I suppose the bottom line is this....
You have to stop the bleeding or put a finger in the dike or plug up the holes in the bucket...
However you term it...
The company has shown us that...
They have turned things around...
Now they begin to grow again...
And move to profitability.
One important item to note....
When PK said a move to break even in 9 months...
That is a move TO, on recent calculations...
Of between $16-$17 million in sales.
That was your guidance you were looking for...
And that represents a 822% gain in sales over the $1.843 mil sales booked over the trailing 12 months.
Just as important, based on the info CEO put out today, next quarter appears to be at least a 50-70% improvement on this quarter posted today, and higher than the year ago quarter...
Why is this important?
It's the first time the company has posted higher sales than the year ago quarter in well over 18 months.
I'll also recap on what I heard...
1. Sales increased 64.4% on a quarter over quarter basis while not drawing against any financing other than the required cash to complete the Olifant deal. St. George (St. Charles?) provided $575,000 to complete the Olifant deal.
2. "We have turned the corner." "Best position we have ever been in as a company."
3. "Break even results on EPS within the next 9 months." "We expect revenue to appreciate substantially."
4. SG&A is seeing a sizable drawdown of between 40%-60% going forward as this last quarter saw a higher SG&A than the company expected due to the costs associated with the Blazed and Confused Tour.
5. The company will begin drawing on the cash from St. George (St. Charles?) in January at $230K per month and as such company will not need to issue any further shares to pay vendors and will have enough cash to completely replenish all inventories of core brands outside of Badass Beer. This influx of cash will fund ALL their key initiatives for 2010. "We have access to all the cash we will ever need."
6. The company has not drawn on any of the Line of Credit and does not anticipate doing so unless an opportunity presents itself to further expand the company beyond its business plan.
7. CEO did touch briefly on the penalty shares and did not disclose how they were able to be triggered. He also stated that the selling of late was not likely attributed to those shares hitting the market. St. George (St. Charles?) is a shareholder and stakeholder in Drinks. If they have sold any shares he estimated it could not be more than a couple hundred K shares.
8. Olifant is growing at 50% in current markets. 8 new markets have been added and product is shipping to those locations. 50000 cases of Olifant this year and 100000 cases for next year.
9. $82000 sits on deposit for the Israel deal. Company to begin next week positioning itself for those shipments to begin in January. 60000 cases annual of Trump Vodka in the deal. $7 million in annual sales from this deal.
10. Referred to the business as "THE SET OF BILLION DOLLAR BRANDS WE OWN."
11. Liquor Group counter suit in progress. Company will not try the case in the blogs. Suffice it to say "We ONLY do business with paying customers." Our sales drawdown was due in part to no longer providing product to the Liquor Group. That channel of distribution of our core products has been replaced with new distributors.
12. "Our beer initiative is surpassing all our expectations." Just for August, the company booked $75000 in Badass sales on 1100 kegs from FOUR distributors. (Remember, less than 100 tap handles were in the marketplace in mid August). Company now has more than 300 tap handles in the MI market. (From here, you could assume the company is doing $225K a month currently in Badass sales.) When fully rolled out, MI will have 20 distributors generating over $20 mil a year in sales.
13. Company expects Badass will be generating easily over $20 million in sales, or more than 2% market share just in MI in the coming years.
14. Bottles (22 oz.) are ready to go. Waiting on Kid to approve some label changes.
15. Going to focus heavily on MI and Kid's presence there to saturate the market so as to draw on that success before applying all efforts to other states.
16. Rheingold is an iconic brand just by the name. Rheingold will be re-introduced after the first of the year.
17. The websites for Drinks and AmericanBadass Beer will be up shortly. Drinks' website will be loaded with flash and totally interactive.
18. A Shareholder in Drinks has put together a comprehensive Google Map of every Badass Beer location in the US that will be interactive to include retail locations, retail website info, beer specials, special events, and distributor locations. The company will PR the map when it is completed. (I'm assuming then it will be included on both websites.
19. Badass Beer, like all the license deals with Drinks, is a deal in perpetuity. However, the company has the option to renew in five years.
20. Backorders are shipping and inventories are being replenished.
Kid Rock Nominated for Best World Stage Performance on MTV.
