I recently posted about this problem. This tech is subject to US Export control as it affects the MTCR. The DOD, DOE, and other agencies will not authorize a tech transfer, export, or CRADA with the PRC or others without safeguards put in place to firewall the technology.
I do believe it will be a hard one to keep from being g disclosed over the long term
It’s out of our hands, so just hope for the best
I don’t agree with that assessment. A lot of long term investors on this board and elsewhere I surmise have sold positions in part or whole. I bought 50k at the bell and sold and did it 2 more times picking off the spread of .57 .62 & .79.
The spread during the day was 1.72 at it greatest point.
I’m sure numerous people with large positions and working capital are doing this. So to say the MM own this stock is a statement that is a bridge too far!
Out of curiosity, what was half? I bought an additional 75000 and haven’t sold a thing! Congrats on taking fat stacks off the table
Not Invented Here
I have sat on boards making these decisions and it’s hard to make this absolute statement without knowing terms of any buy out. Would they take 30.00 50.00 100.00 a share for cash or stock?
I don’t know, none of us know. I can tell you this the NIH crowd is concerned about LW and it’s potential to be a disrupter. The good ole boys don’t like disrupters.
So if they can take them out of the game on the cheap! They will do it!
Question is this: will the LW board be strong or cave?
Business Model as a Tech Incubator
That’s not a good business model to monetize and create Shareholder value.
The best track to raise the stock price is create partnerships leading to Q2Q sales growth.
However if you were an engineer with zero financial concern for the stock then it would be great
President Joe Biden issued a budget proposal that called for a 39.6% top capital gains tax rate. It would apply to taxpayers with income of more than $1 million. Combined with a 3.8% Medicare surtax, the richest Americans would pay a 43.4% top rate on capital gains.
Now talking to Congressional Staffers this is not going to pass. It will go up but I’m believing it will go to 28% plus the ridiculous 3.8% Obama Tax that Trump should have repealed. Also they should eliminate Carried Interest as this is income not Capital Gains.
I’m in favor of zero deductions and a flat 12% Flat Tax
23 years amazing! If I apply that same logic to LWLG, I more than
Likely won’t be of this earth.
Translated meaning: I will either be having my chin wiped by some Smokeshow 23 year old blonde nurse at home or had been cremated and scattered at Augusta National.
My Estate planning is solid but I will sell incrementally once I hit my marks but not below 60.00
Funny rumors
Good week for LWLG, many more on horizon
No problem, I own a fishing boat
I fished in the Pelagic Teiple Crown last week. We caught 9 Marlins but no money
I can host a group in Cabo
That’s great. Did you know that Force Protection was originally Sonic Boats? I heard about Lightwave from Doctor Francis, Colonel USAF, DARPA. We had problems with CEC operating in dense electronic warfare battle space with the processing of information both real and spoofing. He discussed photonics and said for us to watch this little company. I have been watching for years.
If that was an actual rocket! “Houston we have a problem”
Lightwave seeing some end of day profit taking but an unbelievable for all of us
Longs.
Waiting on NASDAQ uplisting and potential partnerships.
Long all the way!
$6-$1000 is a huge spread!
It is really nice to see the excitement here, however if this is real and I’m hoping it is you haven’t seen anything yet. I have had the fortune to be part of three (3) major runs with Force Protection (FRPT) Plug Power (PLUG) and Tesla (TSLA).
It’s crazy fun, the tough part is always the exit!
I cashed out 1/2 way through the run to 40 on FRPT
I stayed for PLUG till 53 and left some on the table
TSLA I cashed out half around 500
LWLG is a different beast, it’s a game changer, disrupter and has the potential to do amazing things in the transformation of this tech space.
So enjoy the ride and don’t get too greedy and also don’t fire too early. It’s so hard to make those decisions but when you do live with it! It took patience to stay the course. However we are still very early stage. I don’t want a buy out but I do have concerns about the major players and what or how they will react to LW as a real player and a threat!
I’m here LONG!
Not sure if this has been posted

Maybe some news forthcoming after the Bell?
Nothing filled at 4.25 EOM
It’s been that way the last 2 hours
I have an order in for 25k at 4.25 right now
There isn’t a lot of buying going on. I keep buying in blocks of 5k and 10k and stock stays flat or drops .01. So I buy more! Somebody is selling consistently at the bid price after every buy action. Interesting. The stock is holding but should run about .25
LW would have to go through a lot of hurdles on export control through the Dept. of State, DOD, and Dept of Commerce to get approval for technology transfer or export to foundries outside the USA. I’m not saying it can’t be done but it will take some convincing to get a TTA, TAA, and E/L for any hardware. The US Military believes this tech advances developers of the MTCR. Just an FYI
Closed 3.92
Money never sleeps
That’s a good update and data points. My concern is LRIP to confirm what they believe and then once that is proven. However the buy in cost might preclude LRIP and go straight to mass production. In either case I believe we are all fortunate to be involved from an investor standpoint and of course the diligence it took to stay the course. I had a few friends with a few million each that quit after 18 months and two years. I have been here for 7 years, which pales in comparison to some of you.
