Zyris actually uses "liquid metal" in the description on its website.
According to Beats website the metal slider pictured is stainless steel. What am I missing?
Thank you!
This is the response I got to same question.
"It's right on the new iphones...go buy one and look for yourself."
Care to share the link
where did you get that quoted description from
What's the meaning of Apple using Liquid Metal as one of the new watch faces? Apple thought it was cool. Nothing more, nothing less.
What a whole lot of gibberish. Stock price tells the whole story, period!
". . . his money and became LQMT’s money - our money."
Correct that it became LQMT's money, but how is it our money? Maybe at a philosophical level at best. Try withdrawing some and you'll realize the error of your logic.
LQT.BE also down 1.94% on measly volume of 5000+ shares. But general sentiment over there is that the Blog was a non-event.
Weren't you calling this a piece of turd a week ago?
"Side bar: I had the good fortune to be near and dear to this development when I was a photographer for the Engineering Dept under Morabian at USCB back in the late 80s early 90s."
Huh, small world. I know Dr. Mehrabian personally dating back to the his UCSB days.
People love to talk about what they know and others don’t. If there’s anything worth talking about, something would have leaked somewhere along the supply chain.
My reference was regarding the credibility of a co who’s website’s latest news was from 2014.
Yup, wouldn't hold my breathe. CAPAC website - latest news is from 2014.
Uh, maybe because this is all just jibberish...
I thought the 3rd iPhone was the 6.1" LCD unit. Apple is a follower rather than a leader when it comes to new tech, hence foldable iPhone probably won't happen until Samsung or someone else comes out with it first. Just my 2 cents.
I don’t like coincidences that much either but statistics can be present in many ways to mean different things. Name Salas is probably very rare in Idaho or Kansas, but much more common in the Southwest. Especially in the garment district of LA where population in predominantly Hispanic.
Plenty for dental & guitar, doesn't even scratch the surface for mid-frame.
That address belongs to a women’s clothing store called Serafina Apparel in the garment district.
Can you enlighten me as to what's so significant about a co with less than $10 mil in revenue? Thanks.
Scam implies some sort of fraud which I don't think it is. It is however just a gamble like majority of OTC stocks. Roulette wheel keeps spinning...
Q2 report just released
Aluminum body and Gorilla Glass. That's what it says on Motorola website.
Once people recognize LQMT for what it is, they'll sleep better at night. It's a gamble and nothing more. It's an OTC stock for a reason. People yelling for $5 pps or Nasdaq better lay off the koolaid cause it ain't happening in the foreseeable future. Just think. Even at $2 pps and a conservative 1x revenue valuation it needs $2 billion! Things like the analyst report posted earlier today is just regurgitated gibberish. While the roulette wheel is spinning I'll hang around, then one or two big pops and you need to get out and count your blessings. More than anything what's telling is the languishing pps and lack of VOLUME. Do you really think a CFO and Exec VP sells shares when things are about to get rosey? No, they smelt it and it stinks.
2 emails and a week later. No response from LQMT Investors Relations regarding the discrepancy between Issuer Name and Ticker in there Form 3 filing. One would think if it was filed in error or there was a spelling error, they would have removed it or corrected it.
3. Issuer Name and Ticker or Trading Symbol
LIQUIDMETAL TECHNOLOGIES INC [ LQDA ]
On a related note...
A separate rumor from the Chinese supply chain has indicated that 2018 iPhones will feature both an embedded Apple SIM and a traditional SIM card tray, so it's possible that dual-SIM dual standby will be available in non-Chinese devices through this implementation method. The Apple SIM is not available in China, so China would require a separate device with two physical SIM slots.
Good article but sounds a bit promotional to me and I have a hard time believing an article that states, "Since 1990s, the bulk amorphous alloy not only are widely used in civilian areas".
Is this what you're referring to? Specifically, "At present, it has signed contracts with famous enterprises such as Foxconn, ZTE, TianYu and Coolpad."
Baby sit Foxconn
Lugee just spun off another LiquidMetal Subsidy in Zhengzhou.

Zhengzhou FoxConn produced 70% of Apple iPhone. They only employ 280,000 people.

So Josh help me understand how BMG in any form is cheaper than aluminum when metals that form BMG - zirconium, titanium, nickel etc are 10-30 times more expensive. Are you implying that manufacturing efficiencies can overcome this?
You're right, it doesn't. All it has to do is provide funding and know-how.
Maybe because Glassimetal needs neither funding nor ability to mass produce? Only Apple has to do these things as they own rights to these patents and they certainly can wait 2-3 years to bring BMG to market as they put a strangled hold over it while we (LQMT) don't have that luxury.
Some have wondered why Apple would spend hundreds of millions (probably an overstatement) on BMG R&D and not put it in a product but that's a rounding error in their accounting.
Can someone answer this question? Lets assume some form of liquidmetal makes it into the upcoming 6.1" LCD iPhone (although all rumors point to aluminum frame). Can Li's JVs churn out 250,000+ units per day? 10,000 and hour? That's what it'll take to produce roughly 22 mil LCD iPhones in the quarter.
Hope I'm wrong but anyone expecting iPhone news to catapult LQMT share price this fall is in for yet another disappointment.
I have an inquiry into LQMT investor relations on this matter. Let’s see if they even respond.
Agree. Filed under wrong co. Liquida filed dozens of these yesterday and today.
Agree that the dates look peculiar as you mention. My guess/hope is that though this doesn't negatively impact LQMT business. If otherwise, then the company would have had a duty to inform its investors or risks facing shareholder lawsuit till the sun sets. Just my 2 cents.
Thanks for your post and bringing some sanity to the board.
Ok, I’ll stir. You hold the pot. Either way we’re looking at same SH_T
PPS? It’s only back to where it was 3 days ago : (
