Re CBQI.......
It's moving up, 17% so far, from .025...
It has done this twice before in the recent past for about a double both times.
could it have another double in it?
FWIW...the chart shows.....not quite yet, but getting ready...:)
Big news on XKEM today and it gapped up, perhaps too much..
Now at .24 and falling off from an open of .35, but......
With an OS of only about 3M,(last I saw), it could move very fast.
Thanks tc....yes indeed, I have been highjacked.
It shows up in Spybot as CoolWWWSearch.....
I downloaded the program from your link,(had to install WinZip), and ran it.
It appears that this CoolWWWSerch is a zip file(s) and this program either fixed, deleted or changed about 14 entries.
This, all without reading the WinZip info,(four printed pages), which I'll do and then run it again...
Either it's fixed or I'm on the right path....thanks.
LOADER.EXE problem.......
Lately, I keep getting the error message, "this problem has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down."
When I click on the details button I see this;
LOADER caused an invalid page fault in module LOADER.EXE at
016f:00401343.
When I go to RUN and type in LOADER.EXE it just shows the error message again.
When I type that file name in Search-files and folders, it shows a file,(application?) named loader, but when I click on it I only get that error message again.
I also went to my Win98SE CD to see if I could find LOADER.EXE and try to extract it, but it doesn't show up there.
Two other things are going on that may be connected;
1. MSN Messenger won't stay up.
When I log on to the web my email alerts window pops up, as it should, but within seconds I get the MSN report-this-error message.
I do and Messenger/email icon shuts down.
2...I use MSN.com as my Home Page and lately, it keeps being replaced by Global Finder.
I go to Internet Options and change it back again, but the soon, Global Finder comes back.
I went to Find Files and Folders, found a file with a similar name to Global Finder, deleted it, but it doesn't seem to make any difference.
It doesn't show up in Add/Remove Programs.
I've also used RegVac and Spybot, but they don't seem to help.
I don't know if these problems are connected, but they all started at about the same time.
In this post, I've tried to include all that I have done, but apparently it isn't enough.
Any thoughts?
TIA
joepcf, re OZLU.....
If the bands keep coming together, yes, it will move.
Although the bands don't show you which way it will move, the fact that it has been slowly improving indicates an upward movement............Especially if the price breaks through the upper band.......
As for the "next couple of weeks;" You may know how to read the bands better than I.
I can't see trend movement past two or three days, but often the overall-trend fills in that blank...

PTSC filed a 10K today..eom
BEVI(E) has filed a 8K to yet another extension to keep from being delisted.
Today, they are still quoted as BEVIE, so I guess it worked.
On July 1, 2003, BEVsystems International, Inc. (the "Registrant") filed a
notification of its inability to timely file its annual report on Form 10-KSB
for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2003. In its filing, the Registrant stated
that "[t]he compilation, dissemination and review of the information required to
be presented in the Form 10-KSB for the relevant fiscal year has imposed time
constraints that have rendered timely filing of the Form 10-KSB impracticable
without undue hardship and expense to the Registrant." Because the Registrant
has experienced further hardship and time constraints, it was not able to file
the Form 10-KSB within fifteen days after its original June 29, 2003 filing
deadline.
The Registrant announced in a press release that an "E" was affixed to
its trading symbol by the Over-The-Counter Bulletin Board, indicating that it is
delinquent in filing its Form 10-KSB. The Registrant has been orally advised by
representatives of the NASD that it is required to file its Form 10-KSB by
September 8, 2003 or it will be delisted from the Over-The-Counter Bulletin
Board. While the Registrant expects to be able to file its Form 10-KSB prior to
September 8, 2003 in order to maintain its listing on the Over-The-Counter
Bulletin Board, no assurance can be given that it will do so. Should delisting
from the Over-The-Counter Bulletin Board occur, the Registrant's common stock
will be traded on the Pink Sheets which may reduce the liquidity and price of
the common stock.
In addition to the foregoing, the Registrant's quarterly report on
Form 10-QSB for the period ended June 30, 2003 was due August 15, 2003. The
Registrant did not file a Form 12b-25 Notification of Late Filing with respect
to this quarterly report because it did not anticipate being able to undertake
filing the report within five days after the original August 15, 2003 filing
deadline. The Registrant intends to file its Form 10-QSB for the quarter ended
June 30, 2003 soon after it files its Form 10-KSB. These two filings will
reflect changes in the Balance Sheet that are a result of the previously
announced re-structuring of the Registrant.

