But I bought yesterday and not today.
Bought 760 shares today. Puked in my mouth a little bit, but bought 760 nonetheless.
According to that chart, EVIO owns the 2nd best lab in Medford/Central Point, Oregon, out of two labs. Quite an accomplishment! (sarcasm)
If the management is so great, then why are mom and pop labs in Oregon able to do their testing in house, but EVIO has to pay their competitors to do the work for them?
Most other labs in Oregon are able to test for pesticides, with the same bureaucrats doing the approvals. They just have better management than EVIO has.
This chart is depressing.... four labs in Oregon and they all suck, because they can't test for pesticides. Meanwhile, the management of the competition seems much more capable.

I bought 30,000 @ .0102.... I'm hoping that's a bargain. I'm thinking it is.
This pesticide testing issue with not having the right equipment is SGBY's fault. Other labs beat us to the punch. Sad. It's convenient to blame ORELAP but all of the other labs who are able to test pesticides have gone through the same process.
Oh well.... brighter days ahead... especially in California...that's why I'm buying.
The rulemakers hurt the Oregon labs in May but helped them in August.
This should be great for the bottom line once ORELAP does its thing.

I trust THCM more now because what he said earlier when he didn't want to share the email matched the content of the email when he later shared it.
I had read a few weeks ago that California was not going to have its lab requirements at the same time sales start. I think the state fears a bottleneck. Demand for testing services is sure to be brisk.
Right now, only 1/3 of batches are tested in Oregon for pesticides. This rule is expiring!!! More testing (3x more)..... more revenues.
"On that note, the Oregon Liquor Control Commission announced the limited pesticide testing rule will expire on August 29, 2017, therefore starting on August 30th every batch of usable marijuana must be directly tested for pesticides."
It's good to hear that a noteholder won't be dumping at the end of the month. Fear of massive selling may have hindered some buying. So good news for sure.
I have trouble understanding how lesser labs have better equipment and earlier certifications. At least that will change.
The stock would bounce huge from a drop caused by a reverse split. How low of a market cap could this thing truly go?
It is a real company with real goals.
I'll be looking to buy the drop.
These are some good points, Steven. This is a reverse split that is being done for very good reasons.
I recall reading a few regular posters on this board expecting and hoping for a reverse split well before the company announced the r/s vote.
It is necessary to get on NASDAQ, and it's necessary to attract more serious investors.
It is hard to see how marijuana stocks with California exposure won't get caught up in the inevitable hype of January 2018. And investors expecting hype in January 2018, when will they put their chips in?
If we are seeing the start of a broad market correction, will investors sell index funds and look towards marijuana stocks, which may be high growth and recession-resistant?
What happens when it clicks with investors one day that Jeff Sessions isn't going to wreck marijuana markets?
Will there be enough CA labs when testing becomes mandatory? What will those news stories about CA lab testing do to SGBY stock? What will a name change to EVIO do to the stock?
It's hard to see how Oregon margins won't eventually improve as the company improves its Oregon certification and gets new equipment going. This upside is pretty much guaranteed.
What if WW identifies an opportunity in Nevada?
What if he announces a lab in Humboldt County or Mendocino County?
Any one of these things could get this stock soaring.
Q1 and Q2 were released when the stock price was quite a bit higher. What if Q3 is better than Q2? It could run.
This stock has always rebounded. Whatever happens in August with any high volume selling, there are enough people involved in this stock who think long term.
It's about time this stock woke up.
bought 24k at .015, and then it plummeted.
bought another 18k at .0125
I think we'll see a green day tomorrow. Thanks for sharing your viewpoint in depth.
"On July 31, 2017, stockholders holding 62.54% (the “Approving Stockholders”) of the then outstanding shares of our Series D Preferred Stock, par value $0.0001 per share (the “Series D Preferred Stock “) voted at a special meeting of holders of Series D Preferred Stock held on July 31, 2017 (the “Series D Special Meeting’) to approve an amendment to the Certificate of Designation, Preferences and Rights of Series D Preferred Stock (the “Series D Certificate of Designation”) in order to correct an error and require a proportionate adjustment to the voting ratio of the Series D Preferred Stock in the event of a reverse split of the Company’s capital stock (the “Series D Amendment”). The amendment was filed with the Secretary of State of the State of Colorado on August 1, 2017."
I think someone had brought up the omission of the D shares from the earlier amendment. This is great that the company is doing this. At least twice now in recent times, we've seen the company act with integrity and correct an error.
Oregon marijuana tax receipts are on an upward trend, which is good news for our labs. The June sales data was released yesterday.