I don’t know about evil and good, I’m on the side of moving a stock with an exceptional upside with zero rev!
However if that is how you want to articulate this battle then let’s be good and just keep placing orders before the close. The interest has to be huge! I also believe the first contract has to be of meaningful size and projection, we cannot limp out of the gates.
Seems to be stuck at 3.97
Only Slightly more than 5000 shares have executed of the 50,000 placed. I may have to edit the order as we get closer to the end of the day
I don’t need anymore shares but to see what would happen I just placed an order for 50,000 shares.
As I expected only a few thousand have executed. If everybody here bought 5000 or more or even 1000 we could push this over the top for the day if the goal was to close at 4.00 or higher. Just a thought!!
Ok thanks for your response. I don’t know what many many shares is but ok
Have a good day!
I kinda creep on this message board and lately the posts have been really interesting.
To be clear I have watched LWLG for quite a while and started accumulating shares as they started evolving. Myself and about 4 other guys in the Defense and Space sectors believe based on what we know that polymers are the future. IBM and others have failed with stretching existing technologies that have reached there envelope thresholds so another technology had to be proven out. We do believe that existing players do not like what LW is doing as they have the potential to be a major disrupter. Let’s see where this goes? I’m here for the long run. I don’t post often and the wife is calling to get things ready for a family & friends Texas BBQ.
Happy Memorial Day! Freedom has a price!
That was interesting. I don’t believe fidelity would contact anybody on doing naked shorts.
How many shares do you have? Do you have a Private Wealth/Money Manager that handles
Your account? I highly doubt they would ever encourage anybody to procure LWLG within there
Account unless they were directed by the client to do so!
I’m in the tech sector as a CEO and I 100% believe in Lightwave. I have a substantial position in the company, but all the long term investors know the risk and accept it. it takes patience and hope that the management team executes a technical plan and then a marketing strategy in a sector or space that is full of competition. Lightwave is reinventing the wheel and it’s my opinion that Dr. L is on the right track!
In terms of your statement, if in fact Fidelity contacted you, was it a broker? Independent? I just find it odd. We all want good things to happen but we don’t over exuberance. We need fact based data.
I hope LW stays the course and doesn’t get acquired. They figure out how to monetize existing patents and keep it rolling. Like most here, I’m going to enjoy the journey.
Hoping for the best!
R
That’s funny because I woke up on a yacht in Cabo and I’m posting Love LWLG hoping fir the best
Hence the problem is that some Long Shareholders take some money off the table and the floor collapses.
Like I said I should have but didn’t for the reasons you stated. Further the new Biden tax laws will probably eliminate short and long term capital gain rates to ordinary income for AGI above 500k. I don’t expect that to happen this year but you never know. It is bound to happen prior to mid terms in 2022.
This was another lightwave run up, only to be sucked back down. I’m long but should have dumped a bunch of shares and then bought back in. However the FOMO is strong if it’s an actual real launch. Hoping for the best down the road! Staying committed
Thank you, Doctor Francis was director of DARPA
Funny, btw do you happen to know who Doctor Francis (Colonel USAF) is and his relation to LWLG?
I don’t want any problems or were to change anyone’s mind. I’m in this with you guys but like I said I will just read what you post and stay silent
I “believe” rumors got out that Lightwave was in talks to be acquired. Then a handful of people started buying and giving that it’s hard to acquire large blocks of stock, the number started creeping up and holders are now sellers. Not all but enough. I’m sure people on this board are selling, knocking off 50-100k profit margins. It’s good to take some off the table. Then wait for the pull back and buy again. I have little faith in the business side of lightwave and their inability to communicate positive news on how they monetize.
I have run many companies from Angel to IPO, it takes a team all in a same plan. Lightwave Tech is solid real tech and if you have tenacity and they can manage Cashflow then they to will be a success story!
Steve et al:
I have 3x that amount and a friend has 3.5m. We have been here for a long time! Rode PLUG, plus a few pink sheet tech through acquisition. I’m definitely not sure what is going on with this run up but it concerns me, both in a good way and cautious way. Two weeks I believed they were in acquisitions talks but now I don’t see it. They need to be proactive with PR to the Invester community on how they will monetize the IP. I don’t believe they have a mature product to sell direct. Just my opinion!
I was Pre IPO on SAIL, ASAN, PLTR. These are all very well run companies. However it would sure be nice to hit a baseloaded grand slam in the bottom of the 9th to win it all with Lightwave. Good luck
I don't believe the Lebby Team are savvy business types. They are purely technologists and my hopes are that they acquired experts that know how to navigate go to market strategies that are focused on shareholder values. Thats my hope but I have no idea. Based on communications history it doesn't appear so! just hoping for the best as the tech is solid
