Here is an interesting article, might recognise a name Sphere is working with:
http://searchvmware.techtarget.com/feature/VMware-gaining-ground-as-VDI-market-grows
oh boy, when I say we, I mean we long posters, and you, the short posters. Not me as in company or insider or anything like that. Boy, you guys have your own rumor mill, but make fun of ours...LOL
Very funny
And you might have already succeeded in getting either everybody out who initially invested just because of GW and helped to get the valuation that low that people and the co really started to put their immediate core focus on whats already now a marketable out of the box enterprise product: V3
Hope it helps
- And shorts' calling up partners, companies, clients and authors, even individual shareholders, seems already well documented...even you claim to have done so yourself at times...so to deny that is pretty difficult
Lets try a summary:
See the earn out UDD thought it would get...and the lawsuit, and its history, its summary is actually in the fiancials...btw. Same as the history of the case most is public. Oh and the VDI earn out provision by now: zero. Tells you something..
And for V3, funny how even from IT authors, before you call what IT guys write fluff, but then when it suits, it is not! Didnt V3 even win best of show etc too? If we want to trade outdated quotes? And that was even before the DCO upgrade and other features and upgrades that went in it since then...etc etc...dont worry the pivot is not on the old V3 line of appliances... since you are so conveniently referring to them...
See sometimes it is about taking a variety of great things, like Fusion-io, SSD, VMware, add your very own and voila! Make something very unique and affordable! Might want to give that a try sometime! Oh, and V3 has a multitude of patents even, last one was granted Dec 2015, dont have to tell you that...
On Entisys, see we all know what size in the sector that is relevant to us (VDI): You on the other hand, take a giant market of all resellers intentionally to make Entisys seem small (classic trick), what you cant dispute however is their reputation. I would trust their CTO calling them unique etc etc, more than ihub posters anytime, its a simple comparison of profiles...
Its ok, didnt expect anything else...on GW no point to re-hash until they come out with updates etc, even if just to show that certain apps can really be delivered to any device very efficiently and at low cost, and part again of the solution is based on RDSH, much more efficiently though, we also agree on that on that they will not just to prove you wrong violate EULA with virtualizing Apple apps without Apple or developers consent etc, on that we agree too...
You had an easy time refuting the at times outrageous hype on GW (admittedly and yes sadly so) which is why we are where we are. Hype days are gone, now its getting out of a short position of a co that has products, certified resellers growing and that will, IMHO as our friend likes to say, show traction with its new lines in its space...
And no, neither will we post here the links to that so you can call companies, authors etc up, nor will you obviously. Guaranteed. If it means no new retail shareholders (for now at least) who buy based on ihub...so be it...
Its ok, some ahort posters are just doing a job... I am off to have some fun!
See you keep focussing on GW only, while the "story" as you call it is, for now, that is much more focussed on V3 and leveraging a growing certified reseller network to offer affordable V3 appliances with the failover and scalability advantages of DCO. And yes the V3 line lay greatly neglected while they tried to catch up and develop GW which was the focus of the hype stage of former times. GW not over yet, but thats a side not until properly productised. V3 uses latest in VMware Horizon and VMware Hybrid - oh and even apps virtualised with the vapoware GW can be accessed from there now.
And sorry, we are all aware that it is much more than VMware in a box. VMware IS in the box though of course, so its clever wording (an approach you crtisised with PB)...to make it seem like that is all it is. Double standards much??
And of course now you will even argue with the competency of senior managers of Nvidia etc. they will just join the growing number of "fluffy, silly" executives and companies like those of MS, Entisys, VMware, Opus, Novarad etc.
They will not come to ihub, they have real world careers and jobs, which is why ihub is such a nice fluffy stage, for some.
What a very sad stage to live on.
Its trading days not calendar days, and even then it hasnt been 30 days..
The first time it closed under a buck was June 17th...
Sphere is not alone anymore the little "pump and dump" is signing more and more certified resellers..have you already heard?
No? Oh.....dont be sad
Turn to ihub stage instead, always a good career alternative, just dont tell the niece. Pssssst... LOL
See, we dont actually think, uh oh they will be cash flow postive by Q4 "or toast" but that they shows traction/ revenue Q3 and Q4 (making it then four consecutive quarters) that they can then raise capital at higher prices to then capitalise on the traction and growth etc.
Would be foolish to assume that we think oh, ah, virtualization co (with multiple product lines, yes, hold your breath, as it will be by much clearer then), that shows continous gaining productisation, traction and growth (yes, finally) cant get a corresponding valuation and raise capital...if needed of course...oh, and not from Ladenberg or the shorts again
IMHO
LOL, we all saw what your "guarantee" is worth...
