Apologies if this LA Weekly article dated March 8, 2024 was posted earlier. DCVax-L isn’t explicitly stated but is clearly referred to: “Mr Vandermast added, “Oncovir is uniquely positioned in the cancer and infectious disease market, we can add significant clinical value to new and approved vaccines, including dendritic cell vaccines.””https://www.laweekly.com/oncovir-inc-is-pushing-the-boundaries-of-medical-innovation-with-hiltonol/
Nice one.
Yes, apparently the photo with the glass vial labeled DCVax-L has been removed.
Click/tap on the name, and then click/tap “Ignore This Member”.
See you in court.
Maybe, maybe not. If I were a guilty party in this case knowing the shameful extent of my crimes, I wouldn’t want there to be the slightest chance of any of it being uncovered during discovery.
Correction: I worked at Saudi Aramco for ten years, not two years, from 2011 to 2021. I realize you were asking me how many shares I owned, but I'd rather not say. However, I will say that I have been searching for this exact type of opportunity all my life, and like many extremely wealthy people, they had to take huge risks in order to get there.
I answered your question, but the post was taken down.
Funny. We lived in Ras Tanura on The Gulf right next to a huge refinery. MBS is continuing to make major changes in the kingdom, and as you probably know, it's now possible for westerners to get tourist visas. I agree that it was a great experience. I'd like to return someday and check out the Red Sea side. Cheers.
I worked for Saudi Aramco from 2021 to 2022, and I bought shares of NWBO with much of my savings and retirement accounts. I have taken a huge risk, but I really believe that this will be approved in the UK, Canada, EU, and Germany. If things don't work out, I still have enough cash to survive, but I'll have to continue working to supplement my Social Security income.
Hey Doc, I’ve never traded this stock either. I really do think NWBO its investors will continue to be blessed, and my wife and I will probably buy a big house someday, but more than that, we also look forward to gifting our relatives, friends, and favorite charities. My sister and her husband, a Christian pastor in Ohio, are at the top of our list. She had a weird dream about a week ago. She said we were back in Columbus walking 25 miles eastbound (you know, towards Bethesda) looking for my home and stopped at a restaurant and were served sausages. I told her that I looked up the biblical interpretation of sausages and discovered they symbolize wealth and prosperity, and that if the 25 miles are 25 weeks, then 175 days from December 20 is June 12. She said, wow, okay Joseph, and we laughed. Still, I made a note of June 12. Was this dream caused by something she ate that night, or could it be a mysterious harbinger of things to come? ;) Best wishes.
Same here. The only shares in that Fidelity account are NWBO. My personal portfolio consists of cash and NWBO, the two extremes on the risk continuum. I look forward to diversifying a bit more down the road.
Interesting strategy. Good luck.
Because of the forces that have tried to drive NWBO out of business over the years, my main concern was with someone sabotaging the delivery of the MAA, or with somebody corrupting the files themselves prior to MHRA’s acceptance. I think I may have read one too many novels involving corporate espionage. I was so relieved and thankful when the documents were successfully delivered and accepted. No matter which side of the validation issue one’s on, we all are waiting for MHRA’s decision to approve DCVax-L, which will certainly happen sometime this year. Thanks you and all the other true longs whose DD has enabled me to keep my sanity since 2012.
Their “Fully Paid Lending Program” is offering a 7.5% annualized lending interest rate. The email stated, “You must have at least $25,000 in each Fidelity brokerage account you wish to enroll.” More details are probably available after one enrolls.
Today I declined Fidelity's offer of borrowing my shares.
Yes, and staying constantly focused on hope, courage, and gratitude leaves little room for fear, uncertainty, and doubt.
Thanks for the correction. Looking forward to when the Nature article drops.
Impressive metrics for the Nature article that was just posted today: “This article is in the 91st percentile (ranked 13,311th) of the 164,185 tracked articles of a similar age in all journals and the 93rd percentile (ranked 3rd) of the 31 tracked articles of a similar age in Cell Death Discovery”.
Many thanks hoff.
Earlier it was stated that stock certificates are illiquid. Do you know what the process is to cash them in? Happy Holidays Everyone.
Cathy Wood at Ark Invest is another individual that you think would very interested in NWBO after the UK approves. I sent them an email awhile back, and I plan on following up next year.
Looks like he simply sold shares for the sole purpose of paying taxes.
I see this has already been posted. I need to catch up. SEC fined Citadel $7 million for illegal short selling. While our case involves illegal spoofing, it does indicate that they have not played by the rules in more than instance. I hope it can be used against them in our case.
