I just got off the phone with Larry Hooper. I called mainly to get the patent number which are below but we talked about quite a few other things. One thing I would suggest is if you have any questions you want answered you should probably just call them, I'm not completely sure but that email address on the website might not be working or going to anyone who will actually respond.
Patent #1
United States Patent 5,891,012
Downey, et al. April 6, 1999
Coronary artery counter-pulsation device and method
Abstract – A device and method are shown for improving coronary blood circulation and cardiac contractile function, synchronizing coronary perfusion pressure with the patient's cardiac cycle, by alternately pressurizing and depressurizing an inflatable balloon located within the interior of the device. The device comprises a catheter having a distal end which is installed at the ostium of the coronary artery of a patient. The device is alternately pressurized during the relaxation phase of a patient's cardiac cycle and then depressurized during the contraction phase of the cardiac cycle to thereby modulate the coronary perfusion pressure and blood flow.
Patent #2
United States Patent 6,149,578
Downey, et al. November 21, 2000
Piston-action intra-aortic coronary assist device
Abstract – An intra-aortic balloon assist device is used to increase blood flow to the coronary arteries of an injured heart. The device comprises an expandable member that is placed within the ascending aorta of the patient, coupled to a flexible tube made of standard catheter material. The flexible tube is coupled to a blood flow control means within the descending portion of the patient's aorta. When operating, the blood flow control means pumps a surge of oxygenated blood through the flexible tube and expandable member into the area around the ascending portion of the aorta. The expandable member is operated in successive stages. The first stage is a collapsed stage, which is a completely depressurized stage of the member. In the second, blocking stage, the member blocks off the aorta to create a closed volume around the ascending portion of the aorta. In the third, blocking-pumping stage, the member expands in the direction of the coronary arteries simultaneous to the surge of blood supplied by the blood flow control means to force oxygenated blood within the closed volume--blood supplied by the blood flow control means and blood already within the closed volume--towards the coronary ostiums.

