Many very interesting views and insights regarding amorphous metals technologies and where the industry is headed, none greater than those of Josh.
Sigh..., zzzzzzzzzz
Very interesting..., thanks, Jay.
Thank you so much.
I am extremely excited about what is happening to bring the common use of BMG to our daily lives!
Thank you, Professor Li for your insight, work and persistence in bringing the reality of practical BMG application and industrialization closer.
WOW!!!
I gifted LQMT stock to my children, I have LQMT in two of my retirement accounts, and then I have some in my standard brokerage account. I have to say that almost all of that is intended for the very long term.
This is seed money. One does not snip off the plant when it first sprouts if he is planning to eat the fruit in times ahead!
If someone is creative, grafting and pruning can do wonderful things, but let the plant grow!
I appreciate that perspective and your level head through choppy water.
Hmmm... sorry.
Enjoy your family. That is real life.
Sorry, honors. Watts has reported that Gorgol has passed away in Florida.
From the history, I have no reason to doubt this news. Gorgol has profoundly touched a lot of our lives over the years.
Your balanced and reasonable view and communications regarding LQMT and those on this board are very much appreciated, DMN.
Look at the early history of modern plastics and the adoption of the technology in finally becoming mainstream.
... also you might listen to Watts’ adventure in this
Thanks for letting us know about Gorgol, Watts.
It does put things in perspective.
Yes!, that strategy does work well.
Not everyone on this board agrees with taking advantage of opportunities when they present themselves.
That is hard for me to understand.
Looks like opportunity to me.
We have very different lenses that we look through.
Ouch!
Wow! Very nice after 4th quarter earnings
Well said, Gorgol
I like 14 cents to add.
Of that kind of behavior?
I’ve already given my opinion.
Amazing...
Waveguides are the immediate future of AR and VR. Super low profile devices (ie: regular looking corrective lenses) are where we are going, and where mass adoption of HMDs for everyday use will occur.
Intellectual property owned by Vuzix is well worth buying into. We will be presented very attractive, very tempting offers, however, the value of our waveguides must not be underestimated!
Do we go with a “simple” buyout from big boys with deep pockets? Do we license users of our technology? Do we fabricate and sell the optics to third parties?
I know that big things are afoot. Time for well thought out decisions for our next steps.
Apple will be making the the best possible experiences in Augmented Reality and head mounted displays.
Our IP will be instrumental for... them?, Facebook?, Google?, Samsung?, Intel?, Sony?, HP?, IBM?, ........
It’s getting hot. I just hope that it does not get too hot for cool heads.
The development of metals technologies have played a role in the rise and fall of civilizations. Amorphous alloy development and utilization will be no different in its urgency.
Li is a patriot bringing general use of BMG to reality. Remarkable to me that the USA seems to be missing the importance of this, including private industry. We seem to be dropping the ball on many sides.
In closing off the world we do not make friends.
It seems glaringly obvious that the US does not comprehend how important this is.
Li will be very much rewarded for his contribution to future generations.
I have great respect for Li.
Very interesting, Cima.
Hmmmm..., indeed.
Seriously, Cima?
To provide familiar methods of parts manufacturing in combination with pushing the envelope into the the more unproven process of amorphous metal fabrication, gives us the ability to develop strong working relationships with customers.
To establish a smooth and reliable process of supplying a wide range of solutions to our customers (while producing REVENUE) is important in becoming a trusted partner in bringing customers what they need. Amorphous metals parts manufacturing will be huge,
.....but it is going to happen over time.
Being a trusted partner in providing the solutions our customers need opens the door to expanding the utilization of amorphous alloy parts as it is appropriate.
I take it from your post that you informed your wife of your investment in LQMT after all? I’m glad to hear it!
What are the current thoughts regarding the Hubble Phone scheduled for release in 2020 from Turing?
All the best to you, Gorgol.
Thanks for the endearing character that has kept the interest of so many here.
Sometimes I check in just to see how you are doing. You have something that many of us need.
You have done well. Thanks for the time! Keep us posted.
Sorry. I’m still as excited As ever long term.
Good call
Beautifully articulated perspective. Thank you.
Thank you, Josh.
...Stunning.
Right on!
Wow.
I do like the word “immanent”.
Thanks, yes, very interesting.
I’m interested.
I’m also interested in What says Watts.
Your sober thoughts regarding our little company are profound, Watts
...not so sure about these last ones.
Thanks, I enjoyed your post!
There are some who will not recognize the misinformation from trolls.
There are some who will bail out of a stock because of a drop in the price per share.
Vuzix is doing an excellent job of pushing the envelope of a fledgling industry.
This kind of fundamental change in the way we live our lives will take time, not only in technological capability, but in the acceptance socially of a new way of interacting with the world, information, and each other.
Beginning in the work place in many capacities, and then increasingly supplementing and then ultimately becoming the natural evolution of our smart phones AR, without question, will be a giant shift in the progression of human development.
Vuzix is part of this! Paul Travers saw this coming a very long time ago. I am very proud of him, his work and diligence in bringing his vision forward.
This is a long road. A lot is yet to be. There is a long way to go. But we’re going! Tomorrow I will own some more of this company.
