Hello ki2002.......Thanks for the tip on nFUSZ. Hoping to make back my loses from IMSC. I got in a bit late at .89, but expect a very nice return. Tech looks, as Rory says, disruptive. I will buy more in the near future. Thanks again for the tip!!!!
Thanks Ki, that was the story. Appreciate the link for all to see.
Just saw Franky on "The List" (tv program) talking about the fly-board. The story was about a minute long with demonstration, close up of product, and some other information like max height, running time, max speed, and plan for future product for the general public. Let the publicity begin. I am still counting on ETD and Fly-board to marry for something more than most are expecting.
Fair enough Ted. GLTY
Unless you are in the meetings there is nothing you will learn here. Nobody knows. All we know is that Implant has developed and marketed the best mechanical nose in the world to date. You either believe they will be successful or not. Their last PR was very positive. What will happen next will be in the news, not before.
I am adding here up to 3% of my portfolio. That is my rule for Implant. If things go well I will make a few tens of thousands. If it goes sour, I will lose up to 3% of my wealth. That I can deal with.
Wow, this is getting funny!! So many losing their conviction. All the professor's here all of a sudden. "Stay tuned"....this is getting good.
I predict that there will be some news....sometime. It will be good or it will be bad. How is that for professing.
Wise investors assess their risk tolerance and invest accordingly. They don't make decisions based on pure speculation on message boards.
How about this for an example.
It is 1982, and the seller and original owner of a 1959 Thunderbird is asking for $5,000. The buyer offers $3,500, but the seller borrowed and owes $1,000 for a new paint job. The seller would like to pay off his debt, make a few bucks, and lets the buyer know that this car will be a collectors item in just two years. The buyer really wants the car and agrees to pay more than the blue book because he is making an investment in the future value of the car. Surprise to say that today the car is worth over $50,000.
That is a better comparison to buying Implant. Simple, but makes more sense than your example. GLTY
Well, it could have been a lot worse. Green for the day, and it didn't run in the wrong direction.
Last I heard these strong companies were losing many tenders to Implants superior technology. This is ETD, not something like televisions. The best matters, and Implant is the best. No great company ever made it without debt. I am not worried one bit about the debt. This is a success story, no matter what you say. You should buy back in. And not a few shares. You will be rewarded. Got half of my shares under a quarter. At break even now on my measly 42,000 shares. GLTY
Thanks for the very stunning video. Most are blind or choose not to see. Explosives are one of the chosen methods of murder by these radicals. Implants technology, spread around the world, will without a doubt save lives. It will take great intelligence and technology to win this war. I don't want to someday live in the United States of Arabia.
Vintage it is good to hear from you old friend. I just lost it for a second. Still love my investment here in Implant. Great things to come.
I am hoping for the same thing. Debt is the only thing keeping Implant from profit after income taxes and interest. Their margins are fine, just paying tons of interest on debt. We will see soon what they do to fix the problem. GLTY
Implant would laugh at an offer like that. Total joke!!!!
18 bits might perk their interest. Otherwise they do what they have been doing. Beating the competition all over the world, delivering orders, and innovating.
Remember, they do not have to sell.
Six bits.....you are joking right?
I'll leave that for you to guess. I might just be a scientist.
My "speculation" is certainly not out of the realm of possibilities.
GLTY
That is in the future for Implants patented sensor technology. A sensor at every turnstile, door, curb, toll booth, etc. All things are possible.
They don't have to sell the company. They said they are self funding operations. The debt will be dealt with as they reach profitability, post EBITA.
Thank you for your brief reply. We will have to agree to disagree on the future outlook for Implant Sciences.
I believe that comparing this to a poker game, Implant is holding the winning hand, the news will come out and some will win and some will lose. I believe that Smith's will lose and Implant will lay down a royal flush.
Again, Let's agree to disagree. Best to you.
Which announcement are you referring to?
Buyout......Refinancing......Catsa order.......Partnership.....Licensing agreement......New product launch.......Another multi million dollar order, or two.....A bomb threat stopped by QSB-220.......TSA delivery.......Profitable quarter.......New government grant for R&D........Another patent......Biggest drug bust in history thanks to IMSC tech.....
No it's not
Could this happen?
Buy out deal says buyer will pay $82,000,000 cash to pay off debt.
Then $400,000,000 cash into current float for shares of IMSC. Approx. $5.00/share.
Creditors are paid off and get no additional shares. Not owed anything.
Total deal is worth say $525,000,000. This allows for all options to be exercised and paid out.
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Siemens.....
Buy more and hold here.
Sorry if I offended anyone. My bad, this is no place to get petty. Thanks to all the great posters here. Good luck to all!
I think others know it. Who knows what will happen. I guess that's the risk we take. I see much promise in the technology, proven sales pipeline, future products and innovation, patent portfolio, worldwide certifications, company awards, and the will of management to get their financial house in order. I am a glass half full kind of guy.
Now, if someone buys the company soon I would think that $3+ is not a stretch. If Implant goes it alone, refinances debt, gets back on the AMEX or Nasdaq then I see $10+in the next say five years. I can wait.
The stock is being played right now and has been for years. Like most say here probably not for much longer. I am just "staying tuned" as Dr. Mcgann said.
$1.40 PPS would be a major rip off. There is no way that Implant would do that. Or DMRJ. Hell the patents are worth more than that alone. We talk a lot about ETD and drug detection, but in my opinion there are far more applications worth billions in the future with the patented technology.
Thanks Fred, I saw a story on MSNBC about IMX's ETD back in '04 and bought shares. Not long after they sold off the medical division and focused solely on ETD. What a great job they did. Best in class!! Good to hear form you.
Bought in at $9.00 in 2004. (IMX) Averaged way down over the last 12 years. I am a small fry with 42,000 shares. In the black at .58. Always believed in the technology. Now more than ever.
Some of you here may recognize my handle from the BS yahoo board. Good to see you here. Time for the payoff.
