Why do you think we no longer have the distributor license? Was there value in holding that license? Would it have been worth the cost? Interested in understanding where you are coming from by your statement.
I thought the end was a couple weeks ago? Or, was it a month before that? Or was it back in March or January when the wheels were supposed to come off? I lose track of all the unrealized statements.
There are no shares to buy. SIGO hoarded by strong hands.
I agree with all you said. Be a different story if the recent grow pics looked like crap, but they don't!! SIGO has shown resiliency and willingness to make the right changes to produce a lot of superior product. We'll see how this turns out, but its looking up.
May be overthinking this one. They selected high quality new strains, and of course they are going for quantity.
You mean the other way around? Pizza and Music both still in the game, IMO. TJ still has shares in the company, so he's still motivated to see SIGO succeed.
Yes, SIGO's damping of bay-by-bay, in real-time over Instagram, harvest numbers is a sign that they are transitioning from a voluntary reporting company to a mandatory one, IMO. This probably explains why Instagram questions asking about harvest numbers go unanswered. I'm fine with that as long as they eventually report in SEC docs.
One fact over the next few weeks is that those buds in those bays will be growing. $$$$$SIGO
VBF Brands Instagram says "We are a publicly traded licensed cultivator and manufacturer in California. Stock Symbol: SIGO"
They also continue to publish 8Ks.
Those two facts tell me they still have an inclination to file.
Valerie more than capable to lead this. She seems to be action-oriented, not the verbal hype type. I like it.
As for TJ, based on his own statement on Battle Mountain Consulting Instagram, he will be around to consult. We knew back in November there was a change of leadership. TJ will gain experience working in other operations, and will likely bring best practices learned elsewhere to SIGO. He does not have to be there everyday anymore. Chris is in control of the operations.
I believe there is a method to this financial reporting madness. We'll see.
Good luck.
Isn't SIGO a voluntary report; didn't we assume the risk by buying into this? I accept full responsibility for hitting the Buy button.
I didn't say I liked it. Just saying its keeping us all coming here.
Who knows; haven't seen a balance sheet, yet.
Based on what I have been shown on Instagram, it does not look like they invested any capital on a tier system or raised the roof of current GH. Last 8k mentioned a new nursery, so guessing some money went there, or maybe their undisclosed harvest numbers footed the bill.
Can also assume:
-- They paid for licensing fees
-- They paid their employees
-- They paid their lease and utility bills
-- They paid their taxes
-- They paid for nutrients
-- They paid for lunches for employees
-- They paid for professional services
-- They paid for humidifier
-- They paid for AC(s)
-- They paid for grow op consumables
-- They paid for water management resources
Its possible all the above was covered by harvest revenues. Maybe they are in a position to pay back Fife. We'll See.
The suspense is killing all of us, lol! Its that uncertainty that keeps us All engaged and coming back for more.
The companies most likely to go out of business are the ones with "state-of-the-art" grow facilities. All those bells and whistles cost money. SIGO keeping with the basics and remaining practical saves money.
Stepping back from two tier is a positive. Building out the tiers (with water management) costs money. The need to light the bottom tier costs big fixed and operational money. Slower harvesting of top tier costs time/money. The idea to raise the height of current greenhouse costs money. OR, spend none of that and let time and the sun drive increased yields. With the amount money that would have been spent on two-tier, SIGO could buy their own extraction equipment and realize all the profit from the oil. ROI much greater.
Amazing what happens to one's perspective once they have a horse in the race.
Easier to load the bus when parked. I'm gathering dry powder for more SIGO shares at these prices.
SIGO must be comfortable enough with their protocols that they can consistently deliver results for them to be willing to share yield numbers. Took time to dial in, but that should have been expected, IMO.
Did not intend to put words in your mouth, but it does happen everyday. Why is that?
That is a more likely explanation for not filing than them wanting to scam everyone; way more likely.
Really? Its good to be reminded every single day? Is that good, or effective?
It's their regulations, they can change/bend them however they like. One thing is for certain, CA needs this market to flourish. <-FACT
Again, basing your information solely on what a website says is not wise. Website content management systems are typically operated with manual processes. Organizations typically always underestimated the operational needs of a new website. Compound this with the reality of the ever-evolving MJ market and you have a very high likelihood that the information on the site is NOT accurate.
SIGO extensions cover them at least through July 29. If the state is still behind, they'll very likely do what they have been doing: grant another extension. CA wants the MJ market to succeed!!
Everyone seems to assume that SIGO did not make any additional changes to the licenses they are seeking. That seems very short-sighted considering how assumptions run wild here. The last 8k made no statements about the type/class of licenses they are seeking. The adult rec square footage could have been increased to account for the decrease in medical square footage.
Also, FACT: SIGOs grows look better than ever.
From last 8K:
1. On April 24, 2018, the company filed for its annual license for manufacturing with the State of California. The company’s temporary license issued by the State of California was set to expire on May 1, 2018. With the annual application filed the Company received an extension of until July 29, 2018 while the annual license is being processed.
2. On May 14, 2018, the company filed for its annual license for cultivation with the State of California. The company’s temporary license issued by the State of California was set to expire on June 17, 2018. With the annual application filed the Company received an extension of until September 16, 2018 while the annual license is being processed.
3. On June 11, 2018 the Company’s attorney filed for the Company’s Self Distribution Licensing.
The authorities know what they are dealing with, IMO.
Your#4 makes no sense. How is CA going to hit their budget targets with 6 licenses? Using a government website's content to base your DD can lead you down unrealistic paths, like this one.
What is the psychology behind non-investors talking everyday about something they have no vested interest in?
Are you still basing license statuses on what a website tells you?
I would not doubt Valerie. She will win this race.
And they are here for a reason, a purpose. SIGO!!
LOL Just words. No actions. SIGO!!
Sure is lots of energy being expended talking about SIGO. We all can't stay away from this intriguing story
Yes, the authorities are zeroing in on approving their licenses, you are 100% correct.
Is it a full moon tonight? Go SIGO
Backwards? Can you back that up with some facts?
Thank you for the analysis. Like SIGO said from the beginning, the every two-week schedule is what they are striving for. Maybe they are learning that longer veg times gets them higher yields.
Behind schedule is relative. Yes, SIGO did publish a detailed schedule. They probably learned from this that it is only good to publicly publish a schedule if it can be followed to the letter, or beat the schedule. However, in this fast-moving industry, changes should be expected, so not surprised.
THIS is exactly why accuracy is so important. When we under-think things, we leave the door open for correction.
You make a fair point, BeerIsGood.
I'm sure there are very good reasons why SIGO is not giving us the play-by-play on harvests. That reason will likely reveal itself sometime in the future, IMO.
At one point back in late Jan/Feb/Mar, I would argue that SIGO was being TOO transparent and were setting unrealistic expectations from an investor relations perspective. The more they shared on Instagram, the more people demanded information. There was no room for surprise or delight.
Things change; got to keep up. You post here, so you must want to influence the conversation, right? Giving accurate information keeps credibility high.
Doubtful Bay 1 has 2000Kish plants due to them installing sloping drip trays since the time they first published Bay 1 picks; however, it very well could have 2000 - 3000 main colas, plus thousands of other smaller bud sites. If each main cola is .5 oz, the harvest could easily top 100 - 150 lbs.
Canada just legalized weed. The wave will come to the US.
