I agree Fivestar......maybe EI thought it would somewhat offset the AF's being a month away and the buyback not starting yet. Those have been two of the hot topics since the CC was announced. Wonder how far we would have dropped yesterday if they held off on that for a few days.
I agree, and a few new licensing agreements would be nice!
I can't wait until the current licensing designs are completed and the products start hitting the shelves in full force.
Just a thought !
Stockwiser........heres a curveball for ya......do you think the Olympic Committee would go for a licensing agreement.
Every Country would be covered and many athletes would love to be buried/cremated in something signifying one of their greatest accomplishments.
Good morning everyone. I'll say it again
Several things caught my attention from the CC:
1. They have been approached by larger companies in regards to a buyout. That alone should send a signal to everyone on EI's potential. We're a new company and the big boys are chasing after us.
2. EI was not interested in a buyout. That tells you EI has confidence in their products, operations, manufacturers and distributors, They have a game plan in place and to this point it has been pretty damn good and I see it remaining good. The management team knows what the hell their doing!
3. No distributor for CA yet? They don't meet EI's standards! That should tell you something about the integrity of this company ! You can bet some of those distributors are scurrying to meet those standards!
4. I always said the vatican line will be huge sales worldwide, any new international licensing agreements will be icing on the cake.
Yesterday's CC was nothing but great news. The only downfall is time. Time for the A/F, the uplisting, product design, manufacturing, and shipment. It's not a question of if, but when will all this happen.
The big boys are chasing after us now, gogators hope you in as well, I would hate to see you have to chase as well. GLTA

Today's CC was nothing but great news. The only downfall is time. Time for the A/F, the uplisting, product design, manufacturing, and shipment. I hope the people that sold today out of fear or doubt take a double look at what the future has instore for EI.
I did mention about the possibility of putting the logos on the headstone (Post 59241). Thought it was a good idea since the caskets become invisible when covered up. However, I didn't expect them to move this fast on it.
Vaults never entered my mind!
GM everyone, only thing better than being on vacation today is waking up to a PR.........The wheels on this bus go round and round........and the bus is heading due north. Evil......the 55 you seen was the speed limit sign we zoomed by earlier in the month. As the roadrunner would say "beep ! beep! LOL
I'm tapped out as well !
Good afternoon friends........Gee Whiz ...low volume......appears today we get Zzzzzz's and tommorow we GIVE the Weeeeeeeeeeee's
A coward dies many deaths, but the brave (ETIM longs) only die once !
THX Fivestar!
Fivestar or anyone........Someone with millions of shares, say 100-200M decides on Monday to dump around 15M shares prior to closing to drive the price down. We held strong and closed at 75.
Today they dump more shares, some bail out, and the price drops. May do it again tomorrow to try to get the price even lower. Then boom they buy back in at a lower price and now have much more than 100-200M shares just before the CC.
I am some what new at this, but it seems awful coincidental to me that the price has dropped just prior to a major CC which we all think will be nothing but positive news.
Here we have a company who has yet to do anything wrong. Whatever they touch turns to GOLD. Worldwide exposure, top notch products, 1st shipment of urns sold out in several weeks, yet the pps drops one week before a major CC. A CC which may include news about a buyback, 1st qtr sales figures, possible new licensing agreements, etc..... Almost everytime we have a PR the pps goes up, today it goes down !
Yes we may be overbought and just consolidating, but I am sure we were overbought when we went from 40's-50's, 50's-60's, 60's-70's, and 70's-80's, yet the stock kept going up.
Over the past several weeks the volume has been somewhat low. Today I believe it was 70+ Million. One person dumps 25 million that's 33% of the volume for the day. In theory, when more is sold than bought the price drops.
Is it possible for someone who has 100-200M shares to control ETIM's price for several days as long as the volume is low in order to flip it ?
Pretty sure it is 3,500.00 for a casket....... GLTA
Happy Easter Everyone. Here's some numbers to crunch $$$$$$$$$
United States Cremation Statistics (2005)
Total deaths 2,432,000 (100.00%)
Cremations 778,025 ( 30.88%)
Burial 1,653,975 ( 69.12%)
I assumed since the cremation rate was 30.88% the burial rate would be the remaining percentage (69.12%). I also based the animal statistics off of a previous post where I believe someone said there are 6 million pet dogs/cats in the US. Using 15 years as the life expectancy, that would mean 400,000 die annually.
If EI obtained 1% of the market on human deaths and 1% of the market on animal deaths in the U.S., it would translate into the following, assuming that the cremation/burial percentage remained the same as in 2005.
7,780 urns @ 599.00 = 4,660,220.00
16,539 caskets @ 3,500.00 = 57,886,500.00
4,000 animal urns @ 199.00 = 796,000.00
Total Sales = 63,342,720.00
Obviously, 2% of the market would be 126 million plus and so forth.(In addition, my figures don't include any sales outside the US. Who knows how many millions will roll in from the Vatican urns sold in other countries. Remember 1 out of every 6 people in the world are Catholic $$$$$$$$$).
Also, based on the 25K AKC shipment I think we all agree that 4,000 urns per year is quite a low figure, but I wanted to keep everything at the same percentage.
Anyone have any opinions on what % of the market EI will likely have, or end up getting ? I am not sure if 1% of the market is to high of a figure to use or not.
Me too!
I tried looking at one of the photo's of the caskets, do you know if EI has their name on the casket.
Seems to me that the funerals I have attended most people usually talk afterwards about how beautiful the flowers were or how nice/peaceful the deceased looked. You never hear anything about the casket.
Once EI's caskets start circulating I feel people will be talking about them afterwards. They are unique, personalized and a lot nicer in appearance than other caskets.
Hopefully, somehow they have their name in a non-advertisment way where viewers can see who makes the casket. When people leave they will think of a nice casket and the company Eternal Image will stick in their minds. If only 100 people attend the showing and only half tell someone they know, that is 150 people who now know about EI caskets. Free advertisment.
I don't know how hard it would be to pull off, but it would require a whole lot on EI's part unless they decide to manufacturer the actual head stone.
Wonder if they could contract with various monument makers and let them do all the work. Maybe make the monument makers pay EI a yearly fee or split a percentage for each monument that gets an EI logo.
If you a monument maker it gives you an added advantage over another maker who doesn't want to join in.
An urn can be kept in plain sight where it can be seen forever. However a casket once lowered in the ground and covered up,then becomes invisible.
To many posts to go back through over the past several months. Has anyone pondered the idea of putting the logo (MLB, Vatican, Precious Moments, etc...)on the headstone as well.
That way for example if you are a catholic and a Red Sox fan, you can have a Vatican casket and a Red Sox head stone, or vice versa. You get the best of both worlds.
Stockwiser.......I thought we weren't getting a new photo until we hit the 8's ? Or did we hit the 8's and the rest of the world hasn't caught up yet !
Bee.......I believe this is their website. I checked it out about a month ago but couldn't find any mention of EI on it.