That is because he is world renowned and recognizable worldwide.
He also chose Drinks Americas to have and hold the Worldwide Licensing Rights to Distribution of his Badass Beer. That is because he expects to sell his beer successfully Worldwide because Kid has Worldwide appeal to a Worldwide audience.
I think we can see where this is going. Certainly as far away as possible from this little world.

So, let's examine another reason DKAM should be going higher. We keep finding these and it is hard to continue ignoring them.
MDOR is a Canadian company that is doing business out of FL. Big red flag. They have TWO employees. Bigger red flag. The CEO? Well, he is actually...Chairman, Chief Exec. Officer, Pres, Principal Financial Officer, Principal Accounting Officer and Treasurer. Ouch! Enormous red flag.
The company had no sales for 2006, 2007, and 2008. Finally, the sales are coming in hand over fist. The last three quarters? Sales of $6000, $19000, and $40000. Can you just feel the love?
Unfortunately, last QUARTER, the company posted their largest loss ever...over $11 million. Since that report, the stock just goes higher.
The company is losing over 47 cents a share, has a negative beta, and revenue of 2/10 of a penny per share. It is trading at 65 times book, and 1162 times sales. They have $7.1 million in debt versus DKAM's $1.71 million.
As for the stock price? It broke out in the spring from a low of 15 cents to $1.75 and is currently tracking those highs again. The market cap is well over $80 million, or more than 10 times that of Drinks.
This is more representative of the pure crap and scams on the OTC and not Drinks. But it does prove what I've been saying all along. Stocks can go up for absolutely no fundamental reason. All they need is buyers. And it's just one more to add to the growing list of stocks that should be shorted and bashed instead of this one.
Pretty simple. Happens all the time.
MM gets somebody who wants to sell 200K, or whatever the amount. He finds a buyer, perhaps all or none.
Woomp!! Deal done.
As far as I know, nobody has really put any estimates out. As for this quarter, the beer didn't go online until July 16-17. Maybe a little beer revenue is on there for July 31 end but not much. So, the earnings will probably be more of the same as we saw last month for the 10K.
However, this quarter we are in now and next quarter should be blowout quarters and new records for the company.
I'm going to ask that anyone out there reading this board keep one thing close to the chest that continues to be overlooked. This market has had a 50%+ rebound since March 9 lows. Clearly many stocks have rebounded 1000% to over 5000% from the lows hit that day. Every day there are hundreds of stocks that go higher because the market goes higher. DKAM has not received a single bit of that rebound. Virtually every single one of those other companies that goes higher when the market goes higher have had no fundamental change in their business whatsoever. Despite very bad news for hundreds of companies, they still rebound and go higher when the market goes higher. DKAM should not differ in any way, shape, or form from that mantra as it has been for decades in the market. Therefore, EVERYONE who is long this stock should not pay one ounce of attention to ANYONE who says DKAM is overvalued or needs to go lower. In fact, this company has ALWAYS traded at no less than 3-5 times sales. So even here it is undervalued, not overvalued. Everyone should be taking any measure possible to accumulate as much of this stock as possible under 10 cents and do so with confidence that you will be greatly rewarded. This stock CAN and WILL go higher when someone figures out what is at hand. It is just a matter of time as thousands of hedges are combing the market every day now that the market has moved to isolate those companies that have not moved. This is the PERFECT environment for a story like this where the lowest sales suddenly turns into record shattering slaes for the company. It will be off to the races when it happens and it's just a matter of time before it does.
Wrong! It was a planned transfer of shares on the open market. There was a large retail buyer on the bid and HDSN jumped in front of that player to get the shares. The MMs knew it was coming.
Not much to worry about at only 200K or so.
Foozen, if you're out there, we need that stuff for the iBox up above that Billy asked you about. Thanks
Webmaster needs a major grammar and spelling lesson. Not to mention, nobody has a clue who Tony Gilcrest is.
No telling. I'm still trying to get past the name and then how I'm going to order a "good stiff one" after after I "suck one down."
Erection energy peaks my interest.
What do we call a 22 oz. Badass Beer and Erection Energy??
A Hard Ass??