NOTE: this is a java chart...It will take a bit to download and you have to have Java authorized on your computer.
http://bigcharts.marketwatch.com/javachart/javachart.asp?symb=gmdp&time=&freq=
The charts can show trends, but not predictions.
You can take an interactive chart and set your own trend lines to determine which way it may go, or you can be lazy like me and use Bollinger Bands and candlesticks.
The Bollinger Bands are the two lines above and below the price-line.
When the two bands start bending toward each other it means the price is getting ready to move.(this can be a move up or a move down......depending on the overall trend of the PPS)
The closer the bands get together, the more likely a move is.
When a move starts, the bands start to open up like a flower and the price movement should follow the band,(up or down), until the bands start to run flat again.
In the case of GMDP, the BBs are staying flat while the price jumps around in-between, meaning it's probably not going anywhere.........at least not now.
The candlesticks show me that in the last two days the price has gapped up big time, but sold off to drop back.
I'm not a great believer in MM manipulation, but it looks like someone is really playing with this.....at least in the last two days.
There are a lot more details that can be seen on this chart, but you should be able to see the basics.
If you want to learn more about charting, Bollinger Bands, candlesticks, etc, a good place to start is the Education link at http://www.clearstation.com
PS: I'm really hooked on this type of charting and don't mind helping others. If you have any questions, please, don't hesitate.
(God! I hope that doesn't sound arrogant...:)
PTSC is showing a little buying strength today..
At .045 it's up about 17%
If this keeps up it will be a very good sign and may indicate prolonged upward movement.
IMO, this stock is very under valued at the current PPS.
FWIW...If the buying continues it should be a sign that the shareholders, with their newly acquired shares from their inheritance, aren't selling.
Wise, re IVOC......
At .0009, believe it or not, it's trending up..eom
cwy48, Nothing personal, but had I known this was a Pinksheet stock I never would have looked at it. (a personal rule I have)
When I saw the filings I just assumed they were listed.
FWIW, my bottom/bounce calculations are based on overall market activity as it pertains to that particular stock and has nothing to do with the inner-workings of the company.
Now that you've enlightened me, this stock was delisted on May 22 and the fact that they let that happen at all is a blotch on their credibility.....IMO
Coming back up out of the Pinks is a hundred times harder than it was to get there.....
good luck
cwy48,I didn't have GMDP on my watchlist, but I did a quick workup on it after reading your post.
They did a 1:50 RS last November and have been down trending until now.
This doesn't show on the charts yet, but my numbers show that it's due for a bottom/bounce.......now, at .005
The only troubling aspect here is that they issued 30M shares at the first of this month and show an overall OS of 86M
An OS this big means the PPS won't be as volatile as it would if the OS were about 10M or so, but it still should bounce.
We'll see......
cowboy, I'm using IE 6 W/Hotmail as my email server, but MSN isn't my ISP.
FWIW, I just shut down my graphics accelerator and that seems to help little, but, of course, that creates some problems of its own.....:)
Mike, ADZR is the only stock I have on my list that shows green.
Everything else is either red or not trading..
We only have two days left before end-o-month and I have a feeling it's good time to take a four-day weekend....:)
Is anyone(besides me), having trouble going from one webpage to another.
It's getting so bad, some pages just won't download.
And, Hotmail, (my main email), is hit and miss and sometime won't load at all......I've sent dozens of those error reports that popup when Hotmail has a problem.
FWIW, I've just downloaded Tweakmaster,(recommended by pcpitstop), and am still in the process of experimenting with their options.
But, hey!..........what's going on?
TIA
re APOA...
I already show about a quarter-million shares traded, appatently pre-opening.
it's hard to tell, but they appear to be selling
re: UDW..at .70 is up about 600% in the last four months.
I just heard a little blurb on this and haven't had a chance to look at it myself.......so far.
Something about a Bill coming up in Congress...(next week?)
Wise, FWIW, anytime I hear of a company having anything to do with Flordia, especially if they are headquartered there, my first assumption is that they are a bunch of crooks...:)
I donno what it is, ......drugs I guess...
They even seem to be worse than those companies in Las Vegas.
At least the Nevada corps give you a score card...:)
I'm with Linchuck.....a good day to get some stuff done around the house.
APOA news......
August 26, 2003
APO Health, Inc. (OTC:APOA) reported negative OPS (Operational-cashflow Per Share) for its quarter ended June 30, 2003 and StockDiagnostics.com has downgraded its OPS Rating to '3'from its previous OPS Rating of '2'.
The OPS RatingTM downgrade was based on APO Health's recently filed Cash Flow Statements for its quarter ended June 30, 2003. The company's computed OPS TM (Operational-cashflow Per Share) for the quarter was $-0.01 per share as compared to $0.01 per share for the comparable year earlier quarter. OPS for the most recent 12 months ended June 30, 2003 was $0.03 per share as compared to $0.03 per share for the 12 months ended June 30, 2002.
