Hahaha - tell that to Blockbuster, Sears, Amazon, Netflix, AirBnB (owns no hotels), Uber (owns no taxis), Dollar Shave Club etc. You can hold onto your analog ways or go with the digital revolution. Moonlight (or VLN version) will go viral when it is available and any store who was smart enough to stock it will gain customers and sales.
Thanks for the Memories.....

Things used to move at the speed of sound, then speed of light. Today, information (products, ideas) move at the Speed of Thought!
Your thoughts?
Go back and read my entire message and try again. Just to repeat what I already said, if you don't like XXII as an investment, fine. I understand.
However, they did receive approval from FDA on Moonlight and have their next meeting Feb 14th.
Again, I'll let you fill in the blanks as you wish. I did.
1,000,000 Plus views says something, right? You don't think Big Money sees this as an opportunity to cash in. And guess what....XXII has the ONLY approved VLN cigarette.
I'll let you fill in the blanks, or not. It's ok if you don't invest. I understand.
All good. Just be careful with the "sources" used to very ANY facts today.
With that said, here's a direct source with Mitch Zeller discussing nicotine addiction. XXII just received approval to market Moonlight, the ONLY cigarette that is truly VLN with powerful tests and results (not claims) conducted by our government.
Your thoughts on this Mitch Zeller Ted Talks now exceeding 1 MILLION VIEWS?
Who is Mitch Zeller?
As director of the Center for Tobacco Products, Mitch Zeller leads FDA's efforts to reduce disease and death from tobacco use and bring previously unavailable information about its dangers to light.
The Past, The Present and Future of Nicotine Addiction
Mitch Zeller - TEDx MidAtlantic
Tobacco use remains the leading cause of preventable disease and death in the United States, killing more people each year than alcohol, AIDS, car accidents, illegal drugs, murder and suicide combined. Follow health policy expert Mitch Zeller into the murky depths of the tobacco industry as he details the sordid history of nicotine addiction -- and invites us to imagine a world where policy change helps stop people from becoming addicted in the first place.

Brooklyn13,
I replied to this post and rarely discuss politics anymore with perfect strangers online as it's a waste of time in almost all cases, IMHO.
"His new rule, which will be implemented in about 60 days, is the latest step in the Trump administration’s push to repeal or weaken nearly 100 environmental rules and laws, loosening or eliminating rules on climate change, clean air, chemical pollution, coal mining, oil drilling and endangered species protections." NY Times"
My research suggests a different point of view while you decided to go with Main Stream Media which as you should know is anti-Trump in more than 92% of ALL articles.
It's all good, I understand. We can disagree on information where we are BOTH at the mercy of others for the truth.
All the best with your XXII position and may 2020 bring you "perfect vision" and huge profits. Big League!
Yep. It used to be true that Big Business controlled everything.
But this is 2020, the Year of Perfect Vision.
So, how do you explain how Amazon beat the entire retail complex and put most of them out of business? Why didn't they band together and demand Amazon pay sales taxes just like they were required to do?
Or, how did two guys in a garage beat IBM? Hint: AOL
And, how did those same two guys beat the entire telecommunications industry to what is now the #1 method of communication?
I could go on and on but you get the idea.
Low nicotine cigarettes is an "idea whose time has come"?
As the product gets into the hands of nicotine addicted smokers and they kick that nasty habit, they will use social media to "share the news with their friends" who will then share that experience with their friends.
You have to stop thinking like a 60 year old and embrace the Digital Revolution or call a taxi and pay 50% more for your next trip to the airport.
So, even though 22nd Century has a viable solution to the 400,000 Americans who die each year due to nicotine addiction, you believe there's nothing to see here. Thanks for your opinion but there are institutions who have Big Positions in XXII who have reviewed the facts and come up with a totally different decision.
Time will tell.....
Fleet's agreement with 22nd Century Group:
Pursuant to the employment agreement with Clifford B. Fleet, Mr. Fleet will earn an initial base salary of three hundred and ninety-five thousand dollars ($395,000) and shall be eligible for future cash bonus awards as a percentage of base salary based on the achievement of performance targets to be established by the Company. As a one-time inducement, the Company agreed to (i) a signing bonus of $150,000; (ii) an award of 350,000 restricted stock units (“RSUs”), with 100,000 RSUs vesting immediately and the remaining 250,000 RSUs vesting one-half annually over a period of two years, subject to continued service; and (iii) an award of 450,000 stock options with an exercise price of $2.02 per share that vest one-third annually over a period of three years, subject to continued service.
Fleet also purchased shares of XXII on the open market:
President and CEO Clifford B Fleet bought 100,000 shares of XXII stock on 08/27/2019 at the average price of $1.9.
