Git, they may have to wait until the shareholders meeting to hear about the deposit. Some clowns are talking about an SEC complaint by April 1st if they don't get news of this deposit. Guess what?
Management will probably let them go ahead and file whatever they want just to embarrass them.
Supposition: SEC comes knocking, ECPN tells them about an upcoming announcement of funds from the sale of the concentrates, announcement to be made at the shareholders meeting, shows them a copy of the check, SEC goes away, people who filed look like fools. None of them speak for me or other shareholders I have made contact with.
Git, one, two or three disgruntled shareholders do not speak for all 7,000.
To DR5. That's good to hear! I like what I'm hearing too, and look forward to upcoming "events".
Iron Ore Pellets Price 108.60 USD/t and climbing. How is that bad for this mine? Speak to me Georgei. Say what's on your mind little buddy. It's OK if we disagree.
LOOK at the prices. Going Up Up UP! : )
http://www.infomine.com/investment/metal-prices/iron-ore-pellets/1-year/
I'll take the PMs though thank you.
End? Git, it begins soon. The Fe is a high-grade ore, so that puts a bottom on the sales price of this mine. The top? We'll get a taste for that when they disclose the funds transferred to El Capitan's bank account from the sale of the PM-laden concentrates.
Iron ore prices SKYROCKETING over the past few months. Don't tell me the El Capitan mine has no worth. Especially with these tariffs on steel and an infrastructure bill sure to pass this year. Take a look:
http://www.infomine.com/investment/metal-prices/iron-ore-pellets/1-year/
Iron Ore Pellets Price 108.60 USD/t. And climbing if the charts are to be believed. Now, who told ECPN management to take out claims on that additional acreage? Inquiring minds want to know! What say you Georgei? What say YOU?
WRONG! Our rich Fe ore deposit just underwent a survey, so you have no idea what you're talking about because even the company doesn't know the extent of the resource (but they soon will). As for overseas ore, shipping all that dead-weight can be mighty expensive. Our ore doesn't have to travel as far. Once pelletized, it becomes very attractive to smelters. But ...
Who cares. We are after the PMs. The check is on the way (read the PRs - payment due 60 days from Dec 31st. For all you know they have the funds deposited already and the announcement is about to happen). I am VERY optimistic!
IRON ORE. Even Georgei can't deny that the El Capitan mine is a rich iron ore deposit, with a viable road system to truck hundreds of thousands of tons of very high grade Fe pellets to any nearby smelting plant that someone could build in NM in order to provide feed-stock to a tariff-protected US steel industry. This after Congress passes a $1T infrastructure Bill. All that money will be spent for American steel, not foreign, American iron ore, thereby causing an employment boom in both the steel industry and of course construction.
So Georgei, in the very least El Cap has around 3,000 acres of high-grade FE which would make it a mine with value. The PMs? THAT'S where the real money is, but even without it, this is a valuable, salable property. A floor-value thanks to the Fe. Of course we expect a lot more with an upcoming (reportedly) sale of 2,000 lbs of PM super-concentrates. That's what will put ECPN on the proverbial map! For investors of course.
Seems we have a floor of iron, and a top where, thanks to PMs, the sky is the limit (on the property's sales price)!
What say you Georgei my best friend. What say you?
Why would a CONSTRUCTION GUY, "Big Doug" Sanders, be put on the BoD to replace Clyde? Along with 2000 additional acres claimed, could there be plans to expand our mining operations? Inquiring minds want to know!
From the forum:

Form 8-K February 20, 2018:
https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1135202/000121465918001472/d2211838k.htm
I inquire!
Who told El Capitan to file mining claims on 2000 additional acres around the mine site? And why? Inquiring minds want to know!
Your math, not mine - and pretty weak at that.
There's platinum. This is proof. That's all I was saying. Now, where's my friend Georgei?
Platinum! There's one thing for sure - the El Capitan ore contains platinum. So Georgei, when you say there are no PMs at El Cap may I respectfully ask - what in blazes are you talking about??? This posted yesterday on the El Capitan website:
Johnson Matthey
In October of 2017, El Capitan Precious Metals, Inc. sent Johnson Matthey a 3.37-pound ingot. The bar was smelted using copper as a collector for platinum. Johnson Matthey, a world leader in refinery and material science, refined and assayed the material and reported a yield of 5.904 troy ounces of platinum
By any metric this is good news. And they made claim to 2,000 more acres. I wonder who asked them to do that:
Staking and Filing Additional Mining Claims
Earlier this month, on February 13, the Company filed additional mining claims with the State of New Mexico on an additional 2,000 acres.

