Francois: What are the odds that there may ultimately be, as you propose, a cancellation of the PP and a court ordered end to Mcbride's involvement? That is, do you see these goals as realistic possibilities or long shots? I was surprised when he stepped down as CEO, so nothing would surprise me.
I am still hoping for some clarification from SEVU and some voluntary changes.
Francois: "If the PP is cancelled or its provisions altered" Is this your present goal?
How does a company move from public to private? If, as you say, the entire management team at SEVU has been discredited, what is the future of SEVU? Seems to be thriving on the marketing and sales side.
Francois: Would you summarize for the board your opinion as to what McBride is actually trying to do here. Do you see him as scheming to (re)take control of SEVU because he knows it will be laying golden eggs, or do you see him as an individual who does not care about SEVU's future and is only seeking to extract whatever dollars he can. I am not making any allegations here about McBride, but would be interested in your opinion as to his agenda. Prox.
Couple of interesting points today which caught my attention.
First is the speculation that the underlying motive here is to gain control of SEVU - suggesting the huge potential that we all have hoped for.
Secondly, despite all that has happened, the stock price fluctuation and volume was fairly unremarkable today. Despite all the rhetoric, there were no major positions dumped.
Certainly there will be more information to come out soon placing everyone in a better position to make their own judgment. In defense of FG, he was the one wss previously challenging McBride to resign and a new management teem be appointed. Rich was saying that he would not do so. There were posters such as myself, who felt that was unrealistic, yet indeed, he did ultimately resign and perhaps has a new agenda to regain control, I don't know, but I do expect some changes to result from the current situation.
The above is an outsider's speculation only.
I have no plan to sell today. I'm going to wait for some clarification. I am willing to accept that SEVU needed production funding and management struck the best deal they could. The marketing, sales, product side of SEVU seems strong and well managed. Good luck to all. Prox.
Complicating the plaintiff's claim for damages is the fact that all BB stocks (or all that I was following) were in a free fall during that period and are down 90-99% just like SEVU. What would SEVU be without these issues; 60 cents 90 cents?. How could that be determined anyway? Whoever sold at a loss when the retraction occurred probably lost less that if they had held the stock and all claims had panned out, due to general market conditions. There has never been any doubt that SEVU has a huge upside; that truth has been a constant. JMH. Prox.
Seahag - interesting thought. A SECUREVIEW system will pick up a parking lot crime, which will be reported in local, possibly national news. Part of the story will probably be the type of camera that picked it up, which would be a huge, high profile boost for SEVU.
May be someone with knowledge of the potential legal outcomes could comment on the difference between punitive and actual damages. Seems that there is little case for punitive since there is no underlying venal motivation and Rich did not profit from the error. Punitive is usually the big number. As to actual, my recollection is that SEVU tanked after the A@P report. I don't recall how much the stock went down after the revenue issue was clarified. I'm not sure we are talking about a millions even if damages were awarded at 100% let alone the standard of around 5%. I wonder what that worst case scenario actually would be? It doesn't have the ring catastrophic problem to me. As FG has pointed out, it has more the smell of A@P.
John: Wanted to highlight part of your post:

"I also talked to companies with parking lots, they could not believe how cheap Secureview was to resolve their problem. After I showed them my Secureview they immediately contacted SEVU for purchasing."
-----------
the commercial application of Secureview in parking lots and large warehouses makes a lot of sense to me. Investors who are buying SEVU are looking to the future. Eventually the entire focus will be on the future. Prox.
Another difficult and threatening chapter is now closed. SEVU has survived; still moving forward. More and more posts are looking toward the future. Maybe now we will have some calm waters and make some solid gains.
I look at this like
a very very complicated flight. There are been delays, bomb threats, attempted sabotage, the flight crew has been replaced, and the plane spent a long time on the ground. But now, we have finally lifted off and are on the way to profit land. I'm going to sit back and enjoy the ride and may be pick up a few more shares before the spike.
This will further discredit any class action which references anything in his SEVU report. Seems like things are turning around nicely; board is mostly positive, future oriented, like old times.
SR Communications Inc., security contractor for Cash America International Inc., submitted an order for 12 additional SecureView cameras. Accompanying the order was a bid request for pricing on 200 systems.
Hence:
Cash America tried the SecureView system, they like it, they are intersted in ordering more, perhaps 212 more. Hence we may also conclude that other companies who are currently trying out SecureView will also like the system and re-order. Etc, etc. These are commercial orders. Sounds bullish to me.
Perhaps someone who knows the arithmetic could take the 5.5 million figure, estimate earnings and calculate a estimated fair value stock price at a PE of 20 or 30.
Doesn't take a genius to recognize that people have a reason for posting. Either the poster owns the stock and wants it to go up, is short on the stock and wants it to go down, is being compensated for posting, or has some personal reason for posting despite having no position. It's usually pretty clear into which category a poster falls. I was onboard for the ride up, I sold a small portion of my holdings at 17, and have now trippled my holdings at current levels. I'm resigned to play this hand out till all the cards are on the table, win or lose.
Inside the numbers...all buys today...(literally)!

Clearly, Ditka is not a master of the English language. Is it really that important to know exactly what he meant by "could work" as we have posters on this board who have ordered and used Secureview in their homes.
