I got hosed!
Threw....My TD Ameritrade streamer went out. I got in an order at 3:58 @ .08 and was not filled. Where did the stock close?...Thanks ...Jim
Threw...I am in another cutting edge biotech. The big difference is that MZEI doesn't have to go thru a formal FDA protocol as financially demanding and time consuming as does a drug concern. Medical equipment is a piece of cake and that is a real plus here and to many investors. We must be on the verge of attracting the institutional market. Also glad the company is fully reporting. Plans for a move to AMEX no doubt.
Bro jimss..."the posters here closed the deal for me"
Here is a question for you, lil' brother. What do these posters have in common?...Norton, Threw, webpence, goforThebet, RedStick, you, and myself?
Threw...With the thin float, this should be a real runner when news hits. The other scenario is that this stock just starts to run on its own as more people realize what a potential money machine this truly will become!....Starting to hyperventilate.
Threw...Looks like those .073's that I got are a thing of the past. This stock trades real thin and I'll bet it won't take much buying to see this go above 12 cents!....Jim
goforthebet....My concerns aren't serious enough to keep me from accumulating this one.
The medical community is one rugged industry. Cheap tricks and even murder surround big pharmas that want to maintain their market share. Hopefully the sterile room market is not any one pharmaceutical's domain. This procedure could revolutionize the industry and create a viable alternative to high infectious hospital costs.
My other concern is the efficatiousness of the procedure. Most bacteria is capable of morphing and becoming resistent to a once lethal agent. could this happen to the ozone treatment?
All the rest of what I have seen is exciting and could be a big hit very soon.....Jim
Threw..Just back from a pleasant vacation. left the computer at home and didn't check a quote in a month. Ready for some action!
Threw ....never a doubt. How ya doin'?
goforthebet.....Thanks for the heads up on this stock.
I listended to the video this AM and checked with a couple of hospital CEO's. That was enough DD for me!
I have been banging on the .073 asked and got a position. I will buy more on Monday. This could be a very big play. I have a couple of concerns, but the price is right to take the risk....Glad to see brother Jim here and more from our other stock....Thanks again Go - Jim
RedStick....No, I wasn't vigilant enough. I do like the stock and really like it below a dollar. I think that we will get another shot at lower than a buck prices and I'll Be buying....Jim
Red....Great work on the CMIN chart. It looks like you identified a good spot to get in as it is very oversold and could get a pullback to the 1.20's.
As I am still checking out a few details, I don't think that I would buy unless it got down around the dollar range.....Jim
the cork...."Miners in Peru and South Africa are threatening to strike for higher wages."
I hear ya! I only own miners in US, Canada, and Mexico. The risk goes up in other parts of the world. The carrot that this stock is dangling - 50-100 million ounces of gold - may be worth the political risk....Good observation....Jim
gofor and Threw....Thanks and looking forward to your input!
goforthebet....Here is a gold stock that I am DD'ing and could have great promise. I'll need some help from Threw or Red on the chart.
Constitution Mining Corp (OTCBB:CMIN)
Here is an article from Resource World Magazine:
http://www.constitutionmining.com/reports/ResourceWorldMag.pdf
The company's web site;
http://constitutionmining.com/index2.asp
This is an alluvial mining play in South America. Management looks very respectable and the potential deposit could approach 100 million ounces. It is worth digging into. All comments pro and con are welcome as i am trying to determine if this is worth the risk.....Jim
New site!
Good for you boys. Looks like a good place to exchange ideas. Presenting an idea to the board as per the guidlines will be time consuming and may limit the # of new mining ideas. Nothing at all wrong with that!.....GL.....Jim
c70....."I am convinced that SRSR has dollars in its future. I am betting on this and making the commitment....Jim"
Chris, that guy that you quoted is right on the money! Also, he is very talented, handsome, and is always right....ROTF....Thanks for the kind words......Jim
Dobie....Right on my friend. I got your bottle ready for shipment, but I think that I heard that a group of Chinese are at the Chapleau Hilton waiting for Scott to get there. While waiting, the Chinese contingent are fishing on Lake Nemegosenda chasing the elusive lake trout!....Jim
doberman...."After reading some of the more whinier posts, I now know who I would like to have in the trenches with me and who I would shoot! LOL."
How about you, I, OntaREEo, Homey - G, gofor, ripper, et al with a bottle of Dom and Bombay Sapphire in that fox hole. I could weather a lot of bad juju with those folks and a little libation....It is indeed all good...Jim
deli...."One good reason not to uplist,or the only reason I could think of. Scott would have to list the source off any funding (privite placement) in the financials."
