All sells left b/c APS has stopped promotion. No letter this afternoon so far. Pump and dump operation finish.
Closing below 0.28cent
It might close below 0.20cents today. watch another dump has just started.
classic pump and dump story.
Where are insiders? Why they are not buying if company is so close to production? If they are not buying, it means that they know it is same old same old.
'newnubie' sorry u will not be able to even have those burgers since he will always keep on preparing to prepare. Thus his mantra will continue with all his future assignments.
Perhaps he does not know that it is not easy to make fool out of so many veterans on this board like you.
No trade including buying and selling.
I have my shares after split but can't trade. BMO Investorline
Problem with cert is that you can't sell your shares readily when time comes. You need to take them to the broker or send them by mail and until such time they reaches to your broker, it can be too late. Plus safe keeping. Stealing is not an issue at this price but when it will grow many fold, who knows(just dreaming).
'newnubie' why u converted into certs? Do u fear there will be short squeeze and broker will sell your shares to some body else? I think FMNJ is not that type of stock as of today.
'imanjen13'Under my watch, no more pump on false promises on this board. Enough is enough, I will try to print factual picture so that nobody will say, that he was not warned before.
I wish FMNJ to succeed but not at the cost of innocent investors.
'newnubie' you are not born today. You know very well that we have witnessed such BS PR's before and shows that our Chief has nothing better to offer. Logical conclusion is what I have drawn in my post. Nothing to shame about. This way you will keep printing your certificates until it will tell you that it is not worth printing any more. Hahahahahaha
'imanjen13'all figures are anticipated and probable. That is the very initial stage for even an exploration company. How any body can expect that some company or individual will finance mine development in the absence of confirmed and approved figures? I can smell that Petty will come back and say we have to resort to equity financing in the absence of a big financier. Thus journey toward sale target of 200B shares at sub zero price will restart soon. Then after a year or so another RS will be repeated and this drama will continue Until such time, our Chief will reaches age of maturity e.g.70 years.
'jacobmoore' can u trade this? I ask this b/c my broker does not allow trading as of today and I'm sure that is the case with most of the brokers. Looks like u are the only one who is allowed to trade and if that is the case why buy such a big lots of 500 shares only?
Thank u for that info.
No. I have still some shares after this RS. However after next RS I will be holding paper like yourself.
My broker does not recognize the symbol for quote. Therefore no trading in FMNJ since RS. Is this the case with me only? Pl. share if your broker allows trading.
'newnubie' Looking at Dar's experience, his profile shows no experience in mining. He is presently also CEO of a private chartered Airline operating out of California. Mining and that too in a difficult country like Bolivia require an outstanding individual with at least some exposure to mining. Contrary to Mr.Dar Mr. Bill has been related to mining all his practical life. I do not see how any body can say Dar is better.
I know he represents Saudi Group with deep pocket in this JV with FMNJ but I have not seen any of those $$$$s as of today.
'newnubie' typo
'jacobmoore' it was the similar type of projections that got us into this many many years before. When we start buying FMNJ shares, Silver was trading around 6 and 7 dollars. It went upto $50.00 at one time afterward but no use for us. We have gone steadily down as the silver metal was going up. Therefore please don't try to teach us the same old lesson. We are here to see some thing positive happening to this stock so that we can salvage our hard earned dollars. I will suggest you to just focus on this company and let us know how do you think that this time it appears to be any different.
'blue dog' sorry to reply your PM so late. I checked and BMO is not allowing that.
Since trading has not yet started after RS. My impression is that any buy back, if any, will take place after trading will restart and that is the actually the purpose of Buy back. Let us see.
'imanjen13' All the three recent posts were deleted by IH Admin for being out of topic.
'imanjen13' I have not removed or deleted any post lately. The last and the only one I did was may be a year from now. I have profound respect for all the posters and particularly for the old timers like yourself. I will investigate and come back. I'm sorry your feelings have been hurt.
Waiting for a miracle to happen and our so called Saudi group(JV Partner) comes to rescue this company. According to the PR at the time of announcement of JV, we were given an impression that Saudi Group will finance the mine development once their condition for joint management is fulfilled. FMNJ agreed to Joint management and thus Mr. Ghulam Mustaffa Dar from that group was appointed president of FMNJ. I have no idea whether or not RS was a precondition of JV or it was the latest condition added before financial commitment. Since RS too has been in place now I should see some dollars coming into play and do stock buy back. I think that was the real purpose of this JV. Let us see whether or not the promise is fulfilled or we are fooled again like before.
'blue dog', BMO Investorline looks like more is efficient.
'Newnbie', no it does not show bid and ask.
My portfolio with BMO Investorline shows new shares after RS.
Ask is 0.15. No activity, may be brokers are not taking orders since investors holdings have not changed yet. Without any news, it can be devastating for share price as soon as trading will start.
