The saddest thing about this? The 3 videos used as an example of partnerships are using Zoom, hahahaha.
Even the guy who got money from Verb to put Rory on his show is using Zoom, it has the Zoom logo all over his screen, and I know people will say well that video is from early this year, you can go to his youtube account, even his videos from this week are from Zoom because that is what he uses to give his virtual seminars, because unlike Verb Live, Zoom works.
Do you know who also uses Zoom? Verb for their meetings.
Do your own DD, because yeah, well, this is just, like, my opinion, man.
Ohh it will, part of the reason they want it up before that
Do your own DD, because yeah, well, this is just, like, my opinion, man.
Well because he is in negotiations right now, so he needs to show the stock going up and dynamic. That why he would do anything for this thing to close over $1.20 today, he needs it, because he has nothing else than bad products nobody is buying.
The problem is and will be that as long as the "up" on the price is not supported by new products or actual news it won't last.
Rory is now reorganizing the company again, he had a big meeting yesterday to move a lot of people around, they used Zoom for that meeting by the way, so this just means a new pivot.
They need to finish something, anything at this point, Microsoft, Salesforce, and companies big enough to make a difference don't want a new pivot every 6 months, but a product that people actually use, and enough people using it to justify over 1 million cash burn every month.
Do your own DD, because yeah, well, this is just, like, my opinion, man.
Here is my prediction I think Rory will fight for the stock to close this week around $1.20, then he will release a rushed public version of Live probably the end of this week or early next week, he needs to have Live out even if it doesn't fully work.
The stock will keep losing around 0.5 dollars a week, closing around 1.10 around Christmas back to where it was before, and then we will see the new dilution announcement.
Do your own DD, because yeah, well, this is just, like, my opinion, man.
Yeah, Microsoft does too, they have been there for over a year, but no integration or joint campaign has been truly embraced by either company.
Remember when Microsoft had a new feature on their SharePoint for interactive video and everybody said it was Verb's, and turned out to be Microsoft's own technology they end up discontinuing because it wasn't well-received? back then Verb had somebody from Microsoft on the board.
Remember when Salesforce was gonna have a joint marketing campaign with Verb but never happened and they kept using Zoom for all their meetings and presentations? back then Verb had somebody from Salesforce on the board.
Is not who you pay to sit on a board, is what you can deliver in products.
Do your own DD, because yeah, well, this is just, like, my opinion, man.
Wasn't the "joint" marketing campaign announced months before that event even happened? So why would Salesforce need an online poll to know who to promote if they already had a joint marketing campaign planned with Verb and they sent Tal Golan months before to prepare everything?
I mean the problem with Rory's lies is hard to keep them on the same timeline, maybe his next pivot is Verb's multiverse. Spoiler alert he hasn't finish any product in any of them.
Do your own DD, because yeah, well, this is just, like, my opinion, man.
Let's be clear, Salesforce didn't award them anything, they won an online poll on Twitter anybody could vote as many times as they wanted.
That "win" is in no way an endorsement from Saleforce. They won an online poll!
Everybody Rory hires is useless because he doesn't want anybody questioning his ideas, so he only hires people that will comply and say yes. He has a long list of people he brought into the company to be game changers and didn't deliver anything.
Do your own DD, because yeah, well, this is just, like, my opinion, man.
I am also hearing Chad is moving to an advisory role because he wasn't able to deliver, but they don't want to kick him out and have to admit they are failing.
But there is a new Tech Sheriff in town!
Do your own DD, because yeah, well, this is just, like, my opinion, man.
As I said this just means Rory needs more money and he has been spreading lies around to get people to buy. And yes is a huge volume, but we all know all he needs is to start the snowball rolling to trigger the auto buys from trader software, alert messages to trader's groups, and well people just trying to get some of their money back and get out of this stock.
I am guessing he is going to announce another round of funding, probably gonna try to price it around 1.05, because with him wasting money to appear on TV shows they are surely out of money.
Guess the Microsoft or Salesforce takeover was canceled, just like the joint marketing campaigns, the wide launch of Live, and the Outlook plugin.
Do your own DD, because yeah, well, this is just, like, my opinion, man.
This is the normal Rory playbook: create a pivot that you can say is coming and everything is gonna change, that is the 2 minute to pivot show, then tell some people something big is coming to get the stock up and then raise money out of that.
So clearly a money raise is coming probably by end of the year or January, more dilutive financing of course because no bank would touch this stock.
And I am sure glad of that.
Do your own DD, because yeah, well, this is just, like, my opinion, man.
And the time he said Salesforce was launching a marketing campaign to promote Verb Live integration, that never happened, hahaha.
Do your own DD, because yeah, well, this is just, like, my opinion, man.
2 minutes to pivot, ohhhh look I was right, shocker!!!
