Driller - No problem at all. We appreciate the info, I just thought it was jumpin the gun a bit by saying that every Walmart in Colorado had their shelves stocked already with Cabana. I do believe that they will be carried by a majority of the Walmarts across the country in the not so distant future. These deals take time though and patience will be key for the investors here. Hopefully we will see some real progress this Qrt., so funding or dilution will be very limited or not needed at all.
I am a little concerned that the company who is supposed to distribute the Coconut Water throughout Canada, still has a different brand of coconut water listed on their site and no mention or listing of Cabana Coconut Water on their sites product listing. Hopefully they just haven't had the time to list it yet and that this is a legitimate deal.
I hope we get updated on the new Pulse drinks, because they were supposed to be released a month ago. Anyways, thanks for your input to this board and thank you Dave for the photos, we really appreciate your efforts. Take care.
Hi Driller - As an investor in PLSB, I was hoping your last post was true, because that would have been approx. 50-60 Walmarts that they landed, but when the other investor posted that Cabana was only in 1 out of 3 Walmart stores that he visited ... It seems that you may have been incorrect. That was disappointing.
Your Post:
"Listen closely, Every Walmart in Colorado has already stocked PLSB beverages. Did you get that?
One more time....EVERY Walmart in Colorado has stocked PLSB beverages. They are NOW on the shelf."
I know they have landed accounts with multiple Walmarts in Colorado. I just do not know which ones or how many. Can you please explain your statement, because many here hold you in high regard for being such a large investor in this company.
No news in almost 2 months and over possibly the busiest summer months. I really hope they announce a very strong quarter.
I'm looking forward to your response and thanks in advance.
Thanks for verifying Jane ... And you guys didn't believe me :) Listed at the same price as Calypso. Calypso should be in trouble, once the customers view the sugar content compared to Cabana.
The Lemonades, but not sure how many stores they have secured or just test runs at stores ... Hopefully we will be updated soon ... But very promising.
Driller - The management team's March 31st 2014 company's update is what has increased Investor's expectations. Look ... I love their products and drink them almost every day, but management has exaggerated their revenue time frame by a long shot.
March 31 2014 -The quick ramp of our lemonade inspired us to leverage the distribution network with another less seasonal product that is experiencing a rapid rate of consumer adoption – coconut water. In February, we launched Natural Cabana® Coconut Water, selling out of our first shipment of 14,000 cases prior to the beverage’s formal debut at Natural Products Expo West, a leading tradeshow venue that we attended in March. As of today, I am pleased to report that total orders for our coconut water have reached 120,000 cases.
Now if they had 120,000 cases of the Coconut Water ordered back in March, don't you think a majority of the revenue should be recognized this quarter? Plus other ordered cases from the last 5-6 months?
If 2nd Qrt. 2014 case sales of the Lemonade were about 104,000 cases and Coconut Water cases were 21,000 cases, then they should report sales of at least 100,000 Cases of the Coconut Water (Remaining of the 125,000 cases ordered as of March 31 2014 as stated above) and lemonade case sales should be at least 200,000, based on managements statement of approx. 3 times case sales compared to 2nd Qrt. Based on this info, they should report a minimum of $3,000,000 in revenue for the 3rd Qrt, which should be a profitable Qrt. Also, hopefully they were able to collect on their $1,100,000 is accounts receivables from last Qrt.
I really believe that the stock would be performing much better if management didn't express such high expectations. They should have been realistic up until this point and over achieved each Qrt, because personally I think Pulse has done a very good job in a very short period of time and all with a very limited staff.
Hopefully it will be an excellent 3rd Quarter. Please note that the above figures are based on prior qrts and managements news releases. Any comments would be greatly appreciated.
Hi Driller - I've been an investor in Pulse for over 2 years and just want your opinion. The news on Aug 13th 2014 about the Coconut Water and Mexico, etc... If you'll notice below, the partnering company wasn't even formed until Sept 17th 2014 ... No wonder we couldn't find out any information on his company at the time. While I'm glad they do exist ... I just find it odd that the corporation wasn't even created until a month after the news was released. Your view of this situation?