From what I understand, Fleet DID NOT sell his personal shares but not sure if he would be held to "insider standard" if no longer with company.
In terms of the 350,000 restricted stock units, I would imagine they would follow the terms of the agreement.
It appears Aurora was trading at $4.39 at end of Sept 2019 which is last quarterly report and what the other poster was referring to. So, why use previous quarterly numbers? "On 6/3/2019 Auroras stock price was $7.16"
From $4.39 to $1.65 is bad enough but no need to use 6/3/19 prices to make your point.
By the way, do you happen to know the 22nd Century Group exercise price for those Aurora warrants?
I could be missing something here. If so, I am here to learn and I would appreciate any correction to my post.
Enjoy your Sunday!
Saw this on Stocktwits Message Board
JANUARY 9, 2020 Another article about Moonlight & Moonlight Menthol, manufactured by 22nd Century Group!
The word about our FDA approval is spreading across the country.
Let's help it along by re-posting on our social media pages and groups!
https://cstoredecisions.com/2020/01/09/tobacco-turns-21/
"However, the cigarette category did receive positive news, too. The day after President Trump signed the spending bill, the FDA announced approval of two new cigarettes — Moonlight and Moonlight Menthol, manufactured by 22nd Century Group. It specifically cited the fact that these cigarettes contain between 0.2 and 7.4 milligrams of nicotine per cigarette, significantly lower levels than typically found in legacy brands."
Hey, in debates, the one who stoops to "personal insults" first typically loses. I expected better from you but that's fine. I hear your cry for attention but must leave you to your 'research' to justify a product that is causing tremendous harm to our youth.
Sleep well.
"You do know that study was done on rodents right?"
Ok, Hamilton Burger! Here is our rebutal. Your honor, it appears almost ALL tests by the cigarette industry are conducted on laboratory rodents AND NOT HUMANS.
• Philip Morris experimenters subjected 1,000 rats to two years of breathing either diesel engine exhaust or secondhand cigarette smoke for six hours a day, seven days a week, just to compare the effects of the exposure on their lungs.
I could post other examples but let's just leave it there RPH. It's time for my afternoon walk along the ocean here in Honolulu.
Hey, it's been well.....an interesting waste of our time, eh?
Wait for it.....Judge slams down the gavel and declares VAPING guilty!
I leave you to your appeal for mercy. :)
Sorry, you are either feigning ignorance or know better and don't care.
Here's the deal. KIDS are inhaling record amounts of nicotine due to vaping. Do you agree with THAT simple statement?
Baby steps, right? OK....you still following me?
And now this.....
"The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has been waging a campaign to discourage teen vaping. Mitch Zeller directs FDA’s Center for Tobacco Products in Silver Spring, Md. “What I can say definitively,” he notes, “is that nicotine is harmful to the developing teenage brain.” As such, he argues, “No teenager, no young person, should be using any tobacco or nicotine-containing products.” His agency’s concerns have focused largely on e-cigs’ nicotine and the potential it might foster addiction."
KEY PHRASE: “What I can say definitively,” he notes, “is that nicotine is harmful to the developing teenage brain.” As such, he argues, “No teenager, no young person, should be using any tobacco or nicotine-containing products.”
Game, set and match buckaroo!
And with this, Perry Mason walks back to his seat with a broad smile.
Yes, but less is not good enough. Tests have shown that vaping has caused a reversal of the trend in terms of nicotine addiction.
Will you at least agree with that simple fact?
Let's get back to the original point. I see vaping as an epidemic especially for our kids. You seem to think all of these NEW users who
have become addicted to nicotine is just peachy.
We can disagree on that point. It's ok.
Yes, do you?
Vapers are still inhaling nicotine and god knows what else. Researchers tell us they don't even know. Are you aware of this? Again, we can have two different views. It's ok.
"Youth smoking is plummeting." But that's my point! Now, ask yourself why and what roll has vaping played in that stat?
And then there is this little ditty!
"Teens who vape are three times as likely to take up smoking conventional cigarettes, a new study finds."
Again, you have your view on vaping and I have mine. And....it's ok to disagree. I understand.
“What I find most concerning about the rise of vaping is that people who would’ve never smoked otherwise, especially youth, are taking up the habit,” says Blaha. “It’s one thing if you convert from cigarette smoking to vaping. It’s quite another thing to start up nicotine use with vaping. And, it often leads to using traditional tobacco products down the road.”
OK, I tried but you win. In your mind, the above paragraph is just fine while I see it screaming "Danger ahead Will Robinson!"
Neither of are going to change the views of the other.
I will continue to be against vaping and inhaling nicotine by any means.