There are just so many good things going on at the same time. These guys are so smart.
I think she means this person:

Prepare yourself for the $SGBY ?? sale today, those RS ratios are nasty."
Someone just needs to point out to him the criteria for listing on NASDAQ.
Some big holders have been vocal here for the months saying that a r/s is what needs to happen for the company to eventually get on NASDAQ. They will see this as good and vote for it as part of the company maturing.
I am excited about the name change. EVIO. That should mean a new ticker symbol too eventually.
It is easy to visualize SGBY being the market leader for California lab testing. The CEO (WW) is top quality. The scientific staff is top quality. The vision is top quality. The improvement in revenue and margins is great. Q3, set to be released around August 15, should give folks even more confidence in the company.
We still don't know what WW did in New York, Michigan and Mendocino County, but I am sure we will find out in the coming weeks or months. Was he in Arizona too?
We still don't know which research university in the Pacific Northwest they are partnering with, but it was mentioned in the investor phone call from a few months ago. I'm looking forward to it for sure.
This recent stock price action has been great. Just wait until CA testing becomes mandatory and there aren't enough labs. SGBY will rise sharply as the CA news outlets cover the story
Marijuana will be THE story in California in 2018.
Expect a lot of people to make a lot of money.
When?
Remember in October 2016, the labs were swamped in Oregon.
When will this happen in California?
IMHO it is too early to show his whole hand for California, so I think we need to be patient.
When is testing mandated in California?
When is the strategically optimal time to announce lab opening dates and locations in California? This may be a situation where the short-term shareholders' desire for information are in conflict with the best interests of the company.
No news. This will go back to .0009 soon. People have trouble believing what they can't see.
"Patience will be rewarded."
I like that quote. This is so much going on behind the scenes that we have no clue about yet. The bottom line question is do you trust the company leadership? I think yes based on what I've seen so far.
What do you make of the job openings on the Evio website that seem to show the company is looking to expand in both northern and southern California?
I think our memories are different. I didn't hear "18 labs in CA." I heard "18 labs."
I nibbled @ 0.0122 :(
I don't have any input on who makes comments here and then trades off them. I find this forum entertaining though, and I enjoy being a student. This has been a learning experience in losing money for a promising company.
Thanks for your opinion that a board user appears to act dishonestly.
We can count this as another promise kept- to have labs on both coasts. WW is a CEO with credibility, nice.
People talked about the twitter post with the hockey goal being scored, but I think that was a hockey team from Detroit. If SGBY scored a "goal" in Michigan, I can't wait to hear what it is.
This MA development was a great surprise and this company is making moves. Good job.
Thanks for your response and for your contributions here. You get some flack from people occasionally but I think you are the anti-pumper.
Tar, Did you buy back in? At what price?
I thought you were waiting for 0.0127.
It was good seeing some of you whales announce recent buys @0.0135. I bought there too. I don't see this going much lower.
Does WW want to have a lab in Massachusetts? Can someone do some research to find out what the regulatory landscape looks like in that state?
The company clearly has a plan for California. The public just doesn't know what it is yet.
I have some forecasts:
Guaranteed: Many more eyes will hit this company between now and California's green January, WW and Lori will be doing more and more media appearances and interviews as marijuana becomes THE news story in California.
Inevitable: Demand for testing services in California will be very high. CA is the king of agriculture and will be the king of growing weed
Nearly inevitable: SGBY will announce a partnership with one of the six research universities in the Northwest (my guess is OSU), and this arrangement will bring in revenue for SGBY.
Probable: WW and Lori will be one of the first in California holding a marijuana testing license. I think they will be ready on day 1 whenever that is, and they will have a first-mover advantage.
Almost certain: Another lab will open in Jackson County https://www.indeed.com/cmp/Ecotest/jobs/Analytical-Chemist-0ac1e731e2a9e7e8?q=cannabis+laboratory
Probable: A higher frequency of mj testing will be required in California compared to Oregon.
Probable: The company, like any other, gets better with experience, and it will have better margins in CA than it showed in Oregon.
Probable: Q3 will be about even in terms of revenue as Q2, but Q4 will be best.
Improbable: Feds shut down recreational MJ.
Wild guess: There are two pending applications for a research license in Oregon. One of those two will have some sort of connection to SGBY, but we won't know until the details of the licensees until the licenses become active.
Do you have the latest data on the medical mj sales in Oregon? Those sales are not reflected in the tax data because the tax rate is zero.
Sales are growing: Oregon collected $5,734,618 in state taxes (at 17%) in May of 2017.
In April of 2017, the state collected $4,484,514 in taxes.
In March of 2017, the state collected $4,476,032.
To find total Oregon sales for May compared to March, do some algebra.
5734618/x = 17/100
show your work: 573461800=17x
x= 573461800/17= 33733047
$33.7 million sold of recreational marijuana in Oregon in May.
In March:
4,476,032/x = 17/100
x = $26.3 million sold of recreational marijuana sold in March.
Oregon's marijuana sales are growing. It's over a million dollars a day in sales. (Oregon's population is about 4 million.)
We should be happy to see the growing Oregon sales for taxed marijuana. I personally was very surprised at these May numbers, because sales seemed flat for a few months, even as more and more retailers opened their doors. Perhaps consumer prices are on a mild downtrend.
We should expect testing growth in Oregon due to the number of growers that will be receiving licenses within the next few months.

Mags, Check out the latest Oregon tax receipt data. The state collected more in May than January. And we all know you loved the January sales data.
Garberville is in Humboldt Co., not Mendocino Co.