Why so afraid??
Thanks for that chuckle
Oh boy!
LOL, so much for your "guarantee" then... Hahahaha
Hahahaha, ok lets play that game! LOL
So, since you are happy to "guarantee" how about if you are wrong about the declining revenue of Sphere 3D this quarter as you are so happy to already announce, than the least after your "guarantee" is to guarantee not to post again? As Siri or aliases like zig, zag??
Stand by your "guarantee"? Come on...thats the least you can do with that "guarantee"...
Kindly awaiting your answer...
Again wrong, last Q saw a 30% cut in EBITDA loss... ups
It doesnt seem u r right on that one...
Really, does it??
So "no position", "public service" and now "gamesmanship". What an honest approach.
And again you go back to Glassware server, which nobody, literally nobody says.
As you say yourself one can access Glassware applications from the new V3 appliances. FACT
The rest is your opinion.
Can you dig up anything older? LOL
You can see the Glassware apps there yourself and say yourself...and just pretending they showed launch or put Glassware server on it, which of course not, doesnt help your cause. Doesnt say it nor did they ever claim so, there or anywhere. That kind of willful misleading strategy worked, but it doesnt anymore.
Simply launch Glassware apps from the V3 device. Oh, and access Snap too, while u r at it.
Might want to look again Derek. GW can be launched from the Horizon interface as you well know...
Your pic doesnt work, why did you take it down I wonder??
Ups, u spoke too early and wrong??
Delete, delete the link quickly!
LOL
Again wrong Derek, revenue turned from declining to increasing last quarter, and EBITDA loss decreased by a nice 30%...
And yes RDX was already in Q4...Hugo might be able to help you out a bit how to read financials...
Its a shorts' board, so what for?:
We have seen how shorts hillariously spin each and everything:
- Banks with tech divisions are "really silly" to finance Sphere 3D
- Techtarget and Wikibon, even their CTO, publish "paid fluff"
- VMware was also essentially "paid off with $7'500" to name Sphere 3D as a partner alongside a handful of major players in IT
- Microsoft executives, multiples ones, give "just lipservice" publicly at investor events and bell ringing, naming strategic partner too
- Entisys, a very, very well regarded IT firm (oh a comparison to Orchard Parc would be very funny) is just writing "buddy favours" by their CTO also "lying about V3 products", oh and getting certified to sell them too while they are at it
- Oh, Novarad executives, from President to VPs quotes, blogs about their development and offerings with S3D and exhibiting with them in their booth at the largest exhibition in healthcare, ups "lying"
List goes on and on...and will only get bigger, so glad though we have "IT" guys on i-hub to explain to though! LOL
Bill Gates must be on an ihub board too, next logical career step
Funny, in that analogy, Sphere 3D is priced as a toy truck right now.
Sphere emerging as a lawn mower, to a pick up truck to then truck is plenty of fine for us...
PLENTY of space in life and in analogy to Sphere between the toy truck and the huge eighteen wheeler. I am sure even nieces would know that Ask
Hahaha Derek, and they do that why? Because there is a huge market!
Thanks though for always comparing little Sphere to the biggest IT companies out there btw, oh, applying similar strategies!
LOL, now who is hyping? Thanks though for proving the point!
Or differently put, Sphere after the upload, does not have to order, deliver etc. literally a customer signs up, and they get paid for that. Called recurring revenue. Booh soo bad!
Funny, Even you and Derek say many including the largest IT companies in the world, provide their own solutions in the cloud too! They in your theory hurting themselves too then...all really stupid...really? I have it on good authority that enterprise customers want the option of hybrid clouds, that means on site storage AND public storage!
I know even when Sphere follows strategies most of the market does, then thats stupid, just because its Sphere, no matter if it makes sense or how many other IT companies apply the same strategy, it has to be declared so! Well, on an ihub board at least.
Funny argument again by Derek, its Sphere 3D's enterprise grade software solution...and again, yes offered on Azure hardware and platform, and that not as a self-less act, but getting paid by Microsoft as it gets sold.
Ask yourself also, otherwise why do all these IT companies offer their software solutions on Azure? All selfless acts to help sell Azure? By hundreds of companies offering solutions on Azure? Really??
Just tells you how much unbiased honesty is in some posts. and to then use the word "misleading", oh the irony!
Oh, most are very well aware that they came in way too early, and in that sense were taken for a ride as the technology was far not where the newsletter or retail believed it to be.
That said, many also interpreted far too much, if a name was mentioned some quickly jumped to silly words like "embedded". Same as "ubitiquous" etc.
Now, its a very low valued company that has a combination of undeniable products like V3 and the storage lines like RDX and Snap etc, and there is the "complete unproven dud GW" an interpretation reflected in this share price.
