally benefit from Charlotte's Web's success. TheStanleyBrithers.com clearly claims RECreate, Charlotte's Web and Stanley Brothers Cannabis as their brands. Their website clearly states their involvement with Charlotte Figi. Appears they may continue to capitalize on this. Is CW okay with it?
The way I see it is Charlotte's Web was a jumping board for the brothers to build their other businesses. They cashed out some shares a while ago ostensibly to bring their total ownership to less than 50%.
so, yes, well played.
This reports is from 03/11/2020. Hopefully the most recent guideline will be published soon.
I always appreciate your words of *wisdom*
I did some digging, and the reason I was confused is Charlotte's Web brand has the same logo as Stanley Brothers Brand (that web design) and the brand Charlotte's Web, on the web page and products states Charlotte's Web, then Stanley Brothers below.
Reading the 2018 financials, I got a bit lost, but then with more digging, Stanley Brothers is a privately owned business, so I would suspect that RECreate is owned by them.
Interesting would be the continuation or separation of logos and brands, unless there is some sort of an agreement between Stanley Brothers and Charlotte's Web for a set period of time. Sharing of the history.
At this point, I will have to agree with GE_Jim, as well played by the Stanley Brothers.
5/22 amd 6/10, probably need the cash flow... Tax bill was huge.
But he is gone, so I would like to see more sales, need those shares for us to buy.
Well the BOD were issued options, that is what you saw yesterday. Mona JR sold roughly $32K worth of shares.
Other than that, what is there to say?
I have a lot of reading to do. I just have to map out where all of these companies under the Charlotte's Web holding umbrella lie and how their finances are interwoven. Which companies are actually part of the shareholders ownership and which are privately held.
From what I can tell it's still under the Charlotte's Web Holdings.CWEB.TO umbrella
my edit
We the citizens of the United States are calling for the FDA's overdue guidelines on Full Spectrum Hemp Extract (FSHE) which contains a naturally occuring CBDfor use in Supplement products. Numerous studies, as well as anoctodal reports from thousands of individuals, domestically and abroad, have repetitively outlined the benefits and more importantly the safety of Full Spectrum Hemp Extract (FSHE) us in 75mg daily or 5mg/kg daily. We are asking that our wishes, those of congress and the many state governments be respected and guidance on FSHB products be expedited. Industrial Hemp Products are harmless and have been beneficial to mankind throughout history.
As there are many bad actors in this field, and only 2 or 3 companies who routinely test their products for safety, and already label their products per FDA guidelines for other supplements, as consumers we request guidelines for FSHE supplements. 1 or 2 of these companies have their FSHE Self-Affirmed GRAS certified. So we understand there is a safety process good companies already use.
We understand your concern with CBD isolates and the concerns with adding CBD or FSHE to food and beverage and feel guidelines can include a temporary ban of use of Isolates in both supplements and food and beverage as well as FSHE in food and beverage, until more data is available.
We feel a Full Spectrum Hemp Extract (FSHE) supplement should be able to state a delivery method and dosage under 5mg/kg and should be treated no different than the melatonin supplements or Omega Oils sold legal in all retail channels in all 50 states.
True that. Glad you understood what I was trying to type. I cannot type with my non-dominant hand.
Oh, I know I'm in a mood, so in won't do anything for a while.
Best option now is to read this board once a week....
really?
FSHE/CBD and the medical/pharma community.... An UpHill battle
I just spent 5 days/4 nights at the Hotel Hospital treating a bacterial hand infection resulting from a sliver and exposure to mountain lake water. At admission the M.D. stated I could take my PlusCBD capsules; the floor nurses took them away stating Pharmacy Management stated FSHE/CBD is a schedule 1 drug, and my taking it for medical reasons specified, is denied while in house. The floor pharmacist agreed with me that FSHE was basically a schedule 4 or better and saw no issue or interactions that I could take them, his conversations with Pharma Management fell on deaf ears. My surgeon, the rotating surgeon and 2 P.A.s, saw no issue, but their hands were tied because the pharmacy set the hospital policy!
While there, I was able to educate and tout PlusCBD to several nurses and the floor pharmacist. 3 of the 4 MDs were familiar with it.
In the end, I had to smuggle some in with requested items from home and keep them hidden. Swelling reduced within 2 hours of taking 2 gold gel caps.
Bottom line.... Educating Medical providers and overcoming Pharma bias is an uphill battle.
all resolutions but the RS were approved
Well, I am disappointed, appears this stock will stay in the hands of OTC MMs, shorts and players. I was so hoping we would leave the cesspool of OTC.
The unvested shares have to be shown, per comment, I think your thoughts are the price already accounts for the unvested shares. Or are you stating CVSI gets hit twice? AT disclosure of unvested shares as well as again when they vest? That seems to be the thesis of many posters on this board.
I`m learning. But I was responding and correcting statement made on share volume difference.... 10x v 5.7x between the stocks poster mentioned
Good response!

It's SpaceLady, not Space. :)
I don't know if the counter claims will hold up in court, but I know it will be interesting to follow the trial. Taking this quote:
How do you know the FDA doesn't have their studies? Proof please
I think defending the CW brand will be interesting to follow. As Charlotte's Web is a plant, apparently that name cannot be trademarked. we'll see how this lawsuit develops
It appears that anybody that uses the Charlotte Web hybrid doesn't need CW's permission to list the plant their labels.
Can CW rename the plant?
Regarding CVSI ad campaigns...
While stuck in hospital I've watched some TV with I rarely do, but I noticed that many of the ads were retro style. Maybe serious is on the right track with this.
Not covid-19...
You didn't ask for my thoughts but I'm going to share. I am thinking that possibly CW made a blunder in naming one of their hybrid has Charlotte's Web. Looks like there's no trademark protection. It will be interesting to follow this case
Just a matter of CBD Interest... a sliver in my thumb went awry and I found myself in the hospital yesterday for hand surgery. Luckily I had some gold drops in the car that I brought in with me to use instead of Oxycodone. The surgeon and his PA are okay with my using it and wish they could recommend it, but they can't at this time. We need to get more studies in so that the attitude changes for in the hospitals.
Thank you for your postings don't forget to IM me your baby registry during happy hour
Is that the Canadian equivalent?
Good thought, and an interesting hypothesis...
Good morning. I believe the idea of using Nicorette and a CBD product was someone else's idea, I just had to address it.
I don't think that CV007 is *novel*, as far as a nicotine gum goes, it is just a reformulation. However... what would be interesting to me is how CV007 is manufactured... EG will it be a small piece of gum, or a WAD? If targeting CT cessation, I would think they have to consider not only the nicotine, but the *feel*of the constant chew of tobacco; E.G. treat both the nicotine dependance, as well as breaking the habit of the chew.
I don't think they are not targeting the vape market, or e-cigs with nicotine.
There is much to be said for oral gratification in an addition - be it the chew, the smoke, or the texture of comfort foods, that gratification needs to be replaced to have the habit broken.
So, maybe, it is not so novel of an idea, but a new application??
GLTUT
me too!
interesting concept. But the director who headed the FDA at that point is gone. Can he be added as a private citizen? Pockets are surely lines in gold and diamonds.
