IMO if there was no settlement at the end of the original stay, one of the lawyer parties would have filed that then and the trial would have continued and rescheduled. That hasn't happened to date. Plus all of these advisory's from TMobile about them getting ready to re-market the gsm to wifi in-home and enterprise solutions as an infringment trial is taking place! hello?
I smell a settlement here... Kineto is boasting its WiFi capabilities with 2g, 3g, and 4g type services. I am also wondering if Kineto and possibly Cisco are part of the lawsuit because Tmobile doesn't own patents on auto transfer of gsm to wifi. Cisco was part of the initial testing in Tmobiles network and Kineto's patent didn't come out until 2008..

.09 just hit...
.085... nice!!!!
With all this drama... When's the movie coming out on this?
Interesting, TMO advising they are doing 40 Million WiFi calls a month with 5 million enabled WiFi handsets...

Actually we are both right. however, The Navy used the T-33 as the T2V-1 Seastar, later re-designating it as the T-1A Sea Star. The TV-2s were adequate for familiarization training in jets but were not suitable for operational training aboard carriers. Lockheed, builder of the TV-1 and TV-2, developed a new jet trainer along the lines of the TV-2, which was capable of carrier operations. Lockheed had proposed its L-245 design for an improved version of the T-33, and built a private venture prototype. The new aircraft was first flown on December 15, 1953, and the Navy immediately placed an order. The prototype introduced a raised instructor's seat under a modified canopy. Test flights revealed the need for a dorsal fin to restore longitudinal stability. Other changes were leading edge slats, a larger tail unit, and a boundary layer control system. This resulted in reduced take off and approach speeds.

I don't believe there are any private citizens that own a T33... Maybe a small corporation with money to maintain the up keep of a jet like this, but i doubt it..
If this doesn't say settlement, I don't know what does...

Deutsche Telekom will release more details on T-Mobile USA's results for the fourth quarter when it reports its results on Feb. 25. DT has a Risk Section in the annual/quarterly report which includes lawsuit status's.. Maybe they will have something regarding Calypso in the report.

This is incredible. TMO advertizing a new phone. The motorola Cliq 2 with WIFI apps on-board. The phone is GSM capable.. I'm just curious why we haven't heard on the settlement yet (probably a done deal)and then TMO is sending out first the Cisco partnership and now this.. If we don't have a deal yet, maybe time to send out that cease and desist letter..
http://www.tmonews.com/2011/01/motorola-cliq-2-has-wi-fi-calling-app-on-board/
Its an HSPA+ femtocell....
My sentiments exactly, or maybe even white or black... If you guys are thinking Calypso might be bought up by T-mobile... I don't even think so. Cisco, maybe as a partner in-crime with them 2 announcing a partnership.. The stay extention could be because Cisco might have been brought into the fray.
With all the patents in multiple country's, with the number of cell phones out there in the world. Come on.. TMO doesnt have that kind of cash to entice the sale and take over of the company. Plus the satellite patent as well. Jeez, the upside on this is exponential. I don't think the board has any mindset to sell the company out... plus we as shareholders would have to put that to a vote... Not for me...
Here is a better report against Microsoft.. More information...