Guys at $10 were in the hype, am sure you realised that the hopes and dreams are much more realistic now, even sceptical and grounded now.
Taking the most extreme examples still of "oh, am sure there is still a guy out there who was on an island and didnt notice that the hype turned to deep sceptism in the market." Good luck with that...
Go ahead and gloat again...its ok...
Check his Linkedin account hmmm...I know going beyond ihub and Twitter is tough...that said not easy for us to see what he has been doing the past year...
Its just BS, as just as an example Kelly and Kurt are deemed insiders and how many shares did they sell? $8'000 worth of stock each? For some tax related settlement? Buhuhu
Even Derek had admitted those were not sums worth mentioning when they were filed. Now he turns it into "selling" what was in regards to Kelly significantly less than 1% of his stock??
Its always the manipulative approach of neglecting to state key facts they dont like to mention, dont look at the details just the big headline...which is ironically exactly what he critizes...
Everybody can judge this approach on their own
This perfectly illustrates how shorts operate:
Bash and cover, the officially declared short interest position in ANY almost halved, yes halved, between end of November last year and now, while posting all kinds of doom and gloom scenarios (and no that excludes the covering by Anson that was short on the Canadian side (otherwise we would have seen a sudden decrease) this is the gradual one on the US side:
http://www.nasdaq.com/symbol/any/short-interest
Have a look, but IMHO dont expect shorts to admit it, any evidence that doesnt suit them is "fluff" LOL
Why continously cover well over a million shares (again even excluding Anson) if all so doom and gloomish??
Hmmmmmm.....
Nice, you too!
Happy independence day weekend everybody!
Correction to make that statement complete: ...or until gets bought out
One of the two...
To make that statement factually complete.
Thank you for proving my point. Doesnt matter in the shorts' view one way or another as nothing that could possibly be interpreted positively ever does matter. Thanks!
That displays a formidable understanding of how the corporate world works...LOL
Only in the shorts' world: He then just told the CTO of Entisys 360, look guys could you fellas endorse and certify Entisys 360 for the products of this "pump and dump" I went to work for and then they said hey, yo, dude, no probs let us also appear in a PR of theirs and let us say awesome stuff about their "silly" boxes and call them unique and pretend to be selling them too! Oh yeah great pals, you are the bombs!...LOL
Its nice you worry about Sphere 3D being there, sweet...while when they are there you will claim it has no significance? Or would it?
Have to decide which one is it?...
No AND using something often getting drowned out here by shorts: logic
Holding the AGM in June they could referred to promises, but they are confident enough to rather do it in August or September.
Why? Well, you will find out
Which gives 180 days to get back above $1 and way beyond as you yourself wrote. Thanks.
They could have easily held it in June, but rather than then making promises in June, chose a time by which Q2 results will be out AND they can PROVE more traction to us by then
Only in the short world is choosing to prove by the time of the AGM rather than to promise, a bad sign.
Its also a given that the certification program increases Sphere 3D's capabilities way beyond internal resources:
Entisys was/is one of the first and its weired how they are are able to sign up a VAR of undeniable reputation endorsing their products that much. I guess VMware, Novarad, Microsoft and Entisys all in there as part of the "pump and dump".
I always thought they are "IT companies" , but I guess thats just a store front: In reality "they run stock promotion services". Sort of like the money laundring firms, operating car washs as storefronts....Glad we have Derek to give us the unbiased undercover tell tale on that! LOL
The CTO of Entisys 360, a VERY reputable and fast growing IT company, unlike Orchard Parc, seems to disagree with Derek of ihub's "just VMware in a box" claim:
Matt General, CTO of Entisys360 "We are excited to be one of the first Sphere 3D ElitePro Partners. V3 is a unique and proprietary technology. Its compute interacts well with storage solutions, and this product adds value for our clients who crave more control within their Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) environment. With our ElitePro status, we have new, exciting functionality and price options to offer to our sophisticated client base.”
http://sphere3d.com/empowering-our-channel-partners-to-succeed-introducing-the-elite-and-elitepro-certification-program/
GW as a technology was actually product ready for market, point is only via deployment by professional services and that with very, very limited resources at the time, granted and we know that.
We had even seen live deployments, yes very small ones that could be recorded for life events within an hour, but undeniably deployments, even life recorded. Also these can be found on the website. Worth a look.
This post is in reply to a post a good "contact" of mine posted a while ago.
Yeah, the shorts finally got the panic they always wanted in the past days. Congrats.
Just hope the buyer knows much more than we all do, somebody has been picking up more than 1.5 mil. shares in the past few days...
