The key is that they have requested "delivery of an additional 200 units", which leads me to believe they are talking about delivering 200 more of the 500 on the P.O.
Either way it is not worth our time to discuss any more.
Bottom Line: HAPPY CUSTOMER WANTS MORE!
)) Yeah!!! Break out the RUM!
C-ya, gotta go to work
You are correct Ward. I am happy that they are completing an order. That alone is a plus since we have had very little to be happy about. It shows a real customer who is really happy with us.
The software development is also good. I, personally, am a little tired of hearing about development and potential, but that is just me. I know it is a good thing, but I am hoping our development is not moving slower than the market.
Let's hope that our patience will turn into $$$.
P.S. My son's got another little league game today so all is good as of 5:45pm. LOL
Someone please correct me if I am wrong:
"Homeland Integrated Security Systems to Deliver an Additional 400 Cyber Trackers to Atlanta Trucking Company"
The rest of the PR simply explains how and when they will be delivered.
100 on hand + 400 more = 500 (completing the original P.O.)
Thanks for sharing your correspondence skier. I think the PR is just explaining the filling of the existing 500 from the original P.O. It is still good news, but I don't think it is a total of 700. Maybe I misread it.
Either way, thanks, and have a great day.
Capt.- Thanks for the accolades on my post. I am not sure I deserve "Best of the Month" status, but thank you. I am humbled in your presence.
Your "Sniveling Crap" post ranks right up there and might dethrone me. Your use of just the right adjectives and timing of when to use CAPS is masterful.
Keep up the good work and I will continue to aspire to YOUR level.
Have a great week.
OT: lowcien- Look on the bright side...
When you inflated your tire, it did not blow up in your face. When you ran the stop sign, you did not kill anyone. Rain is good for our crops and the game can be made up. Oh yeah, and there is always a bar open somewhere. Enjoy!
Perspective is a beautiful thing. LOL
Nice post.
Good morning, suggestion to the entire board...
There has been a lot of bickering amongst ourselves for no good reason. There is nothing new to be negative about. This company is what it is and we are all just waiting to see if there is an official burial in our future or if we actually make it off of life-support and blast off.
That said: Everybody who still has hope, God Bless You. Everyone who is negative and has given up, you are entitled. I am somewhere in between, but that is not important.
My suggestion, depending on where you live, is to go out and find a Little League baseball game or Little Hoopsters basketball game or whatever organized kids sport is in your area and sit down and watch. No cell phone, no pagers, just you and a group of kids. Watch how much fun they are having and listen to some of the conversations they have with each other. Don't even take a watch. Just plant your butt in a seat and cheer for both teams.
You might actually relax and enjoy yourself for a while. When the game is over, go up and thank the coaches because they don't get paid, and thank the kids because the entertainment was free. No contract hold-outs, trade demands or drug testing, just kids being kids.
We all need a break from the adult world in order to keep a proper perspective on things.
Sorry Spence if this isn't deemed appropriate, but I think many here need to get a grip on what this stock is, and what is really important. Hopefully no one here has more than they can afford to lose in it.
When they halted trading, I think he decided to put the pedal to the floor and "show them" he was not afraid. Almost as if he is saying, "You spotted me and halted trading because you THOUGHT you had something on me. Come take a closer look at me, I am not going away and you are wrong".
Either that or we are "Going out in a blaze of glory", to borrow a Bon Jovi phrase.
The bottom line IMO:
This action absolutely creates EXPOSURE.
Positive exposure if you are legit.
Negative exposure if you are not.
All we can do is wait. Simple as that.
Congratulations Andromedus1 on your new position. I do not know when you took over as moderator, but I just noticed it. Good luck and thanks to SmokingUSA for starting this board.
I own a few shares and I do not know the market as well as most on this board so I tend to read and then do my own DD to learn as I go. I do not invest for a living, but I do believe this stock can be a huge long term winner.
I appreciate everyone's opinion and the sharing of information. Hopefully we do not have too many manipulators here, but that is why we all have to verify info and be responsible for our own DD.
I have serious concerns about this Reverse Split, but I can't help but think (hope) that this might be one of the few R/S that will help us rather than hurt. It just does not seem necessary with the state of things before the trading freeze. Oh well, I am long and not going anywhere for better or worse.
GLTA
Your choice of words to describe Mr. Pierce shows your level of professionalism, or lack there of.
OT: who- What the fu@#. Talk about a free fall the last 3 months. WOW! Are you in it? I am guessing the Divi is gone and the shareholders are pissed at the PPS. It is either a steal to get in right now or the company is going out of business. Hmmm
Oh wait, welcome to our world.
OT: It helps to buy REALLY small bristles.
Sorry Spence, I will stop.
GO HISC!!!
OT: Broom bristles actually do a clean sweep of your entire system.
I e-mailed Cramer today fully expecting to be ignored or told it is too speculative to comment, but I figured it took all of 5 minutes and it was worth a shot. I will be sending notes to Vons and Save Mart out here on the West Coast too, asking them to carry Turn Left.
Can't hurt and now there is actually a track record forming.
I am still hoping, although I can not imagine HISC moving in the way DCBI has in the last week. Our share structure is too messed up. If we can get our act together it would be nice to see a steady rise in the PPS.
A agree with you, there are several things I would be willing to give/risk to see this thing take off, excluding my first/only wife since she makes more than I do. She's a keeper.
I am enjoying one ride right now, but I would love to double dip and ride two of these Pinks at the same time.