Great observation! Makes good sense if we are indeed in a "quiet period" that requires confidentiality.
Teedlum...."Ockham's razor :)"
Another philosophy major out there - LOL
homey and Threw-er-back....OntaREEo is a lot closer to Scott than I and if he has come up with the same theory, it certainly places a lot more validity in the conclusions than just my WAG.
You just don't prove up BILLIONS of dollars in Niobium without attracting a big serious buying element. There are groups out there that need to lock up the deposit that SRSR is working on and they need to do it NOW. After the next NI, the competition wanting in on our property increases. So my best guess is that we see a deal in the next few months.
There is one astute buyer out there who may have locked up or is in the process of locking up a deal with Sarissa. This deal will not only benefit the commodity buyer who may be presently funding the drilling, but really put the stock in home run territory as the terms of this deal are made known. This could be dollar pps material for our little lady as it may eliminate a lot of the financing risk inherent in start ups. We know that we have a multi-billion dollar deposit, we just don't have the capital to develop it. Taking the capital out of the equation is a big, big factor. We'll soon find out!
I am having a hard time coming up with another scenario given all the clues that we presently have. JV is not in the works. Any continued weakness in the stock is a gift.....Jim
OntaREEo......"This last PR stems from their apparent sense that something material has transpired that needs to be disclosed, and yet was lacking in some details which could be consistent with a confidentiality they perhaps need to maintain."
You nailed it as I have been pondering this situation since the July 9 PR. My thought is that they got a big financier whose goal is to buy the Ni and REE's from the company once mined. In order to get a lock on the product, the "big boy" is financing the costs up to mining, i.e. an off take agreement.
The company's posture since the release of the July 9 PR has been low profile to say the least. The irony is that on the 27th of July we got the biggest news in the company's history and it was treated in a very low-key manner. It was almost like Scott was releasing the PR announcing the NI just to get it over with so he could get back to something huge that he was working on. Merle says that it is so huge that he can't even "hint" about it. The confidentiality that is present during this "quiet" period and the low-key release and aftermath of the National Instrument 43-101 is an indication to me that something very significant is in the works.
If this were business as usual, we would have gotten an update/explanation of the NI report that would have included all the positive ramifications of proving up these BILLIONs of dollars worth of resources. We got zip, nada, zilch on the biggest event to date in Scott's tenure as CEO. The silence on this significant resource verification is deafening and portends an undisclosed major event presently in the works.
What and when is the question of the day, but I believe that we are going to find out a lot sooner than 18 months down the line. Got SRSR - getting more!....It's all good....Jim
PS I am hoping we hear from Turbo and a few other stock chasers as I would love to get some more stock in the nickel range. That wouldn't hurt my feelings in the least! Lower stock prices now....It's all good!!!!
Emergcy....."I am completly fed up. I am here where I started 1,5 years ago with my first buys. We run recently up from 0,06 to 0,2 and now haveing the official NI report we are back at 0,078....."
Congratulations! Since you bought back in February of 2008, which was 1.5 years ago as you have confided, your investment has gone up by a factor of 10. I think that in this marketplace you will be hard pressed to find a better return.
No one is real happy with the short term drop from over 20 cents, but it is certainly part of the territory. Teedlum has nailed it on the nuts as sentiment like yours is a good indicator of a genuine buying op. I know that I am. Good luck and good investing!....Jim

JPS02..."Hi Jim, I didn't mean to accuse Scott or anyone of manipulating anything. I respect his efforts a lot and he and his management have done a great job and they deserve to be rewarded for how far they have brought SRSR."
Heh, I may have come out of the shoot a bit too strong. I apologize for jumping to conclusions. I just had a bad AM and was a bit too touchy this morning. Apology accepted and please accept mine.....It's all good....Jim
JPS02..."I wouldn't be surprised if the pps is higher in November given the 2 years will be up. The next few months will be interesting. I am holding long here and looking to add."
I couldn't disagree with you more! The stock should be up, but to imply that Scott would "manipulate"the fundamentals for personal gain is quite a bold accusation. What you are implying is illegal and would land Scott in the slammer. You may want to rethink your "opinion" in the face of no evidence.
JPGetty...."But I'm always baffled by the use of $20/lb for niobium. My reading indicates it can actually be much higher, nearer to $30/35 a pound.....Am I wrong, Jim?"
