Yeah I'm pretty pissed I got stopped out @ my 3.25 order. I didn't want to sell out for less than 3.40 today, why I sold half at the open @ 3.55 and then put a stop it for the rest @3.25

man this hit $4.00 in pre-market trading, WTF?

Hard for most to hold through these intra-day sings...IMO

It looks like so far buying the gap down on UGAZ and selling the gap up on UWTI was the right play!

But how quickly things do change around here so lets see where they are at by the EOD...

Just keep a close eye on support at the 50dma holding, so far so good. You don't want to see it fall and close below it or it's likely to fall down to the mid 60's next.

I think we could see a reversal with JNUG and JDST soon and both could fill the gaps...IMO

I still like UWTI going forward, nothing has changed... It's still significantly oversold and is only beginning to find a bottom and get some bounce action...

MACD only beginning to turn on the weekly. More upside to come...IMO

it's still early in the trading day. I wouldn't be surprised to see it create new daily highs this afternoon. Nobody really expected it to hit 3.50 yesterday when it was trading below $3.00 all morning...

Yeah when day trading It's always wise to sell on any gaps and buy on the fills... You still made decent gains in the short term;)

Actually I do "invest" money in all of my day trades so I am still technically considered an investor;)

I've explained my trading strategies with ETF trading. It's in the sticky post on the board. I do believe gold and silver will move higher in 2015, however when trading/investing in the paper markets (ETF's) I recommend playing the short term swings and not hold them long term...IMO

JDST- I may have been a little early on this mornings entry and It might test recent lows and create a double bottom before turning back up. if it does test and hold I will be adding to my position. if it doesn't hold and continues lower I may be forced to sell. Lets hope not;)

I do like the chart set up for a double bottom bounce here.

UWTI - Yes trailing stops are always a good plan when day trading/flipping. it's always wise to protect your gains. Always make sure you follow the Intra-day trading closely to manage your entries and exits accordingly.

If oil prices continue rising today and break past $50 then I expect UWTI could make a push up to test the 20dma.

That is my current short term target, 4.50 range

NLST- An old friend of GoodFellas once again turning out to be a top Jan Effect play 2015.

Do you remember this one last year? I think it was one of the best J/E plays, what a run!

I really have to start making a list of all the top Jan effect plays each year and then revisit them the following year.

History often repeats itself with many of them.

I know some of you took a hard hit with TVIX last month. It can be difficult to regain focus when you take hard hits. You start making poor decisions out of frustration or desperation and it can lead to a destructive spiral of bad trades afterwards. I've been there many times myself and I will probably be there again... but if it does we must always get back up and continue moving forward, NEVER LOOK BACk!! jmho

2015 the year of the Shemitah will be a better year