Nice try. I didn't admit anything and the comment is off topic anyway as it has nothing to do with what I stated. What does have to do with it though is how we just assume LIQR even had those orders to begin with. They ould easily be making it up sine DKAM stopped paying attention to them last year when they stopped paying DKAM for products they were in receipt of.
Your natural inclination would be to think why not call the beer Shark, or Great White Shark Lager, or something like that? Unfortunately, that would catch opposition from Jimmy Buffett's Landshark Beer. So, go with the name everyone will recognize...your own.
It isn't Normans Wines, which is not affiliated with Greg Norman Wines. They hae no desire to enter the foray of beer or malt beverages.
So, now that we have Greg Norman, I'm thinking a little further that the trademark name is NORMANS without an apostrophe. That would be plural. So perhaps it is a joint beer entry, and our first female icon with Chris Evert and Greg Norman. But, she didn't take his name.
So that leaves us with another distinct possibility. Greg is a national hero in Australia. The beer might do well here but it should be a formidable opponent to Fosters, the #1 beer in Australia.
And then just perhaps, our Asia/PacRim/Australia deal has been re inked with a new player.
That's the biggest mistake there and why the mute feature is enacted. Just because DKAM loses 23% of the sales in the Control States to focus solely on a 5000% increase in sales in another area doesn't make them inept. It makes them geniuses. And that's the real rub. They'll get around to picking up those scraps when they get the chance. And the beauty of it all is it will be without LIQR in any way, shape, or form.
All IMO of course.
The "WE" I am referring to is the shareholders of this company which if memory serves correctly, you are not a part of that Class. The "moved on " I'm referring to is a whole new class of suppliers and distributors that pay their bills like Republic National, MBC, and every Badass Distributor. We can now add all those that Greg Norman will have his products sold through. In fact, what the heck, lets just go with the other 2499 out of 2500 distribution companies that pay their bills for product provided.
Uhhhh
We've moved on.
Like, way on.
Kinda gives a whole new meaning to "Hey Norm" and "Beer Sammy"!
lmao
Would be nice to see it at the President's Cup with Norman officiating the International Team.
BUT! We don't have a product yet!
Oh duh!
I didn't even see it. It IS Greg Norman Beer.
Corp might be on to something. There is no reason now why we cannot come out with a number of signature beer brands.
Greg could be coming with a beer for sure.
I'll call and ask him.
:)
That's why I'm going with Greg Norman and a signature brandy or cognac.
He has his wine business but nothing bearing his name solely in the other wine areas.
It will do extremely well IMO.
Well, let's go 100 directions with this one.
New trademark just hit called...wait for it...wait....
NORMANS
My guess? A Greg Norman signature brandy or cognac .
We had Greg when the company started for the wines and the deal fizzled. Maybe he is coming back. But then the trademark would have something to do with wine. This one does not.
But then again, it could be this one also...
http://www.normanswines.com/normanswines.php
Well, it took some work but it seems our Badass Beer baby is doing better than expected. The keg business just crossed 400 acounts from what I've been able to piece together and the "average" keg sales turnover currently is 3 per week. Some more, some less. That is 1200 kegs per week which, in the "business standard", is expected to quadruple sales when the bottles start going out to retail accounts.
So, at a static sales number that is $108,000 in sales per week, or $1.4 million for the quarter, or $5.6 million for the year.
But that will change virtually overnight as one distributor for instance is placing the keg beer in 50 accounts over the next 2-3 weeks. That alone pops the annual sales to $6.3 million and when the bottles are added, pushes sales over $25 million just in MI.
Nahhh, it's the right box. 99.9999% of the Badass sales are on this quarter and accelerating into next quarter with the release of the bottles this week.
My research shows that St. George has not sold a single share.
So, here's my thinking on the "Perfect Storm" scenario.
All this selling is NOT retail. Oh sure, some retail got caught up in the selling because that's what idiots do. They buy high and sell at the lows to throw in the towel. They leave a stock only to see it running at some point in the future without them in it.
This volume, which now is well over 8 million shares on the ask, comes since some "creative" money generating events have occurred. That makes me believe that one or two of the hedges that were holding preferreds have converted and are moving their shares out. Hedges do the same thing and why they acount for most of the massive losses in these markets. These guys are tired of waiting and are moving on. It's that simple IMO.
