Hi Pennyfever, and thanks for your reply, the recent DD i have done suggests otherwise, so perhaps I will have to look at the paperwork a little closer, this forum has IM does it not? If you like I can IM you the pertinent links and perhaps you can decipher what i've found, it seems a bit unclear.
Regards, Lego
Congratulations Orangeman! And thanks are in order as well for your accepting the position of moderator, we won't forget that your phone call confirmation of the relationship between Cetek and Wilson preceded the recent news byte by several days, that type of forward-looking leadership is exactly what is needed here IMO, high time we had some fresh blood running this board,I look forward to once again contributing what I can to the collective knowledge of this company during your tenure.
Question for all, does Cetek own the HTI building as well as the company? Trying to form an idea of net worth here.
Thanks, Lego
Excellent King George!!! Wonderful news! And nice to see someone once again being proactive and looking for NEW info! So much for the wave of "blank check" and "regdex" nonsense we have had to endure of late, time to move forward, this sector is strong and this news validates Orangeman's very timely phone call, VERY glad i purchased my shares when I did, I doubt i'll ever see the price i paid for them again after Monday!
Thanks again King George! Lego
Moderator, I would remind you that i have already done so, but it is difficult to read anything worthwhile from the posters I want to hear from, i.e. You, Orangeman, Roundmot, Geoly etc., when all of them are constantly defending themselves from personal attacks, I would think a more permanent solution is in order. In addition, I would think that as Moderator, it is also your duty to provide some direction for the discussion, this constant re-hashing and repeated arguing over old news is neither productive, nor conducive to a healthy discussion of FUTURE prospects for Cetek. To date, Orangeman is the only person I have seen that has contributed something new to this board with his call to Wilson, IMO if all could learn a lesson from him and follow his example, this would be a MUCH better board. No offense taken I hope, perhaps my understanding of your role is incorrect.
Regards, Lego
Moderator, while I agree with some of the statements with regards to Cetek made by Adonis, I do not agree with the ending to the last post, it is sad indeed, his arguments were VERY valid IMO, but ending with a personal attack like that was not necessary, but it is hard to blame him when you continue to allow and even foster this kind of environment by continuing to overlook the repeated violations of decency in posting by Miami-Investor and Jofotoz. Is it your intention to ever resolve any of these issues? From the conversations here I gather that you have a friendship or association of some sort with these characters, is this why you seem to very selectively enforce the rules (if at all)? I understand from your post to me that your time here is limited, perhaps it is time to select your replacement?
Respectfully submitted, Lego
I highly agree, this is very disappointing, I would expect this on Raging Bull, but I was led to believe that I-hub was a bit more upscale. For those who care, I did some research today on ceramic pricing that might be of help in deducing the potential for revenues when coupled with other posters DD on ovens and capacity, I will post it as soon as I have completed my own estimates, and when this board ceases this childish bickering.
I was forced to add Miami-Investor to my ignore list, added to Jofotoz that makes two in two days, not quite what I expected Pennyworld, not quite the polite forum you spoke of on RB.
Actually I tried Orangeman, for several days i repeatedly put in orders at .0009, never got filled, finally got filled at .001, but that took quite some time.
Lego
Well it seems obvious that even without a PR that there are some things that we can do to be proactive, as Orangeman so ably demonstrated today, there are steps we can take, and results we can share that will benefit our collective knowledge on this subject, if nobody bothered to ever call Wilson, what else has been left undone? I think pursuing an idea of current ceramic pricing would help indeed, and since the poster that claimed to have knowledge via an alleged business relationship with a ceramics company turned out to be yet another fake, I believe I will pursue this particular area of DD as i believe it could help to possibly extrapolate an idea of potential earnings for the company. I will report my findings when I have numbers in hand.
Luck to all, Lego
Pennyworld, good advice, and I have done just that as I explained in my last post. In this day and age of even our own government listening in to our phone calls, privacy has become ever more of an issue, your request just struck me as odd, and somewhat intrusive, after all, we do not know one another either, perhaps if some time had passed and we had become friends...but never do I react well to demands for info, and forgive me for saying so, but you and the other poster seem a bit paranoid, or else perhaps i am not privy to the entire story here and have no right to judge. But since you seem to place such a premium on full disclosure, I will tell you, I have no RB membership, i do read and lurk, but as I explained in a previous post, I wanted a place to discuss stocks that was free of the type of uncontrolled anarchy that reigns supreme on RB, Yahoo and other such places. If I am not mistaken, it was one of YOUR very posts that led me to Investor's Hub...and I must tell you, so far my experience here has been a bit underwhelming...not quite the strictly-business-adult-forum picture that you painted it. But hopefully we can move past these issues now and get back to the task at hand, since the phone call by Orangeman today has clarified the Wilson connection beyond a shadow of a doubt, it looks like we may be in for quite a ride if the CEO will cooperate and give us a confirming PR.
OT: Pennyworld, i was not aware that there was an ignore function on here, the problem is now solved, please forgive the many off-topic posts, no action is required on your part anymore.
Regards, Lego
OT: Rancor? Meaning deeply held ill-will or long-standing resentment? How would that be possible when i've only been here a few days and don't even know you? Either you are using words a bit too large for you, or you are prone to the worst sort of exaggeration sir, either way, I would like to know if it is your purpose to dissuade conversation about the matter at hand which is Cetek Technologies unless I am greatly mistaken, because if so, you are doing a fine job of it.
Again, Moderator, I ask for your intervention in this matter, must I complain to Matt to take action or are you able to deal with this personal attack upon me?
