I was thinking...maybe the halt is because of a short volume higher than the actual float, or something wacky. Likely it's misleading PR's or filings that got the SEC attention (which would not go well for us when it trades again). Anyway...I have no experience with being a shareholder in a halted stock, so I guess I'll chalk this up to another learning experience.
It was a promo that lasted about 20 minutes before it got dumped. I like playing promo crashes (which always happen), but have never been caught in a halt while playing the bounce.
Wow...held BOPT when it kept the .05 level, went to work, and now I see it was halted. As a knife-catcher, that's the first time I've been caught in a halt.
My gut said "sell on opening volume then wait and see what happens" but I held too and stopped watching so I wouldn't get psyched out for a loss. Should have listened to my gut
I guess BOPT was the one I was supposed to wait for sub .05 break instead of ASUV. D'oh! Now I have to play the average-down-damage-repair because BOPT didn't give a bounce on the break below .10
Sigh....
BOPT down more now. Sheesh.
I know... I ended up buying something else instead since ASUV took off without me
BOPT just broke below .10 -- making small entries...
I figure the MM's will try to throw her below a nickle for a moment to trigger some stop-loss volume, then we'll see if buying brings the support. I'll be watching closely this morning
I like the look of that WTCG chart.
Caught some GOFF .251 and have another order at .205 just as back-up. Expected a little bounce off of a quarter, so let's see. Just dipped below, so I'll probably get my 2nd order filled.