Bright spots by any measure. We await more good news! : )
We're friends GeorgeiIsta, but I'm of the opinion that this is finally coming through!
Good. That makes me very happy! : )
GeorgeiIsta, I assume when you call me "Panipoo" its with affection. Like calling someone Winnie the Poo! Certainly you're not calling me that out of some sort of malice? We're friends, so why would you make fun of me? I'm gonna assume you aren't. That makes me happy! : )
Go ECPN!!!
Surprise? 10-K? Wait! You'll have to wait until it comes out. Just like everyone else. This is a public company, not a peep show.
Someone on the forum spoke of it. They said nothing came of it. I don't know any details, or even if it is true, but I'm gonna find out. That's why I've put in the FOIA. Just want to see the report, even if it says everything is OK. Who knows what info I can glean! Won't b 4 U though. TB!
I figure one of you critters tried to start trouble. Well, none was found. Or maybe some environmental group. They harrass mining companies this way. And oil. Pure bs!
FBI? Git, do you think there is something illicit going on here? Well, I don't.
I've already submitted a FOIA (Freedom of Information Act) request to the DOJ to see all the information about this supposed FBI look at El Capitan. They say on the forum that they checked them out and found nothing amiss. In other words, they dropped it because nothing was afoul. At least that's what some people on the forum said. I'll find out!
So, I fully expect to get a file on the case, if one exists, (names blacked out) and then I'll read what the Bureau has to say. I expect any report will contain quite a bit of information. No criminality means it should be available to the public.
Don't expect me to share it with you. Go through the trouble yourself!
Surprise, Surprise, Surprise! Surprise for you GeorgeiIsta and Git:
"In November of 2017, the Chairman and a board member met with an internationally recognized geologist and a representative from an entity that is considering the extraction and necessary separation of the El Capitan ore into a precious metals hyper-concentrate and an iron product. Following that meeting, the Company entered into discussions to define an agreement with this entity to process the iron ore at the El Capitan mine site and transport the iron product to the processing site. It is anticipated that the precious metals concentrates will be processed separately."

With more BIGGER surprises to come! Y'all stay tuned now, ya hear. : )
: ) : ) : )
Istaquio, Istaquio, where for art thou Istaquio? : )

Where did the person that posted this photo on the forum say this truck was licensed? Via the ecpm.lmi forum; "On a real note I saw DD loading a Canadian truck with a pellet of barrels." Now, connect the dots. As we say in Hawaii - hang loose! I remain optimistic. : )
You sound like Moses. Well so is dd. Let there be gold! It is done.
What's obvious to me Git is that you have no idea.
You are so off-base Georgei it ain't funny. Well, truth be told it is for me! : )
Git, too bad those in-the-know are no longer posting on that forum, but the few ruined it for the many. Matter of fact, do you think maybe they know what the story is about the 10K? Don't expect them to now come over here and tell you! You're just gonna have to wait.
Git - ever think there may be a REASON for the delay? lol! : )
Still time to buy before 10K hits the streets! Maybe ...
Remember the three words Gomer Pyle used to say? That's what you're in for! : )
You try my patience Georgei. You try my patience. Despite that we are still friends. Ain't that nice!
The poison forum talk of lawyers. It's all hot air. Most of them don't have two nickels to rub together, or they live with just enough money for living expenses with a little left over to save, and they think they're gonna get a group together willing to spend tens of thousands on an action that has no guarantees? That would put ECPN permanently out of business? That's laughable! They're broke small frys. Or very middle class people wanting to get rich quick. But I'd expect that from a naive penny stock holder base. That's why they play penny stocks! Soon enough they'll have nothing to moan about.
Or they're the people who want to stop mining in NM. They're on that forum too. Looking to stir up trouble in the hopes of bankrupting the company. That well known environmental activist tactic won't work. And it's too late, especially with Trump in office. Like I said - they'll never get broke or middle-class shareholders to pony up. Pony up 50 - 100K and years in court. Mining is happening in Capitan, so they just need to accept it.
Arkie is good, but not the best. Only one commenter bring real, informative insight into what's really going on.
El Capitan Precious Metals Executes Contract with Precious Metals Buyer
Per the last press release. Think you know who the buyer is just because some bottom-fishers are trying to peddle fake news on that toxic forum? Doing so in order to buy shares on the cheap? Well you don't, but you have heard the name before. Get ready for a wonderful surprise!
Last chance! The train is leaving the station.
Only one forum commenter is worth listening to. We all know who this fellow is. The rest of them? Most anyway. I discard their comments with extreme prejudice. In other words - to the round can they go! Shareholders need to get ready to take a victory lap.
Davidson saved the company - without him there'd be no extraction, ECPN would have been finished. Yet on that toxic forum you have people trying to deny him his due. Trying to call him out in nefarious ways. They must not be shareholders because without DD they'd be broke!
I told you that poisonous forum was infiltrated. DO NOT BELIEVE some of the clowns you see posting there. The question remains. Which one is IstaGeorgei? Hmmm? Perhaps he'll tell us (I doubt it).
Big money is coming. Wait till you hear how much!
You don't know what you're talking about, but soon you'll find out.
Cash flow is about to begin. Stand by!
What I see Georgei is a forum that has the same group of a dozen or so posters that comment over and over again (three or so people in particular post non-stop nonsense). Two or three have worthwhile information to pass along. The others? Well, they seem to have an agenda.
They talk useless crap or complain and moan, but add nothing to the conversation because they know nothing. Lots of people do have good insights but they have long ago left that board. Too bad because they could calm people's nerves.
Now shoo GeorgeiPorgiIsta pudding and pie because I don't listen to you. How long have you been at this? Unusual is the most polite word I can use to describe you!
Ista, local environmentalists, others with an anti-mining agenda, residents of Capitan, NM, disgruntled shareholders who invested way too much, those with low risk tolerance (low financial ability to lose money), uber-longs who have wasted years of their lives living ECPN, are posting on that ECPN discussion board and you have turkeys dumb as rocks believing them. Makes me kinda laugh and wonder why people fall for that/them?
Ask yourself one question (some there are) - Do you know even an iota about whose posting comments and why? I sure don't! But I tell you this much. They will never stop. Read with caution.
PS. What have some of those people been doing for the last few years? I've been buying SHOP, WB, FB, BABA, SQ, TCEHY, PAYC, WDAY, NVDA ... many other stocks, and in some cases I have multiplied my investment by a factor of 10. I know where to take risk. Some of those people? Makes me shake my head! Do they know how much opportunity has passed them by? Sad.
