Interesting read from (AST)...

Gern sold their entire stem cell IP portfolio to Biotime (BTX), including two major product candidates in clinical trials - one is a cancer vaccine and the other remylinates nerve tissues. Biotime spun off Asterias as a subsidiary to continue the development of these two products both of which have mind blowing potential - if the next phases of the clinical trials continue to show positive results. BTX & GERN, to a much lesser degree, holds a substantial portion of AST shares. Many of the key people in BTX are former GERN leadership personell.


This press release came out today which, I believe, is why the stock is soaring.

Lets see Vringo has...reverse merged, is now a penny stock, some one has inside info, we can count on a denial of an en band review, because the ruling was not in favor of Vringo shareholders we're bamboozled, investors were fooled by others and naked shorting.

I beg to differ the PPS does, "tell the story". The story goes like this...due process and until this is done/exhausted in my eyes the PPS is in the ballpark.

Due process-A fundamental, constitutional guarantee that all legal proceedings will be fair and that one will be given notice of the proceedings and an opportunity to be heard before the government acts to take away one's life, liberty, or property. Also, a constitutional guarantee that a law shall not be unreasonable,

As for..the salary they earn is enough to hold off and not sell into every spike, every time

Let me say this in another way...A person works at a company and earns a wage. At the end of the year said person expects to get a pay raise but this year the company says..."the salary you earn is enough, so you get no raise you should off and not sell/EXPECT into every spike/YEAR".

Could you tell me if you owned as a director you wouldn't sell anything just to prove some point to investors? I'm not trying to argue with you I just don't see it the way you do. I don't feel any company officer especially a small stock like VRNG should have to be required to hold his stock just to appease an investor. In some small way he is doing exactly what every other investor should've or should be doing.

Wealthy? Maybe more like compensation! Do I begrudge them compensation for their work? Nope. Not to many people now days work for nothing.

If one was a savy investor one could've made some nice $ by playing VRNG. It wasn't me!

As far as the PPS...I never was one for all the $15 price range theories. The PPS reflects exactly what is happening at this time. Nothing land, dreamland. When we get good news the PPS reflects it.

As I've said before the PPS won't reflect the true meaning of VRNG until the fat lady sings.

Wow...theories, shorting, conspiracies, crooked politicians, Google rules the world what else can one come up with? I guess with all the above we should all sell and move on. God people give it a rest. Nobody said buying VRNG was going to guarantee you anything the least to become rich!

Just about ever stock is a gamble more so with VRNG being it is all based on court rulings. If you don't like what you see sell and buy something else. Being VRNG is dependent on the court system with rulings, appeals and so on...this will take quite some time to finally end good or bad.

I'm quite sure with all that has happened so far the ones in charge at VRNG don't see this as some lost battle. One doesn't take such exhausting efforts to come out of this as a loser. So far VRNG has won about 99% of what it's done. Due process is the American way and until it all plays out no one knows what the outcome will be.

I never bought VRNG to become some millionaire. I took a GAMBLE-(to take chance on something: to take a risk in the hope and expectation of a desired result.) If you bought with any other reason then you should not invest in stocks and put your money in a CD.

50/50 are good odds as a gambler but if one takes previous CC's the odds go in my favor as to nothing coming about from the CC. Vringo has outlined what the CC will be focused on! Don't get me wrong…when it comes to Google they have appealed which means more court dates…i.e.

- Recent rulings by the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia in Vringo's subsidiary I/P Engine's litigation against Google et al., the appellate process and expected timelines.

Which means they will NOT be able to go into detail on specifics of the case.

When it comes to the global litigations one has to lean towards the same scenario. One thing which does bring a small twinge of interest is…

- New enforcement actions and anticipated timelines in subsidiary Vringo Infrastructure's global litigations against ZTE Corporation, ASUS, and Tyco Corporation.

Bottom line again they will not be able to go into specifics. Don't get me wrong I'm not blaming Vringo because they can't discuss these issues in detail. I fully understand they can't.

With the following they are items which have been common topics in previous CC's.

- Vringo's growing patent portfolio.

- Vringo's technology partnership with Infomedia and related innovation initiatives.

- The company's capitalization, corporate structure and key financial indicators.

Am I in or out…for about 2 years I've been here with no intentions of selling…YET. I hope you didn't get the wrong impression with my original post as trying to be negative.

I just don't get all this chatter about buyouts, shorts, $15 predictions every time a good piece of news comes out.

Vringo (VRNG) is a patent litigation company currently defending patents related to search.

The company has several sources of income available for 2014. First, the company won its case against Google (GOOG) in November 2012.

As the legal process drags on, investors are waiting for Judge Raymond Jackson of the Eastern District Court of Virginia to award Vringo its payment. The key figure to watch is not only the lump sum but also a percentage of royalties for Google's future North American revenue.

Second, the company is engaged with Chinese telecommunications company ZTE in several European countries. In December 2013, its Indian division was forced to hand over additional information and Vringo won an injunction in Germany. These successes make a global licensing deal likely.

In a 2013 settlement with Microsoft (MSFT), which is in part dependent on the outcome of the Google trial, Vringo received six patents. Investors are still uncertain as to what the patents are, but it shows the company has several growth opportunities after litigation with Google and ZTE.

At no time should anybody ever think this was going to da moon today as was stated a gazillion times since the halt. At no time should anybody believe anybody's prediction of numbers as to the award also stated a gazillion times.

This taint over till the check is cashed by Vringo. Then you might see a nice price movement. Till then people sit back and wait! My God Vringo must be reading this site going jeesh these people are insane.

The real winners are the ones who are playing this stock. If only I did when I first invested in Vringo I'd have a lot more then I do now.
