Plain and Simple. CAPC does 0 announcements other than quarterlys and financial requirements. They're completely silent about their entire company operations, sales, products, customers, expansion, etc. NOTHING. On top of that, they trade minimal shares so if someone wants to buy and sell, there's very little action. Technicals do not play a part with capc because there's very minimal investors trading. We can't judge technical analysis on 3-4 investors. Sometimes, it might only be 1-2 people buying in a day. I haven't sold any of my shares and I'm hoping like everyone here that they get their act together with some care for their investors.
We need a market maker and public announcements regarding technology breakthroughs or customers, countries, etc. I could keep going here but we've all seen it. GLTA
I agree with Towne. The company has a lot going for it with profits and momentum. The problem I see is that the share price is so stagnant that no one sees an opportunity to make any money. We're knowledgeable of the past and what's to come but as a new investment, it's not very appealing from 1st glance. Chart or no chart. Jmho
I took a look at the website for the conference and I even registered to go to Orlando. I'm going to be in Orlando 2 weeks before, so not sure if I'll be able to make it to see the presentation. Depends on my work schedule.
From what I see, this is for private investors and possibly brokers.
There looks to be some big name presenters too. There's free presentations and others that require a fee. I'd like to see who else is presenting at the same time slot as Capc but I don't see Capc listed on the schedule. Am I missing something? At the last financial show, there were other presenters in the same time slot that seem to be more interesting than capstone. We'll see. I don't expect a big thrust of investors to come out of this. Capc needs to make a series of headline announcements and we need to get some volume initiated.
Does anyone know about this company called
Snap Power. I saw it on Facebook. Electric socket illumination - wireless. Does this infringe on any of our technologies?
People will buy once CAPC starts their marketing campaign. Until then, its going to be us and the same people that see the Q3 and hear the cc. At least the company is doing great on the up swing but I don't see this info creating any buying power unless Stewart starts to market the company in "the industry". We could be at the same sp even with 100 Mil if the marketing never gets sparked. JMHO. Looking forward to the cc.
Hey Mike.
I don't believe that we have many investors on the sidelines at all. I sincerely believe that Capstone hasn't gotten into gear yet to inform the public about the company. CAPC has no movement, no volume, not showing that there's money to be made investing into this company. They're incredibly growing all into the positive direction but CAPC as a public company stock sucks.
Yes, We have all of the ingredients to make the stock (and Company) valued at a much higher value. Yes, We should be trading much higher although, CAPC doesn't believe in putting out public announcements on their products, contracts, or sales. Yes, we get a PR before quarterly figures or that they're going to be present in Dallas. But nothing about releasing a new technology. No momentum to inform the investing public.
I think a lot of people on the board will agree. We ( Being Stewart and his organization) need to get the name out through PR's. Once we're over 1.00 and showing momentum WITH VOLUME, I believe a snowball effect will slowly occur.
(Please remember- if we see a volume of 5K shares for a day,
That's approx 2500.00. That means that someone invested 1250.00 and someone sold 1200.00 worth. That's absolutely horrible. It's only 1 step better that no shares trading for the day.
Until momentum of gaining new investors happens, honestly, IMO, we're not a very good investment for someone to realistically see growth. Our charts are fantastic but our stock can't do sh*t. We haven't shown any type of a growth in out stock price for sooo long. Before the RS or after. Sorry for venting guys.
I believe in the CAPC, haven't sold any shares and I've increased my position over the past 2 months. I hold CAPC in 7 accounts with a lot of shares like many here. Let's hope for a good week coming up.
Good find Mike !
You're right. I'm off by a 0. 10k share purchases pre split.
I'm guessing that the selling of the 667 share sales are from the pre split buys. 667 X 15 = 1000 share lots.
Uranium. Please face it. Without an increase in share price, this stock has no attraction to investors. The company fundamentals are there but bragging rights don't make anybody money. We're all in the stock market to make money. I have a large stake in this company from many years ago ( during the souvenir phase before tiles and generators) and yes, I even bought some more recently. Those of us here believe in CAPC and we're all glad that the company is growing and the business is flourishing. Although, I feel that Stewart and company are too busy with their day to day business and don't care to promote the investor relations to increase their company value. Their sales, profitability, debt ratio, etc is all positive but their company stock value sucks. If I was looking to invest into a new company, there's no way I'd find this company or invest here based on a quick look at their chart. I wouldn't spend my valuable time to look into the background here because I'm looking to make money and up until now, this stock is not making any of us any money. There's too many other stock opportunities to invest in and CAPC up until now has shown little to no concern about their stock price failure. I really hope they do what they said and start promoting the company to the investment community. Time for me to get back to work.
Thanks Don. That explains a lot and nowakes a lot more sense. I wonder if we're retaining them
If Kies doesn't know how to do it and hasn't done it numerous times already, then Capstone needs to replace them now with a company that's knowledgeable of what to do. Bottom line.
They may have a good website that someone put together for them but they haven't done Sh*t. Kies needs to show some action or we need to find a new IR company.
Hey Bull,
Like we're discussing... There's no investors to buy CAPC because there's no IR Dept and Kies hasn't done squat to inform the public that Capstone exists. Maybe, they're just contracted to put out the news when Capstone gives them the announcement. ???
Stewart needs to get our story out there. Trading 300.00 for the day is a total embarrassment for a company like this.
Remember when you see 1000 shares volume. That's only 500 bought and 500 sold. I would hope that Capstone will start announcing their innovations and product patents. That's what will bring on the investment community but its a double edge sword. It informs our competition what we're doing. Like he's said in the past, they don't want to give the competition a heads up regarding the newest technology that they're putting into the stores or to whom their customers are. I agree in a way because that's also whats propelling us to the stronger sales volume.
There's multiple companies out in the market doing similar products. We just have to keep building our market share.
And hopefully, keep bringing on new technologies before the competition.
Hey Townie. Only and not until Capstone starts their PR campaign. There's a ton of companies listed and we're still a penny stock. Unless Stewart and company start doing PR news releases and informing at investor conferences, etc, there's nothing to inform the public investors anything about CAPC, what they do, sales figures, or if they're profitable. They need to get onto some newsletters, etc. Without that, we're as quiet as a mouse. We could have sales of 100 mil but without the word getting out, we'll have no buyers to create the market. At this point, I'm glad the company is doing as well as predicted a year ago and its great to accumulate shares, but without trading, none of us can even sell what we have. I believe that those of us on this board, have a ton of shares together. GLTA this week.
Because they probably saw the higher bid but didn't put in their sell at a limit price so some market maker took advantage of the situation.
Unless Stewart, Keis, etc do some promoting, it won't matter if we do 80 million in revenue. They've got to start getting Mm's and pr announcements involved. Nobody knows anything about this company except all of us. Shhhh. CAPC is almost being kept a secret ( which sucks). Hopefully soon, we'll be on a path with some stock appreciation.
Unless Stewart, Keis, and their/or their Pr person do some promoting, it won't matter if we do 80 million in revenue. They've got to start getting Mm's and pr announcements involved. Nobody knows anything about this company except all of us. Shhhh. CAPC is almost being kept a secret ( which sucks). Hopefully soon, we'll be on a path with some stock appreciation.
I sent an email to Scottrade this morning and just a little while ago, I noticed that my acct now shows CAPCD in my positions.
Unfortunately, unless Capstone does a little promotion, the investment community is never going to know about this gem. They need to get some momentum going. Just a little.
I agree with you although we know that Capstone also doesn't care 1 bit about making public announcements. Their concern is about growing the company internally and staying on their path to be "a monster in the industry". Increasing the share price is not of their fundamentals in growing the company. We as SH of course want to see our shares appreciate.
Fortunately, they've got things going in the right direction ( we can only hope it continues... with tech and a change in the LED source, etc.) Unfortunately, we're going to have to wait it out and hope the upcoming quarterly's show the public and some marketing what everyone here already knows. It just seems that when we knew of Capstone's involvement in the LED market and we thought they were going to take a lead role, that's when they went silent and the LED industry has grown all around us into everything and capstone just keeps doing what they're doing. Shhhhhhhh says caps. We've got Hoover. We haven't seen squat. How much do we really even know regarding the whole Hoover scenario?
As far as announcements on product, without really knowing their competition and who has what on the shelves, it's smarter to introduce the new innovative products directly to the customers and not as public announcements before hand. They know who their big buyers are and its not you and me going into the store but we're the end user.
I too wish we knew more and at least saw some small sp increases.
