So the conversion ratio is 5:1 or 8:1?
jever, i'll believe you but if come tuesday nothing happens...
What your thoughts on DNAG? PPS has been on a steady decline since inception and went through a reverse split. Is management just trying to make money off shareholders or is it a real viable business?
But how will Nanobac be able to pay for DNAG? They're capital is low themselves. So will it be for shares of the company?
What do you think they mean by that? Personally, I don't see a gain in the acquisition from Nanobac.
Sam, can you answer this for me?
dmceng, i believe in a positive attitude and believing in a company one is invested in. however at what point do we question if the company we're invested in is actually doing their job. by looking at both sides of the coin, i see that the company has had difficulty securing question, and i commend them at being resilient after almost 10 years. however why would they do a reverse split, and dilute the stock til it is now at over 700 million while their salaries are currently at over $200k a year:
"At January 1, 2007, Richard Gabriel's annual
salary is $300,000 with $210,000 paid in cash and $90,000 deferred; Hector Gomez's annual salary is $288,000 with $201,600 paid in cash and $86,400 deferred and Karen Surplus's annual salary is $200,000 with $140,000 paid in cash and $60,000 deferred."

if they're so tight on capital why are they paying themselves so much?
Based off the SEC filing, what do you think the revenue potential can be? Why would another genomics company use AncestrybyDNA instead of their own product?
sam1933, that was a good find on the video.
Chris, DNAG is my only .OB holding too. If DNAG doesn't make it, I'm never buying an .OB stock again.
so this means our ancestybydna is no good?
Johnny, so Family Tree doesn't sell our test or other ppls test?
Does anyone have any idea what the company is currently doing? Are these silient periods usual? Its been a awhile. I've emailed IR several times with no response.
Why do you think DNAG still are unable to secure the contracts like you describe?
Good luck Precious. Thanks for all your contribution to the board. Keep us posted on DNAG when you get a chance.
A good question to ask ourselves is this now. Will DNAG benefit from all this work or not? If not, then everything they've done is a MOO point. If DNAG does have patents protecting the methods and technology then we should be good in the near future.
sam1933, a little of both. Thanks for the response.
Precious,
With all the information you posted on DNA and genomics and the industry, I'm sure you've attained a wealth of information. With all this knowledge in the field, do you still think DNAG still has cutting edge technology in the area of DNA and genomics and that they will make it?
Does this mean DNAG's technology can be used by other companies? In this case, all the money spent developing the technology will be lost right? What are your thoughts?
sam1933, but DNAG can't patent ADMIXMAP right?
Johnny, so DNAG cannot patent on ADMIXMAP?
Johnny, does DNAG have patents on the admixture? If not, it does us no good that other people are being recognized except us.
Precious,
With all the information you posted on DNA and genomics and the industry, I'm sure you've attained a wealth of information. With all this knowledge in the field, do you still think DNAG still has cutting edge technology in the area of DNA and genomics and that they will make it?
MiddleBrook preps for day of reckoning for drug
Nearly eight years of work at MiddleBrook Pharmaceuticals Inc. hinges on the results of a decision due Jan. 23.
On that day, after enduring the highs of blockbuster IPOs and lows of failed clinical trials, the Germantown biotech will hear the federal government's final call on whether its first and only developed drug will earn a place on physician and pharmacy shelves.
If not, few think MiddleBrook, formerly Advancis Pharmaceutical, can survive. But if the coveted commercial green light flashes, it means another local biotech will score a marketable drug and, likely, bids from potential buyers, bringing more revenue and stature to the region's biotechnology scene.
Possible answers from the Food and Drug Administration include outright approval, a tentative "approvable" status requiring further study, or flat-out rejection. MiddleBrook officials declined to comment. But analysts are speculating that the outcome will probably fall in MiddleBrook's favor.

Does anyone know who are on the Board of Directors at DNAG? I can't find their names.
Dam...we broke to .0028
Has anyone heard or spoken to anyone at DNAG? I'm wondering how how all the collaborations and newly formed entities are doing? i.e. Beckman, Bioserve, Beyond CODIS, DNAdirect.
There was a 1.5million share traded after closing at .0032. Was it a buy?
Alterboy, do you have a link for that FBI deal?
The coming months will be crucial to the company and shareholders. It seems like 2008 will either make or break DNAG.
bag8ger, has your opinion of the company changed?
Johnny,
Thanks a lot for the links and explaining everything! It sure helps.
Johnny, if DNAG did have collaborations with these entities why wouldn't they PR something to that affect? Wouldn't that help with the PPS and investor sentiment?
Chiggah, but if our technology is on the cutting edge why don't we have more collaborations with other companies? Shouldn't we have more revenues from genotyping and why don't any VCs want to invest in us. I mean Google invested in 23andme and we have better products than them right?
Johnny, If DNAG has a hand in all these technologies how come we're not recognized more? Why don't we have more collaborations or agreements with biotech companies?
Chiggah, how do you know that management is honest? It seems that dilution is continuing since the O/S is now at 720 million. Our PPS is very low and we haven't heard anything from them in terms of financing, spin off, and anything about CD59 or PT401. I'm beginning to become a little itchy myself. You seem to have held on for many years, so what makes you continue to believe in management or are you just waiting til the next run to unload your shares?
Sam,
The O/S count was around 670million and now its at 730million. Why would management exercise all their options? They've never done it before. They're not selling are they cause they'll have to file with the SEC if they do sell. So why would they exercise all their options now? Is it cause its cheaper for them to purchase at this price?
Precious, if your argument is true regarding financing, what are the chances that DNAG will succeed in this case without further diluting shareholder value? It seems like financing all around is difficult with plenty of high potential companies. In your opinion what other opinions does DNAG have in finding funding?
Why do you think there is such a hard time finding financing with such companies with a great pipeline and technology?