This should help our cause: The SEC Now Charges Citadel For Illegal Short Selling Violations, SEPTEMBER 22, 2023. https://franknez.com/the-sec-now-charges-citadel-for-illegal-short-selling-violations/
I’m sure everything Schwab is fine, but for anyone interested, I opened accounts with Fidelity last week and then funded them through a simple “Transfer of Funds” (TOS) from TDAmeritrade as my accounts still hadn’t been moved to Schwab. The investment account transfer went smothly, but there was a delay in transferring my IRA Rollover to a Traditional IRA. I had two small positions in penny stocks that were less than 25 cents per share, and Fidelity won't accept any stocks below this threshold. So I had to sell them before Fidelity would approve the IRA transfer. Also, Fidelity has an Active Pro Trader platform that has all the TA bells and whistles. GL.
I agree. KG may be a fool, but he isn’t stupid. Assuming LP is willing to settle, I think he will pay whatever it takes to minimize the chances of finding himself behind bars after paying even more than the settlement in fines.
Are you drunk? Those are ridiculous statements. You don't know what you're talking about.
The wonder if their algo models suggest that it's more profitable for them to wait until the last minute to let it run and to continue the shorting cycles until NWBO moves off of the OTC exchange or until some other point. BP influence may somehow be a factor, too. Certainly, NWBO revenues post-approvals will break us free from having our stock manipulated like it is now, or maybe sooner after partnership(s) with BP are announced, or after some other event. I'm not selling 80% of my position until we break free at $25+ ps. Of course, all this is guesswork on my part.
Typically, when a brokerage firm fails, the Securities Investor Protection Corporation (SIPC) arranges the transfer of the failed brokerage's accounts to a different securities brokerage firm. https://www.uscourts.gov/services-forms/bankruptcy/bankruptcy-basics/securities-investor-protection-act-sipa#:~:text=Typically%2C%20when%20a%20brokerage%20firm,a%20different%20securities%20brokerage%20firm.
I could be mistaken, but I also recall flipper making the same point quite awhile ago about the CHM meeting not being relevant in the midst of a rolling review. Just giving credit where credits due. And thanks to you hoff for all your contributions.
Spoofing is one thing, but illegal shorting is another. The latter shifts the supply curve to the right and lowers the equilibrium share price starting point. I believe Posner and CM would still argue that there will have been a latent adverse effect on market capitalization even after a huge influx of equity funds, at least in the short-term.
Maybe trades from yesterday that hadn't been settled?
Hey aek, have you seen the TV series Goliath with Billy Bob Thornton? If not, it's worth a look if you are into that sort of thing. He's plays an unorthodox yet skilled attorney who's extremely effective when it comes to negotiating settlements. Laura Posner and Cohen Milstein will have a lot of leverage when it's their time to talk about settling. Of course, it'll be LP's decision on whether or not to accept any offers. Honestly, I have no idea what that number is, but my gut tells me that there will be a settlement. CM got a $1 billion on the Wells Fargo case, but their net worth is a lot more than Citadel's. That being said, considering all the evidence, what's a stake, and the fact that there are several other defendants, $1 billion sounds like a good starting point to me.
Harvard leads the pack with $50 billion+ in endowments. I agree with you that KG’s donation is more about politics than finances. Politics can be tricky however, and these types of institutions have been known to eat their young when money is involved. I think he and the others will settle for substantial amounts with the SEC and DOJ taking no further action.
Backatchya
Sky, pithy is good, but so is consistently providing a mountain of evidence supporting DCVax-L’s highly likely eventual approval. Much appreciated.
A little media attention never hurts.
8-14-2023, Top Penny Stocks Worth Keeping an Eye On: PRSNF/ PRSN.V, NWBO, AABB, CYDY
Northwest Biotherapeutics (OTC: NWBO) is a biotech company that is involved in the development of customized immunotherapy products. The products are meant to treat cancer with better effectiveness than existing treatments in North America and Europe. The products do not contain the sort of toxicities that are associated with treatments like chemotherapy.
Currently, the company is involved in the development of DCVax-customized immune therapies meant for treating solid cancer tumors. On March 20, the company made a joint announcement with the United Kingdom-based contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) leader Advent BioServices Inc.
The announcement referred to the fact that it had been issued an MIA license by the Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA). Thanks to the license, the company would be able to commercially manufacture cell therapy-related products at its GMP facility located in Sawston, the United Kingdom.