Bob, Franklin Mining will never get a friendly Govt in Bolivia like that of the Morales. It is in this Govt that Bill was bestowed upon with a title of Honorary Captain of Bolivian Navy. Plus ours is a JV partnership with Govt. Therefore Morales Govt is no hindrance especially for FMNJ. For me the major problem is the cost of mine development. Even the big mining giants like Barrick is scaling back mines development due to cost these days. And here we are told, with casual detail, about a hardly known company that that will provide finances for the development of Escala mine.
Only good thing about this company is that it is still surviving even if on ventilator. Bill can get credit for that.
Welcome Bob, our comments here reflect our experience and we see all the statements with an element of suspicion. I wish I can see them differently. Since you are veteran of this mess, I wish to know any contrary to what board members are feeling here. We have grown so old here during these years that we can't Support Bill, the way Americano and others used to do,some time to the level of hype even with religious references. That unfounded support and advocacy got many into this, like myself too. Unable to jump off this ship, have decided to go down with this along with our Honorary Captain of Bolivian Navy, Mr. Bill. Wish could find any choice.
You are one of the old guard here. Nice to hear from you. I was expecting that some thing must be known to you and thus your comments about the possibilities. It comes out mere a stretch of imagination. Anyway whole edifice of FMNJ was build on MOUs. I think MOUs do not have such a long shelf life. Therefore those are dead. What is your opinion about the latest PR? with mine development cost sky rocketed recently, I'm afraid that the latest PR was only to over shadow the effects of RS and they are successful since most of the talk is about PR and not about RS.
Trueheart, can u kindly explain, "I'm stoked at the possibilities."
Accompanying the dreadful RS is the news that a local company has agreed to finance the development of Escala mine. I have following observations.
1:- We were told that Mr. William Petty has got into JV partnership with a Saudi Group who were supposedly to provide the required financing. We believed the news since Saudi's have generally deep pockets. Even Mr. Petty offered that company CEO position as part of an agreement. So Mr. Mustaffa Dar became President with Franklin mining, representing the interests of that Saudi Group. I have recently seen LinkedIn profile of Mr. Dar as around 30years old young man and CEO of some Private Chartered Air Line. It shows his position as President of Franklin Mining too. By now this new partner was supposed to provide financing for the Escala project. Some body need to answer and clarify this contradiction and tell us what FMNJ has got out of that JV partnership. Has Mr. William created a front man to do the dirty work? Contrary to that what we see today that another company headed by another Texan has reportedly agreed to provide all the financing. Is this Press release already destined for dust bin or has any substance? Time will tell that. But we are now used to take every bullish statement from our Charmain with pinch of salt. Keeping the share structure same after the RS does show the intentions. All the talk about the increasing visibility of the company is BS. After this RS our holding will shrink from Millions to couple of thousands and after next RS we will be eliminated all to gather. Already quarter of share holders if not half will be eliminated this time. They bought the share and believe the words of Mr. William that under his Chairmanship there will not be any RS. But promises are made to break them and he has done that for a long time and there is no end to that.
Bolivia to consider nationalizing embattled silver project
Reuters – 15 hours ago
LA PAZ (Reuters) - Bolivia will consider nationalizing Canadian miner South American Silver Corp's (Toronto:SAC.TO - News) silver property, President Evo Morales said on Sunday, following violent indigenous protests against the mining project.
Leftist Morales, who last month took control of global commodities giant Glencore's (LSE:GLEN.L - News) tin and zinc mine in the Andean country, said he hadn't taken a final decision on whether to revoke the Canadian miner's concession.
"Nationalization is our obligation, I already raised the issue of nationalizing (the Malku Khota project) last year, and I told (local residents) to reach an agreement, because when they want we're going to nationalize," Morales told a farmers' gathering.
Exploration work, in which South American Silver plans to invest some $50 million, is expected to end within three years. The company describes it as "one of the world's largest undeveloped silver, indium and gallium deposits."
A Bolivian man died and at least four others were hurt as protesters occupied the property, local media reported on Friday. An increase in social unrest and anti-government protests are testing Morales, the country's first leader of indigenous descent.
Mining is also coming under fire in neighboring Chile and Peru, where many citizens feel they haven't profited from a metals-led economic boom.
HOSTAGES RELEASED
Bolivian peasant farmers over the weekend released five local South American Silver workers, who had been held to demand the company leave.
Three of the hostages were freed on Saturday in a police operation and the other two were released on Sunday afternoon, sources said. A police officer held hostage since Thursday was also freed.
"There are no more hostages in Malku Khota, the last liberations happened due to negotiations," deputy interior minister Jorge Perez told state television.
The Erbol radio network said the engineers freed on Sunday were "accused of spying and violating traditions or customs of the (local) peoples during an indigenous hearing." They were ordered to complete "a community punishment" of making 1,000 adobe bricks in under 30 days, the network said.