Amen !
Good for you ! Hopefully it will be soon.
Eddy.....know what you mean. I have talked about 6 people I know into buying. They are holding for the long haul.
MKA,The Free Nebula, and several others, thank you for your charts and expertise analysis. They do not go un-noticed and are well appreciated by all of us, especially those of us who either don't have the time or full understanding to do this work on our own. Been meaning to thank you for quite some time and finally got around to doing so. My bad !
Moderators, from Superbee on down the line, excellent job !
Stockwiser...........all I can say is a picture paints a thousand words!
Everyone have a wonderful weekend and a happy Easter!
Stockweiser......need new photo soon looking back at planet earth $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
to late just got filled
I put in at the ask. See what happens !
Just had 3k clear. I'm firing away $$$$$$$$$$$$$
NICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Stockwiser,
You got a picture of the rocket ship leaving the earth's atmosphere ? If not, find one soon $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
Approximately 76 million people attended major league games last year. Having an actual urn in a glass display case in the main souvenier shop in each stadium would get a lot of attention. You can see a picture of the urn in Reader's Digest, or in the newspaper, but actually seeing the item in person is usually more stricking.
Clint even admitted that when the AKC urns arrived. He said "The urns are really beautiful - even more lovely than we had anticipated".
Fivestar.......nice find. Hopefully it indicates a large shipment of baseball urns too! Took 2 1/2 months to produce the 1st shipment and I would think with todays technology/machinery many urns could be produced in that amount of time.
Absolutely ! Remember in areas where there are no distributors they are offering direct shipping so there is no "gap" in service.
Stocky..........thanks for watching my back. Even as a newbie certain negative posts haven't influenced me to sell one bit. I'm in for the long haul and come hell or high water, it EI all the way $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
Good night all, pleasant dreams and may Wednesday bring us good urnings !
One thing is for sure. The management team is a winner, the products are a winner, and the stock is a winner.
One day we will all be rich from EI.
The key on our part is Patience, Patience, Patience $$$$$$$$$$
Also found out this about treasury stocks.
The noun treasury stock has one meaning: stock that has been bought back by the issuing corporation and is available for retirement or resale; it is issued but not outstanding; it cannot vote and pays no dividends.
Can't remember, but I thought someone asked if once bought back could the stock be re-issued.
Bee.......The following link may help answer some of your questions regarding actually buying back the stock and how it effects the P/E as well as tax benefits.

Most of the major metropolitan areas in the U.S. are now covered by their distributors. For areas where they yet have a distributor, they are doing direct shipping to the funeral home.
Well said $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
I asked a similar question late last nite and here is an article Stocky replied with. It appears that they have at least two if not three manufacturing plants. Wonder what the daily production per plant is ?
RE: Production Facilities,
"Eternal Image Inspects and Approves First Shipment of Urns From China
Thursday November 16, 9:00 am ET
Tooling Begins on Casket Production in US and Mexico
FARMINGTON HILLS, MI--(MARKET WIRE)--Nov 16, 2006 -- Eternal Image, Inc. (Other OTC:ETIM.PK - News), a public company engaged in the design, manufacturing and marketing of licensed image caskets and urns, today announced that its quality assurance representative has signed off on the shipment of the first order of 2,500 urns from China...
...Just after Thanksgiving executives of the company plan to tour two other manufacturing facilities, one in the US and another in Mexico, in order to inspect the tooling in preparation for the production of caskets..."
Apparently they have at least two production facilities, one in Mexico and one in the US. (I THINK there is a third one in China but I could be wrong about that.) I would think that they toured these facilities in preperation for possible large demand for their products. This was in Novemeber, so ETIM management is definitely showing foresight are they not?
I think we'll be able to keep up with demand. Just my opinion.
