I'm back. Sorry folks, was out all day. Anything interesting happen today? Looks like its been relatively quiet. GLTA.
Please let me be the judge of that. I've done pretty well in my investment strategy. I appreciate your concern though, but I believe I'll be fine. You may want to focus on your investment strategy and not worry about me. I've done ok so far. Thanks. GLTA.
Perhaps for you, it is just beginning for me. GLTA.
I agree. I now believe his motives were true, although his methodology needs much to be desired. And I think we have gotten a clearer sense about why we've invested in this company. Discussion on every level is a good thing. It would be much nicer if we could keep it calm and civil. So, I definitely wouldn't mind him coming back. Let's have some great conversation here. I think we're all in a great company and I think its a good thing to look at every nook and cranny :) Hope you're all having a great holiday season. GLTA.
Have a good night folks. Relax and take care.
I think you should stay tuned. I don't think they've just begun this for no reason. I think there are many exciting things to come. Stay tuned. I appreciate your kindness. This is a good board with many good people. We certainly take the good and the bad and digest it. A good debate is always welcome, but let's always please keep it civil. Thanks. GLTA.
I'm not worried about his comments. It helped for us to really solidify our understanding of what the company is about and what they are doing and where they are going. Although I wish it would have gone in a friendlier fashion, I believe the truth has prevailed. Everyone has a place on this board, for the most part, I just wish they'd be a little gentler about it :)
As I've said before, its clearer now to me why I'm in this stock than ever before. GLTA.
Let's all stay on topic and keep it civil. We're all doing great and you're all an asset to the board. The truth is the best thing. It has certainly clarified and strengthened my reason for being in this stock. GLTA.
Well, I personally like your comments now that we can have a conversation and clarify everything. If you've recieved PMs, you've got to realize why. But don't take it to heart. People are emotional about their investments, its understandable. As a moderator I receive many. Thanks again for your comments. GLTA.
For being wet behind the ears, you're a smart guy :)
I think Humphries is very much on top of this and understands the ramifications. Why do you think he's gone to market in such a strong fashion. I believe there is much more to come. GLTA.
Does one company really have anything to do with another company? Not really in my opinion. For example, if one company borrows from Donald Trump and another does as well and one company is successful and the other isn't, I'm not sure how they are related.
With all due respect, you may want to let go of the Corey thing. You have mentioned what you've been through, and I sincerely respect that, but it may be prudent to focus on the management and what they plan to do in this instance.
I hear what you are saying. These guys are definitely carving out a niche and moving the company forward. I don't think default is anywhere ever on the horizon. They've come very far in a short period of time. If they were going to default, I think it would've happened early this year or last year. They have entered a new era in the company and are going to market in a very strong fashion. Don't you think Corey wants his money back? I believe that much bigger things are yet to come.
Have a look at Steve Humphries' track record. A very amazing guy and a strong CEO. He would not waste his time unless he was going to make this a success. He has done at least one other turnaround recently and sold to Cablevision (or Viacom, someone posted the PR from august can you post again).
Your hesitation and quest for clarity is understood. But sometimes, companies are the real deal. Don't define Humphires and DLAV on the CDs, they're using the money extraordinarily wisely. This guy wants to make it a success. That's his MO. He wouldn't be bothering otherwise. Take care. GLTA.
I understand your frustration, I share it. However, although sometimes these things could be handled in a much friendlier fashion, its better that all of these avenues are explored so no stone is unturned. Although I agree, I would have rather this be a much friendlier two days, at least I've become stronger in my conviction about this stock and the company and the people that run it. GLTA.
I did some math myself and the 5% is correct. If you compare the last 10Q to the current, the 5% is exactly correct. There is in fact a cap on the Corey conversions. Management shares are restricted by the way. GLTA.
I sincerely appreciate your input. Like I said, I really wish you would've started with what you said recently. Would've made life easier for all of us. But I understand that you're reticent based on your history with CDs. Completely understood and correct. As you said, the best thing to do is keep watching. Hopefully, you'll be pleasantly surprised. Take care. GLTA.
Folks, lets please be adult about this. Yes, it wasn't easy these last couple of days, but information and clarity always prevails. You are all an asset to this board. I sincerely appreciate all of your input.
I also agree that CDs are not the most advantageous of situations, but I believe the new CEO is on top of this. I don't believe they've come this far to go to market with this software product if they didn't expect to garner a share of the market that will bode well for the company and also increase shareholder value. Look at the history of Humphries, very stellar guy indeed. This guy plays with the big guys and wouldn't waste his time with something that is not going to increase his shareholder value. Take care.
I hear what you are saying, but you may want to stay tuned. I don't believe they will be resting on their laurels at this point. I believe this is just the beginning. GLTA.
In all fairness, Charlatan did express that he may have been mistaken. It's good to have these conversations and make sure everything is out in the open. They are beneficial. This has made me even clearer why I'm in this stock and will continue to accumulate. GLTA.