They really tell us little to nothing except quarterly reports.
Fortunately, this a solid and stable growth company. Our share price will increase... Problem is we don't know when and our marketing partners are still in high school learning what to do ????
JMHO
I'm with you too Salve. I remember 1 day when the high was .26.
And rock music had a truly different sound from every band.
I agree.
Hey. I just wanted to voice my opinion. I have a wholesale company and I would never publicize who my customers are.
That gives full advantage to my competition to go after my customers.
It's the job of the retailers to sell the product to the public once we put into their stores. Its should obviously be the goal of Capstone to place the product into as many retail locations as possible too.
My question is who is doing the
wholesale sales of the Hoover brand to the retailers?
Capstone or a 3rd party through Hoover?
Yes, we can supply displays, promo stuff but why is anyone here expecting a customer list.
Regarding the shorting.
Just an idea:
What if someone (current or a previous employee) has an option to purchase shares at a previously set price or the current market price (Whichever is lower). Could they or their relative be holding down the price until that option becomes available for them to purchase more shares? All hypothetical.
Are stock options granted to employees/directors avail or listed for us or the public to see. Or could they have been posted in a previous filing from CAPC. ???
There's got to be a reason why anyone would be shorting this stock. There's a reason someone wants to suppress the price and its not to make money on the short.
You should know Capstone by now. There's no reason to divulge any results from the show days later. (It's not like Disney debuting a movie). Capc introduced new product and packaging at the show to the general public. We're just another exhibitor among many at the hardware show.
I would think that they would have already met with and informed most of their big buyers of the technology improvements and new products so they have a little excitement to come visit at the booth. The buyers and decision makers usually will stop in at the supplier's booth if not for the product, then just for a little PR with management.
JMHO: They probably did sales meetings directly to those customers privately before the show. If the product was ready to be manuf a month ago, I can assure you, they weren't sitting around waiting for the show. Like any company, they want to get the edge on the competition, so they probably met with all of their big buyers before the show and brought samples with them to their offices. There may be a whole slew of orders already but we won't know. It's Capstone's business and its only a sales order. We'll find out after shipping the product.
It probably goes something like this. They brought over a lot of their existing customers who probably gave the ok and said it looks good.
At the show, the customer confirms with whoever handles their account that they'll put it together and you'll be hearing from us after the show. The smaller stores and companies would usually place an order at the show but the big boys follow up afterwards with a PO after the show.
I highly doubt that we're going to find out anything regarding who's buying product. Only after the product becomes available in the stores, will it drizzle down to our knowledge. What we can hope for is to hear at a conference call X dollars of backorders waiting to be shipped. Sorry for any repetition here.
GLTA and Happy Mother's day to all the moms.
Ok. Thanks. It's been a while since I looked at their site.
This is the website that I was looking at:
http://capstonecompaniesinc.com/
The new website is up and running. Looks very professional and good. It's an informational website and really nothing more. I doubt that this is going to have any effect on the stock price as it really doesn't show any reason that it would do so. I didn't see any mention of Hoover either.
At least it's up and running before the show. As its been said previously, CAPC doesn't want to give out all of their info to the competition. Let them search & find it through the retail market.
Have a good day.
CAPC News just came out a minute ago. Info about introducing the new line and the hardware show.
http://finance.yahoo.com/news/capstone-industries-debut-largest-product-140000078.html
Have a great day my friends.
Hey guys. I contacted the company and as expected, they couldn't tell me any more info aside of what was said in the CC.
They did however inform me that Stewart and the company are on track with their business plan as planned a long time ago and everything is moving in the positive direction. (As long as we don't decide to import power generators for hurricanes or roofing tiles)
There are more announcement(s) that are already planned to come out but they're going to be done as set out in their strategy.
I guess Stewart and mngmt's grown the company from a loss to profits and everything we've seen happen over the past 2-3 years has been growing in all facets and value (as we see it). Its also a really a good sign that no one in management has sold any of their stock. (but we don't know if its all restricted either)
Just going to have to wait until we know more.
Since they informed us that Q1 and Q2 are going to be affected, I'm guessing that more positive PR's are going to take place to compensate for the negative reaction. JMO Have a good weekend.
Are any of our board members able to go to the show coming up to see any of the new products and direction?
We're not getting anything from the company.