I really would appreciate your input.
Had a Raspberry Limeade today ... very tasty ... even has a nice tartness to it. I was beginning to wonder whether they were actually manufacturing it :)
Hard to have patience during this time, but hopefully we will be rewarded in the long run.
Also, if they added pulp, you may as well remove kids from consuming ... I know my kids don't like pulp. :)
Actually ... You do need to shake well. All of the good stuff has a tendency to go to the bottom. It tastes much better when you shake.
Hi John - I'm located in the Orlando area and have spotted 3 7-11's that I have visited ... Carry the Cabana Coconut Water. There hasn't been any news about 7-11 stores in Florida, so I'm assuming that it may be accounts that a local distributor for Pulse services. Good sign though.
I heard he was addicted to their Lemonades and Coconut Water because of their obvious great taste and because he had such easy access to their products, his wife was pissed at him for spending so much of their cash on them.
You have the wrong guy ... I have never insulted anyone on this board. The only thing that I have ever said to you was that you were misleading when you stated that they started their "Manufacturing" in 2006 ... which was incorrect by about 5 years. Besides that ... You have been more accurate than most. Don't get a swelled head :)
This is what happens when you over promise and under achieve. Management is starting to lose all credibility. It's a shame, because they have fantastic products. If they would have been realistic from the beginning with each quarter going forward ... in my opinion the stock would never have taken this kind of hit. Now it looks like they will have to dilute the hell out of our shares to raise the capital needed going forward.
So disappointing, because I think management is doing an excellent job of manufacturing and selling their products considering the short time frame, but their communication with their stockholders has been extremely exaggerated and extremely non transparent. How they think their unrealistic sales projections won't come back to haunt them or won't seem disingenuous to their valued shareholders ... Is beyond me.
From Smashburger Facebook Page:
Smashburger is upping our organic drink game. Come buy and try a Cabana All Natural Lemonade or Strawberry Lemonade — at Smashburger Fairfax.
I agree. Hope we're wrong, but I feel the same way.
Navy - You read my mind. Should be a very busy time of year and no news or update information in almost 2 months ... Very disappointing. Hopefully they have a good quarter or we will definitely see lower prices in the short term. Positive earnings and progress are the only factors that will increase shareholder value, unless of course a Walmart Deal, but we can't count on that.
Hi geeze - Just curious ... do you own any of PLSB Stock? If not, do you plan on purchasing in the future? If not, why on earth would you take the time to post about a small company that you are not interested in? Somehow I don't think that you are trying to protect everyone here out of the goodness of your heart. :) Come on ... What's your angle?
Paddy Shea mentioned the Walmart test marketing and hopeful deal that they have been working on ... during the open conference call, but I believe he was talking about the Coconut Water. Not 100% positive on that, but that is what I recall.
Maybe Calypso is worried about Cabana overtaking them soon! Would be nice :)
It may be just a Pulse Beverage disgruntled employee who knew their facebook password and hacked it and changed it over to Calypso. I certainly hope this is the case or this will be very disappointing.
A comment from a Pulse Employee on the same facebook page:

I work for Pulse and this is new to me

Maybe Calpyso just high jacked their Facebook Page ... Just don't know what's up?
I meant to say King Juice Company.
Cabana Lemonade Facebook page has been changed to Calypso Lemonade? I wonder if pulse sold the Cabana Lemonade Brand to King Beverage ... Manufacturer of Calypso Lemonade to fund their Limeades & Coconut Waters? Anyone know anything about this?
Thanks Geez - you just reinforced what I said, plus I researched that info a long time ago.
All you should be concerned about, is when they started trading as a public company under the symbol PLSB and I believe it was around the beginning of 2011. Did it take them a few years to get together the management team, purchase the rights to Pulse Drinks from Baxter, develop flavor profiles, Cabana Lemonade's, etc ... Absolutely.
We will just have to wait and see what kind of progress they make, as far as revenue, profits, etc ... The rest of this year into to the first half of next year. I'm willing to wait ... Very difficult and competitive business ... We will just have to wait and see what happens.
By the way SumFax (Yahoo message boards) or Geezer ... You spend a lot of time trying to drive the price down ... interesting :)It's so nice of you looking out for us longs! LOL.
Now Geezer ... don't be misleading. They didn't start manufacturing until April 2011. It's been a little over 4 Years. Did they way over estimate ... absolutely! Did they want the share price to escalate before they were trying to raise some cash ... very shrewd ... less dilution.
Now... Be a good boy :)
Hey Kampman - I wonder if the new drink that they were referring to is going to be a Relaxation Drink? They said there was only a couple of competitors out there and one company is dominating right now. Pulse said that their flavor profile taste better and will have a lower price point
(Coma Unwind) & (Bob Marley)
These drinks are becoming quite popular, with very little competition as far as quantity of companies.
Just a guess! :)
Take care.
By the way Kampman ... you asked some excellent questions ... thanks for that.
Hi Dave
I can assure you that there was a conference call at 6:00PM sharp Eastern Time. Myself and 2 others had questions for management. They answered the questions thoroughly and even added valuable information about plans and the future. They also stated that even though they are obviously running low on cash, they are going to do everything they can to not have to dilute the existing shares. That means possibly traditional bank loans, etc ...
After listening to the call, I purchased about 30,000 more shares today.
By the way, who on the call asking questions has the strong southern accent? :)
Hope this helps.
I was on the call. Very informative and we have a couple of very sharp men leading this company.
Pulse new designed bottles
If you view the new slide presentation under Investors Link on
page 4 of 19, it may be the new design.
Fred Meyer Stores are owned by Kroger
Kroger purchased Fred Meyer in 1999 for 13.5 Billion and because Pulse already has a relationship with Kroger (3800 Stores) ... huge potential for the Coconut Water, Lemonade, Limeade, and Pulse Drinks.
Nice to see real progress being made ... hopefully accelerated revenue will follow in the quarters ahead.
By the way ... I'll be happy to join the future party!
GLTA
Does anyone have an image of the Limeade bottles?
Jane - Are you saying that the Limeade is available for purchase somewhere? If so ... where?
Thanks in advance.