Just remember Verb paid for Rory to be on this show, they had to put money into it, he used the shareholders money to get himself into a stupid show.
Is this gonna be broadcast on Verb Live? no, because they don't want Verb technology they want their money, and Rory is willing to give it away.
And guess what technology Bloomberg TV uses to stream and host their videos: VIMEO! just like Verb because they can't use their own, spoiler alert it doesn't work.
They probably use Zoom for meetings like Salesforce and all the other companies that take Verb's money so Rory can claim they are partners.
Do your own DD, because yeah, well, this is just, like, my opinion, man.
He said the offering price was gonna be close to the stock price that day, it wasn't, not even close.
He said Live was launching Q2 2020, it didn't.
He said they were going to be Live Cyber Monday Offers for people to start using it, there were none.
Every time he talks about expected revenue numbers.
Do your own DD, because yeah, well, this is just, like, my opinion, man.
The new Pivot: Rory is going full circle, he is sponsoring "TV reality shows"; I hope Nick Cannon is making a comeback.
He will soon announce his 2 minutes to pivot show. Of course, they will sell it as the beginning of VerbTV, but is just another pivot, he is going back to the bBooth days with this one coming full circle.
He will probably start purchasing midnight ads to promote it again.
Let's just make it clear: the company has not nearly enough money to start producing TV shows, this is just a new pivot to crash grab new dilutive funding. Please remember when Rory publishes the new pivot the stockholders paid for that studio so he can play famous.
I will let them prepare their pivot today, the stock needs it. But let's talk tomorrow about how Denise takes money out of the company with deals that go nowhere like the one with Major Tom.
Do your own DD, because yeah, well, this is just, like, my opinion, man.
Because interactive video is not a game-changer, is just a gimmick.
Do your own DD, because yeah, well, this is just, like, my opinion, man.
If they were doing illegal things, and I am not saying they are, I would have registered the domain for the company the same week the contract was executed in November 2019
https://whois.domaintools.com/clickaway.io
Then I would hire a bunch of people in a department people don't follow up a lot, create some real and some fake and pay the "company" for all of them.
Let's say the Colombian company hires a real resource for 900, then Verb pays the Colombian company 1200 for that same resource. They just moved 300 out of Verb to Colombia.
Then they get greedy start not even hiring actual resources in Colombia but just making them up, now I am moving 1200 to Colombia a month per resource.
I think Verb has around 35 resources from that Colombian "company", guess would be a great opportunity to move money if they were inclined to do it. Maybe that why their expenses keep rising every quarter.
Do your own DD, because yeah, well, this is just, like, my opinion, man.
They want to be a huge company without being a small company first. Everybody wants to go viral and be the next Facebook.
They need to create an actual tool that works and build from that, find a market that is subserved and grow from there AND STOP TRYING TO BE THE NEXT ZOOM, THE NEXT YOUTUBE, THE NEXT WHATEVER.
I actually think the original idea of being the CRM of small businesses and individual entrepreneurs was GREAT but was changed for shinny technologies to take money from investors that never seem to be done or work.
Do your own DD, because yeah, well, this is just, like, my opinion, man.
Because he doesn't deliver afterwards. I mean think about it Pfizer got a vaccine for COVID-19 before Rory was able to push Verb Live out the door to everybody.
Pfizer invented a new way to create vaccines and then did one for COVID-19 and Rory couldn't even copy a technology that is in use on Zoom, Slack and a bunch of other places.
He missed his chance and now he won't be able to catch up even if he wants to.
Do your own DD, because yeah, well, this is just, like, my opinion, man.
Remember when Tal Golan came from Salesforce, and people said they sent him to fully integrate with Verb products, and then he left the company and we never heard anything from him again.
Weird not seeing him front and center leading the migration from Zoom to Verb Live internally on Salesforce, guess he is busy.
Remember Michael Sutyak the guy from AirBnB that was gonna take Verb to new levels in product management and then Rory fired him and said nothing.
Remember Nick Cannon? hahaha, I can't even with that one.
Remember Brycen Rinehart who created the only product currently generating actual revenues at Verb. And dedicated a good part of his life to building SoundConcepts and then Rory fired him, http://new.soundconcepts.com/contactus
Remember ClickAway.io the fake company Verb uses to funnel money to Colombia in "outsourcing" expenses.
Do your own DD, because yeah, well, this is just, like, my opinion, man.
CyberMonday deals!!!! I am just happy is finally November 30th and their time is up!
Of course, I mean time is up and we are getting all the wonderful CyberMonday deals to use Verb Live Rory mentioned on the call.
I am sure all their testing went smoothly and they didn't do stuff at the last minute and are ready to take on the world.
Hope they don't announce them on their video hosting because that is blocked by Facebook for malicious content :(.
They will probably use Vimeo and Hubspot as they do for everything else instead of their products, probably still using Zoom internally instead of Verb Live as Salesforce does.