GLTA
Spence, I put HISC next to DCBI on my ticker and I am hoping a little bit of it rubs off on us here. Amazing, crazy stuff going on. I do not expect us to ever move that fast with our current state, but a little action would be nice.
I have stock in both so I go over there to feel good and I come back here for a reality check. It would be great someday to not have to have a reality check anymore. LOL
OT: Thanks Ward. That link is appropriate on any board.
I don't blame you. I am going to stick this one out since my position is not what I would call Major anyway, and I think there is still a chance this could work. I like to roll the dice in Vegas and this is no different for me at this point.
If I had a larger position, I would probably join you. I am not real happy with the lack of progress here.
GLTY
The taste IS different. You are correct Trinityz1. I mentioned it a couple of months ago when I first received the new cans and no one seemed to notice. I liked the older taste better myself. I have not tried the Turn Left, yet. Still waiting on my DVD and 4-pak.
jimi- I still don't have mine. I ordered it only because it came with the 4-pak of Turn Left and I have not tried it. I would not have spent $12 on the CD. I figure the 4-pak is worth half the cost.
Once I watch it, I will tell you what I think.
I agree Trinityz1. If the company is getting stronger, they should buy back shares. If they do a R/S then that tells me they are still struggling and we are in trouble.
Howdy Saturn- You've got mail. eom
Very Weird! I actually sent an e-mail to corporate before mine came back so I will be curious to see if they respond.
The site is back up. I have it saved in my favorites and it was not working, but now the same saved address is working again.
That's ok, I will save you a seat next to me. LOL
Ward you are an accumulating machine.
I hope so, but I am not sure there are any reliable charts for this baby. I do hope you area right, but I have resigned myself to not let the emotion meter go too far from the middle anymore when it comes to this stock. It is easier on my blood pressure that way. )) Ahhh "Serenity now"
Have a great day
Flip a coin. eom
Thanks skier, but to tell you the truth, I won't mind a few scrapes if that is what it takes to get this thing moving. Heck, I will even take one for the team: Go ahead "Break a leg". At that point we will all have plenty of money and won't need AFLAC. LOL
March Madness is about to begin so a few weeks stuck on the couch might not be too bad. Hmmm!
PS: I got my helmet with a full face shield on and all the vitals protected so give me your best shot.
Have a great day
OT: GOODNIGHT, GRACIE!
You are correct, you should not have to do it. That is what bothers me about our "sales force". I can relate to your dealings with vendors and it is very cool that you have those contacts. I was trying to play golf full-time as a tour player while I was working at my store (nights) and we had an annual golf tournament, just for fun. I would get invited by management to play with an important vendor for obvious reasons. It is amazing what you can accomplish if you can just get the "ear" of someone, and I would have 4 or 5 hours with them. Good luck to you.
It goes back to a simple theory that I and others have mentioned before. Put it in the hands of your customers and make them give it back, THEY WON'T. IF you believe in your product and it is a good one, then people will not want to return it. Oh ya, remember, if they don't return they will need more. ))
What is the RAW cost of a CT? If HISS went around and distributed 500 of these, free, to companies of interest it could pay huge dividends. I know there are other costs. You need to give them a month of service, set-up costs, training, etc. Compare the cost of doing that to sending retaining a PR firm or creating a commercial.
You have a good strategy and it is noble of you to try, but the problem is that you should not have to.
I was wondering about that angle, though. When I worked in the grocery business (10 years), I noticed that sometimes starting at the bottom (the employees) is better than trying to get your foot in the corporate office door.
Example A: A customer walks in and tells you about a new product you need to carry because the customer loves it and wants to keep shopping at your store. You call and order a couple of cases or so of product "X" to keep the customer happy. Next thing you know you are calling corporate to tell them that they need to look into ordering it for the whole chain because it sells.
Example B: Salesman walks in to the corporate office and wants to show his product to the company. The receptionist calls the executive about setting up an appointment and gets the following, "Send him away, I have seen stuff like that and I am too busy."
I have seen this work. I spent ten years working for a chain out here in California. At the time we had about 300 stores and every now and then something like this would start in one store for one customer and then, BAM! the whole chain carries it.
Note: Using the term "bottom" is not meant to put down the employees, it is just a term referring to the corporate ladder structure.
Good luck Spence if you choose to follow through and do it. Too bad HISS wouldn't send you one free of charge if you could prove it was going to a vender to try.
OT: Thanks, Who. Made me smile. eom
Thanks surfer. eom
Actually schlots I would be surprised if they were in the stores. It says you can purchase them at ANY store. I do not think we have sold that many to fill ALL of there stores. That would be a heck of a PR. I hope we did not consign them, ughh.
My guess is that you would purchase/order it. JMO
Excellent point. BAC should automatically use the savings account for over-draft protection if a client is in Keep the Change.
Sure, each day just wake up and SMILE!
You got that right. Seriously, I wish I had some words of wisdom, but everything I can find on HISC is pure speculation. I think we have some good possibilities on the horizon, but I do not know if we have enough gas to get there. It feels like we are chasing a rainbow trying to find the end of it.
I am actually beyond the point of frustration and I have accepted where we are. It is not possible for this company to make me any more upset. If we go under completely, so be it. I am through getting angry because it is not healthy and it is not worth it. I will, however, celebrate like you have never seen if this thing turns around in a significant way. We all will. Above .25 per share would be nice.
An example of what is important:
My son lost his first tooth last night and you should have seen him. I was home at the time and he was scared for about two seconds and then he smiled from ear to ear. I think he actually fell asleep with a smile on his face.
