Nano, Chris is right---Someone talked to Ian Riley and posted his statement about the BOD not wanting to R/S in a position of weakness (which we are in right now). Currently the PPS appears to have stabilized and hopefully will not go further.
We can reverse all day to get PPS to Berkshire Hathaway A if you want, but with little to no revs and profits----all you are left with is a PPS with a long way to potentially fall.
Delivered sales and profits....
BTW, I believe we will see much progress from Fred by Christmas IMO.
Integrity....great DD man.
Have a good week all.
I wonder if the Army is still testing the CT in the next month or 2?........
Ward...good call with the CT car monitoring function. I had car troubles just this morning on my commute (everything was perfect on interstate then poof)---weird engine troubles, lack of normal acceleration===gauges were good, checked fluids okay. Just check engine light going crazy. Really curious b/c I don't think it is the transmission....But the car needed attention ASAP
a CT diagnostics would have been helpful instead of waiting for the dealership tomorrow, hopefully
Car troubles can really piss your day off...
OH YEAH----DAKT JAN 30 CALLS CAN TOO!!!!!!! My butt is a little sore tonight...ouch
I guess I need a hug today.....HAHA
Actually I'm encouraged that the Pro-Sec order is still on, even though delayed with conflicts over there. I was glad to see that part included in the financials. Maybe with the cease-fire right now---HISS can begin again the delivery process?
I guess I am tripped up on the powerpoint presentation back in the springtime that had "thousands"?? of CT's as Letter of intent to purchase. It's one thing for Frank to fib on PR's, but to fib in person to a group of financial professionals (ie jersey) was pretty messed up though.
Regardless of the past, I like how Fred is doing things now and giving us a better, cleaner direction. I feel confident in Big Apple being gone ASAP when the contract is over---Fred has to have gotten the picture by now from shareholders.
Boys and girls, I think we will be fine by the end of the year.
RCP and spence---It is just nice to see HISS and Fred finally coming through on what they say----maybe this is a credibility springboard, if nothing else...
Hoping for a "sales and delivery" springboard soon though...
Drone...How you been, man? You are definitely correct in your post.
It seems that for months HISS was leading us into playing the "port contract" card---now with the change of direction leaning more towards "major automotive manufacturers"---they better finalize on this new card they are playing....
I believe in the product, have more faith in Fred (currently) than Frank at the helm, have little to no faith in the O/S (more than tripled from when I got in).
IF (a big IF) they can deliver a biggie to Volvo or other auto manufacturer---these PPS will be a joke. IMHO
Have a good weekend everyone.
Oh Capt, My Capt....correct me if I am wrong...but isn't Brian Riley---Ian's Dad?...their ages are listed on page 19 of the S/B-2. 55 and 22
http://sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1320734/000126493105000582/formsb-2.htm
I agree, Daddy will defend his son's "baby" to the death---I bet they vetoed Frank and gave him the boot...
Ward...right on, that's the thinking. I agree insurance companies wouldn't pay---but boarding up really blows. The price of the Cyber Shield is worth avoiding the headache of boarding up frequently----especially in Southern Florida and coastal residences.
I don't know the price points that they offer (I really don't even know the cost of the C/S off the top of my head).
I just think that if we can sell CT's in Sprint/Nextel retail outlets and Radio Shacks, then why not sell CyberShields in home building stores....
Looks pretty pimp to me....Read about the SL-20 product....why have they not put out this information in greater detail?
http://www.hissusa.com/products.php?sub=shield
RCP and Spence...I live in Gulfport, MS---1 hour east of New Orleans, of course where everyone around here got whacked with Katrina. (My family and I were lucky b/c we did not get flooded and did not lose property).
With the rebuilding process going on and the FEMA money being tossed a bit, why is the CyberShield not being marketed here, New Orleans, and specifically Florida and coastal places? Honestly, with it being a laminate to place on existing glass, it would be awesome to not have to sweat boarding up every year for a biggie (last year--Katrina, prior year--Ivan).
Spence you can relate to product merchandising-----In my job, I rep homebuilding products to Lowe's stores. Why doesn't HISS attempt to market the CyberShield in homebuilding stores through a Special Order Program in these retail outlets? Lowe's and Home Depot do open up brand new product lines through their own Special Order channels (usually not making brand new products stocked lines, just available through special order to "test the market" first), thus they [the retailers] do not have to worry about inventory $$ at stake---not to mention the Retailers' Gross Margin Return on Investment is huge because it would take up little to no store space (unless of course we could gain display space, which would generate big sales dollars for us).
In summary, win-win for both parties: win for us b/c of sales dollars , win for retailers b/c of low effort on their part, more products available, bringing customers to stores, sales dollars, etc. If the product is as sweet as they talk about and showed at the Shareholder meeting if I recall (I wasn't there), it should sell big.
I wonder if this idea is possible?
This has been discussed before but just trying to toss ideas to get up PPS.
Long with ya boys and girls
Super...no doubt about that. I just think that once rebuilding does begin back in Lebanon, we should see some sales from Pro-Sec for the CS. I am not exactly sure how many competiting products in that arena are available in that area of the world---I'm sure there are some, just not as many products to choose from compared to US domestically.
FWIW, I'm in for a total average .046, and IMHO I still think this company is worth at least that (obviously the market doesn't agree currently).
IMO There are still good things going on with HISS that they have not told us about yet.
Catty, couldn't the Cyber Shield be an important product for Pro-Sec here in the short-term, with all of the destruction (and future rebuilding) in Lebanon?
Don't get me wrong the CT is sweet, but I think we all underestimate the potential CS market in the Middle East right now.
Jersey's right----I only want some [good] numbers in PR's.
Panzer...awesome job---post of the day brother. Still chillin'--have not sold 1 share.
Good luck to all
Jersey: In your field especially (broker/financial land), you must be thick-skinned to survive and ultimately succeed. I am sure that you did not get to where you are because you cared what one person thought.
Same as here---are you gonna let some hater named "Dirt Poor" run you off?----I mean seriously---don't sweat anyone here.
If you need some encouragment (would like to chat about options too), shoot me a line at usmato97@yahoo.com
TIA---have a great weekend.
HISC has the potential, just not where we want to be yet.
RCP and spence, thanks for the good job you guys do here. Sorry about being off the radar, there is just nothing new to talk about here. I am still long with 379K shares.
Tex once mentioned Radio Shack with CT's---This weekend my brother-in-law (who is long 650K shares), visited a local Radio Shack in D'iberville, MS (also a Sprint/Nextel distributor) and asked a guy there if he had heard about a Cyber Tracker product off of the HGTV product show. The guy said he was about the 7th person to ask about it here recently. FWIW, the employee that he spoke with appeared to be someone a little higher up than the regular employees.
This employee brought up the fact that the CT is connected with Sprint/Nextel, and that Sprint/Nextel people are to be trained on the CT by/in the 4th quarter. He also stated that the CT is to begin being marketed by Sprint/Nextel in the 4th quarter 06, whereas Radio Shack will begin marketing the product in the 1st quarter 07. He was not sure if they will carry inventory, but he did mention that they will have brochures at the S/N distributors.
Take this for what it is worth (the guy seemed legit to my bro-in-law), but to me it confirms the idea that HISS is trying to market the CT with Sprint/Nextel's numerous distributors at the end-user market, not only just huge commercial contracts----which is a positive in the face of so much ambiguity in the company's current objectives and goals. BTW, I am not the "Almighty" with information, I just want to pass on what I heard....
I have been long since last June and am ready to see this company grow and succeed. Fred, sell the CT's and drop the O/S.
Good luck to all.
Neutral: Excellent catch! For you, the Cap'n, spence, surfer, RCP, droneputt, and crew (too many to name)---I'll be travelling this week for business and then this weekend, I'll be in the Bahamas scouting out potential locations for our HISC party....
which we will be having down the road.
Cheers to you and wish you the best---I'll send you an email
Still Long and Strong
Spence: 16 trading days until the CC; 21 until the record date. I've been lurking the past week (reading here and there) There is nothing new to talk about here, we've all talked about the same things since Feb. 7.
Except for the few nuggets of DD the board reports here and there [great news today Dallas---thanks], it is just kinda lame right now. Still here and still believe Frank will come through
Long and Strong
Jersey: If the float has increased dramatically, wouldn't it be picked up by volume indicators in the charts? It seems if the MM's had more inventory, they would have played much more for their $$'s, all the while driving up volume to much higher trading levels than we we are at---IMHO.
FWIW, I'm not extremely excited about today's news, however, I don't think it is the end of the world, either. Tom Mitchell is still on board, that is comforting to me. It all comes down to sales/earnings. HISC either produces or not. I think the divy in Actsoft will make this trip worthwhile regardless---due to what they are looking to accomplish.
OT: Chuck, Happy Late Birthday to you! I hope that you are doing well these days and scooting around with ease. I want to hear of your stories of doing laps around the house when we get some real big news from HISC! LOL
FWIW, we share birthdays with Mr. T ("I pity the fool") and the Notorious BIG ("If you don't know, now you know"). Year 1979---I don't know if I am a Gen X or Y'er...LOL
Best Wishes to you and Take care

Jersey: Thank you for all of your help. We are appreciative of all of the DD you find out and willingly share here with us. With your "sway", I'm sure we'll learn something new.
Thanks bro

Jersey: I believe you will have more success at obtaining answers to ?'s from our board via phone (using your broker skills and "discussions" with Frank personally) than any email that we "hope" to get answers from on a conference call not even dealing with the situation.
If you call Frank today/tomorrow, please let me know as I will not repeat email them Thursday evening (tomorrow).
Thank you for all of your help and DD----shoot me a line at usmato97@yahoo.com (one of a couple of email addresses)
FWIW---HISC is being too eerily quiet as far as PR's and news; I truely feel things are going on behind the scenes
Long and Strong
OT: Spence, is she a shareholder yet? (Christina Aguliera) She could buy up 20% the float easy by herself alone with her deep pockets. LOL
Shareholder or not, she is invited to the HISC party.
Long and Strong
I'll send the questions in an email to Frank, I have just been reading to see if any other ?'s were to be added by Thursday, 1 official week before the CC for Frank and Crew to prepare---or answer by PR/update, or email, if they choose to answer. Isn't Frank's email fmoody@hissusa.com ?
FWIW, taking a gracious, humble approach on my correspondence would probably open more doors than coming down hard on issues.....LOL
I do not know if they will respond, but it doesn't hurt to ask
I'll send it Thursday night (most likely) after work and copy my email here to all of you cat-daddys
Long and Strong
Neutral: Questions for the Conference Call---Since we brought it up I guess I'll drop a few to get it started. FWIW, someone on this board who has a "solid" connection to HISS mgmt (or Frank specifically) should probaby email the final list of questions, as I have never spoken with them, via phone or in person. [my thinking is that it will have a better chance to be addressed]
Rough Draft of ?'s: (Please critique and change--this is not comprehensive, I don't have enough time, apologies)
1) Ports subject---HISC's target market, CT perfected in Savannah. Do we have any current negotiations for contracts? (doubt they answer straight up) Remember they PR'd the estimated 125M in CT sales 3 years. Any updates about this, specifically Savannah?
2) Delivery of orders--Knox County TN, Guarda, Pro-Sec (updates, by July of course) and others that I have may have missed
3) CT tests---South Carolina State Board of Ed., Army in Sept/Oct?, UK train testing (wasn't there a UK port testing?)
4) CT negotiations---Jordanian gov't and Ford/Volvo at one time? Any others that I missed?
5) O/S issue---further plans of reduction?
6) Other products: i.e. Cyber Rad, Cyber Shield, Quantum Sniffer, etc. Any negotiations for these products? Remember Cyber Shield was PR'd for 250 M in 5 years
7) Rev guidance for this year---is 55M still on target for HISC? Revs for Actsoft? (could be wrong isn't 25M doable this year?)
8) Shareholder meeting---NYC this year confirmed?
9) Any new product lines currently being reviewed for new distribution agreements?
10) Barry Bennett still on board---his current role with HISC? What about Spencer G?
11) Any CT orders from valleyassociates.com?
12) Any new Sprint/Nextel distribution info? Will CT's be only sold on S/N website or physically in retail stores? What about rumours of Cingular?
13) S/B-2 to be refiled directly after merger to get HISC to OTCBB?
14) Any newly developed functions of the CT or other product lines?
15) White Paper for Cyber Rad coming soon?
16) Any new updates about Pro-Sec selling HISC products in Middle East?
These are just a few inquiries I had off the top of my head. I figure they will answer most of the Actsoft/merger questions, as I did not even add many of those to this list. Truthfully, my questions deal more with the HISC business side of things---I'm not worried about Actsoft at all.
There are tons more questions here that I have probably missed----Everyone please add/delete as necessary.
Long and Strong
Neutral: About the conference call---Should we as a board gather up a list of [few] questions to definitely be answered by Frank during the call? (similar in fashion to Kookbook's questions during the SHM)
I know Spence mentioned it earlier about a couple of port questions---just a thought.
Long and Strong
RCP: This is Frank's opportunity to ease people's minds..."method to the madness"
IMO He will come through

OT: Surfer, awesome catch. Thanks for the DD. I tried to email you tonight, but it was returned. Drop me a line bro.