22nd Century has an FDA approval for a product that addresses that confirm.
All the best to you!
https://khn.org/news/vaping-by-the-numbers/
Vaping has surged in the past two years, particularly among teenagers and young adults. More than 20% of high school students reported vaping in 2018 — almost twice the 2017 rate — according to the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. That translates to 3 million high school students using e-cigarettes in 2018 — well more than double the number who reported using traditional cigarettes.
AND THIS......
Vaping is now so pervasive among high school students that federal health officials say its use has fueled a sharp reversal in what had been a celebrated two-decade decline in overall tobacco use by teenagers. As of 2018, the CDC’s National Youth Tobacco Survey showed overall tobacco usage among high schoolers had reverted to levels not seen since 2004. Though marketed as a healthy alternative to traditional cigarettes, e-cigarettes can contain substantial levels of nicotine, which is highly addictive.
NOTE: "overall tobacco usage among high schoolers had reverted to levels not seen since 2004"
And you say?
So, just to confirm, you're stating here publicly that NO ONE has died or become sick from basic vaping to date?
And, do you think the FDA should have done more research on vaping prior to given it the green light to market their products TO OUR KIDS?
You do realize the number of kids in high school that are now addicted to nicotine has skyrocketed since vaping hit the streets, right?
You ok with that too?
As of December 17, 2019, a total of 2,506 hospitalized EVALI cases have been reported to CDC from all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and two U.S. territories (Puerto Rico and U.S. Virgin Islands).
Fifty-four deaths have been confirmed in 27 states and the District of Columbia (as of December 17, 2019).
Not an epidemic, eh? How about you call the parents of those 54 (mostly) kids and explain it to them. If not an epidemic, what would you call it?
Seriously?
Smoking related disease is still the Number One killer in America. Lung cancer is the #1 22nd Century has a product that contains 95% less nicotine, the addictive ingredient in ALL cigarettes. HERE'S THE POINT: In tests run by the FDA, a high percentage of smokers who tried 22nd Century VLN cigarettes were able to quit.
"When the subjects used VLN™ cigarettes, the nicotine level in their blood was 97% less than the nicotine level in their blood when they used their usual brand of cigarettes. In contrast, when the subjects used nicotine gum, which is a common nicotine replacement therapy, the users’ nicotine level in their blood was only 69% less than when they used their usual brand of cigarettes."
The American Cancer Society’s estimates for lung cancer in the United States for 2019 are:
About 228,150 new cases of lung cancer (116,440 in men and 111,710 in women)
About 142,670 deaths from lung cancer (76,650 in men and 66,020 in women)
Lung cancer is by far the leading cause of cancer death among both men and women. Each year, more people die of lung cancer than of colon, breast, and prostate cancers combined.
Either you are feigning ignorance or know better and are making money from this vaping epidemic. Which is it?
I am amazed that no one is talking about the main reason for any "holdup" The fiasco known to all as the Vaping Epidemic was not supposed to happen. Think about it. Phillip Morris invested $13 billion for 35% stake in Juul last December. Phillip Morris (MO) was trading between $55 and $65 just prior to that purchase and now trades at $45.
The FDA got blindsided by the number of deaths and illnesses related to Vaping.
Oct. 31, 2019, at 1:18 p.m. (Reuters) - U.S. health officials on Thursday reported 1,888 confirmed and probable cases and 3 more deaths from a mysterious respiratory illness tied to vaping, taking the total death toll to 37.
Compare this article from DEC 20, 2018 to the recent announcement by Altria !

The FDA is dealing with a CRISIS and that is their FOCUS right now, as it should be.
Goodbye All
You knew Mark Twain. I do agree with what he wrote about you.
(What else you got?)
Oh Goody. A New York Times hit piece on Trump.
You seem to take pride in posting an article about the Trump Administration from Fake News New York Times. Trump exposed them for what they are back in 2016. The Main Stream Media will NEVER say something positive about Trump.
Now don't get me wrong, the FDA should have already given 22nd Century the green light on their VLN solution to nicotine addiction. Keep in mind First Lady Melania Trump has already tweeted on the vaping epidemic and President Trump added his comment within a few hours.
Like him or not, Trump has shown that he cannot be bought and is willing to fight for what's good for ALL citizens of the USA.
Business in the USA has become too political. Professional politicians only respond to the Power Brokers who fund their elections. I own XXII because Trump IS in office.
By the way, remember on Nov 8, 2016 the New York Times ran a story giving Crooked Hillary at 85% chance of winning.
You own a house? (Just kidding - a little Sunday afternoon humor, eh?)
Wait a minute! Are you my 8th grade English teacher? Ok, yes. I had help with my essay.