OT: you forgot to say:OT
Moderator, thank you for welcoming me in your earlier post, I will strive to be a productive member here. In the meantime, can you get this guy off of me please? Thanks in advance, Lego
Thank you Orangeman! That is great news, i had mistakenly assumed that someone had already called and inquired about this matter, kudos to you sir for taking the initiative!
Lego
OT:I stand corrected, and apologize to the board for my off-topic posts, having lurked for a time i noticed that one of the posters had asked a question pertaining to posting pictures within posts, and I attempted to be helpful as usually i am able to figure out such things, but sadly, on this occasion I was not, and eventually sought the help of Matt who was able to point me in the right direction. However, both the Moderator here, and Mr. Jofotoz continue to be incorrect in their assumption that ANY details of my personal life outside of this board, are any of their business, and furthermore, i don't believe that I "attacked" anyone with my response to the Moderator, and I resent the implication that I did so and would like an apology for that remark.
And further, I would hope that we could get back to an honest, open, and informative discussion of Cetek Technologies, being as this IS the CTKH board, as opposed to the "who is Legolambazoid and why is he here?" board. It was my understanding that these are public forums, not private clubs, and I sought out Investor's Hub SPECIFICALLY because of the claims of various posters that I-Hub was NOT a zoo like Raging Bull, and that people were able to actually discuss stocks sans the personal attacks. Again, am I incorrect? If so, I will happily leave here, it is easy enough from what I understand to start my own board here or elsewhere, but make no mistake gentlemen, I will find a place where some common decency and respect for others is the rule. Again, my apologies for my OT posts, I had the best of intentions I assure you, but will not let it happen again.
Regards, Lego
Thank you anyway Jofotoz, even if she can't get details, the fact that they knew who Wilson was, is encouraging in itself, I do appreciate your prompt reply, and I will keep looking into the matter to see if I can discover details of pricing, perhaps it will provide a clearer picture of the potential revenues for Cetek.
Regards, Lego
OT: Pennyworld0, 1. I thought as moderator, that you of all people would know that we are supposed to put OT in front of posts that are off-topic, and i would have to think that details of my alias are not only off-topic, but none of your business. 2.If you wouldn't mind, i personally plan to keep my posts on the topic of Cetek technologies, and would hope as moderator that you would heartily agree, and in fact, be the person that sets the example. Not to be disrepectful sir, but I really don't care who you are on RB. 3. My posts are on CTKH because that is the first stock i purchased after signing up for Investor's Hub, I did in fact look today to see if there was an ASTT board as i purchased some shares today, however there is no such board.
My question to you and the board at large at this point would be: Is it normal for a moderator to interrogate new posters in this fashion? The other posters on here, Roundmot, Jofotoz, and Bigpickn were very gracious in answering my questions, and seemed helpful enough...is there some unwritten rule that I am not aware of? Do i need to be a member for a specific amount of time before I am allowed to post? If so, please tell me and I will go back to lurking if need be.
Lego
Wow! that's great, i wonder what the larger sizes go for then? sure would be nice to get some financials, i will do some searching then and attempt to find out industry pricing on various sizes of substrate. I noticed another poster mentioned Coorstek, Jofotoz, perhaps your spouse could shed some light on this subject? you mentioned that she has dealings with Coorstek? do you think she could provide some ideas on the pricing of different substrate sizes?
TIA! Lego
i have looked into some other companies products, Coorstek is one, plenty of ceramics companies out there because of such a huge and diverse market, but i am unaware of any that make substrate in such large sizes that do not need additional machining, and certainly not any public ones that are as cheap at a tenth of a penny, as this one is. and as they seem to be profitable, this certainly looks like a great investment to me, an easy hedge in this sector.
Cheers! Lego
cool deal, thanks again for the detailed info! so, any idea of a price range for the different substrates? i know, i'm asking a lot, but i also need to know where to focus my search for DD, and you seem to be the most knowledgeable person to ask about this company. I called Mr. Jim Stock with a lot of these same questions but he was not very forthcoming i must say, i've learned a heck of a lot more reading your posts today than i've been able to get from Cetek's IR or their website.
Best of luck! Lego
Roundmot, do you know how many total ovens they have at Cetek and an idea of what their production capacity is? also, if you have any idea of how much the various sizes of substrate sell for? any info would be greatly appreciated and i will pass along any i get for sure.
Thanks! Lego
Wow! that's awesome news Roundmot, did not know that, that's fairly impressive indeed, thank you for the info, i have read your posts on different forums in the past, and have lurked here for a bit trying to pick up some hints and DD, please continue to post, i just bought some shares recently and will try to add some more.
Regards, Lego
oops, almost forgot, here is what i was referring to, sorry:
CTKH has the most sophisticated sintering ovens in the world, second to NONE. By last report they can sinter ceramics in as little as one day (the competition takes 15 days). And even the old style ovens that took 3 days are able to sinter ceramics as large as 40", and the new style ovens are even bigger. And the significant thing about it is that the CTKH Process produces ceramic that is perfectly smooth every time, right out of the ovens no matter how large they are. According to FH, the only thing that prevents them from making ceramic substrates as large as a billboard is the fact that they do not have an oven large enough. (The competition can only produce perfectly smooth substrates up to 10". When they try to produce larger ones, they have to be polished smooth, which results in up to 50% breakage, and drives their costs through the roof.)
ahh, guess it helps to read directions, everyone has their own version of HTML. maybe this will work:
