I don't have level 2 but a huge sell order must have just gone through.
Wonder what prompted it?
Loaned Shares
Is there any demand for PMCB loaned shares? If so, what are the brokers currently paying?
I've checked the PMCB website and can't find any mention of them providing an update "sometime in October". Where did you find this?
Thanks,
Rufus
Are you saying that the share price will more than triple overnight just based on the start of a trial that we already know well happen? I don't think so but I sure hope you're right.
The elusive IND
Most of us agree that the IND trial will eventually start but we don't know when. Therefore the trial itself is already built into the share price
( the success of the trial is NOT built into the share price).
I believe that the start-up of the IND trial will only provide a momentary pop to the share price but the real appreciation will only come after a successful trial. There will hopefully be a payoff but it will be a long wait.
$10 per share before trials???
Keep in mind the almost one billion shares outstanding. I don't think a 7 or eight billion dollar market cap pre-trial is possible. Hope I'm wrong.
Lending PMCB shares for shorting
Have any of you PMCB shareholders been approached by your broker to lend shares? If so, what rate are they currently paying?
Thanks
Another possible scenario is that MTIA has gleaned all the knowledge they need to proceed in China without ECTE. After all, what legal recourse does Echo have against a Chinese company, considering Echo cannot afford a legal team at the present.
16% drop on trade of 200 shares this morning. WTF??
I spoke to the Financial Officer Alan Schoenbart today. There are no financing offers from MTIA or anyone else. They are "hunting" for a loan as we speak. It really doesn't sound very promising.
ECTE is barely a shell now. Would you lend them money?
No. No updates on anything. If I were a betting man, I'd bet ECTE won't be around come February. I hope I'm wrong.
Ramad,
I just wanted to thank you for all your efforts on the ECTE message board. So many of us posters just have opinions but you dig up facts somehow.I don't know how you get some of your information but keep up the good work. I've lost a ton of money already, I just hope I don't lose any more.
rufus
If it were investors selling for tax loses the volume would be much higher.
Todays volume was due to my selling.
ECTE is dead.
This message board is dead.
My $180,000 is dead.
Good bye, y'all
With Dexcom's announcement of FDA approval for their devise. I can't believe ECTE is maintaining its share price, puny though it is.
I'll take that as a "no".
DDbuyer on the Investor Village message board reports that the judge has ruled against Bessers's TRO. I assume this is factual since his posts are pretty reliable.
It appears that the only option is for MTIA to throw more money at Echo and take over in the process.
How can ECHO possibly afford a defense team? Could MTIA be paying for it? As for a settlement, I don't think that's possible. ECHO will be controlled by Besser or MTIA. One will win and one will lose.
I'm afraid your post is too cryptic for me. I'm not sure what you mean by "fly".
It's worse than that. Not only don't we have a management team that tells the truth, we don't even have a management team!!
No CEO, no president and no current Board of Directors. No wonder I can't get replies to my inquiries. There's nobody left. I am down over $100,000 with no other choice right now other than to hang on.
My faith in Michael Goldberg has greatly diminished.
Ramad,
It surprises me that you are not a share holder since you spend much effort in researching ECTE, Anyway, I appreciate your efforts and hope that you continue.
As for your statement; "if I was a shareholder I would make them accountable" thre is noone left who cares. In the past couple of months I've used phone calls, letters and e-mails to officers and board members. Since I've never received a response, its not possible to "make them accountable".
Echo filed their 10Q. That means they're still in business. All they need is money.
What did the Goldbergs do to destroy the company? I'm not doubting you but I just don't know what their motive would be. I know Michael Goldberg spent a lot of time, money and effort to take over ECTE. I also know that nothing positive has taken place for the shareholders since the displacement of the previous board and management. Even ddBuyer has stepped back a bit.
Is Michael Goldberg still associated with Platinum Partners in any way? I hope not. He has become the CEO of Navidea, another company I am deeply invested in. If he leaves Navidea in the same condition as ECTE, I am so screwed.
Gee, i haven't got a reply from the e-mail I sent to the Echo board of directors a week ago. What a surprise!!!
I believe that was the "Tremeloes" circa 1964.
I've sent e-mails to Michael and Shepard Goldberg. If I get a response I'll post the details.
How many remember the 2014 "Great Battle of the Golden Proxy" led by Dr. Michael Goldberg and Platinum Partners. Do you remember the feeling of relief and optimism when the ass-hats (DDbuyer's term) were finally thrown out and replaced by a new management team and Board of Directors who were "much more sensitive to the shareholders concerns?"
Could you foresee that 2 years later ECTE would be in even worse shape. Goldberg complained that the previous team had brought the share price down to $1.91. The new team has reached new lows at 37 cents.
At this time, we do not have a CEO and our board consists of 2 members, the brothers Goldberg. 2 years ago the company was in deep trouble. We've changed the team but accomplished nothing. Today, Dr. Goldberg is CEO of Navidia and they are having serious problems too. There's no way he can wrestle both of these companies into profit and it appears that he is putting most of his efforts into Navidea.
If anyone on this message board can provide a ray of sunshine, please do.
I can't imagine what the hell is going on. A 60 cent drop on good news? Somebody knows more than we do.
Yes, my theory is similar to yours although it may be only wishful thinking.
The recent management changes have been caused by an investor with deep pockets who sees the potential of ECTE. The amount of money needed to keep ECTE afloat is chump change to most pharmaceutical companies and the risk/reward ratio is attractive. It might also explain why ECTE and Scott Hollander in particular have ignored us because they knew they were short-timers.
If there is any merit to my theory, it will be reflected in the share price within the next couple of weeks.
Purely unsubstantiated rumor that Dr. Che Fengsheng, chinese billionaire, is going to bail ECTE out. Don't I wish!!
An outfit called Columbine Capital Services just changed their rating of ECTE from unfavorable to Neutral. The timing on this change seems strange to me.
I tried to find out why they raised their rating but you have to be a member of their web-site.