Just watching tv ..Pirates of the Caribbean...At worlds end.... Calypso is so apart of the success.. free Calypso.. humor and fun for all of us... :~) INMO the TMO deal is done.. TMO and Calypso has already made their deal.. The feds have been told and allowed the agreement has been made.. We are awaiting a joint disclosure......
And I'm right there with you... Mr. Maniacal :~) A joint posting from TMO and CLYW in the am would work for me just before Christmas... Possible big boy toy under my tree is what I am hoping.. Good luck to all!
Or should I state the obvious from your handle? :~)
I believe you are correct, also, Cisco and their equipment was part of the testing performed with the TMO Miami testing and was part of the billing system CLYW had proposed..
Plus, I can't find any patents that Meru may have to support their technology on their website.. If they even have a patent..
Yeap, very interesting, CLYW needs to put Meru on notification of infringing... Seemless call routing from GSM to WiFi and back is already under Patent '923... Either way for now, TMO is still in trouble either with Kineto or now with Meru...
I have the same in TDAmeritrade as well..
The silence is deafening... I'm hitting refresh a couple times every 15 minutes... something's going to 'splode' :~)
I totally agree... if the agreement is not obtained then Markle needs to follow with a "Cease and Desist" letter.. Stopping active daily revenue will bring them back to the bargaining table real quick
I've been long here since 2003.. disappoints along the way to say the least but this CLYW's real chance to start their revenue stream... I would like to see a business case of what the management is wanting to do to expand the company (which direction?). I cant see the management team just wanting to go after infringers. What's the new direction? We did have phone manufacturing lined up.. The new handsets have changed since CLYW brought out that brick... Partnerships? Google? Skype?
I believe you all are panicking.. What we are waiting to see is if no agreement is made that either sides attorney's are to file to advise they can not come to a resolution at this time and that they could file for an extention for the stay.. We haven't seen any filings from either side yet.. Clyw and TMO may have already finished their agreement and agreed to make a joint announcement right at the end of the stay.. Thats my opinion.. I would also like to think that Clyw management has placed on notice to the other infringers that we will be coming after them next and has multiple carriers lined up to follow suit. I would like to think these guys weren't just sitting on their hands during the stay..
Dang it.... i bought more this am at .093.. I should have waited half the day... and look at it now.. can pick some up around .085-.086... killin me here!!
Interesting display right now... the 3rd message at the top of the board was a message of the 90 day stay of the TMO-CLYW case that was published under getcarter. It now reads from conagra.. How did this change?
You guys know that once the settlement with TMobile is complete, everyone knows that CLYW will be going after the Verizon's and AT&T's of the US, not too many are taking into account that we will be going after the Vodaphones's and the Deutche Telecom's of Europe (as big as the US company's), the Central and South American mobile companies, the Asian mobile company's and then any of the satelite company's infringing on the other patent CLYW has... Dream of these potentials as well... chaaaa ching..... :~)
Deet, you do need to be careful about what happens in Europe/UK and what happens in the US. T-mobile USA is more of a company in itself and not really affileated with T-Mobile UK... T-Mobile USA doesn't utilize the same handsets as the UK. TMO USA doesn't have an IPhone agreement as of yet. TMO UK does. This Detector is not part of the TMO USA company at this time if it ever would be.. Just a heads up...
Only speculation on my part but just thinking out load... You know TMO doesn't own any patent in this UMA consortium.. But Kineto does.. I'm wondering if Kineto isn't a part of the negotiations here as well... hmmmmmm JMHO..
It does... thats why Calypso and TMO are in negotiations... Thats why I indicated earlier that CLYW should go after the UMA consortium earlier after the TMO court case... Kineto is part of that group..
wow... already 105k shares sold on a slight uptick...
Oh come on dude... you know nobody above a Director, VP, etc are not allowed to buy into a stock that is in litigation with the company. Its considered a conflict of interest, subject to fines, possible insider trading allegations... I know you know better
UMA participating companies
http://www.umatechnology.org/participants/index.htm
Well, Kineto is part of the UMA Technology consortium as is T-Mobile. In fact if you go up on Kineto's website, you will find in the investors tab an interesting piece of information. They have been funded by T-Ventures, of which their parent company is Deutsche Telecom, and parent company of T-mobile....
This is why I indicated to the group that CLYW should go after the consortium immediately after winning the licensing deal with T-Mobile...
Also announced that Kineto wireless is bringing the Android UMA phone to T-mobile.... Kineto Wireless Brings UMA To Android, Will T-Mobile Adopt? TMoNews.com | September 21, 2010. Link from Kineto website
And guess what? Blackberry is also jumping in on UMA with their additional VoIP application... BlackBerry Gets New "TringMe" VoIP App; More U.S. Carrier Support for UMA Coming...Ever? CIO | August 24, 2010. Link from Kineto website
Not part of the CLYW lawsuit..
Very interesting info... I believe when we settle with TMO that CLYW goes after the UMA technology group(s). They are the ones who set the specification for the UMA type services. There's an interesting set of partners in that. The only patent that i see coming close to ours is one from Ericsson (UMA partner)in 2003 that shows how a data link from a mobile device can hook up to the internet. Our patent hooks up voice through GSM/GPRS/CDMAetc. to internet and can handover back and forth the call without dropping it (ASNAP).. We have them by the short tails..
Yeap.... the anouncement came back in November of 2003.. see attached
