while most here would agree that the regulatory environment did not follow the path that CVSciences and many other companies envisioned, there are a couple facts that cannot be ingnored:
1- you cannot fight the government
2- see 1
3 - see 1, 1 and 2 the goct will do what it wants in the time it wants..... there are so many factors involved it cannot be fathomed but waiting it out is the only option, well, wait
4- there are companies that are currently, as we watch, INCREASING sales YOY and QOQ, and INCREASING online and/or DTC sales presences.
"The government isn't playing to our game plan" is not an excuse to be stale and die on the vine, with the best product out there it still doesn't matter.
I would argue that brick and mortar sales should be down the totem pole from the online presence we should be seeing from CVSI.
Call it a pivot or whatever, waiting for the FDA to "green light" our process, quality parameters, or whatever it may be, is a fools game.
get management going!!!!
some people are being successful in this game, good management fidns a way to compete despite the hurdles that come their way!
i agree 100% motor
in the conference call, Dowling said (paraphrase) while guidance is tough, we see 1Q being about the same as 4Q........
so there's that.
I think he needs to go, myself.
As if this couldn't get more confusing.....

snippets...
(speaking of delta 8) The compound might run afoul of the DEA's interim final rule on hemp, meant to address the 2018 farm bill removing the crop as a federally controlled substance. The rule emphasizes that "synthetically derived tetrahydrocannabinols" remain controlled substances. But there's no agreed upon definition of what "synthetically derived" means.
The DEA declined to comment on the legality of Delta-8 until it finalizes its hemp interim final rule. "We are in the process of reviewing thousands of comments and do not speculate on what could happen as a result," a spokesperson for the DEA said.
In the span of a few months, Banner Harvest went from selling about 15 pounds of CBD-rich hemp flower a month to “basically zero” pounds. The reason: All of the wholesale customers were now stocking Delta-8 THC, a close cousin of the chief psychoactive compound in marijuana, Delta-9 THC.
Delta-8’s meteoric rise is reminiscent of the early days of the CBD boom. Seemingly overnight, the products were on the shelves of gas stations, vape shops and numerous e-commerce outlets.
But there’s one big difference: Delta-8 products are being marketed as a “legal” way for people to get stoned.
Hmmmmm. Maybe we can sell our company to CWEB. They are growing and growing..... no excuses from the CEO about anything at all. Lots more cash, increased online sales, etc etc etc.
YUCK for CVSI. Need a new CEO, STAT!
They will partner, or wait til sales pick up to get the share price higher before they dilute "massively"...... They just issued $10M worth of stock. I would guess they are thinking that will get them enough cash to get through the quiet times we are in.
Strange people don't understand that math, at all. But here it goes.....
I would guess that a sustained stock price even 20% lower (40-45 million overall valuation of the company) at $4.00 after a 1-10 reverse split, and the resulting NAS uplisting would give this company a HUGE boost in institutional ownership.
I keep wondering if they have considered a NYSE or Toronto listing to get broader access.....
All of the news of yesterdays filings was already baked into the company's value IMO. I'm still long the story the science and the product when the market solidifies.
Still undervalued as an enterprise. One does not buy OTCBB to get rich quick. Takes time for a company to mature.
I'm feeling pretty good about where this company is positioned right now. Lots of retail space, new brand in the quickie marts, patents from USA and Japan.
they still have 4 million cash so the burn has slowed to almost nothing..... Sitting pretty waiting on the recovery of the economy and the guidance of the FDA to bump the sector and we are right in the thick of things when the market for CBD clarifies.....
not surprising about sales, at all. Holding long and buying dips.
Cash Flow positive is fine by me. Profitable can come a LOT later..... Uptick in sales growth great, new product line carrying some weight already would be phenomenal.
Can you imagine what would happen to the share price of CVSI if the CBD/Covid treatment turned out to be clinically relevant.
Is this CVSI specific? was Plus CDB used for the study?
These allegations investigations and issues are almost 10 years old. The company has cleared the way forward from these issues and is performing nicely these days!
anyone have any idea when we will hear 4q or YE2020?
Thanks in advance
Question:
I see all these companies selling CBD infused beverages.... I'm curious why they aren't limited by the FDA the way CVSI seems to be, and why CVSI isn't selling some of these CBD infused beverages, as well.
any insight here on this board?
Little birdy tells me there's some good news on the way.
Stangnant situaion is about to end. Low volume low float, lots of really strong longs, Ken Fischer on the long side......
About to pop in my opinion!!!
HA HA
I have WAYYYYYYYY more than 1000 shares of this company. Averaged in just above a dollar a share.
5 years this should be well above $35
this company is SEVERELY undervalued compared to its peers
Strong buy below $2.
soorry too many 00000000000000's
I cannot access the article again but I swear she said they have 25 THOUSAND retail stores carrying their products.....
I just asked because they said they had 250000 retail outlets and we have A LOT less I believe. Just curious the comparison......
IS this a major competitor of CVSI?
Curious
Seriously curious why you keep posting here and wasting your and our time? make a bad investment in CVSI? Didn't do your DD and are down from your initiail purchase? First pink sheet risky stock buy and bet the farm on this cash flow positive industry leader in a risky sector? Thought it was a sure fire home run investing in CVSI with their exceptionally low valuation compared to little known peers?
They reported new line, happy lane, new line, pets, rebranding of plus CBD, a patent,
WHy do you call them CVSilence? there has been exceptional news lately one after the other. Sales growth. My investment in CVSI while under water is looking pretty good from the fundamentals.....
is it just sour grapes with you for some reason?
come on, fess up!
