Ya, I’ve noticed that in the last year once we get knocked down we tend to trickle back up. In the past we would just keep trickling down. Things are looking more promising every month.
I am unable to get on. It says resource limit reached
Wow. Can this run be explained by anything other than someone knows something? We have had many PRs about a breakthrough. None except for the first big breakthrough have done this to the PPS, Or is it all just anticipation?
Wow didn’t expect this kind of reaction from the news. Someone out there must have been waiting to hear this news.
Price/weight goes down as the load gets heavier. According to this sight it’s just over $3/lbs by the time your over 251kg

I’m pretty sure that you have to wait 30 days b4 you can by back in and be able to write it off as a loss. If your selling for a gain I wouldn’t recommend it.
“Anyone expect tax loss selling to come into play this year?”
I was thinking about this. I don’t believe we will see any sell off due to taxes. I think most who bought high have already sold off. Many who have been here for a while would most likely have to pay in on shares they sell.
I also believe there is a rule that says you can’t just sell for the loss and buy back in right away. I think you have to wait 30 days. With January look so promising I don’t think people want to risk it.
One day history will not share your point of view. Kim Thompson will be the name people will remember.
He will be accredited all the success. Like so many men and women before him that achieved what was once thought impossible.
No one who has achieved greatness in business would have gotten there without the people under them holding them up.
All assuming KBLB is 100% successful.
When we sent out monster silk for 3rd party verification. Wasn’t that in South Korea?
Is it really that hard to let this go. Even the first time I heard it I understood it as potential in the area of Vietnam. No way did I think they could do 100m tons year out of that one facility. When the entire country does 450m. As soon as it was brought up I went back to the audio to confirm what I remembered hearing. And what I heard again confirmed what I thought the first time. It’s really not that complicated. And nothing to bring up over and over like it’s some kind of big deal. Because it absolutely isn’t. Just a misinterpretation.
I work for a company that is aig based. We have 5 facilities that are spaced out across about 150 miles. This is for logistics of crop delivery. We are have a rough year because of weather. So one might think we would just share crops and keep each facility running. That isn’t the case. It’s not cost effective to hall the extra distance. So 2 facility were shut down for 2 weeks until that area was able to get there crop up. The average cost of down time is $70,000.00 an hr. So put them up next to each other is probably not the best idea.
Well now that all the red tape has been gone through for the province they have potential to expand. I’m guessing the potential is based on the mulberry supply for this province. Remember there is more red tape to venture any further then this province.
I was just listening to the audio again about the 100 ton. Rice says out of this facility and surrounding areas. It’s about 41:50 on the audio. So I’m guessing there not planning on just the one facility.
This whole genetic drift thing could work in our favor for security. Say someone gets ahold of some of our worms. If they don’t know how to breed them they will end up with nothing. And with small samples it will take them forever to figure out what KBLB already did.
I often wondered if Kim might do something like this for security purposes. Not saying thats why we have this now. But I always figure he could put some sort of genetic code that would regress if a certain something wasn’t done regularly.
When I see huge ask prices that clearly won’t be bought I figure that person is holding the price down to accumulate. So maybe not so dumb. What else could it be. Most people know that in this low volume an ask that big isn’t going to budge. So clearly they didn’t really want to sell. It was pulled down after all and we closed well above it.
I have to agree with you here. Of all the giant leaps to connect the dots on this board this one definitely has the smallest gaps between dots.
Really shouldn’t matter much until we know for sure. It’s not like this rumor has done much for the share price.
I’m sure you meant to say in your humble opinion. Because if you in fact knew that you would be able to present evidence.
If you only take one thing away from the last 2 PRs. It should be this. Kim isn’t going to let the price fall and stay below
.20. This is the second time he protected this level.
This is nothing more than a post from another message board forum.
You can pay to have anything published but you don’t pay to be nominated for an award.
“The 8-K tanked our share price by 60%. We remain stuck in the low 20's even today. Obviously if this news had a short shelf-life, people would have forgotten about it and the share price would once again be moving steadily green. It's not. “
This can’t be forgotten it’s in the future. It’s still hanging over our heads. Because it hasn’t actually happened yet. It’s not the same as getting good news that will eventually become historical news.