United States Patent 6,190,304
Downey, et al. February 20, 2001
Enhanced intra-aortic balloon assist device
Abstract – The present invention is an intra-aortic circulatory enhancing apparatus for use in human patients to improve blood flow to other arteries continuous with the aorta of the patient. The apparatus comprises an internal inflation means located within the aorta of the patient and an external inflation means located outside of the patient. The internal inflation means can be an internal balloon coupled to a hollow extent which is operatively coupled to a blood communication means. The blood communication means can be a first hollow catheter tube in one embodiment. The external inflation means can be an external balloon coupled to a hollow extent running through the center of the balloon and continuous with a second hollow catheter tube. The blood communication means is coupled to the internal and external inflation means, allowing blood within the aorta to communicate with the secondary inflation means.
Patent #4
United States Patent 6,228,018
Downey, et al. May 8, 2001
Removable left ventricular assist device with an aortic support apparatus
Abstract - An apparatus and method of temporarily replacing the function of the left ventricle in a patient whose heart is severely injured and is unable to maintain a systemic arterial pressure adequate to support the inside walls of patient's aorta, the method comprising a removable pressurizable support means having an external profile which is expandable to fit firmly against the inside wall of the aorta of a patient, wherein the external profile of the pressurizable support means presents a central opening that allows blood to flow through the aorta. The pressurizable support means can both support and expand the aorta under low blood pressure to assist the drawing of blood from the left ventricle. The central opening also allows for the placement of a blood flow control means. The blood flow control means can comprise a pumping balloon and a proximal blocking balloon, the two members pressurized and depressurized in opposition within the aorta of a patient to simulate systole and diastole of a healthy heart. The pumping balloon has a pressurized pumping position that is engaged while the proximal blocking balloon is in a depressurized deflated position.
I emailed to get the patent numbers on Friday no response so far but it was a holiday. Will put in a call Monday afternoon if I still haven't heard back. I plan on reading the patents and I'll give my opinion. I do cardiac electrophysiology so I will only be mildly talking out of my ass. Some of what they have sounds interesting but very little detailed information on their website.
But that RS was probably illegal since it was done by Wong/Sparrow, so I think the true legal OS on LSMJ is 12 million
It doesn't look like any one posted this yet from what I could see
News from 2:16 pm yesterday did no one notice, appears to only be on pinksheets.com
http://www.pinksheets.com/quote/news.jsp?symbol=CVSS&headline=CVSS+news+%28Press+Release%29&...
Yeah because no one has ever patented something useless
I hadn't really given that much thought but it is an interesting point. Because the way I see this the TA was just printing illegal shares so there isn't any need for those scammers to short because they just keep printing shares. I think there is potential here but only if the real owner shows up like what has happened to BHUB
I'm not sure how important this is, cardiplegic solutions are nothing new, so the CVSS solution has to somehow be better, I'm trying to find the patent and read it to see what this is all about.(Anyone know the number?) And a quick search on Pubmed brings up lots of info on this topic so I doubt this particular patent is that useful.
Supposedly they even stole the UPS mailbox
http://www.investorshub.com/boards/read_msg.asp?message_id=18378226
I think the difference between BHUB and this here is the same scam was pulled but with BHUB the true owner has shown up and is trying to make things right. No one here is even really sure who owns the thing. Some effort has been put into tracking down Gloria Ma and seeing what she knows but no one can find her.
Finally got a fill for 40k today. I was trying at .006 and .007 the past few days with no luck. Seems like .008 is about as low as they will let it go for now.
New to this one here and trying to get caught up. What litigation are you referring to, is Soyo being sued by someone, I didn't see anything about that after a quick scan through the last several months of PRs and some of the messages here.
TIA
I also found this number
858-566-3222
http://www.switchboard.com/swbd.main/dir/results.htm?cid=&MEM=1&ypcobrand=1&PR=&ST=&...
The phone rang but no answering machine or person ever answered, anyone else try this number with any luck, at least getting a person saying no Gloria Ma here
This may seem simple but has anyone called the number listed on the Xxsys website because it seems Gloria still believes the company is around.
http://sira.ucsd.edu/pdf/Healthwise/Mar05.pdf
This is some random news letter for some group at UCSD from 2005 but she is mentioned on page 2 first column about half way down. Also interesting is Xxsys is described as being a biotech firm which is quite a bit different than the old Xxsys which sold earthquake wraps for bridges or something like that. I realize this newsletter is from March 2005 but the symbol change happened in Oct 2005 so just a few months after she is saying she is CEO of what would seem to be a viable company, pretty rapid turn around.
Actually this brings up another interesting point, has anyone tried contacting AGWS to see if they were trying R/M with BHUB last year and if so what happened that caused the deal not to happen
I don't think they are trying to impersonate, I think AGWS was looking for a shell to RM into and they found this one and backed out at the last moment, maybe they figured out something wasn't right here with Wong/Sparrow but the name change paper work had already been filed. I say this because AGWS did RM in June 2006.
The question of who would have to buy the illegal shares seems to be one of the main questions right now, I think the general opinion here is the brokers who sold them would have to. Wong and Sparrow probably couldn't buy them back even if they were somehow forced to.
I'm not sure how the MOASS thing will pan out, it seems to me getting to the point of making someone cover all these shares is going to take awhile. But in the short term I think good things could happen if Yucatan puts out a meaty PR giving some real details about share structure and what they are going to do to fix the situation
Well I think the point here is that Jason Wong/John Sparrow had no right to do any of the things they did because they were not the true owners. Basically they found a shell that they thought no one cared about or was paying attention too. They then called up Select Transfer told them they were the owners of the shell and to start printing shares.
The part that I don't really understand is how exactly does one go about hijacking something like this? How did Wong become the RA in the first place? Is it as simple as filling out a form and mailing it in and as long as the true owner isn't paying attention you get away with it?
Thanks for the info, figured it was something along those lines of not having held it for too long so didn't make whenever the cutoff date was. Anyway holding a little and thinking of trying to add a bit more down here. This thing moves around on nothing so if an RM does come, it could get pretty fun.
Yucatan does have affilations in Florida Jayme Dorrough is on the board of TechLabs, (TELA) some crappy health spa in S. Florida. Wouldn't whomever you talked to know that?
(Edit)
Actually can't tell what they do besides not make money, maybe sale storm doors
If there is one thing I have learned it is never to be surprised by anything in pinkland
rollin
Did you ever get a proxy? And for that matter has anyone else besides PDC? Just wondering why I never got one
This PR by Yucatan is a joke. IF they are the majority share holder as they claim and they know the share structure why didn't they just tell us the structure instead they give us this lame line.
"activity seems to be excessive considering the current share structure."
If they took the time to figure the RM with Cyberhand was being rumored, they also would know that no one is really sure what the share structure is either. Why not just tell us in this PR? Also if these guys do own this shell then they are the ones who have gagged the TA so once again they know no one knows the structure. I'm not sure if these clowns own this shell or not, but either way something with them smells.
Fringe has it right nothing easy here, but from what we think we know right now maybe 50 mil AS maybe 30 mil AS maybe a 1000 to 1 RS maybe a RM, maybe a huge short by the MM, this is worth throwing a something in and seeing what happens.
I may be way off here but

Search this document for Delaware you will see this sentence
In May 1999, the Company changed its name to TheBigHub.com, Inc. and elected to change the state of its incorporation from Florida to Delaware. See Notes 6 and 10.
Looks to me like DTG multimedia was a shell that became ATZN. Looking at all these things this Wang character has been involved with here are either shells or issues looking for shells.

