Public Warrants? : Anyone know if CGC or other COMA stocks have any that we can get our hands on?
And how would I go about doing that..
Would be nice to get into that market before November...
TIA
Great day for OGI. Going to hit 52-week high in the next two days.
OGI management definitely has the investor in mind throughout all decisions.
Great company to be invested in.
Look out for $3.00 in November IMHO
Thanks no I didn't hear this one
I thought the Cost per Gram was supposed to be significantly lower.
$2.66 is pretty brutal to be honest. You have to be able to compete wth Aphria Greenhouses and OGI cheap power costs..
Do you have a link to the Dundee Analysis?
False, the drop in the other LP weed stocks directly corresponds to the minute the news about the DEA got leaked.
CGC is lagging about 10-15 mins behind.
Day traders doing their thing, and are starting to buy back again. We'll see a new high near 2pm
I believe that it's just the requirements will be met and submitted any day now.
The actual uplisting wouldn't happen until approximately September/october I believe..
CGC's run will probably come first week of august then last week of august-beginning of sept.
For Allard decision - then a possible fallback.
Then Aug 31 financials will be way better than expected IMO.
All just a prediction.
Right now I don't hold any CGC as I'm making more money on another LP's run. But I will buy back CGC when the time is right.
I find investing in the industry and buying whichever stocks are at a bargain price at the time is working for me better than my old buy and hold strategy. It's more buy and hold for a month or so now...
Been out of CGC for a couple weeks now. I was thinking of buying back soon at a low. I love CGC...
But I'm going to hold off for a while now, there are better LP plays out there for the short term with regards to ROI. The market doesn't like CGC and its because there is more potential for return on the smaller profitable companies.
you can't go wrong with cash flow positive ;)
Just found this on Sedar... So the financial report was actually worse than expected..
Pretty sure the next one is going to be way better.
Never thought I'd see Mettrum coming close to CGC share price ..

The time to accumulate shares is near..
If Canada Post goes through with the strike Monday... We will probably see a nice little downward run to pick some cheap shares up.
Canada Post issues 72-hour lockout notice, work stoppage possible Friday