575 K revenue??? you're high
Why is that? There are tons of CBD products for sale on Amazon, why isn't cv sciences among them? curious!
Why, aren't plus cbd products sold on Amazon?
Are CVSI products sold online/Amazon??
That was me. I said I was buying everything I could at .5.
This is extremely undervalued by every metric there is, and only so because of where it's trading OTC.
this is now priced at value stock levels not anywhere near growth stock.
I'm in for another 50K tomorrow or Friday, depending on the bid/ask.
I'm going to have to file a form if this keeps up.
This is millionaire maker territory under a 1$
Watch for my blocks tomorrow, too. or friday.
severely undervalued here. 1X forward sales of just the one plus CBD product is ridiculous. New product geared towards gas stations, patent for gum. Non CBD for immune. This should be $6-7 right now.
I have a basket full of $ and will buy all you will sell at $0.50 per share.
Can you imagine if just one scientific study came out that CBD does something definitive to Cornavirus/Covid 19 ??
This stock would go to $200 overnight.
My limit sell is for the first 50K at $50 then see what shakes out.
I'd say good luck but this one has so many reasons to pop and run. The day is coming.
Bill
I just dont think you understand how equities work.
If a company is valued at 50 million with a $.50 share price, the company does a 1-10 reverse split and the company stock goes to $5.00
The company is still worth 50 million dollars. Some here are claiming that it's going to return to 50 cents like it was before the stock split
That means a 50 million dollar company would be then worth 5 million.
Thaat's preposterous.
I am not sure why everyone has a hard on about a reverse split.
If you have 10,000 shares of CVSI worth $10,000 (priced at a dollar) and the company is worth $100,000,000. If they reverse split the stock and do a 1-10 split, You'll have 1000 shares of stock WORTH $10,000 and the company is still worth 100,000,000.And it gets us to the minimum sustained bid of >$2.o0 or whatever is it now.
Reverse split wont change your investment dollars in this company. $10000 is $10000 whether its 100 shares or 2 shares or 400,000 shares.
Why dont people get this?
ap17. 2 plus millions shares were bought well below 95 cents. There's millions for sale well below $1.00 now.
ok well I think you should learn the markets more than I need to. The past 5 days, about 5 million shares were traded, all below the share price of $1.20 that means that "someone" or a group of someones BOUGHT 5 million shares of CVSI under $1.20 just like someone SOLD 5 million shares of CVSI under $1.20.
TO claim that a company should pay $4 per share or higher, 6, 8 ,10 is absolutely ludicrous at this point in the game. Where have you EVER see a public company get bought out for even a multiple of 2 times the current market valuation much less 4 time or higher.
It doesn't happen. also, your knowledge of the market and industry is really lacking if you think CVSI will EVER trade above $100 per share.I am having a hard time irrational exhuberance exists at $1.00 per share but here we are. THis proves to me that we are probably going to trade into the 50 cent range again. UGH
Why on earth would someone buy this whole company for a 400% premium? They can buy millions of shares for $1.00 a share.
I wish I would have listened to this person's take on the company CVSciences before investing in it. It would have saved me a LOT of money on what seems to be a horrible investment. Bought at 4 some on what I thought (and what a lot of people here were calling) a "dip" in progress. it was probably a long term if not permanent top on this company's pink sheet OTCBB overhyped penny stock..
Vandalay you were SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO right from the last year or more, on. I would imagine more selling is to come. Wouldn't be surprised to see layoffs and selling properties at this point.
What I find amusing is looking back at the contest of who could guess sales. Many were in the 20 million ranges. I doubt this company will ever see a 20 million quarter, ever.
Holy Crap. This quarter was a disaster. Whey are they spending so much money on hiring people and building out when sales are DECLINING!. Not just slowing, as in a mature industry, but declining...... I see this oil sold at gas stations, pizza shops, movie rental places, all for MUCH cheaper than PLUS CBD oil on the expensive racks on the drug store shelves..... I made such a huge mistake buying this company. At this point I never see them being listed on NASDAG
ok, SO what are the varying requirements and how does CV Sciences meet them? I haven't seen anything about the whats' and hows' printed anywhere......
I bought above $5 ( not an insubstantial amount, for me anyways...) and am getting tired of my money stagnated with a >50% loss for almost a year. I thought I had a well valued growth company. Seems the market completely disagreed with my research lol . if only the short sellers would go away, or next best the day traders.... yeah right. There is no confidence in anyone, but a few people, for more than a year now, that this company will be successful.
I dont know about a sale, but an uplisting won't happen to the NASDAQ until there's a minimum sustained bid at $4.00. Just saying.
hi can you send it to me please as well? I'm long cvsi at 4.5 or so. thank you
I thought I did my research. I bought into the naasdaq hype and hyper growth forecasts. I averaged in over 4 weeks at about $5.50 starting 8-9 months ago. Down about 20%. Great find! not. And no I"m not an idiot. companies are getting listed within a month of application. We are closing in on a year.... Starting to think I got this one ALL wrong.
Holy Crap this stock is a dud. What gives? I'm getting bored of the what if's or mights and maybes.... Something's wrong here.
475 held
strong support
great entry point
quiet few weeks.... I think catalysts positive are listing to NASDAQ, a PR about a major retailer selling our product and news about an upcoming clnical trial for the drugs being developed. Downside would be a notice to list on NYSE, what else? I think if (WHEN) we get approved to move to NAS this stock has an upside of at least 17-20 in a week or less..... This will be the first CBD play for larger and institutional investors to get into.... Good things ahead....