The shares of APO Health's were recently trading at $0.08.
StockDiagnostics.com has issued 1790 OPS Rating downgrades for 2003. This compares with 1824 OPS Rating downgrades in the same period last year. For all of 2002, there were 3036 OPS Rating downgrades.
About OPS RatingsTM changes -- OPS Rating upgrades and downgrades may predict changes in the momentum of a company's stock price and its inherent or presumed financial health. All OPS Rating downgrades, even a downgrade from the highest OPS Rating of '1'to the second highest OPS Rating of '2'should be treated with equal caution. Similarly, all OPS Rating upgrades should be considered as equally positive. Even an upgrade from the lowest OPS Rating of '8'to the second lowest OPS Rating of '7'can be treated with guarded optimism.
About OPS RatingsTM -- StockDiagnostics.com monitors Operational cash flow Per Share ('OPS') for over 7,000 publicly traded companies and assigns them an 'OPS Rating', which measures the long term risk associated with a company's ability to remain in business. A company's 'OPS'logically falls into a mathematical sequence that ranks it into one of eight distinctive 'risk'categories. Each of the categories is based on a company's operating cash flow for each of its last 4 quarters and its cumulative operating cash flow for its most recent 12 months. OPS Ratings are upgraded, downgraded or reiterated each time a company files a quarterly report and at any time that its financial statements are amended. Statistical research on OPS Ratings is available at http://www.StockDiagnostics.com/marketnews.
About StockDiagnostics.com -- StockDiagnostics.com monitors 1,801 data points on over 10,000 publicly traded companies. It has a proprietary data refinery that automates the process of collecting, sorting and organizing large amounts of securities pricing and financial data into comparative financial ratios. These ratios are used to identify Financial Statement anomalies and securities pricing variances to monitor changes in the performance of public companies. Go to http://www.StockDiagnostics.com/marketnews for a description of StockDiagnostics.com's patent-pending technical applications, such as OPS, OPS Ratings, The EPS Syndrome and more. ARSW, at .006 is getting very close to my bounce/bottom price of .004.......
But,(to cover my ash...:), that 60M shares they registered at the first of this month may change the rules....:)
Still, there could be a good bounce in the making...
Wise,
Man! Is EVERYTHING getting hammered today or is it just everything I'm looking at?.........Jeez!
Wise, GTEL has some real problems and they appear to be mainly surviving by issuing shares,(200M) in the last year.
That letter reads like a Communist Manifesto and may be just about as successful........
When AXGI, Global and NCI merged last year they elected to increase the AS to 1.5B rather than do a RS.
Right now the OS is 674,094,104 and all this flap about issuing 60M shares or not doesn't mean a lot.
As it turns out, they will be issuing 52M anyhow.
22M will be 144 restricted and it looks like 30M will be free-trading.
Charterhouse Finance has loaned the company almost half million dollars with no strings and one would think they have a serious interest in the company.
So, why did Charterhouse back out of this latest deal?(the letter doesn't address that)
Even though IP World Ltd. is being busted by the Australian SEC and is facing a total liquidation of all assets, the letter still tries to make their involvement look like a good thing.
(could it be because GTEL owns about 85% of IPW?)
The details could be debated and several different pictures could develop, but, as I see it, they have many problems that should take several months to recover from.....if ever.
Even as a short play, I don't see the PPS making any dramatic moves. The OS is just too big and getting bigger.
And.....if nothing else.........The CEO moving his family to Florida puts him in a class with several other CEOs who are already in jail...(tongue-in-cheek....:)
EVSC news, 1:4 stock dividend............
To Issue Stock Dividend in Nutraceutical Development Corporation
via CDS
August 26, 2003
Basic Research to invest $2.5 Million in First Product
Endovasc Incorporated announced that the Company's wholly-owned subsidiary, Nutraceutical Development Corporation, will be issuing a stock dividend to Endovasc stockholders of record on August 29, 2003.
Endovasc's Board of Directors will issue a dividend of one share of the Series Nutraceutical Development Corporation Common Stock for each four shares of Endovasc Inc. common stock.
In announcing the dividend, Dr. David P. Summers, CEO of Endovasc, said, 'We have determined that our nutraceutical business could be a very lucrative segment for our angiogenic and stem cell recruitment technologies. Having recently signed a licensing agreement with Basic Research to invest a minimum of $2.5 million in developing, commercializing and marketing our Muscle Mass Technology, we felt now was an opportune time to reward our loyal shareholders for their ongoing support. Since the nutraceutical business is substantially different from our pharmaceutical business and will develop on its own schedule, we feel that the stockholders should receive the benefits of this segment through a separate class of stock whose performance and other attributes will reflect the business. We are currently developing and testing other new products with the intention of forming similar licensing and commercialization agreements.'

