Got it. Thanks for the insight
Not the only thing but I'm sure we'll get an answer from ST or GLG since they've done their homework and I'm sure they are focused on more than just reverse splits.
Kind of what I thought.
I like it
Hey ST and GLG what do Titan and Auris have in common?
A Lion doesn't concern himself with the opinion of sheep
That's an excellent question. I'd like to know that as well. Location, etc.
I don't believe the board of directors has even half the number of shares this board and those close(friends, family etc) have. Still think they find a way to get everything they want passed.
Got it.
If you say so
Let's do that. Probably not smoking gun but what I find interesting is that when you search patents for tips or robotic end effectors for micro line and do the same for Ethicon it's amazing the difference betweekn the two. One has next to nothing and the other is making a whole bunch to work with highly articulable arms. Some of the drawings really speak to me to.
I've seen them both up close and personal and one would have been big in the 80s and the other looks like something Apple or Google would create.
Good move. Thank you
Stop already! They need money and that's it. Medtronic on last count was on their 11th or 12th iteration. This is a surgical robot, not a fidget spinner and they trade on the OTC. Also while your at it why don't you do us all a favor and pull down Vipul Patels likeness under your screen name. You're insulting a pro.
Just my opinion but I think they will. They are both public companies. It's what they know. I think they pull from investment funds from each of their companies to get them to a point and then use public funds to raise the real big money. Imagine an IPO from a company that consists of google and J and J?
I am with you
Why do you think they are holding a vote on the reverse split rather than just doing it? This concerns me. The prudent move(I think) would've been to just do it, use the AGM to explain next steps and not let price flounder in between now and the vote. All of that being said, they could surprise us with some big news they've been sitting on(my hope) post split.
Why because some guy who longmoney talked to fed him the same information you could find out in a 10-15 minute internet search of Titan? Nobody knows what is going on at Titan except for Titan. The way it should be in this competitive market.
I concur
Not a chance. They'd never get uplisted because of the dilution
Got it and with you on that for sure. This feels like they are finally stepping up to the plate to take their hacks. I gotta believe they start showing their hand more too. Especially with an up list, they'll have to
Excellent point. Timing is the key. I wonder if IREP patent approval will move the needle?
I don't think they put this out for a vote unless they are positive it will pass
While I agree it must be done because of some missteps in the past coupled with MM's shorting, I don't agree with this being about desperation. They have a best in class robot.
Rocko you're like Chris Farley from the Chippendales skit with Kevin Nealon telling you no, your just not good enough to be a chippendale but still won't give it up. Verb has moved on already to Auris. Deal with it.
Got ya. Thanks Adrock
Is that something that could be done to clean up the shares prior to including them in IPO? Just asking hypothetically
Nice post. Also think this is the last of Titan in Canada. I bet they move operations to US shortly.
Very good point
Interesting so he's a Covidien/Medtronic guy. Barrx sold to Covidien and isn't ev3 a Covidien platform?
The only thing I'll say is this feels a little early for this move to me. Also, who is this guy John Schellhorn who is up for vote to Board of Directors?
I'm sorry investment firm.....er market maker
I'm sorry investment firm.
Agreed. Transenterix is an as expensive or more expensive me too. Titan has the goods. Is it possible they go 1:20 reverse split, at $6.00 a share they immediately go for remaining 70 million and take the initial dilutive hit and then big money comes in with them having a clear path and blowing through milestones. McNally did mention and advanced prototype. I would think with an advanced prototype you have a pretty good idea of what you got.
Well ya played us buddy. Nice work. Would love to know who you are and relationship to Titan? Love how you tried to get an idea of voting shares
I don't see them selling a single unit on their own
Old new guys. Get over it! Embrace the grind. Tech is there. Market is there. They are still in line developmentally with most of the key players and now(if you couldn't tell), they have a guy at the top who has a plan and is executing. Later this year and as they get closer all this dilution won't be a big deal. Someone will pay some real big dollars if this new team executes. Robot is nearly done. Cheer up

"For the letter
Confirm Microline as the end effector supplier.
Linkedin shows engineers who describe building surgical tips for Titan Sport . Also the CEO (JOSHI) of microline discusses his experience working with both transenterix and Titan on his linked in page. dd: courtesy of Mr Rock Taco. "
So surgitech, it's not one employee going rogue. The CEO was concerned enough to put into writing that Titan can not divulge but forgot to send out the inter office memo and in fact, divulged it himself? They are "a" supplier. I don't believe they are the only supplier. Also, if this is what Titan is bringing to the table for Gen 1 how do you feel about your investment? Verb/Ethicon is on record that they will have advanced instrumentation with their robot. If you've been paying attention Ethicon has been acquiring multiple advanced energy and tools companies. If Titan comes to market around the same time as these companies and is only offering a small cost savings and promises of being multi purpose but can't execute on that like competitors because they don't have nearly as broad a portfolio of advanced instrumentation how are they to compete? Also of note, look again at McNallys background, who was on his board and why Perry Genova was brought in.
If your referencing the CEO you should answer my question below? Why would we take his word for it? Can't have it both ways.
Definitely should be pinned to the board. Thanks