Here's the link to the discussion paper:
http://healthycanadians.gc.ca/health-system-systeme-sante/consultations/legalization-marijuana-legalisation/document-eng.php
Section 3 outlines the production systems. It points out flaws with the old systems and says the MMPR is a solid model.
"The current model, the Marihuana for Medical Purposes Regulations (MMPR), is exclusively a regulated competitive model. Under the MMPR, as of June 28, 2016, there were 33 licensed producers, 416 applications in the queue, and approximately 20 new applications being received each month. Moving forward, this type of regime with competitive market forces could be one model for production of marijuana. It has a variety of potential advantages including making available a wide variety of strains at different prices."
Later in the section it talks about phasing this in and storefronts..
But this is all information we already know..
It really just confirms everything Bill Blair had previously alluded to.
The only thing I got from all this was that we're now getting a decision in November rather than August 25th...
Here's the PDF version: http://healthycanadians.gc.ca/health-system-systeme-sante/consultations/legalization-marijuana-legalisation/alt/legalization-marijuana-legalisation-eng.pdf
For anyone not listening live:
They just announced the task force.
There will be an open discussion paper for Canadians to submit their opinions on how legalization should occur.
Then the task force will consider this within the coming "few months", and a final decision will be made in November..
I think waiting on the discussion paper is the only thing holding CGC's bid strong right now. Hoping theres some good news in there. Probably is.
Can someone link this when they find it/ it's released?
Lol no worries.
Okay so it looks like there's a high probability of Canada Post striking this Saturday...
Canopy seems very prepared to handle this though.
...I think that article is a bit dated
Any news updates on Canada Post? It doesn't look like a deal has been reached.
Has anyone received an order from an alternate currier? If so what is your experience with them?
I'm going to stop following so closely on this board for a while.
It's turned a lot into greedyshyster's opinion vs everyone.
No offense man I think you're right on a lot of things but I'm just turned off for a while.
Highlights of the Conference Call:
With respects to Financial
45% increase in revenue, this will continue.
Cost per gram will be going down significantly. Canopy will be a market leader in this category.
How much? Well Tweed farms was previously only able to operate at 10-20% Max of it's full potential.. Greenhouse, Solariums, and Indoor grows.. Now they are at 100% and Greenhouse grows are the lowest cost per gram you'll see. Less expenses too, no HVAC, rain-collected water. etc.
Cashflow positive? Canopy could be cashflow positive now. However, with REC coming in, Bruce would rather keep going full steam so that when product is on the shelves, 40% of consumers are picking CGC.. This is more important than just being cashflow positive just before REC...
With respects to Goals:
TSX uplist requirements to be fulfilled within 30 days (they were allotted 90 days).
Bruce set two bonus criteria for this year:
1) Market Share
2) Earnings Per Share
A primary focus was phenotyping; developed a room for the best of the best plants to thrive. Some obviously more medical/CBD based, but now they're really aiming at REC and THC based strains with aims of winning the cannibis cup.
Not Focused on the States now. They have better opportunities elsewhere and only want to dabble where it is completely Legal and Deloitte can Audit. That being said they have a close watch on US Regs and are in position to expand to the US if such an opportunity arises and can be done legally.
XIB Consulting has been primarily working on finding value companies. There are so many now that are just almost LP's and are getting "hungrier" by the day. They will probably not acquire an already established and thriving LP but either a newer one or a soon to be.
Final points
CGC is holding market share at 16k patients and maybe increasing slightly.. All/most patients are considered actively buying. Their inventory has not changed much despite the increase in rev and patient count, so this means they are accurately forecasting and producing enough to meet demand.
On the Canada Post Strike - Tis last week they have been using alternative methods of shipping and it works fine so they are prepared.
Also, book a tour and come see for yourself!
All in all, everything seems on track and growing strongly. A Very positive report!
Wish I wasn't all in or else today would be a great buy..
Hemp would be very wise of Tweed to invest in.
I have seen two advertisements so far for "Mettrum Originals" - Their Hemp line...
f you live near Toronto, the Molson Canadian Amphitheatre has one (I saw it while at a Mumford and Sons concert)
There's another advertisement on way up the 400 north to cottage country.
Advertising for selling Hemp Shells is legal and gets the brand name out there...
I just saw on CP24 some interviews with people who get their "medicine" from some of the dispensaries.
One guy said it's much safer to get it there than the guy on the street.
I would imagine another contributing factor is the ease of achieving a prescription from a dispensary. In some cases apparently you just have to show that you have a prescription for some type of painkiller.
Overall, I think a decent portion of the general public using dispensaries have almost NO IDEA about ordering from LP's.
The word needs to get out.
Some of the activists position themselves as standing up for the people. However I think they are mainly fighting for their own profits. If they really wanted to help people access medications then they would spread the word about the current legal way to do so in my opinon. Rather they are fighting for the illegal way just because it's in their own best interest.
Either way, the word NEEDS to get out about LP's and same day delivery. A lot of dispensary users have no idea.
The LIFT expo may help
This is all too perfect timing with the announcement of Bedrocan's same day delivery and Tweed sponsoring the LIFT expo on Saturday-Sunday.
It's the exact chain of events that would have to occur so the public realizes that dispensaries are operating illegally and there is a legit way to get "medication" same day.
Thank you!
BIll Blair blasts unlicensed pot shops as reckless
http://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/national/bill-blair-blasts-unlicensed-pot-shops-as-reckless/article30133256/?service=mobile
Dispensaries supplied by LP's. Seems obvious to me.
Anyone know if we can listen to the meeting at 2:30 live?
Any educated guesses for this quarter in terms of financials?
Looks like were up to around 12-14k patients and 11k orders per month (rough average).
I'm pretty sure Bruce mentioned something about being cashflow positive at 10k patients..
I think you're overreacting. It's a bit childish in my opinion.
I'm not going to continue this any longer after this post.
But in response to that poor articulation of you're thoughts. Yes, previously they were saying a task force was approaching in the coming "several weeks". I was able to read that clearly.
Now I see that Bill Blair has changed it to something more immediate.
http://ipolitics.ca/2016/05/16/will-canada-violate-international-conventions-if-it-legalizes-pot-bill-blair-doesnt-think-so/
I think you're confused buddy, they haven't announced it yet.
If they have please feel free to share the details or a link.
Regulation forum on the 24th.. LIFT Expo, sponsored by TWEED on the 28th...
Task force + Germany expansion news any day now..
I'm back in at 2.60
Key words here: "where the substance for sale is completely unregulated"
.
I think the only remedy to this problem is authorize only regulated substance.
Perhaps that's where XIB consulting comes into play.
Remember that 100k deal? Looks like they're off to a good start.
You're right, the graph is looking better.
Still, there is only one way to shake out this short volume and that's some positive news. Until then they will press the price down ever so slowly.
I believe the Quarterly report End of June will start a change in momentum, amplified by the August news.
I hope to be in when the momentum changes, but I'm still out of CGC right now. Just following the big players.
I hated the feeling of being in when I saw the last big block selling trickle down the SP (and my profits) over time. Today's 81k block sell would have put a knot in my stomach. But the anxious feeling I have now of being out and possibly getting burnt with a spike in SP from unexpected news sits better with me.
Lesser of two evils.
Either way, I think a few months from now the SP will be way over $3.00
All my honest opinion. Im not one to say I bought in here or there at the perfect moments (after the fact). I'l state when i'm in or out at the time. Im out right now - and not investing my money in any other companies because its going right back into CGC when the time is right.
Still 1.68Mil in short volume. Possibly why the slowly draining SP.
It's good we're down from the beginning of April when short vol was around 2mil.
But I would have thought as 420 hit that the short volume would dry up a lot.

Just FYI Q4 Earnings for 2015 was released on June 29th.
I would expect our release will be closer to that date, and not in fact less than 3 weeks from now.
But yeah, I think the PPS will pop sometime in June as well.
This Q4 report will be the best one yet no doubt.
I Sold out today. Though I love CGC I would like to position myself at a lower price point before I lock in long term again. I'll be back in before the next financial release that's for sure.
Goodluck to everyone.
Contacted IR, they said that CHC converted from an illegal dispensary system to the legal system where there are now buying from us. We would like this to be the first of many that convert and are actively working towards that.
Interpret that as you want.
I think we're going to see a whole more of it + a huge increase in patient count going forward.
10900 patiens as of march 19th.
Estimated 13000 patients by spring '16. My bet is that number will be higher.

This is HUGE...
I don't know if people realize how big this is for the LP's