bob, re SFXCE.........
JMHO, but unless you have some insider knowledge of some upcoming event, I don't see how you can make money with this stock......long or short.
I just took a quick look at it..... the company is making no money and, if fact, has huge, continuing losses.
It appears that they have been staying alive by issuing shares.
The current OS is 100.6M and over half of that was issued in the past year.
The stock is very lightly traded and although the PPS has shown a slight increase over the last year, the chart now shows it either running flat or falling off.
The E on the symbol is supposed to mean they have been non-complient with the required SEC filings and, from the time the E was attached, have 30-days to comply or be delisted.(but, extensions on the time limit can be requested from the SEC)
In this case, the company received the E on April 22, 03 and, although there have been filings, the E is still there.
As always, an investment decision lies in the hands of the person who lays down the money.

OT: interesting info for Star Freaks..:)
"CLOSE ENCOUNTER WITH MARS Never again in your lifetime will
the Red Planet be so spectacular! [In its orbit,] Earth is
catching up with Mars, an encounter that will culminate in the
closest approach between the two planets in recorded history.
The next time Mars may come this close is in 2287. Due to the
way Jupiter's gravity tugs on Mars and perturbs its orbit,
astronomers can only be certain that Mars has not come this
close to Earth in the last 5,000 years but it may be as long
as 60,000 years. The encounter will culminate on August 27th
when Mars comes to within 34,649,589 miles and will be (next
to the moon) the brightest object in the night sky. It will
attain a magnitude of -2.9 and will appear 25.11 arc seconds
wide. At a modest 75-power magnification Mars will look as
large as the full moon to the naked eye. Mars will be easy to
spot....By the end of August when the two planets are closest,
Mars will rise at nightfall and reach its highest point in the
sky at 12:30 a.m. That's pretty convenient when it comes to
seeing something that no human has seen in recorded
history.... Share with your children and grandchildren. No one
alive today will ever see this again."
---Wayne
What that all means is that Mars has never been this big and bright
before, in all of human history. And in fact, newer measurements suggest
it really has been something like 60,000 years since it's been so
prominent in out skies--- well into prehistory.
All you need are your eyes, but even a small 'scope will probably show
you some surface features--- at least some subtle variations in color
and shading. Although you won't see the kind of detail produced from
space and from giant mountaintop observatories, even a modest backyard
'scope will show you more detail than was available to the early Mars
observers like Galileo, and probably to Huygens and Sciaparelli (of
"canali" fame) as well. Even Lowell in this century, who thought the
surface markings were signs of Martian civilization, routinely stopped
his 'scope down to a mere 6-inch/150mm aperture, the size of a modest
modern amateur telescope.

AMUT, at .275, up from .08 10-days ago..on news.
On Wednesday, August 20th, 2003, Sunnyvale, California based American Multiplexer Corporation announced the introduction of a new technology that will revolutionize the digital camera industry. American Multiplexer Corp. (OTC: AMUT) announced that it has completed its first of many products that will allow digital camera users to send digital pictures over the Internet at great speed from 200 to 400 times faster through the use of highly integrated compression technologies. Combined with their proprietary AMC Management Console and a compression of 400 times, the product will be a boon to 50 million digital camera users. The AMC product called, AMC-JPG2000, will resolve a universal, longstanding problem that digital camera users face on a daily basis, namely, the difficulty and challenge of transferring large files over the Internet. Using this compression technology, large files can be delivered over the Internet at lightning speed. The product will become available in late September 2003. AMC-JPG2000 is poised to capitalize on a market opportunity that will reach $17 billion in sales by 2008 (ING Barings).
It is important to note that management has invested in the company and its technology. From inception insiders have invested approximately $40 million (reported in Form 10, Statement of Registration August 1997). To date principle insiders have invested $37 million, of which $3.75 million was raised via a public offering. On February 13, 2003, the Company issued a press release announcing that it has filed a patent to protect all the intellectual properties used in the delivery of AMC Network's services.

