remember that they have cloud capability now - They may no longer need to rely on your machine's capabilities to process the video.
Does anyone know what's tied to the price drop / drop in the ask and corresponding high volume of apparent buy trades at the low ask? TIA
Thanks BlueSky. BTW, since we have met we should probably exchange contact info at some time. The third person who was with you and me at the AGM has my contact info. Cheers,
Folks:
I need a clarification on what I am seeing here - Did one of you get a message which said that contracts had been obtained but were not going to be reported until the next quarterly report / conference call?
I would expect that the primary targets for Clipstream are most likely going to be large and preferably enterprise-type situations, not the $30 per month small users.
I don't see any trades for yesterday and through the trading day so far today (11:25 EST). Do you folks confirm? TIA
Gerg: I don't know about freeze on insider purchases. We also do not know about the alleged naked short tied to Noramco / Bruce McDonald. Wish I had way to find out more about that.
Just a note: OTCMArkets.com has reported no short share positions as of 12/31/14 and 1/15/15.
BlueSky: I don't think they will stop until the negotiations are completed unless there is another vendor out there that they prefer. The number that I am watching for is basically an increase in the rate of the rise for the number of tracks. What do you folks think?
It looks like they had to do a major rewrite to deal with the throttling problem.
iHUB has an ignore feature, even for free users. Feel free to use it.
You know, part of this is a demonstration of a youtube-type application
can you tell me what LOTE stands for? Thanks
Yes, they have been doing a lot of the wide spread game recently.
Last post for me for this round: I'm guessing that folks have notice CSTI boxing in the trading again...
The vetting process, I expect, will really be an IT issue as opposed to a corporate decision. These things are normally not as straight forward as most folks think. If it is a company-wide change, you basically have one chance to not screw it up. Obviously my opinion, so folks should take it for what it's worth. GLTA
I think folks need to remember that we are probably talking about marketing to major companies here. If that is correct, then we can assume that the process for vetting the Clipstream solution will take some time. This is that 6 month sales process that the company has been quite open about. This vetting process will be done very quietly.
Hopefully, this is going on. Like you folks, I too am getting tired waiting for so long. Hopefully our discipline will be worth it.
Oh yeah, if it really turns out that there is a supersized naked short out there and the price goes to 100 or so during a squeeze, nobody will be happier than me !
right after I posted that, otcmarkets.com went down for maintenance. I hope the data I picked up about 4/30/14 is accurate.
Hey: I just looked at otcmarkets.com
The data usually shows 10 days after the end of the month and about 10 days after the 15th of the month. It looks like we can now see the data for 4/30/14 - but only if you pick the last 50 option in the short position section of DSNY's listing on otcmarkets.com
We'll need verification next week, but look at what it appears to be showing:

yes, CSTI has two hats; one good, the other bad. I found out about this during the post AGM visit in February.
I think you'll find that this type of very low volume with a flurry at the end of the day has been going on since early last week. Hope the sellers are really confirmed out by now. GLTA
Most recent (3/14/14) short sales data from OTCMarkets.com is out. Basically no change:

CEO's often serve on boards of other companies. It's pretty common practice.
The thing I am noticing is that CSTI has not been driving things too much over the past couple of days. I'm very curious to see what the OTCMarket short position is for the next release, which is going to be arounc 3/12 or so, I think.
If you look at the historical data I posted earlier, someone was front ending the short position reported on that site since the summer:

Thanks - I don't understand why I got it, but I won't question it.
Did you folks just receive the March issue of the big stocks newsletter - I just received a free copy via email? There is a section on Destiny in it. I need to read further.
RAL4:
I hope I'm paraphrasing all of this correctly (Folks might confirm this with Destiny's IR folks to make sure);
On the MPE front, there has not been change from what we have all heard before in recent conference calls. The company was hoping for more growth by this point. However, we are basically dealing with a situation where there are three major potential clients. Destiny has relationships with all three and the clients appear to be very happy with the product. The downside of having this type of relationship is that the company is totally at the mercy of the three clients in terms of deployment rate. I personally am watching for when the deployments in the UK and Germany get really active.
On the watermarking, the company was surprised that the stock price did not respond more to the news.
I personally tuned out for a minute during this part of the conversation. I think we all know that the scope of potential markets is pretty big. I'm going to leave it to the company to decide how it's going to take advantage of the patent (I forgot to ask about this, but I'm not sure if they got word that the patent was going to be granted / published or if the patent granting had actually been published.)
Hope this helps.
I'd better to back into my hole before Mr. Keables comes to have a chat with me about bad grammar...
Sure Dagshah -
All I was saying was that I would prefer folks taking enough time to do things right. You actually saw Destiny do this last year as they were rolling things out. Instead of just rolling the product out and fixing the problems later, they spent a lot of time in soft launch and beta test before they rolled the product out at the end of the year. This was frustrating for a lot of folks who haven't been involved in an IT installation, especially on these chat boards. This stuff always sounds easier than it is. Ask any IT director.
When the folks are doing their due diligence, I would expect that there will be (or is already happening) a lot of back and forth. Destiny's job is kind of tough because this is new territory and they have to build enough flexibility into the product to accommodate a wide scope of anticipated applications and glitches (like the ISP's throttling back speeds without telling anybody).
Obviously, this is all IMO and given my specific work background.
Hops this helps.
BlueSky:
I was out of town for a good part of yesterday also in addition to attending the AGM on Tuesday.
Before I answer, you should know a couple of my biases (I think you do already given how long we have been in communication). My background is in central finance/administration in large academic medical centers. I was also the one who was sent all over the place, so I a fair amount of experience working at the staff level and more as a bridge with the IT folks. So given all of that, I have the following biases: First, I don't like folks doing a whole ton of PR stuff. There is a time and place for that and in larger organizations, these discussions are really kept behind the scenes for the most part (both client and provider). Second, I also like folks who know a lot more than they say. In an academic medical center, there is always someone smarter than you.
OK, so given that, here are my comments:
1) The AGM - Not much happened. They voted on the key items you already saw posted. After that, there was a short Q&A session.
There were fewer people, I think, than last year, and only three of us went to the post-AGM session to view the clipstream demo.
2) I did ask about the Japanese relationship at the AGM. They did to go Japan late last year, and we will have to wait for companies they met with to due diligence / technical evaluation of the product before any contract discussions take place. I think Steve referred to a 5 month contract introduction to contract process at one or more of the recent quarterly reports. I do note that for large organizations, not taking this long for folks to do their homework is a bad sign.
3) Technical stuff - There were a couple of interesting items. The connection with the Apple products is close, but not yet done (We all heard this earlier). I didn't bother to ask about specific timeframes. They have quite a few instances of Apple folks using (bad / old) Windows machines to get an early glimpse of what they're going to get - This is really good. Also, it appears that local ISP's throttling down transfer rates, especially in dense East Coast markets, but a work around for that is expected relatively soon. This is not a problem with Clipstream. I would contend that this is a case where the local ISP's are trying to pull a fast one on their clients...
So, all in all, I'm pretty comfortable, even though I hate what's been done to the stock price recently (yes, I stayed all in through these price attacks through the summer).
Finally, I told Steve it was OK to tell you (BlueSky) who I am...

BlueSky:
I'm kind of old school - Like you, I've had this a very long time. Last year was the time for me to start seeing folks face to face. I did an impromptu stop in about 6 months earlier - That was the first contact.
Thanks for reminding me about the traffic last year. Yes, we are planning to leave a lot earlier this time.
Cheers,
BlueSky: Yeah, I'm pretty much open most times for a road trip - It's far easier driving north than south, and we just kind of like it in BC (just got back from some condo time in Victoria last month). Now, if DSNY would only make a move to 20 in the next couple of weeks, things will be much better...
Thanks again for recommending the Cactus Club last year.
anybody going to the AGM this year?
there seems to be some coordination - CSTI is the worst by far, but ATDF and maybe CDEL are also getting mixed up in this stuff. I beleive ATDF is electronic, so there's a good chance that it's masking the same entity working to kill this price via CSTI.
I know the data has some funk in it, but the short position reported by OTCMarkets.com has gone up quite a bit again...