I wish I had more details same as you. All we can do is speculate. I wish I new more about this small window Kim is talking about. Small is a relative term. Are we talking days weeks. Who knows.
“Look at the Polartec pr and where we are...that lasted because we got the announcement and confirmation from them that there is indeed an ongoing collaboration between the two which they BOTH hope believe will culminate with products being made and sold... “
We have had 2 major pull backs since then. The first of which was based on nothing more then it ran to far to fast. Charts needed to be reset. Yes we gradually gained the ground back but maybe it wouldn’t be fast enough. This will happen again on any run from here to $4. It will likely happen more then once on a run that big.
“Good financing news won’t fade...production news with production increasing rapidly won’t fade...a combined pr with a large sports apparel company won’t fade...army contract news won’t fade... “
shorting may not be a realistic option at this level but it will be very easy once above $2.50 a share. And u still have to worry about the above statement.
“If any of those things can be pr’d right now, there is NO reason to wait...the idea that timing is critical is a carrot on a stick...that could drag out as long as kim wants it too...”
If Kim was able to run it just high enough today it would dwindle by thanksgiving. If he fired all his powder and had nothing to carry for almost 3 months.
“The only reason not to pr any of those things is that there is no good financing to report, there is no real production to report, the sports apparel company is not willing to announce and there is nothing with the army... “
My concern is that these announcements rest on up listing. Not the army but the others.
If there is a small window to up list then the timing of the PRs is going to be critical.
If they start a PR campaign to soon the price could drop right b4 the up list date.
I think it will start somewhere between next week and the end of the month.
Thanks for the info. Maybe this Workman Nydegger group work on our international patent next.
So this is based of patents filed last year and not the 5 filed with Workman Nydegger in May?
I don’t see anything dated this year like your last post had.
Once KBLB hits 10billion I will have made all the money I would ever need. And likely only keep a small stake
So even if you were correct and this was a giant elaborate scam. Everyone in today would stand to make a fortune.
Thanks. U just brightened my day.
We have a really strong base in the low .20s. There has to be more than 70+ million shares accumulated from .19-.23 conservatively.
The only people I know paying anywhere near that are scientists in Antarctica.
I live in the one of the coldest areas the Midwest. You can get an entire snowmobile suit for less then that. And that’s plenty warm.
Also it’s hardly mass production. There’s probably less then 20lbs of silk in all 50 coats combined. And I’m being generous.
As far as I’m concerned until they say there silk has the strength of spider silk or something approaching it. This is just a novelty. Put the words spider silk together and people will buy it. For a while. Until they realize they could get the same quality coat for a 3rd of the price.
I would put money down that this is strictly promotional and they are losing money on these jackets.
Did anyone ever get the promotional tie a few years ago?
$1415.00 jacket... WOW.
The picture was much older then this summer. I think it was from last year. I can’t remember exactly, but it was definitely older then this summer as stated by Truth.
Buying Polartec is one thing, and I like that idea. Competing with your customers isn’t a smart move.
I worked for a manufacturing company that work on large mining equipment. We were bought out by Caterpillar. Who was our biggest customer at the time. Once the other customers that were in direct competition with Cat heard. They pulled out all orders, and took there business somewhere else. They didn’t want their competition supplying their parts.
1. KBLB makes raw materials.
2. Polartec turns raw materials into usable goods for a retailer. Except in the case of the military. I believe they sell direct.
3. Retailers sell usable goods to consumers.
I think we should stick with 1. & 2. And leave the retail to the already established big boys.
The only way I would say we get into retail is if we did it right away. But I believe it would take much longer for the share price to appreciate.
People talk about Kim being such a genius...even when he does something stupid, it’s because he’s a genius?...sorry...not buying that...
There are only about 1900 members in the triple 9 society out of 7 billion people. It a pretty elite club.
All I heard from the sh meet was that kim was clear, personable, spoke confidently, for long periods of time, answered many questions with great detail, seemed very friendly and got along well with everyone he came into contact with...
Like I said. You, especially being uneducated in the matter, wouldn’t even notice that an adult has Aspergers. They learn to adapt. Social cues that come easy to most people have to be learned by someone with Aspergers. It’s a little more obvious in a child. Aspergers is known as a high functioning form of autism. It’s only a Disablity in the social aspect. Usually everything else they have to offer exceeds the average person by a very noticeable amount.
