We are very happy to welcome Mascon Cable, New North Networks, Whistler Cable and Aurora Cable on board. On the LIVE event side of things Fight Network is set to rev up the action this month as we get set to deliver some of the biggest names from the fight game right to the streets of downtown Toronto all part of the Molson Grand Prix weekend experience called "Rumble at The Race."
Events kick off on Thursday July 6th at 7pm on King St W at Blue Jay Way as Fight Network will be on hand as part of the Molson Street Party until 11pm admission is FREE so come on by check out some MMA demo action experience some Muay Thai bouts up close and there will be a surprise guest stopping by at 8pm to sign autographs and say hi to the fans...lets just say he is a "Natural" in the ring himself...
Then the action moves over to the Exhibition Grounds all weekend long as Fight Network presents "Rumble at the Race in Thunder Alley part of the Molson Grand Prix of Toronto.
Tickets are available online at www.grandprixoftoronto.com or on site at the box office you can even by one day tickets just for Thunder Alley where on Friday July 7th starting at 12 noon the action begins with LIVE Muay Thai bouts MMA demos, Sumo Suit Contest, Bikini Babe Wrestling (yes) and the only man to hold 2 UFC titles from two different weight classes will be on hand from 3pm until 4pm. He is simply known as "The Natural" Randy Couture, so stop on by and say hi and get this legendary MMA star's autograph if you like.
Then Saturday July 8th is going to be a "Slamm'n Day" as we keep the action going in the ring and out starting at 10am on the grounds in Thunder Alley, at 11am we welcome the winners of the Toronto Sun "Sumo and Win" contest who will get in the ring and "Get it On" to Win a Lunch with Pro Wrestling great Bret "Hitman" Hart who will then be on hand to sign autographs from 12 noon to 1pm.
Muay Thai matches , MMA demos and Bikini Babes Wrestling will also be happening all day long and then to top off Saturday festivities Fight Network welcomes high flying TNA Wrestling Star "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles to Thunder Alley from 5pm to 6pm for an autograph signing.
Sunday July 9th is Race Day... but we keep the action going in Thunder Alley with more bouts starting at 9am sharp, then Gary "Big Daddy" Goodridge from K-1 drops by to meet the fans starting at 10am and later at 10:30 he will be joined by Bret "Hitman" Hart until 11am so come on by.
Fight Network's pre and post fight news coverage of UFC 61 from Las Vegas, Nevada starts Friday July 7th with the weigh in show then all day Sunday July 9th we breakdown the action that went down in the octagon.
