Actually the video looks really professional. I feel like it could be a commercial or something. Hopefully they do more with it then just leaving it on Vimeo. One thing though from the layoffs and everything seems like they've lost a lot of talent.
Thanks. I think I like the new design better looks a little more futuristic.
Just curious how do you know the V design is changing?
Basically no mention of aiWARE.
Yes and hopefully it includes Ask Veri. The Amazon connection seems to be growing stronger but I really don't expect anything for a couple of months. Biggest thing I think that happens is a sale of Veritone One.
Ya I thought the Bedrock and aiWARE comparison was interesting. Not sure how I feel about it kinda tells me AWS may be trying to replace them with their own solution. Overall the interviewer asked great questions and RS was concise and effective in answering them. DOJ and I would argue Border Patrol using Veritone's solutions makes a lot of sense to me since they do have that municipality buy in.
Looks like Veritone is trying to make a case to have their technology used at the border.

From a LinkedIn post https://www.linkedin.com/showcase/hlworkplace/
We’re excited to welcome AI solutions company Veritone to HL Workplace.
We’ve had a great time speaking to employees about their redesigned workplace pension scheme.
Welcome, Veritone!

Also Veritone process it seems like a ton of data. Between all the police departments, major network companies and HR tech. I would think from that alone organizations would want to purchase Veritone outright.
Surprising to see it up so much. I though the earnings call was ok. Nothing really new again but like you said threw carrots out there. I do have confidence in the new public safety offering. Makes me feel like they should've had a product out like this years ago and wish they never went down the energy path. The fact that aiware wasn't mentioned once was disheartening. Why? Seems like more wait and see.
No mention of Veritone.
Well it’s definitely the reason why Veritone is moving up today. Would be nice if they seized the momentum
Is that an increase? I don’t remember the old percentage.

Grasping at straws but maybe Veritone working with aws on this

Might actually just be more of Veritone using aws and not the other way around. All the recent departures from aiWARE has me nervous tho.
I logged into aiware.com and a notification mentioned an update 3 hours ago. It does look like some features were added.
Ya I mean he's still staying on for another year but defiantly took a serious pay cut. At some point they need to push aiWARE, I would imagine. If they fail at least go down swinging. They've been developing this platform for 7+ years they must be ready to at least market the product. No faith though it turns into revenue.
Ya this might be the end. Unless they can pivot but I don't see it. I guess to get to $10 a share shouldn't be to crazy but no confidence in the company.
It just keeps getting better

Ya I read through that blog post as well. I like them taking the time to explain the algorithms and why they stand out. But to not even tease how aiWARE can improve how these models are deployed or why aiWARE is a competitive advantage is weird. I don’t know maybe it’s still not ready.
Ya it’s a great point. They’ve definitely haven’t been successful up to this point executing on the AI boom. I guess with AION and the recent AI platforms from the big players there’s some hope. Veritone has got to actually prove their technology belongs or bankruptcy is inevitable. I just think the next 6 months are critical.
Ya I agree the vision CS saw for AI is starting to come alive. And it’s weird they don’t market aiWARE at all. That’s an interesting point tho if Snowflake just adopted what Veritone had or just improved on the tech and left Veritone out in the cold. If that were the case I would hope they would be marketing aiWARE. Idk but the time to see progress is the next 6 months.
From the white paper
With Snowflake’s native support of semi-structured JSON data, and the aiWARE AI Object Notation (AION) standard, customers have a fluid path to analyze tabular and unstructured data side-by-side within the Snowflake data cloud environment.
Maybe AION standard is how Veritone distinguishes itself.
Consumption of unstructured data was up 17x year over year.
This is from snowflakes recent earnings. Looks like they are undergoing a shift in what type of data they are processing. Veritone needs to be apart of this transformation.

Sam Altman out as CEO. Wonder what’s behind it. Maybe LLMs are running into some structural issues and they aren’t living up to the all the hype. Pure speculation.

Ya idk what to think anymore. Only holding on because I'm down so much. Thinking about the poor LinkedIn reviews, I only think Veritone achieves growth if aiWARE is basically its own entity away from the chaos. With the new updates hopefully it's actually ready for primetime to start generating some revenue. The call references the DOJ buildings solutions using aiWARE, so hopefully that brings credibility/revenue.
Ya I was wondering what a non software part of the business is. Thanks for the info though.
He basically just said they're are being conservative but Amazon is still a valuable partner and customer but he didn't give any details on it.
I thought I heard him say they need 15 million of unencumbered cash?
Glad some questions finally got asked but this was very disappointing. Did you understand the part where they said 87 million is out the door over the next 12 months? Also I guess Amazon is still a customer but not really spending any money. Also looks like they had a deal for 100 million to sell apart of the business but it fell through.

Can only hope Veritone is involved.
“As Veritone executes its long-term strategy and embarks on its next phase of disruptive growth, I am thrilled to announce the addition of Michael Zilis as an independent director to our Board,” said Ryan Steelberg, Chief Executive Officer and President of Veritone.
I guess will see soon how disruptive the growth is.

is it possible I could get the email??...
Yes a great sign that aiWARE adoption is around the corner. I wonder if it took so long to release the PR because of the protest by Microsoft. I find this paragraph from the PR interesting.
Additionally, the DOJ can leverage Veritone partners, including Deloitte, CACI, PAE, and Leidos, each of which holds a position on the DOJ’s $1.5 billion automated litigation support contract. Veritone’s relationships with these key partners provide the DOJ with access to Veritone’s world-class AI technology and services for task orders placed under the $1.5 billion contract as well.
Once I log in it just has aiWARE™