I think your post is valid and understood. I really wish you would have started there to begin with. Makes sense. From my understanding, the CEO is doing his best to make this a very successful company. Of course, no one wants to do CDs as a way of raising money, but he has come on board in the last year and is turning this company around. Hopefully he'll be retiring the debt. This CEO works damned hard and has spent every penny wisely in my opinion. They have developed a proprietary software product that has recently been launched and gaining market traction. He is very intent on increasing shareholder value.
I understand your hesitation based on your previous experiences in CDs, etc. But you may need to put them aside because I believe this company will do extremely well based on what I've seen thus far. All just my opinion. GLTA.
Well, they did inherit them, that is true. They seem to be working very diligently to turn the company around with the new software products and marketing and sales. That is true too. They seem to be doing all the right things to make this company a success.
Yes, that is understood. But it may have been optimized to intially work best with the nokia tablet. Yes, I'm sure it'll work with the palm treo, etc. I use websites from my handheld, but not all products/websites/software, etc are optimized for my handheld.
I believe that may be the case. For example, I imagine that some people/companies feel they may have been burned by Donald Trump (to use an arbitrary example), so they may do their best to tear apart any deal he may do in the future. He continues to thrive and so do the companies he deals with. Just my opinion. GLTA.
WebDA handheld functionality will initially be adminstered through the Nokia tablet. I think that's pretty clear. I imagine when a client signs up they will receive the nokia tablets with webda installed on it. That's pretty much it. Couldn't be clearer. A lot of companies with software adapt it to some sort of handheld device. All just my opinion.
He often conveniently forgets those types of details. For example, the CEO apparently made 350K in 2006 and then that statement was retracted.
Yes, I know the board. Donald Trump has also been under scrutiny in the past. Not sure why you think every deal is underhanded. Most of them are not.
Also remember, they are also planning to become certified by all the major car manufacturers.
That is the best advice. Do your own DD. This is a fully reporting otcbb. There is much information out there to research. Remember, anyone can post anything on these boards, whether it be positive or negative to their advantage. I always choose to do my own extensive dd and then make my own personal investment decisions. GLTA.
There is no DLAV bankruptcy. Perhaps you should do some dd and get the facts clear. I would take Charlatan's posts with a grain of salt. Thanks.
Let's stay on topic please. Take all personal conversations offline. Please use the PM feature. Thanks.
I have to agree with your assessment. I believe the company is doing all the right things to increase shareholder value. GLTA.
I hear ya. I think the stock market is always risky. I do like this company because they are a fully reporting otcbb. I've had the most success with these companies because they are transparent and are often on the brink of becoming very successful. With pinksheet stocks, you have no idea what is going on since there's no filings and no rules and you have no clue what is really going on.
I've probably told this story twice but, I bought aobo.ob 2-3 years ago in the .90 range. It was an otcbb stock. The message board on it was pretty ugly. They were a chinese herb company in a remote part of china, so you can just imagine what people were saying about the company and its lack of existence, dilution, etc. Anyway, I held and over a 4-5 month period the stock gradually went up to $7 where I sold. They are now on the NYSE as AOB. I'm not saying that DLAV will do this, but its just an example of what is possible. I've had this happen a few times. Of course not all otcbb stock rise like this, so you should always do your own dd and make your own investment decisions. All just my personal opinion. Thanks. GLTA.
I think sunnier days will be coming in my opinion. I'm not really a ihub veteran but my sense is that there are a lot of flippers and momo players on ihub. That's primarily what these boards are used effectively for. So, one or two weeks in a stock can seem like a lifetime for some investors. For the most part, I've always been a medium to long term shareholder and have done well. Everyone invests differently. I try not to get too engulfed in daily moves as long as I feel the overall trend is up. GLTA.
I hear ya. I definitely believe this will be a very successful company, but I just wanted to be realistic about dilution. They are not cash positive yet, so they do have to dilute to raise funds. If you look at the past 3 or 4 10Qs they've done it at a very manageable rate and used the funds very wisely. So, I would imagine we'll see some dilution until they become cash flow positive which will be soon hopefully. Obviously, they've managed it very well over the last year, I can't imagine that would change now since they have products and growing sales. GLTA.
Thanks for the update. It's important to remember that they did rescind the 4.1 billion convertible debt filing with the SEC but they still have convertible debt on the books. So, I would imagine we should expect to see some continued dilution within a reasonable range until they become cash positive. Hopefully, that's forthcoming shortly.
I believe they are doing the right things to move this company forward at a rapid pace. Yes, there has been dilution in the past and probably will be more within a reasonable range but they have used all of that money extremely wisely building new technology and products and going to market with them, signing deals, moving into new markets, etc. JMHO. GLTA.
Unfortunately that's changed for today, but tomorrow is another day.
We're all taking a breather :)
I think we all need a little break. Let's all just take a nice breather. There you go :)
Check out the filings. No need to reply to me. Thanks.
Well, like I said we've read the filings. We understand how to read a filing. No need to reply. Thanks.