Take care

Naik: It is okay to express concerns here---this is a place of open discussion. Do I have concerns with HISC/contracts/BigA/merger/PR's/many topics/etc.?, Yes I do (we could go on for a while). Do I harp on the same thing over and over, day in-day out?---no, usually I drop an email to someone with more knowledge on the subject. BTW, I don't think you harp. :)
Everyone remember that this is an anonymous message board. Tone is the name of the game. I think if one is to display concerns, "rain" instead of rainbows, etc. and still receive respect----then you have to be respectful, gentle, and humble in your approach. Is this board at times a cheerleader board? YES AND RIGHTFULLY SO. We frequent here b/c we have money at stake, well most of us, and we bring/want info about our investment decision(s). If you don't have money up (or potentially up), why "hang around"? LOL
It is true here though....the more DD you bring to the party...the higher you get on the totem pole LOL Good night
Long and Strong
Rochet, IMO Big Apple/HISC read this board. It is probably the best place to find info about this company/discussion out there.
Quick other examples of answers quickly after heated discussions here: [Could be wrong but think there is more]
S/B-2 submitted
Does CT need export license?
Pro-Sec order for real
Pro-Sec Quantum Sniffer deposits
Long and Strong
IMO There is more going on behind the scenes then the investment community is aware of currently. Can I prove that? No---but here is an example---through DD of one of our board's members, we did learn about EVSI.OB----not from HISC PR's (not as of yet, of course).
IMO this merger "buys" them the time to get production of CT's [and hopefully thus contracts] ramped up
Also---for the board: Why take shares instead of salary if you are Frank and Co. unless you know you will earn more than 100 G's?
Long and Strong
RCP: Sales never hurt my feelings....LOL Good day to all
Long and Strong
Tex, for that very reason on ports subject, if [and I do mean a big IF at this point] HISC is to land Savannah, Tampa, and/or any other port----IMO things will get crazy in a hurry. Like some have mentioned here before, the domino effect---IMO I see many others getting on board quickly.
I keep asking myself about Actsoft---a company with solid products, partnerships, sales AND PROFITS----why CEO Tom Mitchell would want to be bought out by an upstart "untried" pink-sheet company like HISC. I remember Kook stated that he very much wanted to go public.
Questions to think about here: Why would Tom even waste his time and his company on HISC if HISC was not legit and didn't have some big things going down? Remember Tom/Actsoft's story: He began off of a couple hundred bucks at a friend's garage, took much personal debt to maintain----Do you think he will intentionally let his baby go to the wrong hands? Honestly, his firm is lined up to do so much in sales this year and with the growth for the next few years, why even sell out to these guys? Why not just go public on your own? Why would Actsoft "need" HISC, especially projecting 25M in sales this year, with (guess) @ 30% 7.5 M in earnings?
Thus for me, Actsoft just reaffirms my decision to invest here and stick with Frank. IF HISC is good enough for Tom Mitchell and his company, then IMO it's good enough for me and my investment money.
IMHO, HISC wanted to keep O/S and restricted shares down, but to acquire Actsoft would have meant huge jumps in these areas----thus the pulling of the S/B-2, acquire Shell, move them in its place, etc.
Good night all---ready for early June
Long and Strong
Who and Tex...Remember, it is just good to know that there are "eyes" out there, more lurkers...exposure I guess
Also Tex---you and I talked about the port question a few months ago (gov't having to get standardization before HISC would get any contracts). I guess I disagree with the idea because IMO it would take too long for the gov't to get its act together [legislation, red tape, etc.] to agree on any technology standards---i.e., XYZ technology could possibly be outdated by the time our gov't gets involved.
Tex---any reports from our good buddy the Cap'n--or ole Warren from the trailer park? LOL
Long and Strong
Sorry about the PR today guys, my 7-year-old nephew and his 1st Grade Class will do better on their next HISC PR!!!...LOL :)
On the bright side, PPS didn't fall off the charts---something is brewing to be out news-wise next week IMO, because we are way overdue.

Rochet, I don't think it to be a major deal. Who knows---it could have been an error. I just checked and did not see the Cyber Key logo---however---the Sprint/Nextel logo does seem new to me. Did you catch the Cingular logo as well?
While it was talked about today that CyberKey has Big Apple as its PR firm, this was common knowledge from a while back. I am not able to reference a specific post, but I know we have talked about it here.
Still not expecting any major sales news until after the merger IMO. If it does come before, then all the better...
