I sent Mr.Craw an email.See if I hear back.
In an earlier email he said he couldn't explain the SP today but was pleased with the volume.
If the warrants were the cause, wouldn't he know it? He MUST know shareholders were looking for a data PR.He can't be that far out of touch.
If there was new data presented at the conference isn't that also governed by the SEC insider trading/info rules?
He and the other principles (I believe) own 41%.I can't believe they would cut their own throats. They must be up to something.
Kelt
You're not the only one who feels that way and sent an email.
At least now you know there are 2 of us.
Kelt
I think some of last week's volume and the subsequent selling is also due to ISCO's 9/25 PR stating that they were presenting NEW DATA at the ANA conference (yesterday & today) and people bought-in anticipating a good news PR.I too have been with ISCO since late 2009.I did fully expect to see a news update this week myself.Otherwise the wording on the 9/25 PR should have been corrected.
Kelt
My question is if ISCO was discussing new news/data yesterday/today how could they do it without releasing the news publicly to avoid "insider trading" accusations?
Any ideas?
Kelt
Although I hate seeing a dip in the SP prior to "Big News" ,
Negatives like this are quite often a precurser to major Positives.
Just like black flies and mosquitos preceed warmer weather.
Kelt
Same here
I've seen this scene a number of times just before "news" and a major surge upward.I am not surprised here at all.
Kelt
If you follow the history of the technology and scientists associated with it,yes it goes back to Communist era Russia.
Kelt
HEY LEIF!!!!! Good to see you!! When did you hop on board?
Kelt
Check out Modrica's post #3135 She found the listing but not the
time.
I think it's during the 3:30 sessions and if they present after 4PM
then the PR would be "after hours" which means they have until tomorrow before market opens to PR the news.
You can bet there's a strategy behind it.
Kelt
Yes sometimes stocks are like an assylum run by the inmates. ;)
Kelt
Yup,the "pre news/spike" opposition's "full court press"
Kelt
I am guessing during the 3:30 PM Symposium.Under the "New" topic "Interventional Neurology"???

YUP,like selling a Picasso for $5 at a yard sale.
Whoever is selling today is like a child playing with a stick of dynamite.
Kelt
OK with the upcoming "festivities" this coming week, and after the really good volume this past week when the SP wanted to blow past .27 but was kept in check and now held to .21+,where will it go from here?
I see resistance at .30(ish),then .35 and then .40 and after that pretty open up to a buck.
Any "guess takers"?
Kelt
You are so right.More than you will know.
Kelt
Well said. One never knows the impact a negligent statement may have on others.KarinCa has told me she will respond when she has some time later.
You and I and others we both know have worked together in good times and not so good times. We share DD and "discoveries".
I am proud to know and to be associated with you and those who keep other's best interests in mind. There are many who don't.
Kelt
Pete,I sent a PM to KarinCa.I know she will respond.Although I understand the science, there are some who can explain it much better than I.She is excellent.
Kelt
It would seem that DD would involve asking others more knowledgable in the science some questions .
In this arena there are no stupid questions. As a new investor he deserves better than that.
If some can't answer the question, leave it.(In fact if some can't answer the question, they need to look in the mirror and hope someone can answer the question)
Kelt
From a strictly layman's perspective. It appears that the primate data has to be impressive enough for ISCO to continue towards IND filing and preparing for P1 trial next year.Obviously if the primate study was lackluster they would not be proceeding forward.
It also seems appropriate that they are presenting to the Neurologists Assn.meeting as "Peers to Peers" as opposed to an investor conference.
That being said,if their stem cell therapy data remains on track with expectations and proceeds into the P1 trials and is successful, they have not just alleviated the symptoms of PD but have , infact, solved the problem.Monumental.
Nice "return volley" Yuk Yuk :)
Kelt
Obviously they would have PR'd any new news presented.Since they didn't,I believe they may have managed to wake up some people and also raise awareness of next week's presentation.
I think this is a "stampede" trying to get in before next week's presentation.
Just remember that if they blow through the roof next week, there will also be a lot of profit taking as well.Don't be surprised if it goes to the moon and then comes back into the "clouds" albeit at a higher level.
Kelt
There has got to be a rebound here.
Kelt
TDA shows the same
Kelt
Being Irish. How about an "Everything Ribbon" (Plaid :)
Kelt
It suggests to me that there is still a lot going on and we will probably be seeing more PR's as things continue to unfold.
(That's my hope and I'm "stickin to it")
Kelt
Under different circumstances I would agree with you but in light of what is (still)in process,I think Mgt.is so "right out straight" that they can't respond to everyone .It is my understanding that the company has been (and continues to be) deluged with calls and emails.
I would guess that whoever in Mgt.is married, their spouse(s) are currently "XXII widows" for right now.
Kelt
That's OK I'm dealing with bladder Ca myself.
It's just that to me,any cancer is scary and I think the "pink ribbons" should apply to all cancers.
Whether it is smoking related or otherwise, hopefully XXII and the other companie(s)(we both) invested in will bring new hope for patients and reduce the "terror" of cancer to "an inconvenience" .
Kelt
S(h)ABBY has been selling since they converted their warrants in July. How many? Who knows. But they have been selling right along. They have been selling heavily lately as we all know and the "flood" of shares for sale are now becoming a trickle and soon a "Drip,Drip".
Buying will quickly pick up when buyers see that they won't see their purchases decline in value right after they buy.Buyers are waiting for the selling and profit taking to stop. Then they will step in.Next week should see a good turn-a-round.
Who knows,XXII could be sandbagging some good news to PR on Monday to add fuel to the fire.
Kelt
I'm not sure who your broker is (I assume they all have apps for your IPhone).
I use TD Ameritrade. They have an app as well that I can get real time account info.Level 2 is helpful for time and sales as well as MM activity.I'm sure there are others here who are more advanced than I but you should be able to access your account on your phone and trade just like on a regular computer.
Kelt
That's what it "smells" like to me too.It almost seems as if MM's are "hiding" incoming buy orders to try to accomodate "Cronies" and shorts at lower prices but no one is selling.
Probably wrong but that's what it seems like.
Kelt
Not to disagree but TDA was showing actual premarket trades before 9:30 AM (about 10K shares with SP @ $1.65).
Premarket orders that aren't executed until after market open will not show up as volume in premarket. The above mentioned trades showed volume and SP increase and caused the open (9:30) SP to start at $1.68.
I'm not aware that one can trade otcbb stocks after hours.I know they can be traded pre-market in the AM but not in the evening from 4-8.
Correct me if I am wrong?
Kelt
If I read it right,S(H)abby exercised warrants for 2M & 83K shares common stock.
I assume they started selling quickly thereafter.
How many they sold and what they have left is another story.
Kelt
Even when they're not on strike (or shut down).Gov't? what Gov't?
Kelt
Now they're "hiding" 1.33
Kelt
Funny how the streamer shows the ask @ 1.32 yet Level II shows 1.34
Seen this many times before too.
Kelt
That's why I don't think it is an SEC or "legal" issue. It is probably more of a "company/partner/agreement" security issue.
Which is perfectly understandable.
Nothing wrong with erring on the side of caution.
Kelt