Aside from marketing, SEVU is building a pretty impressive resume of business associations.
Not to shabby for a company with a market cap of about 6 mil.
Knowingly and fraudulently filed false ... Wouldn't that be the issue? Are you saying that SEVU has admitted that? How about mistakenly?
PPD is NYSD. Seems to me that anyone buying a OTC stock must be aware that the company may not do as well as projected. I would think that would affect any lawsuit, that is the common knowledge that OTCBB stocks usually do not meet expectations.
I have no intention of doing that. The price now is similar to a shell or a OTC that's totally speculation, totally dreams. I resigned to just wait this out.
Francois: normally massive short coverage drives the stock price up. Are you speculating that there was also panic selling, that is, a successful shorter's game plan.
May partly depend on how long they were told the wait time would be. As a consumer, I don't usually mind waiting if I know what to expect. In any case, hopefully more new orders are coming in to replace any canceled orders.
Interesting one hour piece tonight on Discovery's "justice files" on the exploding use of surveillance cameras. Conclusion: "We are going to see far more video collections" as private individuals, business, law enforcement turn to video survelliance to catch the guilty party.
The chairman should have broad discretion to delete posts which are clearly biased, repetitive, or inappropriate. Rules can be refined and refined, but judgment cannot be eliminated. Claims of censorship are just manipulation as there are many stock forums that allow total free speech. Many longs prefer a safe haven where there is an honest discussion of issues among longs and surely someone will provide such a forum if not IHUB. It does seem that many longs are holding and are quite inured to the constant bashing. I have not sold a single share and may add to my position at these levels. At some point the discussion will turn to the future again and hopefully there will be renewed excitment fueled by solid progress.
Suggestion: attempt to clarify with Rich anything that can be used by A@P before it is posted.
Bull, that is a very strong statement of disapproval. Is there any reason to suspect that, when showing SEVU products to potential buyers, Rich does not present a professional appearance? Appropriate dress for an openhouse is quite different than what it might be for a demonstration to the military. Prox.
You don't think that overall market conditions are relevant? You are a very irritating person, but something tells me, you are here to stay.
I believe it is today at 12:00. " If you have not received an invitation in the mail, call us ASAP at 727-866-3660. You will not get into the Q&A"
You say you are not here to disapprove, then your next sentence is clearly a statement of disapproval. You are not making sense to me. There are plenty of BB stocks I don't like, and I don't post on any of their boards. PS. I'm sure this is going nowhere.
That certainly is a fair position to take. My point about potential is that most BB stocks are nothing more than potential. Our expectations of SEVU are far higher. I disagree about A&P to the extent that I think he is a very smart and clever fellow, a formidable adversary.
Crookk: Is there anything about SEVU that you approve of?
One thing is for sure, we certainly have gotten far afield from a discussion of the technology, it's applications, the products, how they work, and their potential. That is what we were talking about when SEVU was selling at $25 and we didn't even know about Taiwan and GSA and all the other controversies.
Although Rich has had his contribution for sure, the shorts have been very effective in changing the focus on the discussion away from SEVU's potential, which is all most BB stocks have.
Instead we talk about the rumor of the day, or the latest allegations, or new damaging evidence that is supposed to be coming out. Shorts have done a very effective job, but still, for a BB stock, we are basically talking products and potential. Shorts do not want to talk about this, because this is real.
Paulmk: you either give Rich the benefit of the doubt or you don't. You do, other's do not.
I do and I am hoping for better days beginning with the open house. If I did not give him the benefit of the doubt, I would have sold, and would not be posting on this board.
The faking of a break-in is not consistent with an open house. I continue to believe that Rich needs to be more careful about what he sends out to the public. I think he needs to read over what has been written and ask himself, is this going to create more questions than it answers?. Investors want factual information with no spin.
I would like to hear from him, for example, the ramification of the loss of a computer, and some reassurance that the break in will not compromise ongoing business activities.
Would also like to hear what steps have been taken to guard against further break-ins or sabotage of any kind, and the status of the investigation.
Perhaps some more knowledgeable can fill me in, but if you have someone on tape committing a crime, can't you just go and arrest them?
JMO - Prox.
HWGC: That's true, but his releases are often so imprecise that they invite speculation.
Here in a mainframe that isn't all that big:
http://www.openmainframe.com/
"Mainframe Computer, a high-level computer designed for the most intensive computational tasks. Mainframe computers are often shared by multiple users connected to the computer via terminals. The most powerful mainframes, called supercomputers, perform highly complex and time-consuming computations and are used heavily in both pure and applied research by scientists, large businesses, and the military. See also Computer; Microcomputer; Minicomputer; Time-Sharing."
http://encarta.msn.com/index/conciseindex/0E/00E15000.htm?z=1&pg=2&br=1
That being the case, still, it just doesn't seem like good judgment to me to be posting this kind of information on this board, or on any board. It just seems too off-the-cuff, unprofessional, to vague, sophomoric, to much like the kind of thing that you read on RB.
There was a break in and we know who you are . . Why not just wait for an arrest and then post the link to that. I hope this all makes sense soon, and we can get information from other than message boards.