You won't see a filing. It will just show up in the numbers. So, with the likes of a CEOCast on board, which is known to be tied directly to some hedge players, they must have an entity scooping all these shares on the cheap at these prices. No retail players are accumulating these shares.
Once these preferreds are gone, then the new players control the game. It's like they always do. Grab as many shares as possible and then stage the run to the upside while leaving any retail sellers in their wake. Essentially, this is an open market transfer of a large share position.
The timing couldn't be any better. This quarter we're in now is massive. The quarter to come even more massive. These guys run stocks on any hint of accelerating sales and a company turnaround.
It's just a question of who has the b*lls to play with them down here and buy without fear. Then once those shares are gone, there isn't a single person that can jump up to stop the run. You can say anything but it is SHARES that speak the loudest. And those shares will take this stock where ever they choose to take it.
Oh, and for further information. There is not a single one of 10 million "shares for borrow" in the market. Everyone has totally misinterpreted this financing and will do so until they find out exactly what is going on. Talking here does what it always does...confuses and shows the inability to even come close to what is actually happening for this company.
Least expensive draught beer on the menu.
As if Kid would have it any other way!

By the way, the 28 oz. size is $5.00 at this place. Now, that is a good price for any bar!
That's the problem. It is on ALL paperwork leading up to and including an agreement with each distributor.
Distributor + focusing only on making money = ineptness in most cases.
It is Badass. Lack of distributor education in this case which is all too common. Look also at the keg labels for Lion Brewery in Wilkes Barre.
Also Bad Ass.
They will be paying to correct it IMO.
Badass Beer Taste Review has been updated for those that wanted to whine about that the other day. Now I suppose someone will whine it doesn't have enough alcohol content.
Bad Ass Beer (4% ABV)
Crisp, refreshing and smooth as a traditional lager can be. Delivers a nice hit of carbonation at first and finishes with a slight citrus note. This is a highly approachable beer that delivers a bright lager flavor without even a hint of aftertaste. Cascade hops light up the aroma while balancing the brew. Brewed for maximum appeal and slamability. Midwestern malted barley and hard, red winter wheat from Michigan, transform water from the Saginaw Aquifer into a beer that's a true American lager and truly Badass.
Which places Binnis? Especially the red, white, and blue?

I'm heading up to Michigan this weekend. I'll ask around to see what I can find out. But if I had to put some money on it. I doubt anyone there knows either. At this point, they are all racking their brains trying to figure out how misspelling Americas in a web header is trapping the price at 8 cents.
Yeah, but what good is it to have all these places of production and nobody buying the product? As soon as we can get away from every drop being made being sold and manufacturing 24/7 and a waiting list growing nationwide and a few million people screaming for the beer in their state now, then we will have a winner.
Oh wait. Huh?
MBC's second location opened this week @ 402 Washington St. in Downtown Lansing! Unlimited Bad Ass Beer flowing on tap along with 15 other Michigan hand-crafted brews! All being produced on site.
Website is up! Booyah!!!!!!!!!!
www.drinksamericas.com
What a joke! I thought perhaps the hint of "Put Your Ray Bans On" might be leading to Kid Rock and a trading alert for DKAM today.
That would be too simple and make perfect sense.
Nope, the alert is for a solar stock XSNX. Oh yeah, here's an opportunity worth screaming for. Yeah right! Get this...
XSNX has 189 million shares outstanding. Over 50% dilution rate in the past three years.
And this alert says to take advantage of the massive solar industry with all that is coming XSNX's way. OK, so how much is coming their way?
Sales for the past quarter: ZERO
Sales for the past year: ZERO
Sales for the past FOUR years: ZERO
Loss per share? 5 cents. Sound familiar? DKAM Loss per share? 5 cents on ONE HALF the shares
Market Cap? Oh, it is FOUR TIMES that of DKAM.
200 dma? Same as DKAM at .14
52 week low? .095. Closed yesterday at .11. Was just up 100% a few minutes ago at .22.
This just proves the idiotic mentality that pervades this market, and particularly these companies that ARE out and out scams.
Badass Beer finally on the MBC Website as "On Tap"
Took them long enough but because they've been a little busy.
