When The "Bull Case" Fails, Blame "Shorts". LOL
An Opinion That Correct Until VELA Files
Even then, he has used the SEC as cover so he can stay in his bunker.
George Alvarez Has Used It As A Crutch.
Perhaps it will be different for some.
Don't Hold Your Breath. Especially With VELA.
Don't Forget Their Service In Egypt, Per "PennyPlanet"
If Not, "Dawgface69" Will Take Down Alvarez. LOL.
A Little Research? I Have Been Here.
Thus, my comment.
"Dawgface69", The Alvarez Communicator, Has No Subscriber Guess?
Yet another in this forum to make outrageous claims and then disappear.
So "Dawgface69", How Many Subscribers Does VelaTel Have?
Since you claim to own at least 10% of the company and claim to have spoken with George Alvarez within the past year, surely you can provide a best guess.
Thank you in advance.
Of Course Not. You Are Sounding Desperate.
Why would I waste money on such a ridiculous thing? Our only choice is to wait to see if George Alvarez gets current with filings. If he does that and somehow there are well over 500k subscribers, the stock will rise dramatically. Given VelaTel's history of zero execution, I recommend not being too hopeful of this.
But Why Would The SEC Care About VELA?
There are too many subpenny stocks out there for the SEC to monitor. I would assume the closest they ever got to VELA was taking on Ironridge.
Curious. Reported To Who? What Is The Crime?
I Trust "Reporting" More Than I Do VelaTel
Even if it is a blog. George Alvarez has made a lot of outlandish claims over the years, so why would anyone believe his supposed subscriber numbers without anything to back them up?
Alvarez Has No Aces. He Needs 750k+ Subscribers
He lost 40k of an existing 100k after he took over and then couldn't pay the bill.
VelaTel needs to execute for the first time in its history, showing hundreds of thousands of subscribers from whatever their "dark pool" is. I will wait with everyone else, but getting hopes too high is foolish given George Alvarez's failed history.
Someone Named "Dawgface69" Won't Be Taking Down Alvarez
The only thing we know about CMM is that they lost 40% of their HK voice subscribers after George Alvarez and friends took over. So now we are supposed to believe that he has grown the company to hundreds of thousands of unreported mystery subscribers? It seems that PennyMonster believes they exist but he is about the only one here to have that faith.
VelaTel Was Not A Direct Beneficiary Of This
Which is what I believe his point is.
If VELA Has No Subscribers, This Is Moot.
Hopefully that is not the case.
Hopefully They Gave Up More Than The Website
No Answer. So You Are Investing On Hope.
That rarely bodes well.
Just Guessing, How Many Subscribers Does VELA Have?
Your best guess, please.
The GSMA touts half a million but do you really believe that is close to being factual? It could even be a fraction of that.
PrivateInvstr, who has since disappeared, suggested much higher numbers because money was being put into the company for upgrades. Where did that money go and why do we know voice numbers but data statistics are mysteriously hidden?
Even as you referenced voice customers, the decline does not bode well for other subscriber numbers in my view.
If News Was Good, Ironridge Would Buy Back Shares
It is not happening.
Or They Believe The "Merger" Is Phony
And CMMobile has no subscribers.
Yesterday's Action Suggest Someone Knows Them.
There Was Hope Of Favorable News. And Now?
Perhaps The Insider Pump & Dump Wasn't Far-fetched After All.
The ship appears to have finally sunk.
I Now Wonder What They "Merged", If Anything.
You've Been Accurate So Far. We Will See.
I do hope you are correct.
CMMobile Has Shut Down. Looks Like It's Over.
"The MVNO launched back in April 2002, and has been owned by VelaTel Global Communications since November 2012. The MVNO’s user base stood at around 100,000 at the time of the takeover, dwindling to just 60,000 users at the time of its shutdown."

CMMobile Out Of Business? http://www.thestandard.com.hk/section-news.php?id=178669
Also of note, they only had 60k users which is a far cry from numbers touted here.
Agreed. Is There Value Or Is It Worthless?
There are no excuses now.
You Were Correct. Congratulations.
What I find most intriguing is that since this appears to be a settlement, the Ironridge part of this mess could finally be over (instead of there being appeals and being tied up in the courts for who knows how long).
Perhaps sooner than later, VelaTel will finally file and we will get to see if the company is actually worth something. I am also very curious about the terms of the settlement, but I will not get over-optimistic.
If Correct, That Would Actually Be Quite Intriguing.
Scheduling Witnesses Does Not Seem That Interesting.
Perhaps I am missing something.
The Question Now Is Who/What Do They Want?
And why...
I Would Bet VFIN Did Not Stop ERFB
Just Like We Heard .088 From "TopStockGirl"
Who has since conveniently disappeared.
We May Know A Lot More Next Month
If there is a very positive ruling (against Ironridge) and VelaTel does not rally on that, then there is more at play than we all know and the stock is truly dead.
Whatever Type of "Merger" This Is... Unprofessional Altogether.
To go into a real "merger", you would think that an organization would have a plan in place to limit the downtime of its customers.
Having a letter to customers plastered on the top of the website also reflects poorly.
If VELA was trying to stay "dark", I doubt they would let any meaningful news of a real merger slip. Then again, with all of management's past errors, one can not rule it out.
They Are Claiming A "Merger" On CMMobile's Homepage.
http://www.cmmobile.com.hk/en/
In the world of VelaTel, it is hard to guess what this remotely entails.
