Everyone with a significant position has to be ticked off at the price action in light of the medical journal news and imminent FDa and Japanese decisions. Just stay the course..the end is so so close.
I bought yesterday on the dip and thought I was smart. Today in the red and feeling pretty dumb as well.
I have a boatload at an average of $4.60...still a believer, but can’t bring myself to buy more at this level. Probably regret it, but ....
It’s humorous to listen to all theories about today’s action. The only virtual “sure thing” is that closing above a buck and near day’s high is a very very strong indicator. I can’t see a $4 or more valuation before TLD because there is no solid basis for that lofty valuation.
I do think that Eu moving the goalposts is the reason for today’s rise and shorts are feeling squeezed. Likelihood of success is dramatically enhanced, but let’s all keep some restraint as to short term valuation without any verified news.
Way under water, but still optimistic. That said, for first time no inclination to average down. I see this stagnant until end of year, so for now imho it’s dead money. I think this eventually will be double digits, but I also see $3 potential as shorts continue to take it down.
Strange trading with no apparent reason or news
Canon anyone mare sense and explain today’s price action. We hit 62 cents and last 20 mnuteshave a major rebound with no news. Crazy!
Any thoughts about this?
They aren’t going to buy NWBO until TLD is revealed. How can they justify a buy out at $12 or more fore a non listed small cap that was just 34 cents
So that’s my experience after 10 years. I bought at $6 and every point down. Last week after a decade, I was finally in the black. Not selling at a buck. I waited for 10 years with a $100k of dead money, not satisfied with $/1. First stop for me is TLD to take some money off the table
Anyone have thoughts about good entry point? I thought it was a buy at $3.99,but.....
Today’s down turn begs the question WHY? Mind boggling but a true buying opportunity.
Don’t know how anyone could NOT be disappointed after significant news. What’s going on with incredible volume?.
So while everyone is disappointed that no news has been forthcoming as promised from June CC, history of biotechs is that no time line is accurate. With short position and virtually no float, any positive news will get this to $7-8 imho. In the interim, shorts enjoy inter-day swings.
Unfortunately most shareholders hanging on “news by end of summer “. Appreciate your intelligent comments always. Patience will be rewarded...just not as quickly as one would like
Well our streak ends at 1. So it starts to run @ $4.68 and we close in the red. Such much manipulation. Hopefully one day soon the shorts will play this game one day too long.
If we are in the green tomorrow I will begin to believe that we are really starting our run up to positive announcements. Otherwise it will be more of mm manipulation. There is enough in the near future to get us back to mid $5., where we were a month ago. Low volume combined with 5% upward move is encouraging sign.
Nice to see Baker a Bros. Have increased their ownership to 13.8 million shares. They are brilliant and extremely patient for results.
Great hope, but I for one see a buyout from big pharma at $15-20, which would make me happy. Don’t think company and it’s size can ever maximize it’s potential.
Merck and company are all looking for new pipelines and Brx fits that model perfectly.
Would you take $15 on the bid?
Unfortunately for now they are controlling the message. This stock requires shareholders who are willing to long beyond a quarter
Significant AH move rolling up day. Can something actually be happening. Can’t believe the positive piece in SA could make that difference
Everyone expected more, but significant announcement
Hard to not be excited about where we are today and going forward. For those who were hoping for a Big Bang they are disappointed but if you can wait 1 to 2 quarters the payoff will be significant
In my experience, the quarterly cc usually isn’t the forum for big announcements. The usually use PR before if there is going to a Big Bang. Hope i’m Wrong.
Don’t you think every and I mean every Big Pharma has it on their radar?
Are you adding at these prices.
I totally agree, shorts are scared and know big big news could be forthcoming
It’s coming...be patient and today’s volume supports that assertion.
It’s Summer. It’s up big last week. It had an upgrade. Pre-market up big....is it time to fasten your seatbelt?
Totally agree. There is no underlying reason for this close
You get only one chance for a good first impression. I’m under water even adding at these levels, but I understand that Bcrx is a tiny biotech and if they don’t have the goods and undeniable results, BP’s. Are going to destroy this company to pick it at a fire sale.
A lot riding on PR releases and the future of the company. Not happy with $4.08sp, but if it takes a month longer to bring indisputable results so be it. The underlying issues..ie. Pipeline should give us comfort.

We should all let the company get the data in place and not rush any premature PR release. The dire situation will aid the company but BCRX has to get it right for a successful launch even it takes longer than day traders would like. Hence the decline in the price we’ve seen.
Similar timeframe.....slightly lower avg cost. Don’t think it’s realistic to see that number. Imho, anything north of $10 is a reasonable exit figure. Even with the best data and outlook, massive journey from .35 cents. How long did it take to get back to .35 cents?
Every hour the news from Brazil is more dire. They are desperate for any treatment so it plays into our hands
Where do we go from here? Assuming the first testing in a Phase 1 is positive, what would that mean for commercialization? Many many drugs do sensational in a Phase 1 and 2, yet most implode in Phase 3.Is Operation Warp Speed going to bypass ph 2&3?.
There is talk about hospitals stocking inventory of our drug and ramping up production based just on Phase 1. Is this possible?.
Trading like a real stock, with shorting and pre-market games. Maybe our time has come. Glad that company is not hyping with premature results in Brazil
So many unanswered questions or questions ignored, however this is the most specificity we’ve ever gotten. The timeline is huge, but she does a disservice to herself and shareholders by ignoring important questions that deserve an answer.
As the days dwindle down before ASM, without a big PR announcement prior, we’re going into that meeting at 16 cents. Therefore no expectation of a BIG Announcement is realistic at the meeting unless prior to that, we get more than the tease that “it’s going to be an interesting meeting “.
First time posting but long time shareholder. Can anyone tell me how increasing dilution about a week before shareholders meeting is anything but a massive red flag as to any positive development...