I may have found a sleeper....CTPI
Change Technology Partners Inc....On Aug 13 announced a merger agreement with Neurologix Inc. a private company.
CTPI has basically been operating as a empty shell and, now at .067, has doubled in the past week.
This will be a reverse merger with Neurologix being the surviving company.
Yesterday, Neurologix filed a form 425, (see below)
The chart for CTPI looks very good and the upward movement, IMO, looks healthy.
The OS for CTPI is 182,003,919 and a reverse split when the merger is consummated is highly probable.
Until then, this could continue running.

Dear Stockholders:
Neurologix, Inc., a Delaware corporation ("Neurologix"), is providing
notice to inform you that as of August 13, 2003, the stockholders of Neurologix
approved the resolutions attached hereto as Exhibit A approving the merger of
Neurologix with Change Technology Partners, Inc., a Delaware corporation
("CTPI").
CTPI recently sold its sole operating subsidiary. Currently, the
assets of CTPI primarily consist of cash and cash equivalents.
Under the terms of the merger agreement, a newly-formed subsidiary of
CTPI would merge with and into Neurologix, and Neurologix would survive as a
wholly-owned subsidiary of CTPI. All Neurologix securities issued and
outstanding as of the closing date will be exchanged for the right to receive a
certain number of shares of CTPI common stock. The exact number of shares of
CTPI common stock to be issued at closing will depend on CTPI's cash and cash
equivalents, liabilities and contractual commitments as of the closing date. It
is currently expected that upon completion of the merger CTPI's shareholders
would retain approximately thirty-two percent of the outstanding voting capital
stock of CTPI on a fully-diluted basis. The proposed stock-for-stock transaction
is subject to the approval of CTPI's stockholders and is intended to qualify as
a tax-free reorganization.
The merger transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter of
2003.
Neurologix understands that in connection with the proposed
transaction, CTPI intends to file relevant materials with the Securities and
Exchange Commission (the "SEC"), including a registration statement under the
Securities Act of 1933, as amended, that contains a prospectus and proxy
solicitation statement for CTPI's stockholders. Because those documents will
contain important information, you are urged to read them, if and when they
become available. When filed with the SEC, they will be available without charge
at the SEC's website, www.sec.gov, and you will receive information at an
appropriate time on how to obtain transaction-related documents without charge
from CTPI. Those documents will describe how your Neurologix securities will be
converted into CTPI securities in accordance with the terms of the merger

Re CMKM.
I hesitate to mention this because this Pinksheet stock is such a POS, closing today at .0004, but there may be a play here.
Today, they put out a PR announcing a 2:1 "split" for a "stock dividend."
Naturally, the wording in the PR was all screwed up and you couldn't tell if it would be a split or a dividend.(there's a very big difference).
Also today, (late), on the NASDAQ Daily Lists, it shows the action and it's listed as a dividend!
The DOR is Sept. 12 and the paydate is Sept. 28
Between now and then, there will be some interesting activity on this stock............be your own judge.
EVSC, at .42 is on the move.
It closed last night at .39....

CLEVELAND, Aug 20, 2003 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- AuGRID Corporation (AGRD) announces it has completed the acquisition of a private industrial electronics company located in Austin, Texas. All details on the company that currently serves the silicon carbide and high accuracy thermo couple markets will be released on September 21, 2003.

AuGRID's distribution subsidiary delivers next generation LCD and plasma displays for end users in consumer and commercial electronic markets.
AuGRID Corporation is a technology-based organization engaged in the distribution and development of electronic and display devices.

Linchuck, You've pretty much described an emerging company that's struggling to make it, but I still have one question.
If revenue increased over 100%, what happened to make their overhead,(expenses), increase a like amount?
Quite often in the Pennies, when the money starts to flow, Management will take a lot of the profits, ie; bonuses, perks, salary increases, etc.
If that's happening here, regardless of how good the company is, they will have a long way to go to get out of Pennystock land.
FWIW, I agree with you about the consultants. Those guys don't work for free and they don't work to receive an "investment" in a company.
If this is the case, this drop in the PPS is just temporary.
I'll keep watching the charts and have my people alert me for any developments.
Thanks
