I predict this is the last purchase of this purchase plan.
September 26th - a little Sunday sepculation.
Missling's first purchase was 2x the rest. So if you count that as 2 purchases (in one) then Missling is up to 12 purchases. Monday will be the 13th, then 8 days following Monday will be September 26th.
In 2015 Missling made 13 equal purchases and then released data 8 days following his last purchase. If he follows the same pattern this time, and if we count the first purchase as 2, that leads us to September 26th.
Could the Ladenburg Thalmann 2017 Healthcare Conference really be it? I don't think so, but would be happy to be wrong.

Again, show me the PR when he was hired.
We have three CLINICAL trials that will be starting soon.
This guy was hired for PRECLINICAL!!!
Again, show me the PR when he was hired.
Please pass on the link where they PR'd him joining...Thanks.
Email was received at 7:21pm last night for Missling's Thursday purchase of 375. Total now 3,750 (which I find more interesting than 3,375).

He bought Thursday, but it was filed yesterday.
I would suggest one change: Start assuming a buyout will be with 50M outstanding shares. With all the warrants and options, we are currently sitting at around 50M shares (if not slightly over). The safest thing would be to assume all 100M authorized outstanding shares (which is the 100M number you were thinking of).
I actually don't know that that is going to happen. However, I am not getting my expectations up so that I am not disappointed if what you say you know is going to happen happens.
That being said, doesn't it make you a little curious about Monday? The abstract mentions Anavex 2-73 as a novel treatment for MS (at least until that abstract gets pulled ;))
Monday's PR will mention MS for you, that is, if they issue a PR for Monday's presentation.
1.http://www.anavex.com/anavex-life-sciences-receives-grant-from-rettsyndrome-org-to-commence-u-s-phase-2-trial-in-2017/ - got a minimum of .6 Million to run the trial. My own personal conversations with rettsyndrome.org give me the understanding that they are prepared to cover the expense of the trial.
2. http://www.anavex.com/anavex-life-sciences-issued-new-u-s-patent-composition-matter-covering-anavex-2-73/ - Says "ANAVEX™ 2-73 is to advance this year into a Phase 2/3 clinical trial for the treatment of Alzheimer’s disease..."
3. Parkinson's trial - we haven't heard anything about any money from the MJFF, and it is highly likely that we will have to fund it ourselves at this point (safe to assume that since we haven't heard anything). But, it will not be that expensive as it is only a 12-week trial. Also, http://www.anavex.com/anavex-life-sciences-issued-new-u-s-patent-composition-matter-covering-anavex-2-73/ says "ANAVEX™ 2-73 is to advance this year into a Phase 2/3 clinical trial for the treatment of Alzheimer’s disease, as well as other neurodegenerative and neurodevelopmental CNS indications, including the orphan designation Rett syndrome." Although there is no specific mention of Parkinson's, other n&n CNS indications are planned to start this year, and Parkinson's has always been part of that plan. Who knows, though.
4&5. Monday's presentation specifically mentions MS, as does another upcoming presentation. I am not worried.
slide 21 is the one you want: http://www.anavex.com/my_uploads/Anavex-June-2017-Presentation.pdf
Could Anavex be the company they are talking about in #4 under "Cure"?
"We are collaborating with a biotech company that has developed a technology to deliver proteins to the brain."
So is the fact that we are valued about $150M more than cash, especially since we haven't run a (as the "market" would say) real trial yet.
I won't be selling myself short.
If anything, IR will ask Missling to delay announcements just so they stop getting all the whiny emails that impatient retail investors keep sending them.
I guess I misunderstood. You made it sound like it was new info, and it is not!
That just means that it is still listed there on August 30th right? That trial info has not been changed since the first day it was listed.
Last update April 27, 2016.
I believe that patient's who were experiencing side effects at higher doses were allowed to come down to minimize side effects and protect the patients. I don't believe the dosages were optimized for every patient as the most recent quarterly report states "At 57 weeks, Alzheimer’s patients taking a daily oral dose between 10mg and 50mg, ANAVEX TM 2-73 was well tolerated. There were no clinically significant treatment-related adverse events and no serious adverse events. Despite non-optimized dosing of ANAVEX TM 2-73 throughout the 57-week study..."
Apparently not hashed out enough. That is all speculation with nothing to back it up
I will stick with my conservative assessment so as to not be disappointed when/if i am right. If what you say is true then i will be presently surprised.
I never said they couldn't be changed. If you look at the links I shared you will see that they haven't changed (from what had been shared publicly).
Can you please clarify what it is that you are saying is not true?
I agree that it seems like something changed, but everything publicly released by the company states that nothing was changed.
I wonder if the longer patients take the medicine, the more effect it has on restoring (dare I say it) homeostasis.
I am...hmmmmmm...
Protocol did not change at the beginning of the extension trial:
I believe part B ended at 57 weeks, therefore data from any possible protocol change (other than from IV to pill) have not been made public. Based on this assumption I am extremely intrigued as to why the P300 results were so dramatically better by 57 weeks.
See the section labeled "Arms": https://clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/show/NCT02244541?term=anavex&rank=1
So it's a guess. It wouldn't surprise me at all if Missling didn't/doesn't issue a PR stating they submitted an IND application. I doubt it would surprise anyone after the last 9 months of silence.
However, if Missling is waiting to submit the IND application so that he can take advantage of the new protocols being adopted in September, then I am OK with the delay.
How do you know the company hasn't filed an IND yet? Or is that a guess that is conveniently listed right after the facts?
We are back to this nonsense about compensation. Missling did not make $11M last year. His options are worthless right now. He made $305,000, $2.5M in tax compensation, and he was awarded $8.5M in options (that are worthless right now).
Actually, since people want to claim he made $11M, I guess I can do the opposite. In order for him to have realized $11M he would have had to exercised his options and sold his shares (since until he does, they could potentially go unexercised and therefore net him $0).
So, if he exercised them at closing on Thursday and sold them Friday morning, he would actually net a total of $0.00 (that includes his tax compensation).
So NO, MISSLING DID NOT MAKE $11M last year.
I recognize that Missling could not exercise all his options right now because not all of them have vested.
Well, since we are possibly reading too much into his body language, let's add what he says to our list of speculation too. At 9:45 he mentions off-label use.
Minor correction, Vanguard did not add 1,617,757. They added 132,076 shares to bring their total to 1,617,757.
Although you keep saying "no significant change" I am loving that it keeps on dropping.

scroll down and you will find where rettsyndrome.org mentions it specifically.
but is mentioned here: https://www.facebook.com/RettSyndrome/
You are kind, but that isn't necessary. It was on Facebook...I just happen to like the Rettsyndrome.org page and it popped up on my news feed. I am just super excited that there is finally something saying that it is happening now.
Man, I wanted to be the one to break the news... :)