Ok. Enough of the cheerleader section.
Yesterday's announcement couldn't have been further from anything we were all expecting. I strongly believe that everyone was disappointed in what we heard.
Question also remains - Why didn't they announce anything else positive with the operations, sales, new innovations, ACK, sales, etc. Nadda.
I hold a lot of shares of this company and I'm not about to sell them off at this stage. This is an investment and I believe in the company but imo, we're missing the boat. Somethings hidden with the Hoover deal. Whats happening if anything with ACK?
No updates at all. Stewart -time to adjust your business marketing. Yes, I'm a little frustrated.
Their S**t announcement was as good as nothing. Aside from that announcement putting us in the same category as a vacuum cleaner.
Why would anybody rush to buy capc shares after that?
We know whats going on because we've all been here and we've seen the numbers progress and other announcements and product over time.
I don't believe they've created any incentive for people to buy this stock after yesterday's announcement. Big mistake for not telling us more.
I wonder if its Coleman Camping Equip. ????
Coleman licenses out their products. I wonder if the technology could tie in and work with camping gear?
I think part of the reason is that Capstone has so many millions of shares that after figuring the valuation the per share value couldn't be justified until our sales and profits are consistently going much higher. Yes, that sucks, but this was explained to me in the past. I've been here for 10 years as well and CC is finally growing into the entity that we've been hoping for years.
I believe in this company as well. It's been a lot of years for many of us and I have a lot of confidence that the numbers are going to continue to get better. I just hope we're not having the same conversation next year.
Have a good weekend my friends.
We're just off the radar until the PR dept lets the public know whats going on. Even the stock newsletters don't want to push us because the company won't put out the pr's to pump the stock.
Hopefully soon, we'll be on their radar. We've got the growth numbers to prove our direction already. I think we just have to get the new technology and products into play and then we'll have a lot more momentum. CC is not going to tell the world that we're shipping our latest and greatest to the stores. The numbers will show that and we've got an excellent team doing it. Look at what they've accomplished and informed us over the past 12-18 months. Although we'd like to know more about the inside info and more details, we're investors into this company. Not employees. (Wish I had a buddy that was a CC sales person.)
The company still wants to keep their marketing and sales quiet regarding the competition. Let the competition figure it all out on its own which they will but with a little more difficulty. I don't believe in putting the details of our product lines out their for them to copy. Most companies don't put their newest products onto their website and even more and more are using a login procedure to even get onto the company's website.
Soon enough, we'll be in front of investment firms and that will be the complete end of this low penny pps. JMO
AC Kinetics Question. We have an investment into ACK and so do other companies. ACK is its own entity and from what I understand is that we're going to be using their technology in some of our products.
ACK has the ability to sell their technology and products through other avenues other than Capstone too.
Q - Does Capstone financially benefit from anything else that ACK does other than using their technology in our products or are they adjusting and engineering their technology for our products to use? With new products on the horizon, I wonder if ACK will be involved with other categories.
ACK could in fact offer their technology to many others. Just not in the power failure category.
Sorry for being so choppy. Would have been a good q for the conf call.
Thanks.
Hey. According to Stewart, in the cc he informed us of having to use another vendor and an increase of component costs to fulfill this large order to meet the delivery date. They're office in HK took care of the sourcing out of the manuf and the components etc. That was great that they were able to accomplish the project.
Another q which I would have liked to get answered is - As the company grows with more orders, products and qnty's, they're going to have to find more factories to fulfill the orders. They can't continue to just have an increasing backlog using the current factory. I'm in business and I'm sure this won't be the 1st time that the company has to give up certain profits to fulfill an order or to make the deal happen. Most often, giving up part of the profits is like a handshake to solidify future business.
The backlog is ok for dated and FOB orders but the problem of increased costs is going to have to be resolved with more factories. I hope that as they're working on all of they're corporate visions that they also begin to source out new factories and new component suppliers to avoid having to pay another round of excess costs.
Glad to hear that they're expanding into new markets too.
Hey. It feels good today. I bought another chunk early today at .032. Helping to keep the buying going.
I think we have No Idea how big the possibility of this could become in 1-2 years let alone 3-5 years.
Here's a link from Light Engine and their aggreement. I think its going to go way beyond what we're seeing now. Lets hope that Capstone proves to Light Engine the future success as expected.