But when he screws up, we’ll, he’s probably got ass burgers or he’s autistic...
If Kim does have it. He probably wouldn’t look at the last PR as a mistake. To him it was probably exciting news. The name was omitted intentionally. I would put money on the reasoning being that he didn’t want shareholders probing her for info.
This is an attorney who argued complex civil cases in front of juries...and won...
People with Aspergers more often then not excel at any job. They usually cut out the world to focus on the job at hand. Which is partially why they excel.
The guy is just a crappy ceo...maybe a good lawyer...came up with one good idea..but just plain sucks at running a company...
While I would like to see someone with the more defining qualities of a CEO step up some day. I would feel a lot more comfortable with Kim in the background guiding him in major decisions.
There are many people who are on the spectrum and don’t even realize it themselves. They learn to cope. The average person wouldn’t even think much of it.
“Autism expert Simon Baron-Cohen believes Einstein showed symptoms of Asperger syndrome. As a child, he had no friends and, until he was seven years old, he compulsively repeated sentences.
Einstein's lectures were also incredibly confusing and he had trouble communicating his thoughts clearly. The inability to communicate his thoughts, Baron-Cohen argues, could be indicative of Asperger's.
However, University of California psychiatrist Glenn Elliott disagrees. He thinks Einstein could have been isolated simply because he was so intelligent and had no patience for those who couldn't keep up with his thinking. Elliott also points out that Einstein had a good sense of humor, which is extremely rare in people with Asperger's.”
“Nikola Tesla was a brilliant engineer and inventor. Asperger syndrome is actually often called "the engineers' disorder," because many engineers display symptoms of it.
Throughout his life, Tesla struggled to interact with other people and he spent most of his time working in solitude. As a child, he had an unusually long attention span, often working on a single project for hours. Tesla was hypersensitive to certain sounds and physical sensations and he had no tolerance for loud noises. Tesla had a remarkable gift: the ability to visualize complex machines and test them using only his mind. io9 points out that many of these qualities are associated with autism”
I don’t find it all that amazing. People with high IQs often have a hard time communicating with the average person.
They get excited about things that don’t normally mean anything to the average person.
They also tend to forget that the people there talking to aren’t privy to the same information that they have.
He might have Asperger’s.
I had a really intelligent science teacher. But he wasn’t a great teacher because he talked to the students like we knew what he knew already. He went on to be a university professor. Probably a better fit then 8th grade science teacher.
Volume is still low. I’m sure it will fill.
I agree. The lack of a name is to keep her from being harassed by SHs.
I also agree that this is probably likely the start of another PR campaign.
At this point I pretty tired of the R&D PRs.
They will be great after some serious production has gone on. At that point they may even help the SP.
If everyone knows the price will drop after a RS. How could a 40-1 at $0.10 ever work?
If we needed to maintain $4.
You say it’s been the same for 10 years. So are you saying he has always had contempt for the shareholders?
Because previously you made it sound like it was the years of shareholders driving him crazy that caused it. If that was the case the behavior would have changed.
That conflicts with the same old same old for ten years statement.
I’m sure he has cursed the shareholders from time to time. But I don’t believe for a second he is just holding everything against us.
For one thing out of hundreds maybe thousands of shareholders only a handful have even contacted him by the sounds of it. I’m sure it was even fewer that contact WM. Which is what this whole debate has really been about.
I find it hard to believe that he just decided screw everyone because a few people caused an issue. He is a 50 something year old adult not a child. Hell even a child will eventually get over it.
“ He has a responsibility and fiduciary duty to keep shareholders informed and to act in the best interest of the shareholders and the share price. He BARELY keeps shareholders informed. Just enough to stay out of trouble.”
So he is doing what is required of him. But you and others want more. Which is human nature. We always want more. And that means he dislikes shareholders? I think that’s a big leap.
Hell from where I’m sitting I want more as well. But if I were in his shoes. I would probably do it the same way he is.
As for what’s best for the shareholders. That’s purely in the eye of the beholder. Kim obviously feels that company success is what’s best for the shareholders and not the current share price. And for those of us looking to invest long term I agree with that.
I still feel the end will justify the means. I also feel the end will start to unfold this year.
