I went to Highline yesterday and talked to them about PDs idea. They said it would be a good project to do but did not know what applications the rotary would be good on because it is all HP and not much torque. The prototype with the hoss would be about the only feasable project but would not do well in mountainous terrain. The hoss is a very heavy utv. If you have ever looked at one they are very heavy duty. The tooling would have to be completely different to switch to a 3 wheel application which is very expensive. They said they think the rotary engine could run almost if not 100% on hydrogen. They said they would do it if PD would put up half a million dollars.

Did you put the needle in after the mass air flow sensor? I am not sure why your emmissions light would come on unless you put the needle in before it.
I think someone that works there has one on his pilot and it gets really good results. when you get the tuner you can adjust the levels and get a happy medium. What are you getting on your Pilot?
I think someone is purposely driving the price down today with low volumes and declining price. If they would hold buying pressure would go up. The shareholders that have been around here know that. That is what it has been doing for the last 2 months.
I have not had a chance to talk with them. I have been busy at work. I really don't like to talk to them every day. I think I bother them.
They have cells on multiple fleets. They aren't announcing every fleet they install on. That would just be fluff. There are more big deals than just Dongfeng going on. They have not got anything definate on them so they aren't talking. Trust me you dont want the be out when they hit. They have been in meetings the past few days on the Hoss Brand and I am sure we will be hearing about that soon.

I will talk to them sometime this afternoon and ask. They were looking at several prototypes this summer when I was down there getting an installation. I think I posted about it back then. I got to drive one of them which was cool. They were wanting to be in full production by the first of the year.
My 2003 Cadillac Escalade 6L all wheel drive with HHHI Hydrogen Fuel Cell got 19.3 MPG on a 20 Mile drive (My daily to work course) averaging 75 MPH on moderately hilly terrain Fayetteville to Bentonville, AR. EPA lists this vehicle at 14 mpg highway. That is a little over 38% with the production model fuel cell. I have asked if I can purchase the DongFeng Prototype put on sometime next week. Will check back with results when I get it.
Looks like we need to all drink some coffee (with whiskey) and calm down a little. PD I was never "snookered". I know you know a lot about the tech. The main thing in my opinion is that the hydrogen product they sell does do what they say it does. When someone agrees to buy a product they want it to do what they were first told it would do. This product does that. As per perfecting it I don't know that much about. They are testing it constantly on every different application they can think of that is marketable and perfecting the tuning per application.
Not sure what your definition of shell is. HLNT is composed of Hoss Motorsports, Highline truck beds, and Highline hybrids. The management of the companies is the same. Same CEO. All of the companies are in Farmington Arkansas. I have purchased and had installed 4 fuel cells for my vehicles and 3 on vehicles for my family members. I purchased a truck with a highline bed from them (they used it to pull a trailer and deliver beds). I have met most of them and talked with them.
I am totally satisfied with the product they produce. I am comfortable as a shareholder. The people that run the company are honest and hard working. I do my own DD and will share it with others which is what pd asked for so I am cool with that. I dont have any pull with the direction of the company so I gave him contact info for them to see if they would like to pursue the direction he is wanting the company to go. I am cool with everyone as long as they arent crazy bashers that won't listen.
There was no dilution. The falling PPS was because of hump and friends cashing in debentures. Seeing how PPS is holding value that time should be behind us. The only way to go now is up.
We need to remember that this company has more than one line of business. The truck beds have a great ROA. Light weight, hundreds of pounds less than the competition, and hundreds of dollars less. The Hoss brand UTVs are about to get ramped up. The have been getting a lot of calls wanting them to bring back one of their past hoss models. Have you looked at the Hoss website? They have made many custom ones to fit many different applications from fire departments to hunters to electricians. Some of them are diesels.
Last time I talked to them about the Hoss they were planning a farm/city maintenance model with some sort of air cooling technology that cools the open air cab. Haven't heard of the big 3 doing that!
Also they are looking to produce a separate hunting model with all the lockers, 4wd of course, preditor calls, etc. I want one of these.
There is a lot of things behind the scenes we will not hear about until they come to fruition because the company does not give forward looking statements.
DongFeng deal apparently still on the table, other large deal outside of the automobile industry a real possibility. Tractor shows and new advertising campaigns getting a lot of buz.
This stock is starting to get eyes on it. Company says they are not doing any dilution.

Highline said they are going to video the Tractor Demo that they give when they go to a farm and install the system. They are doing demos at farms currently.

The first part of the article was more what I thought was good. The fact that all of the passenger vehicles would have some sort of hybrid technology. We know they are looking at our technology and the govt is wanting all vehicles to have new tech by 2012 is a good sign. CEO said a while back that they could handle any volume they could throw at them. Also said they could begin new production lines easily if needed. Supply chains are ready for new orders.
The Cells on passenger cars and trucks are a big deal, but the tractors and eighteen wheelers is where the big money is for the company. They save the users the most amount of money and make Highline the most profit. It saves farmers and truckers hundreds of dollars a day, thousands of dollars a year.
I think this will be the best sector to attack. Don't get me wrong Dongfeng found a great deal here but in my opinion the company should focus on the big rigs.