I say worth the gamble to see what happens here, bought a lotto at .0001 this morning.
I don't know if it really matters if it is a mailbox or not, seeing this address pop up with this and BHUB seems a bit strange, but also don't really know what it means either
There is a UPS Store at the address
http://www.theupsstore.com/locations/locdet.asp?strCenterNum=MBE0786
But I don't think you get a STE number if you are just renting a mail box the address would be the ste # for the UPS store followed by a PMB #. I wish the UPS store website listed the Store's ste #
8000 is probably a little optimistic in 2003 it was only 5700. I use to go to some games a couple years ago when I lived in nashville and the stadium was rarely much over half full. But the good thing is the crowd is usually pretty young so hopefully the kind of people who would actually sign up. Also thursday was/is dollar beer night so I can imagine people getting loaded and being easily convinced to sign up.

I wonder if GZFX is going to try to market to any of the colleges in the area. I remember walking away from the bookstore all the time with a bag full of fliers for credit cards offers and such. Not sure how effective this marketing is but it's probably pretty cheap.
I'm probably going to take the deal and subscribe again. Overall I was happy with the level of service I was getting the last few months I was a customer. The customer service department may not have resolved may broken DVD issue to my liking but I did like the fact they respond to my emails very quickly, within a couple hours.
Not sure about the cost of damaged DVD's but I do feel I remember some discussion about this before and people referencing an average number of rentals per DVD before it becomes unusable, I think it was something like 12 or 13 times.
The thing that really annoyed me about the broken DVD I received was that it had already been identified as broken. It came with the word 'broken' written across it.
J
Just noticed someone else already posted similar email oh well...
Haven't posted in awhile but thought people might like to see this. I cancelled my membership in early May after they pissed me off by sending me a broken DVD and then wouldn't send me a replacement that would not count against my 3 out. But today I got this email trying to get me back. Glad to see they are trying to market to old customers and giving a good deal to boot.

Prof thanks for the info however one can't put loads of faith in this email. Did you really expect a PR rep with the Berlin exchange to criticize the person signing her checks? I honestly haven't paid any attention to the volume of GZFX traded in Berlin but if it has been low as you state, I think that evidence is pretty strong, that we don't need to be concerned with naked shorting, at least much stronger than Petra's email.
I emailed investor relations and JF about the Berlin issue, asking what GZFX hoped gain by being on that exchange and what they thought about the danger of naked shorting on that exchange. I never got a reply, this was many months ago...
Yeah that's what I did, the screen reloaded but nothing changed maybe a problem on my end, cookies off or something, everything else on the site has always worked though, mysterious...
I don't think the new modify queue option works, at least I couldn't figure it out either.
test
YoungCEO, the current centers are in Franklin, KY, Sterling, CO, and Holtville, CA. I would guess you get most of your orders filled from the KY location. The way things have been going I would guess they could be opening the NE location in 30 days and probably not any longer than 60 days. Just my uneducated guess
The return address on my most recent DVD is now Franklin, KY and the postage permit is also Franklin, some kind of move has taken place. Maybe they are taking over the dist. center from National Fulfillment? Wasn't that one of those future goals they had, to eventually drop NF? Just a guess...
Xan, I don't expect them to order every movie in my queue I just envision a situation where most everyone puts the 15 newest movies in their queues and everyone is fighting over those few titles, and then I don't have all those other less popular movies to fall back on to get my order filled.
Looks like I answered my different queue size question myself by reading the FAQ, was just too lazy to do it earlier.
Part of my compliant is the mixed signals they are sending. In the past the standard response from customer service about service problems was to add more selections into your queue. Now I'm being told cut my list down to 15 to improve service, what!?! So which is it more or less, in 6 months am I going to be told to get my queue back up to 50. Furthermore why can't they just keep my queue of 50 but only use the top 15 for their inventory/ordering purposes. Next it seems to me like the large queues provide them with more information about demand, I look at it as free research data.
Maybe I approach the service differently then some people, but I don't really care which of my 50 I get. The number 1 selection is just as good as number 50.
I'm on the 3 out at a time plan, anyone on another plan get this email? How large is your queue allowed to be, hopefully larger than my 15 particular if you are on the 8 out plan. Otherwise they have just created another annoying problem for people.
Hope this doesn't come across the wrong way, I'm not trying to bitch too much I just don't see how this answers or fixes any problems. In fact over the past 3 months I've been real happy with the level of service.
Xan - For your rosterI I'm in Chapel Hill, NC, GO HEELS!