Yes, you are incorrect. This is an exerpt from the recent NI 43-101 report. I am not being conservative, just accurate.....Jim
“Ferro-Niobium prices increased sharply from mid-2007…By May 2008, spot prices had risen to US$39.70-41.90/kg (US$18-19/lb), with producer prices at US$35.30-36.40/kg (US$16-16.50/lb). In November 2008 a benchmark contract price of US$43.00-46.00/kg (US$19.50-21/lb) was reported. Prices remained at that level in early 2009.”
JPGetty...."Will the second NI report cover only the SE zone? Or are there any further results to be released concerning the D zone?"
Both Zones will be covered. There is still much drilling left to be done in D Zone to get to Measured and indicated - also open laterally and at depth. The Se Zone is even bigger and there are more targets left to drill besides the D & Se Zones. We could spend another 3 years on drilling and proving up reserves. I am sure that when a firm plan is decided, we'll know.
"And what of the gold deposits? Is there to be drilling conducted in that area, with a corresponding NI report on that?"
Our gold property is another matter. I think that there may be a JV on the property and that it could be sold after proving up reserves. SRSR is most likely using this property to pay for further work on Nemegosenda. I would be very surprised if they intended to take the gold property to production...
webpence...."Your $12.8 billion profit calculations are based on Sarissa doing the drilling themselves, correct?"
Sarissa is doing the drilling and proving up more resources. The $12.8 billion gross profit was calculated based upon mining costs that presently exist. The profit will belong to whomever does the mining - Sarissa or another mining concern.
"I'd like to know how the company is financing their current round of drilling."
Don't know, but I am willing to bet that the answer will be revealed in a PR.
"One last question. Scott deferred taking a salary for his first two years, which started in 11/2007, and instead received 30 million shares of the company. So, what happens in November of this year? Any idea?"
I don't have the foggiest idea, but I do know that Scott is not dependent upon a salary to keep he and family fed and housed. His main thrust is on the success of this company. It is my strong belief that money is not the motivating factor in Scott's life. It is the mining legacy that he is creating at lake Nemegosenda. You can't place a price on the Canadian Hall of Fame!.....Jim
PAJOE...."i know people who sat down with the CEO"
Yes, there are about 6 on this board that have. It is imperative that an ivestor have a strong confidence in the CEO and first hand knowledge is absolutely essential. Scott is a good man - period - end of story....GLTA...Jim
wenpence..."Glad to see this post got the sticky it deserves."
Don't know about the worthiness of the post, but those numbers in it sure do deserve a standing ovation from the mining folks. We will never get to the mining phase without a number of very attractive offers. Most of these world class deposits that are controlled by a junior minor get bought out before the mining phase is even close. I believe that $50-$100 of proven reserves will command a very healthy buyout. It could happen as this would be the industry norm. The trump card is that Scott Keevil is not an industry norm as he has the experience and savvy to take this to mining if he so desires.
Scott is a real pro at developing a deposit and he has and is doing all the right things. This is a marvelous story that is unfolding before our very eyes as we banter back and forth on Ihub. This is real mining history in the making on a property that has a shot at #2 world Niobium ranking.
What's not to love here? I am absolutely head over heals in love with this fine lady. This could be a life time commitment....Jim
JPGetty....."When would you expect the second NI report to be released? Before year's end?"
There is no way of knowing at this point as Sarissa has not spelled out the extent of the drilling program. I would expect to see a National Instrument out about 3 months after the labs were in from the drilling program. This year? Maybe....Just have to wait for the company to update us.
jims406ss'.....Yes Bro we're in the bigs now.
Forget the Pinks and all the associated trash that goes with it. We have our first NI 43-101 that says we have an indicated and inferred resource that is currently valued at close to $10 BILLION. The amazing thing is that we have only scratched the surface of the Lake Nemegosenda deposit. This elephant is going to get a heck of a lot bigger!
Ten Billion dollar deposit is equivalent to a gold deposit of 10.695 million ounces. That's an elephant deposit in anyone's book.
Yes Jimmy, we're in the big leagues right now without the associated share price. Ya think this may be a good buy right here...ROFLMAO....Just wait for the second NI report! It only gets better....Older brother Jimmy
SPARK...Yes, gotta love that $12.8 BILLION in projected profits, but as the Carpenters once sang, "We've only just begun"!...Good times ahead...Jim
JT3Jon..."just started exploring this stock so posts like these are a real treat! I have a question though; anyone know how much it would cost (roughly) to get the deposits actually out of the ground?"
Scott didn't enter this rodeo without having a real good idea of what the costs to mine this deposit would be. Although we will not get an official calculation until the prefeasibility study is completed and that, by the way, has started in phase two as I write.