The second thing you need to know about this company, the company that is about to change the CRM game, is they use Hubspot as their CRM and engagement tracking system.
Just go to their Twitter and see any of their links
https://twitter.com/VerbTech_Co
They don't trust their own engagement technology.
Do your own DD, because yeah, well, this is just, like, my opinion, man.
All you need to know about this company is the announced a showcase of their promises from the call and gave out this URL:
https://www.verbshowcase.com/
That right now is out of service, they couldn't keep it up for a week. You know why?
Because the Interactive Video Company that is gonna change the world had all their showcase videos hosted in Vimeo because their video hosting technology doesn't work.
Now run and fix it. Do one thing right.
Do your own DD, because yeah, well, this is just, like, my opinion, man.
You mean "Affiliate Links"?
https://www.techopedia.com/definition/1397/affiliate-link
That definition is from 2011, so not really new or a game-changer. Again putting a new name on something old doesn't make it a breakthrough.
Is Verb gonna try to patent that too?
Do your own DD, because yeah, well, this is just, like, my opinion, man.
Ohhh I am sure Julie and Mitch who have been digging through the compliance strategy of the company (spoiler alert: they don't have one) know a lot about what Rory and Jeff have been doing.
That's why the company settled the lawsuit to avoid having to discuss some particulars in court.
That is why now Rory keeps saying he won't over-promise and is more careful with his words because actual executives are telling him to shut up and they don't want to be part of his circus. They are trying to clean up the company, but they know there is too much to sweep under the rug.
But I am sure they will do the right thing when the time comes.
Do your own DD, because yeah, well, this is just, like, my opinion, man.
They already started, that's what the CyberMonday offers are all about.
Rory will say they did CyberMonday offers and a lot of internal customers are loving the product, then say some of them are using Outlook integration internally and they love it.
He will probably tell people this thing is gonna blow and make the stock go up to get another round of financing and then just start the next pivot when Live is not widely adopted.
They have some wolves in sheep clothing to help them.
Do your own DD, because yeah, well, this is just, like, my opinion, man.
They were using Zoom, the official communication tool inside Salesforce for all employees because Salesforce has no real partnership with Verb besides a simple developer program any company can get.
I guess Salesforce is voting with their money because they are paying for Zoom.
Also, there is no button to share the screen on Verb Live interface.
Do your own DD, because yeah, well, this is just, like, my opinion, man.
He is the master of over-promising, and even during this last meeting he was saying he won't do it, but he did it.
The integration with Outlook is not even close to looking like the video they made, that why at the end of the call he said it might not look like that.
Remember when he announced interactive videos with a Coca Cola truck coming into the screen and popping up an ad, and then notifiID with him coming on top of the email and talking. He knew that wasn't possible.
And now he knows he doesn't have the pull with Microsoft to integrate that way with Outlook.
In the other corner, he has Jeff Clayborne doing the same thing to financials, polishing them and playing with the numbers to deceive investors.
Do your own DD, because yeah, well, this is just, like, my opinion, man.
Congratulations to Verb winning!
I did watch the whole presentation and learned a couple of things:
Just ask Julie Holdren the new CPO how much fun she is having trying to figure out the plan at Verb. Her background is working for companies with actual procedures and planning.
She now knows, thanks to an Aha moment:
1. Verb had no product plan, they didn't know what they were doing, they just went from pivot to pivot depending on what the best idea was that day.
2. No market research, no data-driven decisions, just trying to find out whatever would be "cool" sounding for the next pivot.
I am sure Mitch and Julie are enjoying all the information about the stuff happening at Verb they got now. Hope they do the right thing.
Do your own DD, because yeah, well, this is just, like, my opinion, man.
I don't think they are cooking the books.
I think they are really creative, for example, they delayed paying for SoloFire to October just to make it look like they had more cash on hand, they do that kind of thing a lot.
Also, they keep signing contracts that include a "set up fee" that is paid by the company, that generates revenue but is not recurring revenue, is a one-time payment.
Then the users of that company never pay for the app or pay for a couple of months and the revenue just disappears, that's why they need to keep signing customers for those "set up fees".
Thas why, when asked on the last call, Rory said they are looking into a hybrid system when billing the companies. Meaning they are not billing all the companies for the users, but letting some companies (most of them) offer the app and see if the final user decides to pay for it.
That's why the numbers of new clients grow exponentially but the revenue is not growing at the same rate.
If only they could apply that same level of creativity to their products, people might actually use them.
Do your own DD, because yeah, well, this is just, like, my opinion, man.
Do you really think the money they have will last them that long?
Clearly, they decided to move the cash payment for SoloFire to October to have a bigger number in the cash on hand report. That means from those 10 million they paid 2 million to SoloFire, and I know they did the same thing to another 3 million in payments, and they are burning around 1 million a month or more.
I think they will need money sooner than mid next year. Also, they keep hiring people from TopTal because they don't want to bring any more actual employees because of the government money from that loan and they won't be able to fire employees if they don't want to repay it, but that means they have to pay a middle man for workers.
I just think they are burning money so fast they will need money sooner than that.
Do your own DD, because yeah, well, this is just, like, my opinion, man.
Is weird they are blocking only Verb and not actual social network competitors.
Seems Verb just has too many enemies: Facebook, the shorters, traders, bank financing, customers, everybody is targetting them.
Do your own DD, because yeah, well, this is just, like, my opinion, man.
Do you want to know how revolutionary Verb is? how they drive engagement?
You cannot share their videos on Facebook because they are considered SPAM
https://verbtech.verb.website/presentation/video.mc-jim-lupkin-social-media-association-full-episode
You try it, don't let me tell you about it, go to Facebook try and share that link.
Now if they actually had customers using their stuff those customers would be mad not to be able to share to Facebook, but nobody is using it so nobody cares.
The truth is they were flagged by Facebook because of security issues that got their technology market as SPAM, other social sites will catch up soon.
I seem to remember they said they had high-security policies, seems they can't even keep their OWN links from being marked as SPAM.
Do your own DD, because yeah, well, this is just, like, my opinion, man.
IT WAS FREE WITH YOUTUBE, YOU CANNOT BEAT FREE!
Also, Verb has been doing this for a couple of years now nobody is using it because it doesn´t work.
The best example is Snapchat they had an idea that worked and everybody stole it from them, including Twitter recently, because it was something people wanted. Interactive Video is not something people want or need.
And yes my opinion is different than yours, that is the basis of a debate, and you know what places were invented to have debates: FORUMS! like this one, another technology people wanted and use, unlike interactive videos from Verb.
Do your own DD, because yeah, well, this is just, like, my opinion, man.
Video interactivity doesn't work, bigger companies have tried it, and didn't work. Even YouTube moved their shop for creators below the video on their interface and killed annotations.
But interactive video is all they have, they can't leave it because they will be just a bad company, I mean they still are but Interactive Video keeps them thinking they have something they just need the market to catch up, instead of what actually is happening the market doesn't want it.
Do your own DD, because yeah, well, this is just, like, my opinion, man.
The original lie about Verb increasing sales exponentially is from DR2Marketing, remember them? they used to be a big topic here.
You can see their Twitter
https://twitter.com/dr2marketing?lang=en
And of course, read their blog
https://www.dr2marketing.com/wait-your-videos-do-what/
They claimed a 1010% conversion increase and from there Verb took this as an outside source confirming their delusions and used that number all over the place.
The company hasn't tweeted a lot since the beginning of the year, probably since Verb stopped paying them.
But the point is: you are telling me a small marketing company found a product that could increase conversions by 1010% and just stopped using it and never exploded in the market.
I don't know sounds crazy, Rory kind of crazy. Just ask Julie Holdren, the new CPO if Verb Live is ready to be launch on Cyber Monday.
Spoiler Alert: IS NOT!
Let's meet tomorrow and let me tell you a few things. Again do your own DD, because yeah, well, this is just, like, my opinion, man.
Let us talk about moving money around.
Do you know Verb hires their contractors in two places:
1. TopTal
A great agency where you can find great talent. They are expensive but you can find great people on the site.
2. A weird Colombian company
A lot of their hiring is coming from a company "based" in Colombia called ClickAway (https://www.clickaway.io).
Now the weird part is the domain was registered around November 2019
https://whois.domaintools.com/clickaway.io
Updated Date: 2020-01-12T20:30:52Z
Creation Date: 2019-11-12T22:45:23Z
Registry Expiry Date: 2020-11-12T22:45:23Z
Around the time Verb decided to hire them, lucky them, same time they create their site and they get their first big customer.
Another thing is they have addresses in Colombia, Miami, and New York pointing to being a big company.
Well is weird they only have 1 phone number in Colombia, that is a cellphone, not even an office number, and both their addresses in the US are fake, they don't even exist
https://ibb.co/8m5K1Fk
Now I will give them the zip code for New York is next to Rikers Island so maybe foreshadowing?
Let us imagine, 100% hypothetical, somebody in Company V decided to create Company X. Now Company V gives an outsourcing Company X to get a bunch of contractors. All X has to do is go find those people pay them and keep a portion of earnings, easy barely an inconvenience.
Even better if the same contractor would cost $3,000 in the US, and you can get it for $800, in lets say Colombia, and charge V $1,400 for each of them.
I sure hope nobody discussed hypothetical details about this over text or email.
In my opinion, do your own DD.
Hope you guys have a great day.
Still making money with Verb, no complaints here.
Just my opinion, do your own DD.