What we do know is that a thousand tonnes of ore from the D Zone was processed a number of years ago and even with a more antiquated mineral processing regimen, the result was a very respectable 90% recovery rate.
Scott also made a statement that he estimated costs to run about 40% of projected revenue. Here is a real down and dirty estimate of the gross mining profit based upon the following assumptions:
1) 90% recovery rate (will be higher as metallurgy techniques are now greatly improved)
2) Average grade of Niobium - .43%
3) Price - $20/lb
4) Mining costs of extraction and milling - Gross profit on 1 tonne of .43% deposit:
2204.6 lbs/tonne X .0043 = 9.48 lbs Ni X 90% recovery = 8.53 lbs processed X 20$ = $170.64 gross minus 40% mining costs =
$102.38 gross profit per tonne
The total deposit in both the D zone and the SE Zone is presently 45,265,285 tonnes of .43% Ni and 98,000,000 of .35% Ni giving us a gross profit in the D zone of $4,634,333,386 and $8,166,720,240 gross in the Se Zone.
For the small portion of the deposit that we presently have identified and if my assumptions are close to reality, we are looking at a mining profit of $12.8 BILLION.
Think there isn't some serious professional interest in our Lake Nemegosenda deposit. You better damn well believe it, Sparky. This is the big leagues and these are big league numbers. Now you may understand why Scott and the boys are so excited!....It's all good and I am just as excited as they are...Good investing.....Jim
deadcatflounce...."any ballpark on when phase 2 report may come out ?"
When they are done with drilling, all the labs are back, and the QP gets the NI completed.
Your guess is as good as mine, but it should be sometime before the 2012 Presidential election..LOL...Jim
ajanisch...."It would be really nice if they could get more than one drill working."
It would be great to have 3-4 rigs working, but it is a matter of cost. Although if they could get the drilling done in a third of the time and another NI 43-101 out much sooner, the stock's potential increase may be enough to justify the higher short term costs.
Higher stock price equates to a lower amount of stock being sold in a PP and that has to be good.....Won't know about the drill situation until they PR it....Jim
konastitch....Yes, it can get frustrating when we get too focused on the here and now. All of us want to see results immediately and that is contrary to what happens in the mining business. Need to always remember the prize at the end of the long race. We got the goods and Mgt. - all we need is the time to complete property value.
"God, please give me patience - and give it to me NOW!"....Jim
I Go Long..."If he's correct about not doing a JV, why bother with this other $2M drilling program? They have the NI and they know what's in the ground. Why not just get started? I would think they are going through this whole other process in order to prove there is more more worth under the ground so they can negotiate a better JV."
In the mining business, there are basically three phases to a company's maturation:
1) Exploration phase - finding/locating a deposit
2) Development phase - after a deposit has been discovered, extensive drilling program to "prove up" resources and reserves.
3) Mining phase - actual extraction and sale of the deposit.
Some companies focus only on exploration, while others are successful in locating a deposit and proving up the resource. The majority of junior minors are in this category and never plan to get to the mining phase. In order to mine a deposit of the magnitude of this elephant property, large capital/personnel resources are needed. It is a rare junior minor that ever gets as far as the mining stage. The big money for them is in either locating a big deposit / proving it up.
After the deposit has been located and a drilling program completed, the junior minor can either partner up with a larger mining concern that has the resources and expertise to bring the property to the mining phase or sell the property outright.
The junior minor will normally attempt to do as much drilling as possible as the more reserves that are on the balance sheet (this would be proven and probable reserves as measured and indicated are resources that cannot be held as an asset), the greater the sale price of the property will be.
In my very limited opinion, SRSR is in this development stage and is attempting to do as much drilling on its own as possible. This will ensure that the stockholders will get top dollar for their holdings should a property sale occur. If a JV/Off Take is chosen, the company will have a stronger bargaining position as the partner needs to "buy in" at a greater value.
As far as I can see, SRSR is doing one heck of a great job in taking this property solo for as long as they can. The more that we prove up on our own, the greater the value that will / must be reflected in the stock price. I am anticipating a measured and indicated calculation for the D Zone and maybe even a "probable" calculation as the first step in a reserve calculation from this summer drill program.
Nothing from the company yet so these are just guesses, but I wouldn't want to be out of this stock when the the phase II drilling results are announced. I am welcoming this accumulation period for the stock and am adding every week to my already over the limit holdings of SRSR. Good luck all as it is all good!....Having a great summer....Jim
ripper....In one years time you can tell your boss to - "Take this job and shove it...."
